Abstract

Pola pendidikan Rasulullah SAW pada masa awal Islam menunjukkan perbedaan karakteristik antara fase Mekkah dan fase Madinah sesuai dengan kondisi umat Islam pada masing-masing periode. Perbedaan tersebut penting dikaji untuk memahami pola pendidikan Islam pada masa Rasulullah SAW. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola pendidikan Rasulullah SAW pada fase Mekkah dan Madinah, meliputi materi pendidikan, metode pembelajaran, serta lembaga-lembaga pendidikan yang berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research) melalui penelaahan berbagai sumber pustaka yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada fase Mekkah, pendidikan Islam difokuskan pada penanaman akidah tauhid, pembentukan keimanan, dan pembinaan akhlak melalui pengajaran Al-Qur’an dengan metode ceramah, dialog, tanya jawab, keteladanan, pembiasaan, dan hafalan. Sementara itu, pada fase Madinah, pendidikan Islam berkembang dengan materi yang lebih beragam, seperti Al-Qur’an, hadits, fiqh, akhlak, sejarah, dan ilmu-ilmu praktis, didukung oleh metode pembelajaran yang lebih variatif serta keberadaan lembaga pendidikan seperti Masjid Nabawi, Ash-Shuffah, rumah para sahabat, pasar Madinah, dan rumah-rumah Ummahatul Mukminin. Pola pendidikan tersebut memberikan gambaran adanya perkembangan materi, metode, dan sarana pendidikan yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi umat, serta menjadi dasar penting dalam perkembangan pendidikan Islam pada masa selanjutnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal’s managerial strategies in improving the quality of academic services in secondary schools. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving principals, curriculum coordinators, teachers, administrative staff, and students. The findings reveal that managerial strategies encompassing planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating—directly contribute to the improvement of academic service quality. This improvement is supported by four key components: educational human resources, academic information systems, supervision and quality culture, and school facilities. The study also identifies that curriculum services, administrative services, learning processes, and academic digitalization represent the main indicators of academic service quality that show significant enhancement. The results emphasize that improving academic service quality depends on the synergy between the principal’s leadership, the strength of the school’s support systems, and the collective commitment of all stakeholders.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of education in the digital era on students’ development. The rise of digital technology has introduced various innovations in the field of education, but it also raises questions about whether these advancements truly provide tangible benefits for students or merely create an illusion of progress. The main objective of this research is to explore how digital technology influences the quality of education, changes in teaching methods, and its effects on student achievement. The study employs a literature review method by analyzing various academic sources, including articles, journals, and publications related to the topic. The findings reveal that while digital technology can enrich students’ learning experiences and broaden their access to educational resources, there are also challenges such as digital inequality, dependence on technology, and the potential loss of social interaction in the learning process. Therefore, achieving sustainable educational progress requires the wise and balanced use of technology alongside teaching approaches that support students’ holistic development. Collaboration among educators, the government, and the community is essential to ensure that digital innovation truly brings meaningful and lasting benefits to the future of education.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning process so that students can actively and creatively develop their potential including spiritual religion, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and the skills needed by themselves. Discipline is a condition that is created and formed through a process of a series of behaviors that show the values of obedience, compliance, loyalty, order and order. Discipline will make someone know and be able to distinguish what things should be done, what must be done, what is allowed to be done, what should not be done (because they are prohibited things. Research This aiming For know strategies used by PPKn teacher in to form discipline students at SMP PGRI 6 Malang and factors that influence it . Method research used is descriptive qualitative, with technique data collection in the form of observation , interviews , and documentation. Results study show that strategies used by PPKn teachers Enough effective in to form character discipline students . Abstract

The learning motivation of elementary school students remains a major challenge in 21st-century education, particularly when instructional methods and media fail to promote active student engagement. This article aims to formulate an integrative conceptual framework that combines Google Sites as an online learning platform with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to enhance students’ intrinsic motivation. Employing a library research method, this study synthesizes national studies from 2021 to 2025 related to learning motivation, digital learning media, and the implementation of PBL in elementary schools. The findings reveal that when Google Sites is designed to align with PBL phases such as problem presentation, group discussions, data exploration, documentation, and reflection, it significantly enhances students’ learning motivation. The integration of Google Sites with PBL also improves learning outcomes, active participation, and the mastery of 21st-century skills (4C). This article concludes that Google Sites functions not merely as a content delivery medium, but as a digital learning ecosystem that fosters autonomy, self-confidence, and sustainable engagement among elementary learners. Effective implementation, however, requires teachers’ digital readiness and adequate infrastructure support to ensure successful and continuous application in primary education.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of the Cook-Quiz learning medium on the learning motivation of fifth-grade elementary students when studying figurative language (majas) in indonesian language lessons. A quantitative pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach was applied to 26 students of SDN Pucakwangi 01, Pati Regency, during the 2025/2026 academic year. Motivation was assessed using a 20 item Likert-scale queationnaire covering four key dimensions: interest, active participation, persistence, and self-confidence. Data were analysed through descriptive statistics and paired sample t-tests. Findings revealed a substantial rise in the average motivation score from 50.00 at pretest to 71.50 after the Cook-Quiz intervention, yielding a mean gain of 21.50 points. The paired t-test produced a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05) and Cohen’s effect size of 9.22, classified as extremely large. These results provide strong evidence that the Cook-Quiz, a tangible gamification tool, significantly boost students’ learning motivation, particularly in abstract and figurative topics, by creating a more dynamic, competitively engaging, and meaningful classroom environment.

Abstract

The phenomenon of using digital storytelling with local culture themes in Grade IV at SDN Temanggal represents an innovative method for enhancing students’ understanding of local cultural values. This study aims to analyze the use of digital storytelling in Social Studies learning and its impact on students’ comprehension of local cultural values. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through technique and source triangulation. The findings indicate that digital storytelling facilitates students’ understanding of local cultural value concepts and encourages active engagement in the learning process. The study concludes that digital storytelling is an effective strategy for improving students’ comprehension of local culture. Recommendations are provided for the continuous development of digital learning media and the enhancement of teacher training related to digital technology.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the modern era demands that the world of education provides learning media that are creative, innovative, and appropriate to the character of students. However, in practice, Indonesian language learning is still dominated by conventional methods that are less interesting, resulting in minimal learning motivation and low student understanding of the material. This problem indicates the need for learning media that can integrate visual elements, text, and interactivity, one of which is through the use of digital comics. This study aims to describe the role of digital comics as an innovative and creative Indonesian language learning medium and explain how the media contributes to increasing student motivation, engagement, and understanding. The method used in this study is a literature study, namely by analyzing various previous studies, national journals, scientific articles, and relevant books related to the use of digital comics in learning. The literature study procedure includes source collection, classification, thematic analysis, and synthesis of research results. The results of the study indicate that digital comics have a significant role as a learning medium that can increase the appeal of the material, facilitate understanding of text concepts, foster student creativity, and create a more interactive learning atmosphere. Digital comics have also been proven effective in developing students' visual literacy and reading literacy skills. In conclusion, digital comics are a suitable alternative for innovative and creative Indonesian language learning media, and can support improving the quality of teaching and learning in the digital era.

Abstract

TAUFIQ HIDAYAT, 2025. The Effect of the Active Model of the Question-Giving and Answering Type on the Indonesian Speaking Skills of Class V of MIN 1 Gowa. Thesis, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Department of Elementary School Teacher Education. Supervisor I Munirah and Supervisor II Syahruddin. This study aims to determine the effect of the Active Model of the Question-Giving and Answering Type on the Indonesian Speaking Skills of Class V of MIN Gowa. This study employed a quantitative experimental approach (pre-experimental design) with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 35 fifth-grade students at MIN 1 Gowa. The instruments used for data collection were observation, tests, and documentation. Based on the research results, data analysis, and discussion, it can be concluded that the Question and Answer model has an impact on the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at MIN 1 Gowa. This can be seen from the increase in test scores given before the Question and Answer model was implemented, which only obtained an average score of 56.6, with 71% being in the very low category, 14% being in the low category, 6% being in the medium category, 9% being in the high category, and 0% being in the very high category. After the Question and Answer model was implemented, the average post-test score was 79.6, with 0% being in the very low category, 20% being in the low category, and 17% being in the medium category. Meanwhile, the high category was 46% and 17% being in the high category.The results of students' speaking skills and data obtained using the t-test formula after t = 17 and t = 2.032, then t > t, or 17 > 2.032. Therefore, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that the Giving Questions and Getting Answers model has an effect on the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at MIN 1 Gowa.

Abstract

IPAS learning at the elementary school level often leads to boredom among students, especially when studying map material without the use of engaging media. This study aims to describe the effect of implementing YouTube-based learning media on improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 23 Pekanbaru in the map material of the IPAS subject. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with a pretest-posttest design. The research instrument consisted of a learning achievement test related to map material. The data analysis results indicate a significant effect of YouTube-based learning media on students’ learning outcomes, as evidenced by the paired sample t-test showing a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The improvement is also seen in the comparison of minimum, maximum, and average posttest scores, which are higher than those of the pretest. Furthermore, the N-Gain value of 0.5819 indicates a moderate level of improvement. Thus, the implementation of YouTube-based learning media has proven to be effective in enhancing the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 23 Pekanbaru on map material.
