Abstract

In the modern era, parents face serious challenges in providing religious education and character development for children. The declining involvement of children in religious activities at mosques, prayer rooms, and madrasah diniyyah, along with excessive use of technology, has contributed to the erosion of character values such as discipline, empathy, and respect. Therefore, integrating a local content curriculum with a Qur’an memorization (tahfidz Al-Qur’an) program has become a strategic solution implemented by Islamic educational institutions. This study examines the implementation of a tahfidz Al-Qur’an program as an effort to develop Islamic character among male ninth-grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Fikri Bringin Kauman Ponorogo. The objectives of this study are to describe the implementation process of the tahfidz Al-Qur’an program and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach and was conducted at Darul Fikri Islamic Boarding School, Bringin Kauman, Ponorogo, in January 2024. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using an interactive analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur’an program contributes to the formation of students’ Islamic character, including sound faith (aqidah shahihah), noble character (akhlakul karimah), tolerance, discipline, and consistency in worship. The program is implemented through an initial student selection process, the use of muraja’ah, rabth, and ziyadah methods, and the establishment of memorization targets at each educational level. Continuous evaluation is conducted through tasmi’, istimrar ayat, and monthly lajnah. Supporting factors include students’ motivation, individual abilities, and a conducive boarding school environment, while inhibiting factors require ongoing attention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the CPS (Creative Problem Solving) learning model on students' problem solving abilities in Mathematics subjects of class V SD Negeri 98 Palembang. This study uses the Quantitative Non-Equivalent Control Group Design method. The independent variables in this study are the CPS (Creative Problem Solving) learning model and the dependent variable is students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The sample in this study used two classes selected using the Saturated Sampling Technique at SD Negeri 98 Palembang. The data analysis methods used in this study are Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and Intenpendent Sample T-Test. Data Processing Results Show the Average Posttest of the Experimental Class is 81.07 and the Control Class is 44.64. In Hypothesis Testing, t count> t table or 0.05> 000 is obtained, Based on the Independent Sample T-Test Test in this study, the Sig (2-Tailed) value is 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that the significant value is smaller than 0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant difference between classes using the CPS learning model and conventional learning models.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of limited learning time allocation on elementary school students' science learning outcomes. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining relevant previous research results in the 2015–2025 time frame. Data were obtained from various scientific databases such as Google Scholar, ERIC, and ResearchGate using the keywords learning time allocation, science learning outcomes, and elementary education. The results of the study show that limited learning time has a significant effect on the quality of science learning outcomes, especially in terms of students' mastery of scientific concepts and critical thinking skills. Limited learning time prevents experiments, observations, and reflections from being carried out optimally. The effectiveness of learning does not only depend on the length of time but also on the teaching strategies and time management applied by teachers. The application of innovative learning methods such as generative strategies, project-based learning, and efficient time management has been proven to improve learning outcomes even under time constraints. These findings emphasize the importance of effective time management and adaptive learning planning to improve the quality of science learning in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth graders at MIN 7 Bandar Lampung through the application of a picture puzzle learning model with the help of word wall media. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model. Each cycle includes the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. With a mixed approach between qualitative descriptive and quantitative. The instruments used in this study include test sheets, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that students' critical thinking skills in cycle 1 reached 61.53% while in cycle II students' critical thinking skills increased to 77%. This achievement has met the established success indicators. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the picture puzzle learning model assisted by word wall media can improve the critical thinking skills of fifth graders at MIN 7 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Nagekeo Regency is one of the regions in East Nusa Tenggara that has various potentials in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, and animal husbandry. The agricultural sector is the most dominant in Nagekeo Regency. However, the outbreak of banana diseases has reduced economic resources and disrupted traditional activities. Teachers have not provided learning that directs students toward critical, creative, innovative thinking skills and problem-solving related to banana plants. In fact, the Deep Learning learning concept aims to create more meaningful, critical learning that produces new solutions with creative insights to address problems in the surrounding environment. The purpose of this study was to design and implement the Deep Learning concept in craft lessons on banana cultivation in polybags following the outbreak of banana blood disease among high school students. This study used a quantitative approach with a pretest–posttest control design. The subjects were grade X students at Aesesa High School. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes, motivation, and student activeness and enthusiasm in learning activities.

Abstract

Kemampuan apresiasi sastra siswa sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah karena pembelajaran sastra belum berjalan secara optimal dan media yang dimanfaatkan belum mampu sepenuhnya menunjang proses pembelajaran sastra. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, media digital interaktif media literacy cloud menjadi solusi. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna meninjau peningkatan kemampuan apresiasi cerita anak siswa dengan penerapan media literacy cloud. Metode quasi- eksperimental dipilih dengan desain nonequiavlent control group design. Sampel yang terlibat adalah 50 siswa kelas empat di sebuah sekolah dasar daerah Manonjaya. Pengumpulan data diperoleh pada tes hasil belajar yang diberikan sebelum (prates) dan setelah (pascates) pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan apresiasi cerita anak di kedua kelas yang dianalisis menggunakan tes N-Gain Score. Kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media literacy cloud memperoleh skor rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 61,25 dengan kategori cukup efektif, sementara kelas kontrol hanya mencapai rata-rata 27,60 dengan kategori tidak efektif. Berdasarkan temuan ini, ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pemanfaatan media literacy cloud efektif dalam peningkatan kemampuan apresiasi cerita anak siswa kelas empat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran Pop- Up Book 3 Dimensions berbasis Augmented Reality pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di Kelas V yang telah teruji kelayakan oleh validator ahli dan efektivitas serta praktikalitasnya berdasarkan respon tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau R&D Dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Media Pop-Up Book 3 Dimensions berbasis Augmented Reality ini dikembangkan lalu diuji kelayakan oleh ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media kemudian dilanjutkan uji efektivitas serta uji kepraktisan. Hasil uji kelayakan diperoleh rata-rata persentase penilaian oleh ahli materi sebesar 87,6% dengan kategori “sangat layak”, ahli media 95% dengan kategori “sangat layak”, ahli bahasa 100% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Efektivitas media diperoleh dari hasil belajar siswa melalui perhitungan N-Gain dengan rata-rata 0,7152 menempatkan rata-rata dengan kategori efektivitas “Tinggi”. Pada ranah afektif perolehan nilai siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book 3 Dimensions berbasis Augmented Reality dikategorikan masuk kepada kategori A (Sangat Baik) dengan rata-rata persentase 87,8 serta hasil perhitungan Ngain dengan rata-rata 0,74 menempatkan rata-rata dengan kategori efektivitas “Tinggi” Penilaian ranah psikomotorik memperoleh rata-rata 96,8 dengan kategori A (Sangat Baik). Pengujian hipotesis memperoleh nilai Zhitung < Ztabel yaitu -4,63 < -1,96 dengan Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05. Menyimpulkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa media Pop-Up Book 3 Dimensions berbasis Augmented Reality pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dinyatakan layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 060969 Medan Belawan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe efforts to improve students’ mathematical reasoning ability on trigonometry material through the application of the Discovery Learning model. The research was motivated by the low mathematical reasoning ability of tenth-grade students at SMA Dwijwndra Mataram, as indicated by low learning mastery and passive student participation. This study employed a qualitative-quantitative approach using Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 13 tenth-grade students. The instruments used were mathematical reasoning tests and observation sheets for teacher and student activities. The results show that the Discovery Learning model effectively improves students’ mathematical reasoning ability, as indicated by an increase in classical mastery learning to 90% in the second cycle. Teacher and student activities also improved into the good category. Therefore, Discovery Learning is effective in enhancing students’ mathematical reasoning abilities in trigonometry learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Pancasila Education in increasing the political participation of first-time voters in the 2024 regional elections at SMK Negeri 1 Ranah Batahan. The background of this study is the low political awareness among first-time voters and the limited implementation of the Pancasila Education curriculum, which is not fully contextualized. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants included the Civics teacher, the principal, the curriculum representative, the student affairs representative, the guidance and counseling teacher, and grade 11 and 12 students. The results indicate that Pancasila Education contributes to increasing students' understanding of their rights and obligations as citizens and the importance of political participation. However, several obstacles were identified, such as limited learning time, a lack of political material in the curriculum, and low student interest due to environmental influences. This study proposes strengthening the curriculum content and collaboration between schools and election organizers as strategies to increase the political awareness of first-time voters.

Abstract

This study conducts an in-depth comparison between animal communication systems and the unique generative capacity of human language, utilizing Charles Hockett's design features as the primary analytical framework. The main focus of this study is to differentiate the qualitative boundary between instinctive signaling behavior and the mechanisms of language underpinned by complex cognitive processes, such as ostension and inference. A qualitative, interdisciplinary literature review approach was used to gain a comprehensive understanding. The findings indicate that while animal communication can be structured (such as the honeybee waggle dance or primate alarm calls) it generally fails to meet universal linguistic features like duality of patterning, unlimited productivity, and displacement. Human language, conversely, relies on recursive and abstract syntactic principles, allowing for the expression of limitless ideas, complex temporal meanings, and cultural transmission that transcends immediate biological needs. Thus, this research concludes that the human language capacity represents a significant evolutionary leap in cognitive architecture, fundamentally positioning human language on a qualitatively different plane compared to communication in non-human species.
