Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the role of school supervisors as educational supervisors at TK Pembina Pandeglang. Supervisors have a crucial responsibility in ensuring the quality of teaching, improving teachers’ professionalism, and implementing educational policies at the school level. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interview, and documentation techniques involving principals, teachers, and supervisors. The results indicate that supervisors play a strategic role in three main aspects: (1) planning supervision based on school needs; (2) conducting academic supervision that promotes teacher, reflection and collaboration; and (3) following up supervision through continuous guidance. These roles significantly contribute to improving the quality of learning and fostering a professional culture at TK Pembina Pandeglang.

Abstract

This paper explores the concept of "Islam Berkemajuan for World Civilization," emphasizing the dynamic and progressive interpretation of Islam. It argues that Islam, as a religion, not only serves as a guide for personal spirituality but also as a powerful tool for contributing to the development of a more just and sustainable global civilization. The paper outlines four key aspects of this concept: the dynamic interpretation of Islam, the focus on real-world contributions (amal usaha), the universal values of Islam, and its global role in shaping world civilization. By integrating traditional Islamic principles with contemporary challenges, Islam Berkemajuan offers solutions to modern issues such as social inequality, environmental degradation, and global conflicts. The paper concludes by emphasizing the importance of Islam's active role in fostering global peace, justice, and development.

Abstract

This study explores the history, social, and political perspectives of Islamic law and education. The main objective of this research is to examine the sources of Islamic law, including the Qur'an, Hadith, ijma' (consensus), and qiyas (analogy), and their application in different Islamic schools of thought. A qualitative descriptive approach is adopted, employing literature review techniques to gather data from books, articles, and classical and contemporary references on Islamic law. The collected data is analyzed descriptively to provide an in-depth understanding of the concepts of Islamic law and its implementation in societal life. A comparative analysis is also used to examine the application of Islamic law across various schools of thought, such as Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali. The research emphasizes the theoretical discussion on the sources of Islamic law and their role in addressing contemporary issues. Although the scope of this research is limited to the application of Islamic law in certain countries, it provides valuable insights into the dynamics and relevance of Islamic law in facing modern challenges.Keywords: Islamic law, Qur'an, Hadith, ijma', qiyas, Islamic jurisprudence

Abstract

One of the essential elements in Islamic education is learning evaluation, which serves to assess students’ overall development in cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects. From an Islamic point of view, evaluation is not merely regarded as a process of measuring students’ academic performance but also as a tool for cultivating morality and assessing the continuity of the learning process. Using a literature review approach based on classical tafsir works, this study aims to examine the concept of learning evaluation derived from the Qur’an and Hadith, particularly through the values of hisāb (accountability), muhāsabah (self-evaluation), honesty, responsibility, and sincerity of intention, In the Islamic perspective, evaluation is continuous and encompasses not only the assessment of outcomes but also the evaluation of students’ integrity, behaviour, and learning processes, as demonstrated through the analysis of the literature. The Qur’anic concept of trials and divine observation indicates that every human action is monitored and recorded. Consequently, educators in Islamic education are expected to implement assessments that are fair, unbiased, and holistic, The Hadith of the Prophet highlights the significance of intention and moral accountability, providing a spiritual dimension that distinguishes Islamic educational assessment from secular perspectives. The findings of this study reveal that learning evaluation grounded in Qur’anic values has the potential to enhance students’ character, strengthen their self-awareness, and foster intrinsic motivation toward learning. Therefore, educators should incorporate spiritual and ethical principles into assessment instruments to ensure that the learning process becomes more meaningful, holistic, and aligned with the moral goals of Islamic education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article examines the philosophical foundations of education proposed by Ki Hadjar Dewantara and Tan Malaka within the context of Indonesian national education. The study employs a qualitative literature-based approach focusing on ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions. To strengthen the analysis, the discussion is supported by open-access Indonesian scholarly journals that interpret and elaborate Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s educational philosophy. The findings indicate that Ki Hadjar Dewantara conceptualizes education as a cultural and humanistic process aimed at nurturing human dignity and independence, while Tan Malaka views education as a rational and critical instrument for social emancipation. These perspectives demonstrate complementary contributions to the development of a national education system grounded in humanity, rationality, and social justice. Abstract

Differentiated learning is a key approach in the Independent Curriculum (Kulum Merdeka), aimed at meeting the unique learning needs of each student. This approach is designed to address variations among students, including their academic abilities, interests, learning methods, and readiness to receive lessons. This article aims to investigate the understanding, intent, and application of differentiated learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in schools, and their relationship to the spirit of the Independent Curriculum. Through a literature review and descriptive analysis, this study reveals how Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers can create adaptive learning experiences by tailoring materials, stages, and learning outcomes to suit student characteristics. The results of this study indicate that the use of differentiated learning methods in PAI not only deepens understanding of religious concepts but also helps develop religious attitudes, independence, and a sense of responsibility as important skills for students. Therefore, the use of differentiated learning methods aligns with the goals of the Independent Curriculum to create meaningful, relevant, and student-focused learning experiences.

Abstract

Curriculum development in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a central role in determining the quality and direction of Islamic educational institutions. This study aims to analyze the conceptual and implementative dimensions of curriculum development in Islamic education, emphasizing philosophical, psychological, and sociocultural foundations. Using a qualitative descriptive method through literature review, this paper explores the theories of Islamic education scholars and national education policies that influence the development of the PAI curriculum. The results show that the development of the PAI curriculum should integrate religious values with scientific, technological, and social developments to create a holistic educational design. Implementation requires comprehensive strategies involving teachers, institutional policies, and contextual adaptation to students’ needs. This study concludes that curriculum development in Islamic educational institutions must be dynamic, integrative, and oriented toward strengthening students’ faith, morality, and intellectual competence in the era of modernization and Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of QR-Code media as a digital medium for creative poetry writing skills and describe creative poetry writing skills after using QR-Code media as a digital literacy tool for fifth-grade elementary school students. This study applies a descriptive qualitative approach using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and students at SDN 1 Made, Surabaya. The techniques in analyzing data through the stages of data reduction, data presentation in the form of descriptions, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that the use of QR-Code succeeded in creating a more interactive and contextual learning process in the good category, as well as providing a meaningful learning experience. By scanning the QR-Code, students can easily access various learning resources such as poetry examples, writing guides, and inspirational videos, thereby increasing student independence and active participation in the learning process. In addition, by utilizing QR-Code as a digital medium, it has been proven that creative poetry writing skills in terms of word choice, imagery, structure, rhyme, and creativity are in the good category. Students demonstrate creative poetry writing skills in choosing more expressive words, creating strong imaginative images, and producing poems with diverse and deep themes and meanings. Teachers also find it easier to convey material and provide feedback to students thanks to the flexibility offered by this digital QR-Code medium. It is hoped that using QR-Code media will play a role in developing a generation of learners who are literate, creative, and adaptable to technological developments in the digital era.

Abstract

Sistem Ambang Batas Presiden (Presidential Threshold) merupakan salah satu mekanisme penting dalam pemilihan umum di Indonesia yang menentukan syarat dukungan partai politik atau gabungan partai untuk dapat mengajukan pasangan calon presiden dan wakil presiden. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep, dasar hukum, serta implikasi penerapan presidential threshold terhadap dinamika politik dan demokrasi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan yuridis-normatif dan analisis deskriptif, memanfaatkan data dari peraturan perundang-undangan, putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi, serta literatur ilmiah terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa ketentuan ambang batas pencalonan presiden, sebagaimana diatur dalam Undang-Undang Pemilu, bertujuan untuk memperkuat sistem presidensial dan mendorong penyederhanaan partai politik. Namun, penerapannya menimbulkan perdebatan karena dianggap membatasi hak partai politik baru serta mengurangi ruang partisipasi politik. Kesimpulannya, meskipun presidential threshold memiliki fungsi strategis bagi stabilitas pemerintahan, diperlukan evaluasi kebijakan agar mekanisme ini tidak bertentangan dengan prinsip keterbukaan dan inklusivitas demokrasi di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Program Asistensi Mengajar serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar IPA siswa berdasarkan perspektif guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus di SMP Negeri 2 Maesan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur kepada guru IPA dan siswa yang terlibat langsung dalam program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Asistensi Mengajar berhasil meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif, seperti permainan dan video edukasi, yang menggantikan metode ceramah konvensional. Selain itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang variatif meliputi berhasil membuat konsep IPA yang abstrak menjadi lebih mudah dipahami dan menarik bagi siswa. Peningkatan motivasi dibuktikan dengan tingginya antusiasme siswa, partisipasi aktif di kelas, serta peningkatan prestasi akademik yang terlihat dari munculnya kompetisi sehat pada peringkat atas kelas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kehadiran asisten mengajar menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan mendukung yang secara efektif menjembatani kesulitan belajar siswa
