Abstract

The Provision of water for the community, there are some problems and until now can not be overcome completely. Especially in slum areas that are prone to water so that people have difficulty to get water. Many of slums in Kab. Lingga becomes a separate problem for the planning of water supply, from the problem it is designed a system that aims to determine the priority area of water supply by implementation the fuzzy multi criteria decision making method in the planning of the priority area of water supply, obtaining the region with the highest total integral value that is Marok Tua with a value of α0 is 0,34375, α0,5 is 0,51875, α1 is 0,69375.

Abstract

The live fish storege currently is not able to control the pH parameters of the water according to the fishs living environment. pH needs to be considered so that fish can survive. The purpose of this research is to design a system that can control the pH of water in fish hatch using a microcontroller and LabVIEW. The test is carried out on the hatch with dimensions of 90 cm x 65 cm x 50 cm. Monitoring changes in pH values in real time is done through LCD and LabVIEW. This device is equipped with an LED indicator that can indicate the condition of the relay outside of the LaBVIEW software. The difference in sensor readings designed with a standard measuring instrument is only around 0.05. The appearance process of the sensor reading value on the LCD and LabVIEW runs well with a response time reading of about 0.5 seconds and with a response time in controlling the relay about 0.3 seconds. Fish can survive using a control system designed during the testing process within 2x24 hours. The reading value from the sensor will be stored in real time as long as the LabVIEW software runs.

Abstract

Learning processes in the elementary schools at Tanah Laut District is affected by the number of students. Through the number of students can be predicted how much the need of additional teachers, rooms, textbooks and learning medias that support learning processes in the schools. In other words, the infrastructure of the schools can be predicted by the number of students that is registered in Tanah Laut District. The research use Holt’s Double Exponential Smoothing method to predicting the number of the prospective students in Tanah Laut District. Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) technique is used to calculate the percentage of error from the forecasting’s result. The system is designed by Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Data Flow Diagram (DFD). The forecasting that have been done said that the number of Tanah Laut’s elementary school students at 2018 is 35655 students, with the value of MAPE is about 0.77%, α = 0.77 and β = 0.8.

Abstract

Wind is very important role in human life, one of them for fishermen, natural conditions play an important role in the fluency of their activities, especially for the people of Tanjungpinang who lived in coastal areas as fishermen. But it will be a problem if the winds move with high intensity that will impact bad weather. To be able to monitor the movement of wind speed, this study made predictions using the method Self Organizing Maps (SOM) and Radial Basis Function (RBF) to predict wind speed. In this study the data used for daily wind speed prediction starts from January 2014 - October 2017. The results of the tests conducted with the 418 of data, the number of clusters obtained 33 from the training process produce 1,51 of RMSE and 28.98% of MAPE and 71,02% of accuracy.

Abstract

Boat is a type of traditional public transportation of the Indonesian people, especially the people in Penyengat Island, Riau Islands Province. Communities on Penyengat Island have many traditional boats that do not have a Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) for shipping standards. Shipping standards are needed so that the safety factor in sailing is more awake. Sailing safety factors are needed in getting help if an accident on a fishing boat occurs. Delay in help due to ignorance of the information about the accident and the position of the ship that is difficult to detect. Based on the description, it will be appointed a performance study on the design of a hybrid information display system on fishing boats to determine the location of the accident that will be displayed in the form of Google Maps. Google Maps is a digital map service application developed by Google. The combination of Google Maps and the Global Positioning System (GPS) receiving device is a very useful combination. In addition, the hybrid system used is a combination of manual systems in the form of buttons and automatic systems in the form of tilt sensors on the boat. Research results obtained that users can find out the position of objects based on latitude and longitude coordinates displayed using Google Maps.

Abstract

The camera is a popular device and easy to find in every human activities nowadays. The camera is not only known in the world of photography to capture images and video, but more than that. The camera has been used monitoring device that helps human works easier, more effective and more efficient. The camera has been used for security, to monitoring a place, traffic monitoring and other similar function in various sectors of human activity. Even now, the camera has been integrated with computer system and other systems to create a sophisticated automation control and monitoring technology. The purpose of this research is to design an underwater monitoring camera system that can display good quality video of underwater objek which can be displayed and accessed via internet using Youtube application. The main component of this design consists high resolution waterproof camera, microtic device, and computer. The communiction media used to access the internet network of this device uses 3G/LTE cellular signal. This devise produces good quality underwater video. The farther the camera is placed in the sea, the less the lighting and it results blurred image and limited range of vision.

Abstract

The DC motor is one component of robot, the main function of a DC motor is as a driver, whether its a legged robot or not, as used in a mobile robot. DC motor control is necessary to be one thing that must be considered, because if the motor does not run properly, it will renew the purpose of the motor when it is created. The ability to control a DC motor is needed when building a robot. Many things can affect a person’s ability to design DC motor controller, one of which is the development of science, especially computer science, the use of algorithms to achieve the effectiveness of DC motor movements is very necessary today, so that the robot can move well and according to what is desired. The algorithm requires some information from the system that is built either as input or output so that the algorithm can perform the control process properly. in this study the motor speed controller circuit has been designed using transistor IR630 (n-channel mosfet), in this study the motor speed controller circuit has been designed using transistor IR630 (n-channel mosfet), the potentiometer is used as an analog input on the microcontroller and then converted to a PWM signal which will be used as input to the controller circuit to drive a DC motor. In the tests that have been carried out, the results obtained that the motor can be controlled properly, the use of resistors with a certain amount (220 ohms) can increase the resulting motor rotation and at what voltage the motor starts to spin at a voltage of 0.436 volts, and continues to increase and the maximum voltage recorded at 6.40 Volts.

Research results: The results of this study can be used to help improve the knowledge and skills of students and employees of CV Sunvera in using the Sunvera Promotion Website. Conclusion This study only discusses from design to product development, namely the making of learning media applications so that it can facilitate practicum for midwifery students. using the Research and Development method, so that the result is in the form of application development, namely the creation of new products. In the results of this study there are still many shortcomings, therefore improvements will be made in further research.

Abstract

Health Facilities in the Riau Islands Province still not reachable at Riau Islands territorial. Many people still don’t have access to get health. This study aims to convert MV Sabuk Nusantara 48 which operating in Riau Archipelago Area into a Type C Hospital Ship become one of health facilities and able to reach remote islands in The Riau Archipelago. Ship design modification only made on the inside of vessel according to the requirement of Type C hospital without change the Ship structure therefore hydrostatic analysis, machinery, and Ship resistance not have significant deference. The result of the conversion of this ship possible to became a health facility that can accommodate health problems in remote area of the Riau Islands

Abstract

A glass-bottom catamaran is a vessel with two hulls with a layer of glass at the bottom of the boat, allowing passengers to view underwater scenery. This research focused on the planning stage in designing a prototype of a glass bottom catamaran, intending to determine the optimal main dimensions and produce a high-quality vessel. The results showed that determining the main dimensions of the prototype vessel is highly influenced by the aspect ratio, particularly the L/B ratio. This ratio is used as a reference in designing the prototype vessel as it affects vessel parameters such as resistance, maneuverability, and cost. Additionally, dividing the process of manufacturing the prototype vessel into several stages, including conceptual design, system design, structural design, steering system design, and electrical system design, is crucial to ensure the quality and safety of the prototype vessel. The visual depiction of the shape and characteristics of the glass bottom catamaran prototype indicates that the prototype vessel has two demi hulls and an asymmetrical hull shape..
