Abstract

This study aims to explain the characteristics of government policies in Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The research method used is empirical juridical and the procedure for sampling is done by purposive sampling. The results showed that. The role of the camat in the fostering and supervision of village administration in Sungai Gelam Sub-district is based on Article 21 of Government Regulation No. 19/2008 concerning Kecamatan. The sub-district government has a strategy in fostering and overseeing village administration through the mapping of regions or villages that are experiencing difficulties in administering village government administration. Basically, the sub-district government has provided guidance and supervision to the village government, but the details are not included in the work program. This was proven in every 6 months the village government was asked to evaluate the performance so that there were no mistakes. Then always fostering village officials with a pattern when village officials have problems in the field always consult with the head of government. Camat supervision and supervision programs always carry out evaluations in matters of village government administration. So, the implementation of the program is not detailed, but carried out in accordance with the needs that exist in the village government. One of the obstacles to the guidance and supervision of village administration is to improve the ability and inadequate human resources and the lack of staff who have expertise.

Abstract

Health Facilities in the Riau Islands Province still not reachable at Riau Islands territorial. Many people still don’t have access to get health. This study aims to convert MV Sabuk Nusantara 48 which operating in Riau Archipelago Area into a Type C Hospital Ship become one of health facilities and able to reach remote islands in The Riau Archipelago. Ship design modification only made on the inside of vessel according to the requirement of Type C hospital without change the Ship structure therefore hydrostatic analysis, machinery, and Ship resistance not have significant deference. The result of the conversion of this ship possible to became a health facility that can accommodate health problems in remote area of the Riau Islands

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang masih menggunakan metode ceramah serta kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran menyebabkan rendahnya motivasi peserta didik dalam belajar dan kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang diajarkan, terutama dalam topik sistem pendingin mesin pada mata pelajaran perawatan mesin sepeda motor kelas 11 TSM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media video yang dapat membantu guru meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menerapkan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran adalah pilihan yang tepat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil validasi dari validator materi yang mendapatkan persentase 90% dengan kategori "sangat layak," serta hasil validasi dari validator media dengan persentase 87% dengan kategori "sangat layak." Selain itu, uji lapangan kepada peserta didik mendapatkan persentase 82% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. The implementation of teaching that still relies on lecture-based methods and the limited use of instructional media has resulted in low student motivation and difficulties in comprehending the material taught, particularly in the topic of engine cooling systems in the 11th-grade Motorcycle Engine Maintenance subject. This research aims to develop a video-based media to assist teachers in enhancing the effectiveness of the learning process. The study utilizes the research and development (R&D) method, applying the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research findings indicate that video-based learning is a suitable choice for the teaching process. This is supported by the validation results from content validators, which achieved a 90% rating in the "highly feasible" category, as well as validation results from media validators, receiving an 87% rating in the "highly feasible" category. Furthermore, the field test with students resulted in an 82% rating in the "highly feasible" category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis kualitas soal ujian akhir semester genap pada mata pelajaran PKKR di SMKN 5 Padang tahun ajran 2021/2022. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal ujian akhir semester genap pada mata pelajaran PKKR pada kelas XI TKRO di SMKN 5 Padang tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dilihat dari segi materi, konstruksi dan bahasa serta dilihat dari segi validasi, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda dan fungsi pengecoh. Jenis dari penelitian ini adalah penelitian kombinasi yang menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TKRO SMKN 5 Padang sebanyak 50 siswa, dimana yang akan menjadi objek penelitian adalah soal ujian akhir semester genap mata pelajaran PKKR. Hasil penelitian dari segi kualitatif mendapatkan kategori baik di bidang bahasa dan materi. Dari segi kuantitatif didapat kesimpulan 12 butir soal sangat baik dapat disimpan di bank soal, 13 butir soal revisi sesuai dengan kelemahan soal dan 5 sebaiknya diganti soal baru. This research discusses the analysis of the quality of final even semester exam questions in the PKKR subject at SMKN 5 Padang for the 2021/2022 academic year. The aim of this research is to determine the quality of the final even semester exam questions in the PKKR subject in class and distractor function. This type of research is a combination research that uses quantitative and qualitative methods. The sample from this research was 50 students in class The results of the research from a qualitative perspective received good categories in the fields of language and material. From a quantitative perspective, it was concluded that 12 questions were very good and could be stored in the question bank, 13 questions were revised according to the weaknesses of the questions and 5 questions should be replaced with new questions.

Abstract

Ketiadaan media pembelajaran dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan menghambat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk membuat sebuah media video yang dapat membantu para pendidik dalam meningkatkan efisiensi proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan, dengan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film instruksional merupakan pilihan yang optimal untuk diintegrasikan ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini didukung oleh, uji praktikalitas kepada peserta didik mendapatkan persentase 85% dengan kategori “Praktis”. Dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 87 orang dan sampel keseluruhan dari jumlah populasi yaitu 87 orang. Dapat disimpulkan video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat dikategorikan valid dan praktis. Sehingga dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dan diharapkan dapat membantu pendidik dan peserta didik agar dapat secara mandiri menguasai materi pembelajaran. This is supported by the practicality test on students getting a percentage of 85% in the "Practical" category. With a population of 87 people and a total sample of the population of 87 people. It can be concluded that the learning videos developed can be categorized as valid and practical. So that they can be used in learning, and it is hoped that they can help educators and students to independently master the learning material.

Abstract

Mahasiswa kesulitan memahami informasi yang disajikan pada saat perkuliahan, karena diajarkan melalui metode ceramah dan kurang menggunakan media pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat video pembelajaran sebagai salah satu bentuk media yang dapat membantu mahasiswa belajar lebih efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R & D dengan menerapkan model 4-D (define, design, development and disseminate). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan video pembelajaran merupakan pilihan yang baik dan cocok untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil verifikasi dari validator materi dengan skor 90,65% pada kriteria sangat valid dan validator media dengan skor 86,6% pada kriteria valid. Selain itu, uji praktikalitas juga memberikan mahasiswa dengan nilai 91,70% pada kriteria sangat praktis. Video pembelajaran yang dihasilkan dapat dikategorikan layak dan bermanfaat untuk digunakan dalam dunia pendidikan. Students have difficulty understanding the information presented during lectures because it is taught through the lecture method and does not use enough learning media. The aim of this research is to create learning videos as a form of media that can help students learn more efficiently. This research uses the R & D method by applying the 4-D model (define, design, development and disseminate). The test results show that learning videos are a good choice and suitable for use in the learning process. This is reinforced by the verification results from material validators with a score of 90.65% in the very valid criteria and media validators with a score of 86.6% in the valid criteria. Apart from that, the practicality test also gave students a score of 91.70% in the very practical criteria. The resulting learning videos can be categorized as useful for use in the world of education.

Abstract

Keterbatasan jumlah dan kualitas media pembelajaran dalam pendidikan menghambat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah video pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D), dengan partisipasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan mahasiswa yang mengambil matakuliah teknologi pengkondisian udara di Universitas Negeri Padang dengan jumlah 75 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian ini mencakup penggunaan kuisioner atau angket yang diisi oleh para ahli untuk mengevaluasi validitas media yang dikembangkan, serta oleh mahasiswa untuk menilai praktikalitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis deskriptif, dan respons dari peserta dikonversi menjadi nilai berdasarkan skala Likert. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan masuk dalam kategori valid dan praktis, sehingga dapat efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran di dalam atau di luar kelas oleh individu. The limited number and quality of learning media in education hinders students' understanding of the material being taught. This research aims to develop a learning video that can support educators in the learning process. The research method used was research and development (R&D), with the participation of material experts, media experts, and 75 students taking air conditioning technology courses at Padang State University. This research instrument includes the use of questionnaires filled out by experts to convey the validity of the media being developed, as well as by students to assess its practicality. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis methods, and responses from participants were converted into scores based on a Likert scale. The evaluation results show that the media developed is in the valid and practical category, so that it can be effectively used in learning inside or outside the classroom by individuals.

Abstract

Studi ini meneliti dampak penggunaan bahan bakar alternatif terhadap emisi kendaraan roda dua, karena peningkatan jumlah kendaraan di Indonesia yang berkontribusi terhadap polusi udara. Penelitian ini membandingkan emisi Honda Vario 110 PGM-FI yang menggunakan bahan bakar pertalite dan LPG. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen statistik deskriptif dua tahap. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gas LPG mengurangi emisi secara signifikan. Emisi CO dan CO2 tidak terdeteksi saat menggunakan LPG, sedangkan penggunaan pertalite menghasilkan rata-rata emisi CO 0,14% dan CO2 1,13%. Emisi HC untuk LPG sedikit lebih tinggi (46,33 ppm) dibandingkan pertalite (41,33 ppm). Kesimpulannya, LPG menunjukkan potensi besar dalam mengurangi emisi gas berbahaya pada sepeda motor, membuka peluang untuk pengembangan transportasi yang lebih berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan. This study investigates the impact of using alternative fuels on emissions from two-wheeled vehicles, prompted by the increasing number of vehicles in Indonesia that contribute to air pollution. The aim of this research is to compare the emissions from the use of pertalite and LPG fuels in the Honda Vario 110 FI. The method employed in this study is an experimental approach, analyzing data using descriptive statistics in two stages. The results indicate that using LPG significantly reduces emissions. CO and CO2 emissions were not detected when using LPG, whereas using pertalite resulted in average emissions of 0.14% CO and 1.13% CO2. The HC emissions for LPG were slightly higher (46.33 ppm) compared to pertalite (41.33 ppm). In conclusion, LPG demonstrates significant potential in reducing harmful gas emissions from motorcycles, offering opportunities for developing more sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation.

Abstract

Sepeda motor matic injeksi telah menjadi pilihan populer di Indonesia, namun performa mesinnya dapat menurun seiring waktu, terutama pada kondisi sistem Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan roller tipe sliding dan modifikasi drive pulley terhadap daya dan torsi. Menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan objek Honda Beat FI 2016, hasil menunjukkan roller tipe sliding dengan drive pulley standar menghasilkan performa terbaik, dengan rerata daya 5,04 kW dan torsi 7,06 Nm. Kombinasi roller tipe sliding dengan drive pulley modifikasi menunjukkan puncak daya 5,95 kW dan torsi 9,43 Nm, meskipun rerata terendah. Disimpulkan modifikasi sistem CVT dapat meningkatkan performa, namun memerlukan optimasi cermat untuk menyeimbangkan performa puncak dan konsistensi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pengembangan sistem CVT pada sepeda motor matic injeksi. Fuel-injected automatic motorcycles have become a popular choice in Indonesia, but their engine performance can decline over time, mainly due to the condition of the Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) system. This study aims to analyze the effect of using sliding-type rollers and modifying the drive pulley on power and torque in fuel-injected automatic motorcycles. Using an experimental method with the Honda Beat FI 2016 as the research object, the results show that sliding-type rollers with a standard drive pulley produced the best overall performance, with an average power of 5.04 kW and an average torque of 7.06 Nm. The combination of sliding-type rollers with a modified drive pulley showed a peak power of 5.95 kW and a peak torque of 9.43 Nm, although with the lowest average. It was concluded that modifications to the CVT system can improve engine performance, but require careful optimization to balance peak performance and consistency. This research provides valuable insights for the development of the CVT system in fuel-injected automatic motorcycles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan media video pembelajaran yang memenuhi kriteria validitas dan kepraktisan guna mendukung proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Teknik Pengkondisian Udara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan model penelitian 4D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa media video pembelajaran yang telah di validasi oleh validator materi dan validator media serta praktikalitas media diuji melalui penerapan pada mahasiswa. Penilaian dari validator materi mendapatkan nilai 96% pada klasifikasi sangat valid dan hasil penilaian dari validator media mendapatkan nilai 94,4% pada klasifikasi sangat valid juga. Selain itu, uji praktikalitas mahasiswa yang dilakukan kepada 30 orang responden mendapatkan nilai 87% pada klasifikasi praktis. Jadi, dapat di ambil kesimpulan video pembelajaran yang peneliti kembangkan sangat valid dan praktis digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang cara kerja AC mobil. This research focuses on developing learning video media that meets the criteria of validity and practicality to support the learning process in Air Conditioning Engineering course. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with a 4D research model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). The results of this study are the form of learning video media that have been validated by the material validator and media validator and the practicality of the media is tested through application to students. The assessment from the material validator got a score 96% in the very valid classification and the results of the assessment from the media validator got a score of 94.4% in the very valid classification as well. In addition, the student practicality test conducted on 30 respondents got a score of 87% in the practical classification. So, it can be concluded that the learning video that the researcher developed is very valid and practical to use to improve understanding of how car AC works.
