Abstract

There are several factors that become obstacles to the sustainability of cultivation, one of which is the growth factor. Growth is closely related to spacing and methods. This study aims to determine the optimal Spacing for the Growth Rate of K. alvarezii Using the Off-bottom Method. This research was conducted on November 1, 2020 to December 16, 2020 for 45 days with an acclimatization period of 3 days in Berakit Village, Teluk Sebong District, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province. The method used was experimental with a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Where A: 10 cm spacing, B: 15 cm spacing, C: 20 cm spacing, D: 25 cm spacing and E: 30 cm spacing. Data analysis using ANOVA test of variance showed a specific growth rate of 6.36±0.006 %/day), the absolute weight of K. alvarezii was 267.83±0.25 g. and absolute growth of K. alvarezii 167.83±0.25 g. The results obtained indicate that treatment D is the best treatment for growth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the dosage of different papain enzymes in trash feed to increase the survival and seed growth of Napoleon Cheilinus undulates fish. This research was conducted in December 2019 - January 2020 at the Napoleon fish rearing location in Kiabu Village, South Siantan, Anambas Islands Regency. The method used was experimental with a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Where K: without the enzyme, A: 6% the enzyme papain, B 7% the enzyme papain, C: 9% the enzyme papain. Data analysis using One-Way ANOVA and Duncan's Test. Showed the best growth was obtained in treatment C (administration of 9% papain enzyme) with the results of absolute weight growth of ((0.329 ± 0.020g) and survival (100 ± 0.00%) The results showed that 9% C treatment was the best treatment for growth.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to evaluate the influence of depth on the growth of seaweed K. alvarezii. This research was conducted on 21 November 2020 – 04 January 2021 for 45 days with 3 days acclimatization in Berakit Village, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province. The method used is experimental with a complete randomized design (RAL) with 3 treatments and 3 repeats. Analysis of ANOVA data using JASP application shows that depth of 25cm or A treatment is the best result compared to other treatments. Results obtained at the specific growth rate of K. alvarezii seaweed amounted to (6.74 ± 0.01 % / day), the absolute weight of K. alvarezii seaweed amounted to (283.24 ± 0.44 g). and the absolute growth of K. alvarezii seaweed by (183.24 ± 0.44 g). The results showed that treatment A is the best treatment for growth

Abstract

Sargassum sp. is a natural ingredient that can be used to improve the health status of fish. This study aims to test the extract concentration of Sargassum sp. which is mixed into commercial feed against the hematological profile of star pomfret. This research was conducted in September - November 2020. The process of extraction and toxicity tests was carried out at the Marine Chemistry Laboratory FIKP, then in-vivo tests were carried out in Madong Village, Kampung Bugis Village. The fish blood profiles were analyzed at the Marine Biotechnology Laboratory FIKP. The research method used was experimental using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications, namely control (0 ppm extract of Sargassum sp. + feed), treatment A (38 ppm extract of Sargassum sp. + feed), treatment B (58 ppm extract of Sargassum sp. + feed), and treatment C (78 ppm extract of Sargassum sp. + feed). The results showed that the highest hematocrit value was 54.65%, the highest lymphocyte percentage was 87.67%, the highest monocyte percentage was 6.00%, and the highest neutrophil percentage was 7.33%. Provision of SargassumExtract sp.. at a dose of 58 ppm through commercial feed has an effect on the hematocrit value and the percentage of lymphocytes but does not have an effect on the percentage of monocytes and neutrophils in pomfret fish

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the administration of Kepok banana peel extract with different concentrations against the differential of white snapper (Lates calcarifer) seed leucocytes. Maintenance was carried out for 23 days at HSRT Maju Mandiri Madong Village, Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands Province. The production of banana peel extract takes place at the Marine Chemistry Laboratory of the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Sciences, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University. This research was conducted experimentally by testing the extract of the banana peel of the white snapper. This study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments (0 ppm, 0.5 ppm, 0.9 ppm, and 1.3 ppm) 3 replications. The results of this study showed that Kepok banana peel extract had a significant effect on the percentage of lymphocytes, neutrophils and hematocrit values ​​but had no significant effect on the growth and survival of white snapper fry. The use of Kepok banana peel extract mixed in the feed has a significant effect on the leucocyte differential, namely the percentage of lymphocytes and neutrophils in the white snapper fry. The best percentage of lymphocytes and neutrophils was in treatment C, with values ​​of 75.67% and 12.33% in white snapper fry.

Abstract

Research on the Blood Profile of White Snapper Fish Lates calcalifer Feed Containing Gracilaria sp.. conducted to test materials that have the ability to stimulate hematocrit and differential leukocytes. One of the ingredients contained in Gracilaria sp. is the presence of sulfate polysaccharides. This research was conducted in November 2020. The maintenance of test fish was carried out in floating net cages in Madong Village, Bugis Village, and blood tests were carried out at theLaboratory Marine Biotechnology, Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University. This research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 4 treatments and 3 replications, with treatment K (Feeding without the addition of Gracilaria sp.), A (Feed with Gracilaria sp. 15 gram / kg of feed), B (Feed with flour of Gracilaria sp. 20 grams / kg of feed), and C (feed with Gracilaria sp. 25 grams / kg of feed). White snapper was fed at satiation treatment 2 times a day for 14 days. The results showed that Gracilaria sp. In feed, it has a significant effect on hematocrit and differential of lymphocyte type leukocytes in white snapper, but does not have a significant effect on monocytes and neutrophils of white snapper.

Abstract

Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) is a type of herbal ingredient that contains sineol compounds and phenylpropane derivatives. Phenylpropane is an aromatic compound that is antifungal and toxic to ectoparasites. This study aims to test the concentration of ginger solution against Hirudinea leeches in grouper fish. This research was conducted in February 2021 in the village of Tanjung continued. The identification of ectoparasites was carried out at the Marine Biotechnologt Laboratory FIKP. The method used in this study was analyzed using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications with a concentration of 0%, 0.4%, 0.5% and 0.6%. The results showed that the type of ectoparasites that infested grouper fish was the Zeylanicobdella sp. and the results obtained from observations of ectoparasite reduction at 30 minutes were the highest in treatment C, the concentration of ginger sea was 0.6% with a decrease intensity of 0.33% individuals / head which was categorized as low.

Abstract

This research was held at BBI Pengujan for 10 day.The purpose of this research was to determined the effect of different oil addition on water surface and the best oil typef or barramundi larval survival rate. the experiment design was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatment and 3 replication; without oil addition (A); 0,3 ml/m2 of squid oil (B); 0,3 ml/m2 coconut oil (C) and 0,3 ml/m2 at palm oil (D). The datas was obtained with One-Way ANOVA. The best resolt was treatmen with addition 0,3 ml/m2 at coconut oil (C), the survival rate was 27,87 %, absolute and while for the abnormality was not different significant for all treatment. The lowest abnormality was B treatment with 1,36%.

Abstract

Ikan Kakap putih Lates calcarifer merupakan salah satu jenis ikan air laut yang banyak diminati masyarakat dan mempunyai nilai ekonomis yang tinggi sehingga banyak dibudidayakan. Pertumbuhan ikan dipengaruhi oleh penyerapan pakan, maka untuk menambah kinerja penyerapan pakan secara maksimal dan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan kakap putih perlu suatu suplemen yang dicampurkan dalam pakan salah satunya adalah kunyit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung kunyit terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan ikan kakap putih. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada April - Mei 2021 di Kampung Madong, Kecamatan Kampung Bugis, Kota Tanjungpinang, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan 4 perlakuan 3 kali ulangan, yaitu perlakuan K tanpa penambahan kunyit, Perlakuan A penambahan kunyit 10 g/kg pakan, perlakuan B penambahan kunyit 15 g/kg pakan, dan perlakuan C penambahan kunyit 20 g/kg pakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perlakuan terbaik adalah pada perlakuan C, dengan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 4,46 cm, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 17,49 g, dan efesiensi pakan 38,59 %. Sehingga pada penelitian ini dosis terbaik penambahan kunyit dalam pakan adalah 15 g/kg pakan untuk pertumbuhan ikan kakap putih

Abstract

This research was carried out on April - June 2021 at the Pengujan Fish Seed Center, Teluk Bintan Districts, Bintan Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the best percentage of water change for the survival rate of barramundi larvae. This research was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design method (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications consisting of: (1) K (without water change), (2) A (20% water change), (3) B (25% water change) and (4) C (30% water change). The results showed that the optimal percentages of water change was treatments A with a larval survival rate of 19,87±1,00% and a larval absolute length growth of 0,23±0,03 mm.
