Abstract

This research was done to investigate the growth rate and feed convertion ratio of Monopterus albus fed with various live foods in water medium. This research was done on June – July 2010 in Laboratory D3 Fisheries, Biology Faculty, UNSOED. The research was used experiment method based on Completely Randomized Designed with four treatment (Tubifex, cricket, yellow meal worm and pellet), and four repliacates. Data were analysed by ANOVA and the variables observed were absolute growth rate, specific growth rate, feed convertion ratio and survival rate. The results for the provision of tubifex worms, crickets, and the pellet was Tenebrio molitor is absolute growth rate of 7.48 ± 1.29 g, 4.52 ± 0.59 g, 5.08 g ± 1.37 and -0.62 ± 0, 79 g, specific growth rate of 0.18% ± 1.09, 0.75 ±0.08%, 0.76 ± 0.18% and -0.15 ± 0.16% , feed conversion ratio of 2.23 ± 0.21, 3.55 ± 0.54, 3.13 ± 0.4 and -6.37 ± 8.7 and survival rate of 91.68%, 95.83%, 83 , 35% and 95.83%. Water quality parameter for temperature 24–280C, water pH 6, Dissolved Oxygen 2,72–0,54 mg/L and ammonia 1,32–4,36 mg/L.

Abstract

Gray eeltailed catfish is one of the local commodities in the Riau Islands. Domestication and aquaculture has not been done. Reproduction is one of problems in the Aquaculture effort. Gonadal maturity is stage preparation of the prospective parent for spawning process. One of efforts to gonad maturation is hormonal induction. This study purpose to determine effect of various brands hCG hormones on gonad maturity and determine the best hCG hormone brands that can accelerate the maturity of gonad fish crossing optimally. The research design was a completely randomized design with 5 treatments (hCG Polaris hormone, hCG sifation, hCG Chorullon, Oodev and NaCl solvent with 3 replications. The best hCG hormone is the hCG Polaris hormone reaching gonad maturation II. The best Treatment were the Oodev hormone treatment (gonadosomatic index (0.54 ± 0.19%), gonadal maturity level (gonad 3), egg diameter (0.54 ± 0.19 mm)

Abstract

The aims of the study was to determine the effect of recombinant growth hormone (rGH) on the growth of Silver pompano (Trachinotus blochii). This research was conducted using Complete Random Device) design experimentation i.e. control (non rGH), A (2 mg.kg-1), B (of 3 mg.kg-1), and C (4 mg.kg-1) of feed dry wieght (w/w) by four individual restating (each test 15 fish). Several parameter was observeb included absolute Growth, Specific Growth, feed convertion ratio, survival rate, mortality and water quality (DO, pH, temperature and salinity). The results showed that treatment C resulting an absolute growth of 19.9 g with a specific growth 0.71 g/ day). Feed convertion ratio was 5.8 while survival rate was 16.67% and Mortality reached 83.33 %. Results The analysis of water quality parameters are range DO (5.2-7.1mg L-1), salinity (25-28 ppt), pH (6.8-7.1) and temperature (30-31.2° C). Abstract

This study aimed to determine the optimum dose of hCGto support the processing gonadal maturation of Gray Eeltailed Catfish (Plotosus canius) and to determine influencing  of hCG injections treatment (quality and quantity) to TKG of Gray Eeltailed Catfish (Plotosus canius). The study was conducted in October-November 2018 in Madong, Tanjungpinang City, Riau Island. This study used a completely randomized design (RAL) method with 4 treatments that were control (NaCl), A (dose 15 IU.Kg-1), B (dose 20 IU.Kg-1), and C (dose 25 IU.Kg-1) and 3 replications. Floating net cages (KJA) with size 1mx1mx1m as containers were used to maintain test fish. The results showed that treatment B gave the best results in the study. Treatment B namely injecting hCG with a dose of 20 IU.Kg-1 to reach TKG II for the whole parent, then GSI reached 0.29%, but the HSI value of A treatment was better on 1.93%, egg diameter 1.57 mm, fecundity reached 3,706 grains, with specific growth reaching 0.83 g and histologically, the gonads were characterized by the potential for a fused nucleus and filled with egg yolk and the development of the oocyte only appears smaller and more uniform in diameter. Keyword: oocyte, female, diameter, fecundity, histology

Abstract

Penelitian maturasi belut sawah (Monopterus albus) dengan Hormone human Chorionic Gonadotropin dan antidopamin dilakukan di Kolam Percobaan Babakan, Institut Pertanian Bogor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh hormon hCG dan kombinasinya terhadap maturasi belut sawah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode ekperimental secara Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan kontrol (NaCl), hCG (dosis 20 IU/kg), antidopamin (AD) (dosis 0,01 mg/kg), dan hCG+AD (dosis 20 IU+0,01 mg/kg) dengan tujuh ulangan individu. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan ANOVA. Parameter uji pada penelitian ini di antaranya adalah konsentrasi estradiol-17β, gonado somatik index (GSI), hepatosomatik index (HSI), histologi gonad, tingkat kematangan gonad, diameter telur, tingkat kebuntingan, dan kualitas air (oksigen terlarut (DO), pH, amoniak, dan suhu). Hasil terbaik pada akhir penelitian ini adalah perlakuan hCG+AD dengan nilai konsentrasi estradiol-17β (13,63-95,49 pg/mL), GSI (1,25%), HSI (1,53%), TKG (IV), diameter telur (0,88 mm), dan tingkat kebuntingan (85,71%). Perlakuan kontrol dan antidopamin tidak berpengaruh dan hanya mampu mencapai tingkat kematangan gonad I. Hasil analisis parameter kualitas air adalah berkisar DO (5,32-5,58 mg/L), amoniak (0,558-0,978 mg/L), pH (6,06-6,36), dan suhu (27,80oC-27,94oC). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa hCG dapat menginduksi pematangan gonad belut sawah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh hormon hCG Chorullon, hCG Polaris, WOFA-FH, Ovaprim terhadap keberhasilan pemijahan dan waktu latensi pemijahan ikan Bawal Bintang (Trachinotus blochii). Waktu dan tempat penelitian adalah bulan Juli  - Agustus tahun 2018 di Balai Benih Ikan Pengujan. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 perlakuan (hormon WOFA-FH, hCG Chorullon, hCG Polaris dan Ovaprim) dan 4 ulangan pemijahan. Hasil penelitian parameter persentase keberhasilan pemijahanwaktu latensi dan fekunditasadalah hCG Chorullon (100%, 14,5jam dan ±569,730 telur), Ovaprim (75%, 14 jam dan ±372,180 telur), WOFA-FH (100%, 13,3 jam dan ±731,400 telur) dan hCG Polaris (50%, 14,3 jam da ±816,990 telur). Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kematangan gonad, nilai gonadosomatik dan hepatosomatik indeks ikan sembilang di Perairan Teluk Pulau Bintan, Propinsi Kepulauan Riau. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan bulan Agustus tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei lapang di teluk pulau Bintan dengan jumlah sampel 30 ekor setiap stasiun (total jumlah ikan sebanyak 120 ekor). Parameter penelitian adalah bobot tubuh, panjang, gonadosomatik indeks, hepatosomatik indeks dan tingkat kematangan gonad. Hasil penelitian tingkat kematangan gonad, gonadosomatik, dan hepatosomatik indeks adalah teluk kampong bugis (TKG I-III, 0.21%, 1.45%), Madong (TKG 0-III, 0,75%, 1.33%), Tembeling (TKG I-III, 0,48%, 1,42%), Dompak (TKG 0-II, 0.18%, 1.08%) dan Pengujan (TKG 0-III, V, 0.38%, 1.35%)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best feeding rate (FR) in increasing feed efficiency and growth of Chopped grouper and to determine the efficiency and growth of Chopped grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus x Epinephelus lanceolatus). This research was conducted in February-March 2020 for 42 days at the Household Scale Hatchery of the Marin Agri Sejahtera Cooperative, Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands. The method used was experimental with a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications where K treatment (15% trash feed), A treatment (10% trash feed), B treatment (20% trash feed), treatment C (feeding 25% trash feed). The results of the study, through statistical analysis, showed that the papain enzyme dose was able to have a very significant effect.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of appropriate feeding time for the growth of Chopped Grouper Fish (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus x Epinephelus lanceolatus). This research was conducted from March to April 2020 for 42 days at Madong village, silver pompano culture group, Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands Province. The methodology used in this research was experimental with a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 4 replications, which the T1: fed daily  T2: 1 day given food 1 day of fasting. T3: 2 days given food, 1 day of fasting. Analysis of the data using One-Way ANOVA showed that the best absolute weight growth was found in T1 treatment of (29.13 ± 1.07 g), daily growth (SGR) (0.69 ± 0.03 cm). The results obtained indicate that T1 treatment is the best treatment for growth
