Abstract

Many teachers are very rare and never even use the school environment as a source of learning. This study was designed in the form of a School Action Research which consists of two cycles. The subjects of this study are teachers of SDN 03 in Gugus14 District Kabawetan Kepahiang Regency. From the results of the research implementation obtained the following data: In the first cycle the average attitude of teachers discuss discussion is 70.4 up in the second cycle to 78.8, the average value of learning scenarios in the first cycle is 67.8 up on cycle II to 80, the average value of the implementation of learning in the first cycle that is 71.84 up on the second cycle to 80.8. This means that coaching and guidance through teacher work group discussion approach can improve teachers' ability in utilizing school environment as a learning resource.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between headmasterleadership style and organization climate to the teacher of elementary school. The method of thisresearchuses descriptive quantitative study, data analysis techniques used SPSS 16.0 version byusing quality test and classic assumtion test. After doing research and done t test obtainedconclusion that there is significant and positive relationship between headmaster’s leadership styleith the teachers performance, while there is no significant relationship between organizationclimate and teachers performance. It means that the better the organization climate doesn’t maketeachers performance increase, the in F test, headmaster leadership style and organization climatesimultanous influence teacher’s performance significantly and positively.

Abstract

This study aims to decrypt: 1) Strategic planning of school work program to improve the quality of education in school. 2) Implementation of the work plan in school, 3) evaluation andsupervision of school work plan. Research conducted using qualitative description. Activity was collected using the techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on research, it can be concluded in school has conducted planning school work optimally in terms of both thesteps of planning work program, the implementation of the work plan of the school as well as the evaluation and supervision of school work plan to be comprehensive, objective, responsible and sustainable, as well as disseminated to all teachers and education personnel.Keywords: strategy, principal, quality education

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of organizational culture and teamwork on administrative performance Junior High School. The research result shows that all variables have positive influence on the performance in the form of a linear equation = 21.645 + 0,396.X_1 + 0,430.X_2, where all independent variables have significant influence with sig 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the R-square value of 0.644 indicates 64.4% of the variance Administrative Performance in Junior High School Seluma influenced by factors Organizational Culture andTeamwork, and 35.6% are influenced by other factors that have not researched yet.Keywords: organizational culture, cooperation and teamwork, administration, performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the steps of learning management approach that builds open-ended creative thinking math class X SMK Negeri 2 Bengkulu City. This study used a qualitative approach with classroom action research (PTK) as a kind of research. The subjects of this study 25 students. The data collected in this study includes data process and outcome data. Data collection instruments include observation sheet activities of teachers and students, a test sheet, the interview format, and documentation that includes Learning Implementation Plan, Student Worksheet, and documentation of learning in the classroom (photo). There are seven steps in the learning of the open -ended approach that builds creative thinking.Keywords: learning, open-ended, creative thinking

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of the implementation of the learning model discovery learning on social science subjects based curriculum in 2013 on SMPN1Curup. The method is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study is subject teachers in charge of the Social Sciences in SMP N 1 Curup. Methods of data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. From these results, it shows that management is executed in a learning model Discovery Learning in the field of social studies curriculum 2013 based on SMPN 1 Curup, has done well, which includes activities; learning planning, learning implementation, and evaluation of learning.Key word: management, discovery learning model, social studies

Abstract

The objective of the research is to describe of academic supervision in improving the teachers’ performance of Public Elementary school 6 Ketahun North Bengkulu. The method ofthis research was descriptive qualitative method. The data collecting technique used interview, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was done by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusion. The results of this research showed that (1) planning of academic supervision was by coordinating with senior teachers; (2) implementating of academic supervision was done by visiting class and observation; (3) monitoring was done by pre- visiting class and post visiting class.Keywords: academic supervision, teacher performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the supervision and efforts to overcome obstacles in the implementation of K-13. This study is a qualitative research.Data collection techniques are interviews, observation,  ocumentation. The data analysis technique is interactive analysis flow. The results of this study are: (1) the implementation of the supervision in the application of K-13 based on the condition many teachers have difficulty in implementing the curriculum and the limited facilities; (2) obstacles faced, among others: complexity of the task,lack of teacher preparation, high subjectivity, change of principal. (3) efforts to overcome the obstacles, among others: delegation of the senior teachers, motivation, guidance, coordination.Keywords: supervision, principals, curriculum 2013

Abstract

The objectives of this research was to determine the extent of the principal in carrying out the leaderships function, whether in academic or non academic, as an achievement which given from the principal of Junior Hight Schoul 18 South Bengkulu. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The techniques of collecting the data in this research were used interview, observation, and documentation. The data was analyzed by elaborating data, displaying data, and making conclusions. Based on this research known that the principal have a honest personality, confident, responsible, willing to take risks, has a stabile emotion and competent to be exemplary; the principal has the knowledge of the educator and education, capable in developing vision and mission of the school, capable in making internal and external decisions, has good communication, democratic act, and work to improve teaching and learning quality.

Abstract

This study was to describe the management of teachers at State Primary School 4 North Curup Rejang Lebong District. This research used qualitative descriptive method. Planning needsof teachers has been done by analyzing the shortage of  eachers, with the involvement of the board teachers alone. Recruitment procedures can not be done because of the intervention of the local government. Coaching and development has been done in spite of its still modest. Beluampositively motivating nothing is done, it only needs to always be excited in the line of duty. Displacement (mutations) that are already done Roling teaching duties. Supervision andassessment has been carried out by means of diaries and classroom supervision. Dismissal has been done especially for civil servants who have retired and for tenga honorary who resigned.Keywords: management, teachers
