Abstract

The purpose of this research to describe student management that takes place in Public Senior High School Number 4 Kepahiang Regency. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Data taken by interview, observation and documentation study. In this research the subjects of the study were the principal, the deputy headmaster of the curriculum and student fields and several students and study teachers and administrative staff at this school. This research shows that the ongoing student management process is in accordance with the scope of student management, and is prepared by the school in accordance with the technical instructions from the education office.

Abstract

This research described students’ discipline coaching in SMP Negeri 10 Bengkulu City. This research used case study by using qualitative research design. Subjects in this research were students of grade VII, grade VIII, grade IX, Headmaster, vice principal of students, students’ organization coach, Homeroom teacher, subject teachers, and picket teacher. The result of research showed that generally students discipline coaching in SMPN 10 Bengkulu city was appropriate with the rules set by the school, but there still some students who break the rules of discipline in the school. The rule about school discipline consists of rules in learning activities or learning discipline, rules in attitude, rules in students obligations, rules in students presence, and students prohibitions in school environment.

Abstract

This research aimed at analyzing the effect of leadership style and work atmosphere to the teacher's performance in Public Senior High School State in Bengkulu Tengah Regency. Leadership styles include: autocratic leadership styles, democratic leadership styles, and free leadership styles. Data collection was done using questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Prerequisite test used is normality test, linearity test, multicolinearity, and independent test. The results showed that: (1) the autocratic leadership style has no effect to the teacher’s performance with significance test result of 0,05; (2) democratic leadership styles significant impact to the teacher’s performance; (3) free leadership style does not affect to the teacher’s performance; (4) work atmosphere significant impact to the teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study described the school development plan in senior high school Number 2 Kepahiang. In the study used a qualitative descriptive method. While the subjects of this study were the principal, vice principal, teachers, administrative staff, parents of students, and students. In collecting data, the method used by the researcher is interview, observation, and documentation. then, the data collected will be analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques such as those proposed by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that in general the plans for developing schools in Kepahiang 2 Public High School have not met the standard operating procedures that have been set.

Abstract

This research described the role of administration staff in curriculum administration at SMK Negeri 3 Seluma. Descriptive qualitative method was used in this study. The result of the research showed that the role of administration staff of SMK Negeri 3 Seluma in curriculum administration in planning, implementing, and evaluating aspects have been relevant with Permendikbud No. 24 Tahun 2008 about the standard of school administration staff.

Abstract

This study described the role of principal to improving teacher’s discipline. The problems in this research was the role of principal to improve teacher’s discipline at SMAN 1 Bengkulu Tengah. The method of this research was descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were the principal, and eighteen subject teacher. The Data’s were collected through interviews, observations, and documentations. Data analysis was included data collection, reductioning data, display datato know how the role of the principals to improving teacher discipline 1 Bengkulu Tengah, Bengkulu Province. At last the research could be conclude that the role of the principals toimproving teacher’s discipline wouldl also increase the students discipline at SMAN 1 Bengkulu Tengah.The role of the principal toimproving teacher discipline could be attributed to the principal's role as manager, leader, motivator, and supervisor. The example of the principal that has been applied by the headmaster of SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu Tengah it has been referring to the discipline indicator namely objectives and abilities, leadership examples, compensation, firmness, employee loyalty. It has also referred to the indicators of the principal's leadership of mobilizing, directing, motivating and supervising.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian secara umum untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pengelolaan keuangan sekolah di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 7 Bengkulu Selatan, sedangkan tujuan khusus untuk mengevaluasi: perencanaan, pembelanjaan, dan pertanggungjawaban keuangan sekolah. Metode penelitiannya yaitu diskriptif evaluatif. Hasil penelitan menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan keuangan di SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu Selatan cukup efektif. Adapun kesimpulan khusus yaitu: Perencanaan keuangan sekolah sudah cukup efektif, pembelanjaan keuangan sekolah belum sesuai dengan target yang diharapkan, dan pertanggungjawaban keuangan sekolah kurang efektif.

Abstract

Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi kedisiplinan pengawas mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMA di Bengkulu Selatan. Sedangkan tujuan spesifiknya adalah mengevaluasi kedisiplinan supervisor dalam: a) menyusun program pengawasan, b) melaksanakan program pengawasan, c) mengevaluasi hasil pengawasan, d) menyusun laporan supervisory dan e) menindaklanjuti hasil pengawasan. pengawasan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif evaluatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kedisiplinan pengawas mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMA Bengkulu Selatan termasuk kategori "sangat baik". Hal tersebut tercermin dari indikator dan sub indikator yang terdapat pada kesimpulan spesifik sebagai berikut: a) Disiplin dalam hal penyusunan program kerja tahunan, program kerja semester dan penyusunan RPP sangat baik. b) Disiplin dalam pelaksanaan program tahunan dan program kerja semester sangat baik. c) Disiplin dalam pelaksanaan evaluasi program, evaluasi pelaksanaan supervisi dan evaluasi setelah pelaksanaan supervisi baik. d) Kedisiplinan dalam melaporkan hasil pemantauan kegiatan mulai dari laporan bulanan hingga laporan semester hingga laporan tahunan sangat baik. dan e) Disiplin dalam menindaklanjuti temuan selama pelaksanaan supervisi sangat baik.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a descriptive evaluation research. The approach used is a systems approach that is focused on planning, implementing, and evaluating counseling programs in Bengkulu City High School. The subjects of this study were the management of counseling guidance programs at SMAN 1 Bengkulu City and SMAN 11 Bengkulu City. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, research questionnaire instruments and documentation. The results of the research on the management of the guidance and counseling program based on the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 111 of 2014 concerning Guidance and Counseling in Basic Education and Secondary Education at SMAN 1 Bengkulu City have very good criteria with a percentage of 77% (excellent) implemented. Whereas SMAN 11 Bengkulu City has good criteria with a percentage of 63% (good) implemented.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganlisis kontribusi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja guru bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah guru BK di SMA Negeri Kota Bengkulu yang berjumlah 35 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat kontribusi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru bimbingan dan konseling sebesar 33,1%, (2) terdapat kontribusi iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja guru bimbingan dan konseling sebesar 25,2% dan (3) terdapat kontribusi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim organisasi secara simultan terhadap kinerja guru bimbingan dan konseling sebesar 48,3%.
