Abstract

This study improved the competence of teachers in the implementation of learning at Elementary School 11 South Bengkulu. Classroom action researchwas used as the method in reseacrh, and the data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation. The result showed that of the study indicate there is very high increase in teacher competence and competence.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know how is the role of a school’s culture in increasing the performance of teachers in Sint Carolus senior high school Bengkulu. The data collected techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects are the principal, vice principal, teachers, administration staff, janitor, and security. The result of this research showed that school’s culture: behavioral patterns, the followed norms, the dominant values, the philosophy, the regulation, and the atmosphere of the school have an important roles in increasing the performance of teachers.Key word: school culture, teacher performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe that by implementing learning management inquiry model can improve student learning outcomes. Subjects were second grade students of State Elementary School 09 Kepahiang 2010/2011 school year. The research instrument is a student worksheet (LKS), the individual test, and the student questionnaire responses, as well as student observation sheet. Based on the results of research in cycle I, II and III are improving student learning outcomes in terms of value - average was 5.5 while the percentage in the classical reaches 20% of students who score ? 60. Activity of students during the learning process has also increased each cycle is 20%, 85% and the latter increased to 90%.

Abstract

This study described how the leadership of the principal in improving the work environment in SMA Negeri 1 Pendopo Empat Lawang District. This is descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects are personnel of Senior High School 1 Pendopo Collection technique using interview, observation, and document study. The results show that the success of the principal is evident from the smooth and smooth learning process of teaching and learning. Motivate, The role of a leader, should be able to pay attention to the needs and feelings of teachers and staff Tu. The relationship between principal and teachers and TU in Senior High School is seen to run harmoniously and intertwined. The atmosphere of a good school environment, and fun is expected to improve the quality and quality of a school and never be bored or satisfied with the existing situation. Clean classrooms, adequate lighting, clean air circulation. Structuring a good school environment will make school residents feel at home in school. The arrangement can be in the form of classroom park and ceremonial field arrangement, classroom corridor and study facilities, and also the wall coloring of each school building unit.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the instructional management of English in writing skill at Junior High School Number 01 South Bengkulu. The method of this research was qualitative research. The data were collected by conducting personal interview, observations and documentation study. Then, data analysis used qualitative technique. The result of this study showed that (1) in planning of learning of English writing  skill, it was done well by English teachers, (2) in teaching learning process (implementation), English teachers used various and interesting  methods and media. (3) in evaluating and supervision the learning management, teacher had found appropriate method of measuring the students’ achievement, (4) in feedback of teaching learning process was done by doing remedial and enrichment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the general school leadership and discipline of work with teacher performance junior high schoolAs the District of STL TerawasUluMusiRawas. The study population was all government school teachers in junior high schoolAs the District STL TerawasUluMusiRawas which amounted to 102 people, with a standard error of 10%, the number of samples from a population of 102 people to 73 people. The conclusions of the research are as follows: First, a significant difference between the Leadership Principal principals on teacher performance by the correlation value of 0.343. Secondly, a significant difference between the performance of teachers Work Discipline by the correlation value of 0.736. Third, there is simultaneously a significant influence between Headmaster Leadership and Work Discipline principals on teacher performance by the correlation value of 0.737.

Abstract

This research identified the class management at Junior High School Number 3 Empat Lawang district. The design of the research was used descriptive qualitative research. The subjective of this research was the students grade VIII of Junior High School Number 3 Pendopo Empat Lawang district. The technique of collecting the data, the researcher used observation, interview, and documentation to class managemen of the students grade VIII in Junior High School Number 3 Pendopo Empat Lawang district. The result of this research showed that the design of class management can to the learning process (KBM) in the class, it becaused with the right class management the result of the learning will be more maximal.

Abstract

In relation to the duties and functions of the principal who wants to move its educators to do his job to be able to motivate the partners so they will focus all his energy and attention to achieve a predetermined result. Principals should really establish active communication and at any time conduct an evaluation of the teaching task that has been done by the teacher. This can be reflected in the view of the pattern of the leadership shown by the principal to partners. Implementation of the teachers in this study, it was found a positive influence on the creation of teacher motivation in learning activities, It is characterized by a significant increase in each cycle, the first cycle of 37.5% and the second cycle increased to 81,25%. This demonstrates the successful implementation of the principal to implement the visionary leadership of the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the relationship of principal instructional leadership and self efficacy with the performance of teaching teachers of public junior high school in Pinang Raya District. The research method that will be used in the preparation of this thesis is survey research with quantitative approach. The survey research is to explain the casual relationship and hypothesis testers. Collection data using questionnaires, which have completed scores on each item. While the data analysis techniques used to test the hypothesis is a simple linear correlation analysis technique and multiple correlation. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions can be drawn from the results of this study is the teacher's teaching performance can be improved by improving principal instructional leadership performance and self efficacy.

Abstract

This research described whether there is a significant correlation between teaching supervision, commitment to teachers’ performance in Public Elementary School in Ketahun District North Bengkulu. The research methods of this study was descriptive quantitative and the techniques of data collection is questionare. The research subjects were teachers. The findings of this study show that to get a significant correlation between teaching supervision to teachers’ performance which obtained partial correlation coefficient of 0.840 (84%), to get the correlation between commitment to teachers’ performance which obtained partial correlation coefficient of 0,564 (56,4%), and to get the correlation between teaching supervision, commitment to teachers’ performance which obtained double correlation coefficient of 0,871 (87,1%).
