Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that influence the increase in Interdialytic Weight Gain (IDWG) in hemodialysis patients. This research method uses a narrative literature review method by entering keywords into five databases: PubMed, CINAHL, Science Direct, Wiley, and ProQuest. The results showed that the search results obtained 521 articles and ten relevant and qualified articles, then extracted using the DSVIA method. The intrinsic and extrinsic factors that contribute to the increase in Interdialytic Weight Gain (IDWG) in hemodialysis patients. Intrinsic factors include age, gender, knowledge, body mass index, psychological condition, thirst, xerostomia, and self-efficacy. In contrast, external factors (extrinsic) that influence the increase in IDWG are the duration and frequency of hemodialysis, and serum dialysate, including serum sodium and serum creatinine. In conclusion, the rise in Interdialytic Weight Gain (IDWG) can severely impact the patient's condition, so it is necessary to identify the factors that contribute to the increase in interdialytic weight gain plan appropriate nursing actions. Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the length of the umbilical cord detachment in babies bathed in warm water with babies who are wiped with a wet towel at Batara Siang Hospital, Kab. Pangkep. The research method used is quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental) using the Experimental Design-Equivalent Time Sample method. The results showed that the average length of umbilical cord detachment for infants who were bathed in warm water (experimental group) was 110.8 hours or 4.97 days, while the average length of time for removing the umbilical cord of infants who were wiped with a wet towel (control group) was 76. ,9 hours or 6.6 days. The average difference between the two groups is 24.72 hours or 1.20 days. The results of the statistical test obtained a P-value (<0.001), meaning that at alpha 5%, there was a significant difference in the average length of umbilical cord detachment between babies who were wiped with a wet towel, which was 2.01 days and babies who were bathed in warm water, which was 4, 01 day. So that the care of babies who are wiped with a wet towel is more effective, and the umbilical cord is removed faster than the care of babies bathed in warm water. Conclusion: There is a significant difference between umbilical cord care and the average length of umbilical cord detachment between babies who are wiped with a wet towel and babies who are bathed in warm water. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether rewards and workload affect the performance of nurses in inpatient services at a hospital in Palembang City. This research is included in the category of ex-post-facto study and is also causally associative. The results showed that most of the nurses had vocational education (D III Nursing) with 100 nurses (74.6%), female 116 (86.6%), married 112 (83.4%), and permanent employment status 40 ( 29.9%) followed by Honor/contract/non-permanent 39 (29.1%). The analysis results obtained a p-value of 0.048 for the nurse workload variable with nurse performance and a p-value of 0.035 <0.05 for the reward system and nurse performance. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the reward system and version, and there is a substantial relationship between workload and performance. quality of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease who received hemodialysis treatment. This research method uses a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Pretest – Post-test Group Design approach. The results showed that in the intervention group the p-value = 0.005 (p < 0.05), the control group the p-value = 1,000 (p > 0.05). In conclusion, the SSBM technique affects improving sleep quality in CKD patients receiving HD treatment. In the intervention group, there was a difference in the sleep quality of HD patients before and after being given SSBM, while in the control group, there was no difference. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of elderly exercise on blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension. The method used is a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the mean systolic blood pressure before the elderly exercise intervention was 160.00 mmHg, with a standard deviation of 8.083. While the mean value of systolic blood pressure after the elderly exercise intervention was 131.77 mmHg with a standard deviation of 4.799. On diastolic blood pressure, it was found that the mean value of diastolic blood pressure before the elderly exercise intervention was 88.92 mmHg with a standard deviation of 6.211. The results of diastolic blood pressure showed that the average value of diastolic blood pressure after the elderly exercise intervention was 82.31 mmHg with a standard deviation of 3.276. The analysis showed that systolic and diastolic blood pressure decreased with a systolic value = 0.001 and a diastolic value = 0.001. In conclusion, there is an effect of elderly exercise on blood pressure in older adults with hypertension after elderly activity in RW 16 and Posbindu Kenanga Work area of Cipageran Health Center, both systolic and diastolic. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the professional career path of nurses at the Manimeri Health Center, Teluk Bintuni Regency, West Papua Province. The research method used is qualitative research. The results obtained four themes: understanding of the career of professional nurses, the implementation of clinical authority has not been based on the career path of clinical nurses, nurses' expectations in evaluating the performance of career paths, obstacles faced in developing a professional nurse career path. In conclusion, the process of understanding the Clinical Nurse felt by the participants was not by the procedure; the career path determination process carried out at the Manimeri Health Center was not by the procedure, so the duties and authorities of each level of the Clinical Nurse should be different according to their jurisdiction, in the field implementation it is not by Clinical Nurse level, caused by the fact that every time there is a nursing action, it is not always the level of PK that should be.
