Abstract

Siswa yang menuntut pelajaran di sekolah memiliki harapan untuk meraih prestasi yang baik. Salah satu indikator dari upaya mendorong siswa mendapatkan prestasi yang tinggi, yaitu adanya support dari orang-orang di sekolah, dalam hal ini guru bimbingan dan konseling (BK).  Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penilaian siswa terhadap aktivitas guru BK dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar Siswa di SMA. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan survey terhadap 80 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif sederhana. Aktivitas guru BK dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa ditinjau dari aspek peranan guru BK dalam (1) mengedukasi penggunaan waktu siswa, dan (2) mendorong siswa meningkatkan prestasi belajarnya. Hasil simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penilaian siswa terhadap aktivitas guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar Siswa di SMA Bogor masih kurang baik. Diperlukan upaya-upaya ekstra dari guru BK untuk meningkatkan aktifitasnya dalam mendorong siswa untuk meraih prestasi belajar yang tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is the development of core curriculum that is able to increase critical thinking skills for students. 21st Century demands that humans go on to establish themselves with various skills. There are a variety of human skills required in the 21st Century Skills Critical thinking skills to be one of the human skills needed to survive in the 21st century Critical thinking will support people in dealing with various issues it faces today through a systematic process of thinking. Core curriculum in guidance and counseling in schools will be able to improve critical thinking skills. This study is a review of the literature. From this study indicated a technique related to core curriculum that can improve critical thinking skills in students. Techniques in basic services which can be applied as blended learning, the inquiry learning, case-based learning, problem base learning and so forth.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out about the Effect of Individual Counseling in Improving Student Learning Motivation. Quantitative research method used in this research is Nonequivalent Control Group Design, this design is similar to Pretest-Posttest Control Group. The samples in this study were students who amounted to 10 respondents, through purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. Data analysis technique is done by calculating the validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test and hypothesis test with SPSS version 20.0. This research showed, there was a significant effect of individual counseling in improving student learning motivation, with the result of a coefficient of Sig. (2-tailed) Of 0.000 <0.05 then it was decided that Ho was rejected, and H1 accepted. With R2 value of 0,866, which means, individual counseling give contribution as much 86,6% in improving student learning motivation.

Abstract

Prestasi belajar merupakan tolok ukur keberhasilan dalam pendidikan. Dalam usaha mendidik siswa, maka kompetensi guru merupakan hal yang penting untuk dimiliki setiap guru. Guru yang kompeten akan mampu membuat siswa termotivasi dalam belajar. Kompetensi tersebut meliputi kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional. Hal ini juga berlaku tidak hanya untuk guru mata pelajaran tetapi juga kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling. Guru bimbingan dan konseling yang memiliki kompetensi tinggi memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap pencapaian prestasi belajar siswanya, karena dengan pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling yang optimal, seorang siswa mampu mendorong dirinya untuk meraih prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Student life is adjacent to risky behaviors that can lead to mental health disorders such as smoking, alcohol consumption, drug addiction and pre-marital sexual intercourse. Risk behavior that can disrupt these students need to be prevented so that students do not do things negative in life. This study aims to determine the contribution of group guidance services in preventing risky behavior on the students. This study uses quantitative ex post facto method with correlational descriptions and a sample of 65 students. The results showed that group guidance services showed a contribution in preventing risky behavior in students by 35% so that group counseling services can be used as a prevention strategy for risky behavior and provide a positive understanding for students about the negative impact of risk behavior. The implications of the research are to provide an overview of the importance of counseling and guidance services in the form of prevention and for students to recognize and understand and not to engage in risky behaviors that can damage them.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) preferensi siswa terhadap perilaku konselor, (2) minat siswa terhadap program layanan bimbingan dan konseling , serta (2) hubungan antara preferensi siswa terhadap perilaku konselor dan minatnya terhadap program layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolal Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kota Palangka Raya dengan populasi sebanyak 843 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini sebesar 84 siswa yang diambil secara proportional random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Preferensi siswa terhadap perilaku konselor tergolong positif, (2) minat siswa terhadap program layanan bimbingan dan konseling cenderung positif, dan (3) terdapat hubungan positif antara preferensi siswa terhadap perilaku konselor dan minatnya terhadap program layanan bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to find out whether the group guidance services could improve students social interaction. This research uses a quantitative approach through experiment. In this study, the subjects from the study were 26 students divided into an experimental group of 13 students and control group of 13 students. Data collected by questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results showed that social interaction ability of experiment class students can be improved after receiving group guidance service. As for the control class which was not given group guidance service, the result showed that the level of social interaction ability did not increase significantly. These results illustrate that social interaction can be enhanced through group guidance services.

Abstract

Dilatarbelakangi berbagai peristiwa yang mengindikasikan banyaknya perilaku maladaptif oleh remaja, artikel ini bertujuan memberikan wawasan tentang penggunaan teknik “spitting in the soup” sebagai salah satu disain dalam konseling Adlerian yang berupaya untuk mereduksi perilaku maladaptif remaja. Teknik ini merupakan intervensi untuk membuat konseli sadar tentang tindakannya yang salah dan harus diperbaiki. Perilaku konseli pelan-pelan dihilangkan dengan cara menghapus reward yang didapatkan dari perilakunya. Teknik “spitting in the soup” dilakukan dengan empat tahapan yaitu; 1) membentuk hubungan yang ramah dan akrab dengan konseli, 2) mengidentifikasi kesalahan dasar konseli, 3) bertanya dan meminta izin pada konseli untuk berbagi wawasan tentang pola perilaku berulang yang kurang tepat, 4) konselor melakukan peludahan terhadap sup (masalah konseli) dan membahas reaksi konseli secara terbuka tentang langkah konselor tersebut.

Abstract

Cognitive Behavior Therapy-Based Music (CBT-Music) typically has a special view of academic anxiety experienced by students. This approach sees that the problem is a cognitive distortion caused by maladaptive core beliefs. Therefore, students who experience it need to get help so that their core beliefs can be more adaptive again. Based on the latest research results, integration of CBT counseling with modern techniques of music therapy has proved effective in reducing academic anxiety and improving self-efficacy of students. Thus, through this conceptual study, it is hoped that counselors in Indonesia will be able to understand, practice, and conduct further research on CBT counseling interventions integrated with music therapy.Key words: counseling, cognitive behavior therapy, based music, cbt-music, music therapy, academic anxiety, cognitive distortion, maladaptive core belief, the undergraduate thesis

Abstract

Education with philosophy has a close relationship because philosophy is a view of life that leads to the goal of education. According to Dewey, changes that occur in society must exist and inevitable because education is always changing. The perennialism view at the moment that education is regarded as a container to direct the center of culture. While human beings are able to solve the problem and achieve its goals rationally. This condition of development in the flow of philosophy one of which is essentialism. And education as a tool to process humanize human, with the difference of orientation and philosophy that became his belief. Differences philosophy in a nation will bring a difference in the perspective or purpose of education itself. Learning with the P4C contributes to raising children to be sensitive individuals who respect different perspectives and are able to shape their own rights, have ethical values, take care and improve themselves, and embrace new ideas.
