Turats Journal is published by the Islamic Education Study Programme at Universitas Islam 45 Bekasi periodically every 6 months or twice a year in June and December. Turats Journal accepts various research articles on the theme of Islamic education within Indonesia and the world / internationally, both from literature studies and field studies with various approaches. Turats, starting in 2024, partners with the Indonesian Education Research Centre (PURISDIKI) to provide quality articles for lovers, activists, researchers and practitioners of Islamic education.

Abstract

Abdul Qadir Bafaqih role against the development of Islamic thought, especially in Central Java region can not be considered small, especially if associated with the development of Shiites in Indonesia. Therefore it is not too much what was raised by Ahmad Shafi in his research, that the Shiites understand the development in Indonesia in the twentieth century of which is inseparable from the business that was founded by Abdul Qadir bafaqih, one of the scholars who took an interest and attention large enough on the development of thought and Islamic education in Indonesia. Prior to 1974, Abdul Qadir Bafaqih has attended religious understanding and practice at the time claimed by the majority of Muslims in the environment is a familiar and Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama practice. If observed from the travel and biography and his works, it can be concluded that the patterns of thought Abdul Qadir Bafaqih lead to the observation of religious behavior in the surrounding community, as well as the influence of Shiites who had indeed been deeply rooted as a result of education and that since the early indoctrination instilled by his father. This is of course an impact on his thinking pattern that has a tendency to separate and more or less different from the mode of thinking scholars in general, including Shiite clerics. Whatever form of thinking that has been offered by Abdul Qadir Bafaqih as already described above and apart from the concept of the Sunni - Shi'ite, is still being debated and per-bincangan in the discourse of Islamic thought, the effort of ijtihad has done commendable and at least can be used as an alternative thoughts that will enrich the intellectual heritage of Islam in Indonesia, although the ideas and thoughts that still require review and further research. On the other hand, demonstrated consistency Abdul Qadir Bafaqih Islamic thoughts and the discourse it offers, most are not going to lead to the conclusion that there is essentially no difference between Sunni - Shi'ite. Bafaqih contribution lies in Islamic boarding school education is an attempt to engage in dialogue between Sunni and Shi'ite sects so that the expected occurrence of tolerance and pluralism in Islam.

Abstract

The title of this article is the study of Existence Analysis Subjects Tarbawi Hadith. From this article it can be concluded that the Hadith tarbawi is one of the courses for students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies Department Tarbiyah or Islamic Religious Education, as MKDK with weights two Credits and delivered in semester one. The course is presented as a briefing to the students to understand and appreciate the clues prophet Muhammad SAW and can convey to the learners after becoming a teacher. The mention of Hadith Tarbawi is an effort for the election of the hadiths that there will be MKDK each department. Because virtually all the hadith of the Prophet are as tarbiyah/education for students, as advice to be followed and Uswah (example) for a Muslim. Although the naming of hadith tarbawi including corny, but the benefit for students especially for students of Islamic Religious Education, then it can be accepted. Source books of this subject, many in the access of al-Lu'lu 'wa al-Marjan and Riyadh al-Shalihin. Imam Nawawi much influence on this subject. We recommend library books complement source, as a service to students in addition to devotion to the Islamic sciences

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the educational values inherent in the Qur'an Surah Al-Fiil according to Tafsir Al-Maraghi. From this paper can be concluded that the Qur'an as the Muslim holy teachings, in that it contains clues towards a better life, to live how humans use it. Uninstalling the values in it means waiting for future destruction. Instead go back to the Qur’an means and the inner longing for peace was born, because the teachings contained in the Qur’an contains the peace. When the Muslims away from the Qur’an or simply making the Qur’an just as religious then it is definitely reading the Koran will lose its relevance to the realities of the universe. The Qur'an should be understood and practice. One effort to understand the Qur'an is to interpret. Tafsir Al-Maraghi is one interpretation that is easily understood and in it is loaded with educational value. Educational value of Surat Al-Fiil, among others, that we should learn from the events that befall those who passed away in which people who rebel against God as King Abraha will be destroyed by God. God will repay every human act good deeds both good and evil.

Abstract

This article would like to explore about expectation and opportunity of Islamic education for Muslim society (ummah). The method of this topic is descriptive and analyse. Explanation dividied in five division: Introduction, definition of education, expectation of Muslim society, opportunity and conclusion. In the age of science existension of Islamic education is very urgent and very important especially for the ummah because Islamic education is to perfect and actualize all the possibilities of the human soul leading finally to that supreme knowledge of the Divinity which is the goal of human life. While education prepares man for felicity in this life, its ultimate goal is the abode of permanence and all education points to the permanent world of eternity (al-akhirah) beyond the transient vacillations of this world of change. This article also analyse on the problem of Islamic education such as bad of management and administration, low facility and quality of teacher, and degradation of moral. In the age of science and information society, hight quality of education is something necessary for renaissance of Muslim society

Abstract

Di samping zakat, infak, dan sedekah (ZIS), dalam Islam juga dikenal wakaf sebagai bagian dari pranata Islam yang berdimensi kesejahteraan sosial. Eksistensi wakaf dalam instrumen ekonomi Islam bisa dibilang khas dan strategis. Kekhasan itu tampak jika dibanding zakat. Ciri utama pembedanya adalah tugas pengelola.Amil zakat berkewajiban mendistribusikan seluruh harta zakat kepada delapan golongan. Sedangkan Pengelola wakaf (nazhir) harus menjaga harta wakaf agar tetap utuh. Yang dapat didistribusikan adalah manfaat atau hasil pengelolaan harta yang diwakafkan (mauquf). Nilai strategis wakaf bisa dilihat dari sisi pengelolaan. Jika zakat ditujukan untuk menjamin keberlangsungan pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok kepada delapan golongan, wakaf lebih dari itu. Hasil pengelolaan wakaf bisa dimanfaatkan bagi berbagai lapisan masyarakat, tanpa batasan golongan untuk kesejahteraan sosial dan membangun peradaban umat. Keutamaan wakaf terletak pada hartanya yang utuh dan manfaatnya yang terus berlipat dan mengalir abadi, atau biasa disebut shadaqah jariyah.

Abstract

This article describes about the aspect of education in the Holy Qur’an especially in the Surah al-A’raf verses 73-79. This article is interpretation of that verses and also explains on munasabah (relation) of the verses, structure of language, and the implication of education. From this article we know that Surah al-A’raf verses 73-79 have some meaning of education for us such as teaching of tauhid and anti-paganism, motivation to learn of knowledge and ethical life.

Abstract

The improvement of quality of learning activity in the school can be applied through many ways, one of them is accomodate result of research on pedagogical aims. In those days, both the teachers and other educational practitioners have not yet accommodate those result seriously. Due to it, it is essential to push the teacher and educational practitioner to accommodate those research’s result. In this paper the writer is describes the urgent of accommodate research result in pedagogical objectives due to improve the school’s learning process quality. The analysis is refered to three kinds of theory on learning process, i.e. behavioral approach, gestalt approach, and constructivist approach.

Abstract

Ethic is one of the aspect of education. Ethics (via Latin ethica from the Ancient Greek "moral philosophy", from the adjective of ēthos "custom, habit"),is the study of values and customs of a person or group. It covers the analysis and employment of concepts such as right and wrong, good and evil, and responsibility. This article describes about teacher ethical profession as the urgent of dimension in the era of teacher sertivication as explained in the Law of Teacher and Lecturer and in The Law of National Education System. From this topic we know that morals (akhlaq): these consist of the commands and teaching relating to the spiritual and moral characteristics of human beings, such as justice, fear of God (taqwa), courage, chastity, wisdom, endurance, loyalty, truthfulness, truth worthiness, etc., and prescribe ‘how’ human being should be. Things that relate to human qualities are called akhlaq.The aspect of moral and ethic is very important of education because one goal of education is to perfect of morality.

Abstract

Artikel ini akan mendiskusikan tentang posisi etika dalam ilmu pengetahuan, tujuan etika, tentang kebaikan dan keburukan dan fungsi etika dalam kehidupan social dan pendidikan. Kajian dimensi etika dalam pandangan Ibn Sina memakai studi banding dengan pemikiran para ahli falsafah yang lain seperti al-Kindi, al-Farabi, al-Ghazali, Ibn Miskawayh, Ikhwan al-Shafa, dan Nasir al-Din al-Thusi.
