Abstract

This study addresses the persistent challenge in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in madrasahs, which often emphasizes rote memorization rather than meaningful understanding and value internalization. The study aims to examine deep learning as an emerging pedagogical paradigm and explore its implications for PAI in madrasahs. This research employed a qualitative systematic literature review approach by analyzing 32 relevant national and international scholarly publications on deep learning and Islamic education. The literature review and selection process were conducted using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) approach, including identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages, followed by thematic and conceptual synthesis. The findings indicate that deep learning, characterized by mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning, is strongly aligned with the principles of Islamic education, particularly in promoting reflective thinking (tafakkur), deep understanding (tadabbur), and character formation. The study also highlights important implications for curriculum design, teaching strategies, teacher roles, and authentic assessment practices in madrasahs. This article concludes that deep learning provides a transformative framework for strengthening the cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions of PAI learning. The novelty of this study lies in its conceptual integration of deep learning theory with Islamic educational principles as a foundation for transforming PAI learning in madrasah contexts.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dalam penguatan kinerja guru di sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan untuk menjawab kesenjangan antara praktik kepemimpinan yang bersifat manajerial dengan pendekatan berbasis nilai yang menekankan motivasi intrinsik dan komitmen profesional. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang melibatkan 12 informan, terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan komite sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan studi dokumentasi. Secara konseptual, penelitian ini berpijak pada asumsi bahwa kepemimpinan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam berkontribusi terhadap penguatan kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai amanah, uswah, syura, dan ihsan mampu memperkuat komitmen, kolaborasi, dan kualitas kerja guru secara berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan berbasis nilai memberikan kerangka yang bermakna dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru secara holistik.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic educational management in strengthening teacher performance in a pesantren-based madrasah. The study is motivated by the gap between ideal management practices and the limited structural conditions faced by teachers, including workload, welfare, and resource constraints, which affect teaching performance. This research aims to analyze how management functions are implemented and how they contribute to strengthening teacher performance. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with 12 informants, and document analysis. The findings reveal that management practices are carried out adaptively rather than structurally optimal, where leadership, religious values, and organizational culture play a crucial role in reinforcing teacher performance. Although limitations such as low welfare and dual professions persist, teachers maintain their professional commitment through value-based motivation. The study highlights an adaptive management model as a contextual approach in improving teacher performance in resource-limited Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan santri putri serta implikasinya terhadap efektivitas organisasi di lingkungan pesantren. Penelitian ini penting karena organisasi santri tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai struktur administratif, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembinaan kepemimpinan dan karakter. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di OPJN Putri Pondok Pesantren Jarinabi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap 12 informan, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan bersifat demokratis dengan pendekatan persuasif dan keteladanan, yang mampu meningkatkan partisipasi, komunikasi, dan tanggung jawab anggota. Namun demikian, ditemukan bahwa hubungan antara kepemimpinan dan efektivitas tidak bersifat linear, di mana partisipasi yang tinggi dapat memperlambat pengambilan keputusan, serta kurangnya arahan dapat memengaruhi motivasi dan koordinasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas organisasi dipengaruhi oleh keseimbangan antara partisipasi dan pengendalian organisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis optimalisasi manajemen sarana dan prasarana berbasis digital dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di madrasah ibtidaiyah. Penelitian ini penting karena masih banyak madrasah yang menggunakan sistem manual, sehingga menimbulkan ketidakefisienan, ketidakakuratan data, dan rendahnya pemanfaatan fasilitas pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di MI Al-Hidayah Rantau Rasau dengan melibatkan 10 informan yang terdiri dari kepala madrasah, guru, dan pengelola sarana prasarana. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem digital sederhana berbasis spreadsheet, kode QR, dan monitoring terintegrasi mampu meningkatkan akurasi data, efisiensi pengelolaan, serta aksesibilitas sarana pembelajaran. Implikasi dari optimalisasi tersebut terlihat pada peningkatan waktu belajar efektif, intensitas penggunaan media pembelajaran, serta responsivitas dalam pemeliharaan fasilitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi digitalisasi pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana berbasis nilai amanah pada madrasah diniyah sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam nonformal. Penelitian ini penting karena masih banyak lembaga yang menggunakan sistem manual yang menyebabkan inefisiensi, ketidakakuratan data, serta lemahnya akuntabilitas pengelolaan aset. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan enam informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi melalui penggunaan teknologi sederhana seperti spreadsheet, QR Code, dan media komunikasi digital mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi data, serta kecepatan respon dalam pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana. Selain itu, integrasi nilai amanah memperkuat transparansi, tanggung jawab, dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan aset. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model konseptual pengelolaan digital berbasis nilai yang mengintegrasikan aspek teknologi dan etika, sehingga dapat menjadi solusi praktis dan adaptif bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam nonformal dengan keterbatasan sumber daya.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the concept of Islamic educational psychology from the perspective of contemporary scholars through the deep learning approach in improving the quality of learning. The study employed a qualitative approach using library research by reviewing various relevant literature sources, including scientific books, journal articles, and previous studies. Data were analyzed descriptively and analytically through the processes of reviewing, comparing, and synthesizing concepts related to Islamic educational psychology and the deep learning approach. The findings indicate that Islamic educational psychology emphasizes the holistic development of students’ potential, encompassing cognitive, affective, and spiritual dimensions. Therefore, education is not only oriented toward the mastery of knowledge but also toward the formation of morals and personality. Furthermore, the deep learning approach has proven effective in encouraging active student engagement, enhancing conceptual understanding, and developing critical, reflective, and creative thinking skills. This approach is aligned with constructivist principles that position students as active subjects in the learning process, making learning more meaningful and contextual. However, the implementation of this integration still faces several challenges, including limited teacher competence and a learning culture that remains oriented toward memorization. Therefore, strategic efforts are required through improving educator capacity, developing adaptive curricula, and strengthening innovative educational policies. In conclusion, the integration of Islamic educational psychology concepts with the deep learning approach has significant potential to create meaningful and high-quality learning and to produce students who are intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally developed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze curriculum development models and approaches from a modern educational perspective and their contribution to improving the quality of learning. The study used a qualitative approach with library research through the review of various relevant literature sources, such as scientific books, journal articles, and previous research results. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically by reviewing, comparing, and synthesizing various concepts of curriculum development models and approaches. The results show that curriculum development models in modern education, such as rational, interactive, and systemic models, remain relevant but need to be integrated and adapted to dynamic learning needs. Meanwhile, curriculum development approaches that include competency-based, constructivist, experience-based, and integrative approaches emphasize active, contextual, and learner-centered learning. The integration of these models and approaches has been proven to improve the quality of learning, especially in the development of critical, creative, collaborative, and communicative thinking skills. However, the implementation of curriculum development in modern educational practices still faces various challenges, such as limited teacher competency, minimal supporting facilities, and resistance to change. Therefore, strategic efforts are needed to improve educator capacity, strengthen education policies, and optimally utilize learning technology. Thus, curriculum development is expected to produce a learning system that is adaptive, innovative, and relevant to the demands of modern education.
