Abstract

The number of diseases in tomatoes today can make farmers confused in determining or choosing the type of treatment that suits the tomato disease. This what makes farmers in K district North Central Timor it's hard to get results because they can't consult with experts , so that the level of productivity decreases. -based expert system web can be used to solve problems in terms of helping each farmer in dealing with pests and diseases . The method used in diagnosing is disease in tomato plants is a method bayes theorem , where each alternative provided will be give the value of the hypothesis to get the best results. Hypothesis value in tomato disease ranges from 1 to 0.1 where for hypothesis value 1 is a hypothetical value which shows that the results of this value prove that tomato plants are very specific to diseases and pests while hypothesis value 0.1 indicates that there is no specific for pests and diseases but is found in other diseases. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the system expert which is built is expected to be able to help farmers in Diagnosing diseases and pests on tomato plants in accordance with calculation results bayes obtained.

Abstract

The use of natural dyes in the textile industry, especially in dyeing Timorese woven fabrics, is increasingly in demand, however, the resulting colors tend not to fade easily against washing, so mordant is needed as a binder for colors and fabric fibers. Dyes and mordant derived from natural materials, apart from functioning as coloring agent and color enhancer, also have functional activities such as antibacterial and antioxidant. This study was conducted to examine the antioxidant and antibacterial activity of Timorese weaving using curcumin and biomordan tannin dyes against the growth of Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria. Prior to the antioxidant activity test using the DPPH method and the antibacterial test using the difussion method, a mordanting process was carried out with variations of mordant and coloring of woven fabrics. The results of the inhibition zone measurements showed that woven fabrics dyed without the application of biomordan tannins had strong antibacterial activity with an inhibition zone diameter of 2.0 mm. Meanwhile, the highest antioxidant activity was found in fabrics colored with curcumin and fixed with biomordan, which was 58.11 ppm.

Abstract

In today's era, furniture is a type of business that has big profits, however, it requires a large amount of capital to start the business. Many furniture entrepreneurs are competing to be the best by improving the quality of their products in order to obtain results that are worthy of competing with other products. In addition to quality, entrepreneurs also need to improve performance in order to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in running their business. This performance improvement aims to obtain the maximum possible profit. Barry Furniture UMKM also wants to experience this. To obtain maximum profit, proper analysis is needed so that this analysis can help entrepreneurs to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in running a business. In conducting the analysis, the Linear Programming analysis tool with the Simplex Method was used. From the results of this study it can be concluded that in order to obtain maximum profit, Barry Furniture needs to produce 60 tables and 60 chairs. If Barry Furniture follows the results of this analysis, it is estimated that in less than one month they will earn a profit of IDR 1,800,000.00.

Abstract

Soil insects play an important role in the ecosystem, namely in the process of weathering organic matter and their presence and activities have a positive effect on the physical and chemical properties of the soil. Soil insects will break down organic matter and then release it back into the soil in the form of organic matter which is available to green plants and can be an indicator of soil fertility. This study aims to determine the diversity of ground-surface insects in horticultural farming in Maubeli Village, Kota Kefamenanu District, North Central Timor Regency. The research was conducted from January to March 2021. Samples were taken using the Pitfall Trap. Data analysis was carried out using a quantitative method, namely conducting data collection activities, analyzing the data and then identifying it down to the species level. The results showed that there were 633 individual insects belonging to 7 genera, 6 families and 4 orders. The entire insect order found was Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, Orthoptera, and Blattaria. The highest insect diversity was found at night, namely at station I with a Diversity Index value (H') = 5.7204 and at station II with a Diversity Index value (H') = 5.5555. While the Diversity Index value is highest during the day, namely at station II with the Diversity Index (H') = 3.0852.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Giving credit is a business activity that contains a high risk and affects the sustainability of businesses such as cooperatives and banking. The aims of this research are to: (a) knowing the credit decision making system implemented in KSP Kopdit Swasti Sari, (b) knowing the calculation of the remaining credit payments using the first-order linear difference equation. In this study, the method used to calculate the remaining debt for credit payments is a first-order linear difference equation, namely the remaining debt after the first payment is the same as the remaining debt after payment to t plus interest minus annuity. The results of this study indicate that the credit decision-making process is considered worthy of receiving a credit loan if it meets the requirements that have been set at the KSP Kopdit Swasti Sari. The step to calculate the remaining credit payments using a mathematical model is to find the amount of fixed installments from an ordinary annuity with a different loan size, namely Rp 5.000.000, Rp 10.000.000 and Rp 15.000.000. After getting the results from the ordinary annuity, a mathematical model of the remaining credit payments is formed using equation (2.13). The results of the calculation of the remaining credit payments using a mathematical model are as follows: For the first order linear difference equation with a loan size of Rp 5.000.000 after paying the first installment () the remaining debt is Rp 4.900.081 and the remaining debt () of Rp. 8. For a large loan of Rp. 10.000.000 after paying the first installment () the remaining debt is Rp. 9.800.162 and on payment of () the remaining debt is Rp. 16. For a large loan of Rp 15.000.000 after paying the first installment () the remaining debt is Rp 14.700.243 and on payment of () the remaining debt is Rp 24.

Abstract

Research on using Feun Kase (Thevetia Peruviana) seed oil as a corrosion inhibitor for zinc metal has been done. This study aims to determine the optimum conditions of immersion time, inhibitor concentration, and temperature in the corrosion inhibition process. Fun Kase seed oil was obtained by maceration extraction for five days using methanol solvent. The inhibition test using the weight reduction method was carried out with variations in immersion time, inhibitor concentration, and temperature to determine the inhibition efficiency and corrosion rate per year in the corrosion test process. From the research results, the optimum immersion time and inhibitor concentration were obtained at 3 hours of immersion time, and a concentration of 1000 ppm with an inhibition efficiency of 43.16% and a corrosion rate of 13.48 mph, and the optimum temperature was obtained at 30ºC with an inhibition efficiency value of 21.33 %.

Abstract

In serving BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants who make claims for Old Age Benefits (JHT), delays in the claim process often occur. This is due to the fact that the file for submitting a claim is not complete, the officer is overwhelmed because the accumulation of files is increasing and they have to divide their time to do other tasks outside the office. This study aims to see which variables between data completeness and working hours fullness have a more significant effect on delays in claims for Old Age Security (JHT) at the Belu Branch of the Employment Social Security Administration Agency (BPJSTK) and find out the multiple linear regression model. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the data completeness variable has a more significant effect than the fullness of working hours on delays in JHT claims. The regression model obtained is Y^ = 144.458 – 118.141 + 66.814 .

Abstract

Medicinal plants are plants that can be used as medicine or medicinal ingredients to treat various diseases. One of the plants used as a medicinal plant is Annona reticulata L. This study aims to determine the content of secondary metabolites in the solvent extract of the root bark of the plant “At Anonse” (Annona reticulata L.). The stages of this research were sample preparation, extraction, and phytochemical analysis. Extraction was carried out by maceration using n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol as solvents. Phytochemical analysis was carried out qualitatively based on changes in color, precipitate and foam. The results of the phytochemical analysis test showed that the groups of compounds contained in the root bark of the plant “At Anonse” were triterpenoids, tannins, flavonoids, phenolics, alkaloids and saponins.

Abstract

The Province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is categorized as a lagging region based on the value of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and belongs to the lowest group at the national level. This underdevelopment has become a special concern for the government in every work program. This condition is an appropriate reference for periodic analysis in a certain time series. The analysis is carried out in various aspects that are dynamic by paying attention to spatial conditions, because each region has different characteristics. One of the main concerns is the value of GRDP, which is a measure of the welfare of a region. The estimation of the regency / city GRDP value model in NTT Province has been carried out, so the existing model is then used for prediction analysis based on updated real time data which is then mapped to see the distribution of GRDP values as a description of actual conditions. The prediction process is carried out using a method that is able to accommodate the characteristics of spatial data and a combination of time series and cross section data, so the appropriate method is dynamic panel spatial. The prediction results obtained the accuracy value of the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) criterion of 7.47%, which means less than 20%, so it can be concluded that the dynamic panel spatial models is the right method to be used to forecasting the value of district/city GRDP in NTT Province for the next period of time. The prediction results obtained by the distribution of GRDP values are divided into four categories, namely low, medium, high and very high, which are marked by different colors on the mapping.

Abstract

Shopee is an online shopping application that is easy to use with customers' smartphones anytime and anywhere. The presence of Shopee can make it easier for users to shop for goods/services products via smartphones without the need to use a computer. Shopee sells all kinds of needs such as household needs, fashion, watches, cellphones, accessories, beauty, and so on. Without realizing it, Shopee has a negative impact on users who use it continuously so that it becomes a habit / addiction. Online shopping results in waste because shopping is not according to need but desire because it does not have high self-control, resulting in stress or depression. This study aims to build a mathematical model of online shopping addiction in the SEIR type Shopee application. Based on the research results, two equilibrium points are obtained, namely the equilibrium point free of online shopping addiction on the Shopee application and will be stable when and the equilibrium point there is online shopping addiction on the Shopee application and will be stable when . Simulation results are observed in two conditions, namely when , the value of is obtained, meaning that the rate of people interacting with people who are addicted to online shopping at Shopee is still small, causing the rate of groups of people who create accounts to shop and eventually become addicted to online shopping. When , the value of is obtained, meaning that the rate of people interacting with people who are addicted to online shopping in the Shopee application has increased, causing the rate of groups of people who create accounts in the Shopee application and eventually become addicted to shopping online at Shopee to increase over time.
