Abstract

Fern (Pteridophyta) is diverse and very easy to find include in Oeluan Natural Tourism Forest. However, this information was very limited even though fern is very potential can be a tourism support in Oeluan Natural Tourism Forest. This research aimed to inventory fern in Oeluan Natural Tourism Forest. The result showed that there are 17 ferns spesies from 8 family, are Aspleniaceae, Davalliaceae, Nephrolepidaceae, Polypodiaceae, Psilotacea, Pteridaceae, Tectariaceae, dan Thelypteridaceae. Polypodiaceae is dominant family in Oeluan Natural Tourism Forest.

Abstract

Mathematics is a tool to simplify the presentation and understanding of problems. Every business actor must do what is called an economic principle, namely that with a little effort or capital it can generate large profits, so that optimization problems arise. The simplex method is an algorithmic procedure that is used to calculate and store a lot of numbers in the initial iterations and for decision making in subsequent iterations. The simplex method is a method commonly used to solve every problem in linear programming where a combination of variables consists or two or more variables. The aim of this research is to optimize daily profit at Viola Batunirwala restaurant. This research is literary by examining journals and books in accordance with the field under study. The steps to optimize daily profit include : (1) Observation, (2) Data Collection, (3) Optimizing daily profit using the simplex method. The results of calculations using the simplex method show that the production applied to the Viola Batunirwala Restaurant is optimal. Profit in one production is Rp. 373.762.

Abstract

Grouping a plant can be done by recognizing the character of the plant. One character can be seen through the difference in the morphology of flowers and pollen. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of variations in male flowers and pollen of the genus Musa which can be used as a source of taxonomic evidence. This study used 10 banana accessions analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The result showed the character difference of male banana flower morphology was more varied than the pollen morphology.

Abstract

Corn is one of the most important carbohydrate-producing food crops in the world. For some of the world's population, including in Indonesia, corn is used as a staple food. Corn can be harvested if the physiological ripe conditions are 80-90 days, the husk of the husks is brown, the hair of the corn on the cob is dry and black, the population for dry husks reaches 90%, the texture of the corn kernels is quite hard, and there are black dots on the tip of the corn kernels. Some farmers, especially those who are just starting to learn to plant corn or who do not have sufficient knowledge in agriculture, harvest corn earlier or later than the harvest time. This will have an impact on the chemical composition of the corn which will determine its quality. Therefore, a computer-based system model is needed that can provide convenience in analyzing data, calculating the assessment of harvest-worthy criteria, and helping to process data into information for making decisions. A decision support system (DSS) is the right choice for the above problem. The SPK is designed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which is one of the Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decission Making (FMADM) methods. The SAW method was chosen because the weighted criteria calculation is not too complicated, so it is easy to learn. The system built is expected to help farmers accelerate the process of selecting criteria and reduce errors in determining the feasibility of harvesting the corn plant

Abstract

Bats are mammals (lactating animals) in flyng, the bats sleep during the day and engage in nocturnal activities, so bats are nocturnal (Suyanto, 2001). The study aims to identify the bats in the caves of Fatubaun village Manufui west Timor housing district based. The study was carried out in July 2019 in the Manufui sub-district Santian district of south central Timor. The method used in this study is that of surveying with sample retrieval techniques is done by using fog nets. The data analysis is done qualitative descriptive. According to research carried out in the Fatubaun cave we have two types of bats Pteropus vampyrus Linn and Microglossus sobrinus, both varieties belong to I order of the Chiroptera and 1 family of the Pteropodidae family.

Abstract

Cashew is a plant that has the potential to help the welfare of farmers in the economic field. In general, cashew has a high economic value. Other benefits of cashew from the roots, stems and leaves can be used as medicine (Prihatman, 2000) and fruit and seeds to be a food source with high nutritional value.This study aims to determine the rate of cashew seed germination and optimum concentration by giving HCl and H2SO4. This research uses factorial pattern.The first factor is HCl with 4 levels of treatment consisting of 0%, 35%, 40%, 45% and 50%. The second factor is H2SO4 with 4 treatment levels consisting of 0%, 35%, 40%, 45% and 50%, and 4 controls.Each treatment consisted of 4 replications. Observation parameters in this study include germination, germination speed, and the average daily germination value. Empirical data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA (F test), followed by DMRT test at 5% level, if Fcount>Ftable (α=0.05). Based on ANOVA results, HCl administration significantly affected all observed parameters while H2SO4 and the interaction between HCl and H2SO4 did not significantly affect germination, germination speed and average daily germination value.DMRT test showed the fastest germination speed was found in the A4 treatment. The treatment with the highest value on the parameter observed was the average daily germination value in the A4 treatment. Thus it can be concluded that the HCl solution has a significant effect on each observation parameter. Whereas H2SO4 and the interaction between HCl and H2SO4 had no significant effect

Abstract

The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Timor often has problems scheduling courses. Lectures in 7 study programs with 543 courses and 118 lecturers must be distributed into the 15 available rooms. This limitation causes lecture scheduling not to be evenly distributed for several lecturer. Some lecturers experience schedule buildup on certain days and time periods of the week. In addition, there is a fairly long time lag between one lecture and another on the same day for several lecturers. This scheduling problem is modeled using the Goal Programming method. The LINGO 11.0 software was used to solve this model. The results obtained are that each lecturer gets a lecture schedule that is evenly distributed on each day of the week without experiencing an overlap in lecture schedules. This model also solves the problem of the long time span between lecture schedules of several lecturers by limiting teaching breaks to only one time before starting the next lecture on the same day for each lecturer.

Abstract

This research discusses the numerical solution of the infiltration problem of the periodic flat channel and is solved using the Dual Reciprocity Boundary Element Method (DRBEM) numerical method with polynomial radial basis functions. DRBEM is a development of the Boundary Element Method, used for PDP solutions in the fields of mathematical physics and engineering. DRBEM has an important role in obtaining a solution to the Helmholtz equation by describing the reciprocal relation between the fundamental solution of the Laplace equation and the solution to be sought. Furthermore, the term containing the double integral in the calculation is approximated by the radial basis function, in order to obtain an equation containing only the boundary integral. The objective of the obtained numerical solution is then compared with the analytical solution obtained by Batu, in order to obtain an accurate solution of the polynomial radial base function for solving the infiltration problem. The mathematical models used in the infiltration problem are the Richards equations, Kirchoff transformation and the dimensionless variables for obtaining the modified Helmholtz equation. The results of the calculation of the numerical solution have shown that the DRBEM with the radial polynomial base function for the number of boundary elements resulting from the discretization and the number of interior collocation points at (N = 200, L = 400) and (N = 225, L = 400) obtained the approximate value ( error) from the six points in the region, indicating that the greater the value of N, the smaller the error. So that for FBR, and the one with the smallest error is , it means that it is close to the FBR used by Batu, is .. Thus, it is concluded that the more discrete line segments result in the region boundary, the numerical solution will approximate the analytical solution. Abstract

Perhitungan harga opsi barrier down-and-in call pada penelitian ini menggunakan suku bunga yang takkonstan. Kondisi ini sesuai dengan tatanan praktisnya, dimana suku bunga tersebut mengalami fluktuasi. Oleh karena itu, penentuan suku bunga mengandung unsur stokastik. Salah satu model diferensial stokastik yang dapat menggambarkan perubahan tingkat suku bunga adalah Cox-Ingersoll-Ross (CIR). Oleh karena itu, model CIR digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk membangkitkan suku bunga yang takkonstan. Solusi numerik yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah pendekatan numerik dengan metode Monte Carlo. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi dari algoritma yang telah dibuat, ada perbandingan lurus antara volatilitas dan harga barrier dengan harga opsi barrier down-and-in call. Sedangkan untuk harga strike dan lama waktu jatuh tempo memiliki perbandingan terbalik dengan harga opsi barrier down-and-in call. Hal ini menyebabkan membesarnya volatilitas dan harga barrier menyebabkan harga opsi barrier down-and-in call juga semakin besar. Dari sisi harga strike, semakin besar harga strike menyebabkan harga opsi barrier down-and-in call semakin kecil. Selanjutnya, semakin panjang lama waktu jatuh tempo opsi, menyebabkan harga opsi barrier down-and-in call semakin kecil.

Abstract

The potential for manganese reserves in Indonesia is nquite high nin all islands, including in NTT, especially in North Central Timor Regency. Goverment regbulation No.7 of 2012 concerning the prohibition of selling raw mining materials abroad implies that we must process them into intermediate goods or final products so that these mining materials have a high selling value. The purpose of this study was determine the content of manganese contained in manganese ores scattered in North Centr Timor Regency.
