Abstract

Business banking is a service business based on principles of trust and t5he customer is a major asset. Under conditions of business competition among banks strict bank that has resulted in only a competitive advantage (compatative advantage as well as a competitive advantage) who can reach the highest position in the eyes of cusmers or the public. Competitive advantage can be obtained from the quality of customer servicr, so the focus on customers (customer focus), responsive to the development of customer desires and continuously innovate is an acitivity that can be done to anticipate the cimpetitive conditions. In this case, the bank should always evaluate the quality of service given to customers and is reflected in the level of customer satisfaction obtained. Rate the quality of service branch of bank syariah mandiri bogor whole is still under service, because it still was below expectations, this is evident also that the general level of service is still not meeting customer expectations, because the level of hope (expectation0 the customer is generally higher than the level of performance (perfromance) or perception(perception)customer.        Empathy dimension of service quality dimensions are most critical or have any impact on the most powerful influence on the level of satisfaction. Abstract

 Environmental change always occurs continuously in the process of development of a country. This development is directly orindirectly will affect the order of social life, economy, culture, technology and lifestyle community. The changes in the economic, social community of course affect the marketing system in the country. A very rapid technological developments lately has affected all areas of human activity. The development of this technology has tightened competition in the marketing system in the marketing world, where the procedures must innovate continuously in order to win and retain the loyalty of its customers.    Currently in Indonesia there are nine mobile operators include (indosat, Telkomsel, XL, Mobile-8, Three, Flexi, Esia, Smart and Axis). When walking in the center of mobile sales, mobile phones can be seen many types of operators who have their own packaging designs appeal to consumers.    Display a bundle is now realized by the manufacturer is no longer only have the function of protecting and wrapping products but products that increasingly tight competition in the market requires manufactures to think hard in improving the function of packaging to be able to provide attraction to consumers through the artistic aspect, color, graphic, from or the design.    The results of simple correlation analysis found a correlation between changes in the new packaging with the purchase of consumer preferences is 0.293. this suggests that there is a strong relationship between the new packaging Esia with consumer purchasing preferences. While the relationship is positive because it is positive. This means that the new packaging Esia has a strong positive relationship towards the purchase of consumer preferences. This relationship is positive where this Esia packaging changes increase consumer purchasing preferences of Esia.    Analytical results obtained coefficient of determination coefficient of determination between the change in the new packaging with the purchase of consumer preferences is the 0086 (8.6%). This suggests that the level of consumer preferences towards new product packaging can be influenced by the old product by 8.6%, the remaining 91.4%influenced by other factors. The coclusion is that between the old and new packaging packaging there is a correlation effect on customer preferences in choosing which 8.6% can be seen that the old product is still influencing new product, and the remaining 91.4% is another factor affecting.

Abstract

Basically the company’s performance is a very important thing. Without good performance it is unlikely that a company can reach its target and predetermined objective. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of performance evaluation system on employees’ performance. The proposed hypothesis is “It is assumed that performance evaluation system has a significant influence on employee’s performance in Finance Department”. The independent variable (X) was performance evaluation system while dependent variable (Y) was employee’s performance, where the value of X on Y was 0.500.

Abstract

Employees are the main wealth of a company, because without their participation, the company’s activities will not occur. Employees play an avtive role in establishing plans, systems, processes and objectives to be achieved. One factor to improve the performance of the employees are motivated in motivating managers to stimulate subordinates by giving a gift to those who excel in the achievement standards, with the motivation of this spirit of working staff will increase because people generally happy to accept that just fine.    Analytical results obtained by calculating R = 0.842. from the comparison of calculated R = 0.842 is greater than table Z = +0.4496 then H0 is rejected. Means there is a significant relationship between motivation and the MBTI work together on employee job satisfaction at the Office of Library Unit in Biotechnology - LIPI Kabupaten Bogor. Based on the analysis above, partially proven that (a) motivation to work and a significant positive effect job satisfaction with t count value of 6.217 and 0.000, or 0% probability of below 5%, so the motivation to work to support the everyday work of employees on Library Unit Office of Biotechnology - LIPI Kabupaten Bogor. (b) the condition of MBTI and no significant negative effect on job satisfaction with t count value = -0.514 and 0.614 0r 61.4% probability of above 5% so that the MBTI is not able to support the everyday work of employees in the Office of Library Unit in Biotechnology - LIPI Kabupaten Bogor.

Abstract

Crisis condition in Indonesia since the middle 1997 has show us many firm had collapse, but, many small firms can survive although they did not have access to bank, to have some aid for their business. The purpose of this study is  to find out, how the small business managed their working capital, so, if they have aid some credit from the bank, they can paid back their credit. And, it’s mean,  they can improve their productivity.

Abstract

The fast changes in the work world at present demands adoption and adaptation abilities for the new skill and capabilities of human resources at every level. The coming changes needs a strategy to improve the existing one and in anticipating the future needs. In relation to human resource improvement target, the role of particularly human resource manager, is very important. Through this role, the employee’s performance can be directed effectively and efficiently especially towards the company’s goal.  An organization will reach a certain level of performance if the organization can create work condition that motivate individuals in the organization, growing good condition of collaboration between individuals and groups as well as creating creativity and initiative.  The performance of employees at BPBPI based on the evaluation on employees’ level of education conducted by DP2K in 2008 were 73.82 (Good) for Elementary, 75.82 (Good) for Senior High School, 78.20 (Good) for Non degree and 79.57 (Good) for Strata One (S1) Degree.  The connection between level of education and employee’s performance at BPBPI shows a strong and positive relation based on coefficient correlation test result where the value of r was 0.708.  An organization will reach a certain performance if it can create good condition of cooperation between individuals and groups and allow creativity and initiative to grow.

Abstract. One of the advances in information technology that now has changed the outlook and human life, business process and business strategy of an institution is the internet. The internet is a very large networks that connected to computers and serves throughout the world in one centralized network. With the internet we can access data and information anytime and anywhere.    As one provider of high-speed data communications services and the pioneer of the internet network service provider in Indonesia that provides integrated services, as well as one of the pioneer development of internet services that provide extensive services in the building and apply it throughout Indonesia. Indosat ready to seize opportunities for sustainable growth of business spectrum are still sprawling Indonesia.    Therefore, Indosat continues to focus on the development of increased efforts to provide the best service for customers of Indosat. Indosat will continue to develop and expand network coverage and a larger investment that the company will achieve excellence in the field of integrated telecommunications services.    Ranking by region of the IP Providers can be seen by grouping IP Providers, and management over IP Providers prefer to choose providers based on where it orginates as an example for the region of the U.S if it will be preferred providers that come from U.S. providers.With the commencement of the internet network optimization start early in 2008 with the selection of the appropriate IP Upstream Provider criteria, it is up to date according to data obtained from Indosat, seen any significant changes to the cost of purchasing capacity of the IP Upstream.    Based on the data obtained that until Q3 or September 2008, the number of IP Upstream Providers that previously there were 20 to 10 IP Upstream Provider, IP Transit Price total decrease of 11% to the price of IP Transit Price / Mbps there is a decrease of 78%, while from the capacity bandwith an increase of 301% capacity from 2008.

Abstract

There are many ways available in implementing management strategy in a company, one of them is by improving quality and work procedure systems through the use of Management Standardization. There are a number of standardizations both international (such as ISO) and national (like SNI) are in use at the moment. Both standardizations are based on a system from an independent body that entitles to give a certificate to a company or an institution that has applied the standardization system. In order to get the precise and accurate research results, the process of data collection and analysis should be done in a scope that carefully planned by comparing data in the operational warehouse before and after the application of ISO to get the final decision. The aspects of the operational research are: the target and actual data of incoming and out coming products, during a certain period prior to the ISO application i.e. 2002, 2003, 2004 and the period when ISO was executed in 2005, 2006 and 2007. There was a significant rise from the amount of target and actual incoming and out coming products handled in the warehouse. This was due to the influence of ISO application particularly on the action, improvement and prevention aspects that consistently applied. While from the actual out coming products there was no big change cause by other factors. Having done the research we hope this study will give new information for all parties especially for marketing department where the strategic steps are taken to maintain the continuous operation of the company as well as in other department particularly the warehouse.

Abstract

The impact of gold’s exchange rate and price fluctuation on the profitability of Cicurug Pawnshop Branch Office. A pawnshop is a non-bank financial institution that was founded on April 1st 1901 during the Dutch Colonialism period. Pawnshop has been chosen for years as an alternative solution to fight against the usury system and usurers. The pawnshop was very important to improve the economical life of Indonesian people at that time. As the time went on, the pawnshop gained more success as can be seen in 1990 when the pawnshop changed its form into a public company where it can make a quick jump to promote its core business.  At the moment, the pawnshop is an independent financial institution and organized by professionals with a good management system. Since then pawnshop has been providing multi products and services programs such as Safe and Quick Credit / Kredit Cepat Aman (KCA), Kreasi, Krasida, Krista, Gadai Syariah, Gadai Efek and the like.  KCA is based on pawn law form and became the core product of the pawnshop. As we know through the economical development of Indonesia that people prefer to choose gold for his or her own deposits. Gold has some good characteristics, such as it is practical to use as deposit, it is liquid and has good and stable exchange rate and moreover its price increases steadily and continuously from year to year. Amazingly the pawnshop has a good capability to control its loss. This is the reason why the writer intended to make an analysis of how the gold’s exchange rate and price influence the profitability of Cicurug Pawnshop Branch Office. By using statistical computation and comparing t table with t counted it is proved that there is no significant influence of the gold’s rate and price on the profitability of Cicurug pawnshop Branch. This can be seen from t counted that is smaller than t table (t counted 0.391< t table 2.257).

Abstract

    Implementation of a clear system of remuneration and to be fair to all employees at all levels of office can provide motivation to employee performance so it will be the human form of competent and qualitified companies. In other word the expected relationship management system of remuneration which is applied against the employee can improve employee performance in work environment so that it can increase company productivity.   The analysis showed that (1) of the Remuneration System Employee Performance there was a positive relationship and significant at a value r + 0.478 and a significance of probilitas 0000 <= 0.05, then there is a positive and significant between Remuneration of Employees Performance shown with a regression coefficient value of 0.272 and 0.000 significance probability <0.05, whereas the contribution system which explains the performance of Employee Remuneration of 22.9%, while the regression equation is Y + 19.573 + 0.272X1, (2) of Assessment Work with Employee Performance there and positive relationship was significant with a value of r + 0.543 and a significance of probilitas 0000 <= 0.05, then there is a significant and positive effect between Employee Performance Assessment Working against the value shown by the regression coefficient of 0.302 and 0.000 significance probability of <0.05, while the contribution of Assessment Work which explains 29.4% of Employee Performance, while the contribution of Assessment Work which explains of Employee Performance, while the regression equation is Y = 20.500 + 0.302 X2 and simultaneously the relationship between Remuneration and Employee Performance Assessment Work with positive and significant areindicated by the value of the correlation coefficient of 0.557.    In addition there are jointly significant and positive influence Remuneration and Employee Performance Assessment Working against, while the contribution of Remuneration and Appraisal Employee Performance Work which explains 33.3%. The regression equation to expresss the influence of Remuneration System (X1) and Assessment of Work (X2) of the Employee Performance (Y) is Y = 18.269+0.139+0.223X1 X2.
