Abstract

Stroke is the most common health problem globally. According to the results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in Indonesia in 2013, and 2018 showed an increase in prevalence of 7 per mile (per 1000 population) in 2013, and 10.9 per mile (per 1000 population) in 2018. According to Riskesda in 2018, as many as 52.3 per mile (per 1000 population) stroke cases are of productive age with an age range of 15 to 64 years which can cause temporary or permanent cessation so as to reduce work productivity and increase disease cases. To determine the factors associated with the risk of stroke in productive age. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the risk of stroke in productive age. This type of research is descriptive correlation with logistic regression test as many as 112 respondents (total sampling) according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria by analyzing the RM sheet at the Setabelan Health Center Surakarta City. Factors associated with the incidence of stroke is hypertension (contribution 21.1%) while age, gender, diabetes mellitus, hypercholesterolemia, and obesity do not have a significant relationship with the incidence of stroke. The most dominant factor with the incidence of stroke is hypertension. Based on the research, it can be said that of the 6 variables there is 1 variable that has an effect, namely hypertension so that the most dominant factor is hypertension.

Abstract

Objective:  Dynamic balance is an ability that must be possessed by football players, especially in terms of improving player performance during matches and reducing the risk of injury to the lower limbs. One way to improve dynamic balance is with core stability exercise. Methods:  This study is a pre-experimental study to determine whether there is an increase in dynamic balance by providing core stability exercise to football players. The research design used in this study was a one group pretest – posttest design. This research was conducted on football players aged 12 -15 years at SSB Syarekah Jaya. Core stability exercise was given 12 times, and dynamic balance was measured using the Y balance test. Measurement of dynamic balance with the Y Balance Test is carried out in three different directions, namely towards the front (anterior), towards the back middle (posteromedial), and towards the back and outer side (posterolateral). The core stability exercises given are plank, side plank, curl up and bridging. The frequency of exercise given is 3 times a week for four weeks with an intensity of 10 repetitions per set, and held for 5 seconds. Posttest data retrieval was carried out again for all players after undergoing core stability exercise training 12 times using the Y Balance Test..Results:   The composite value of Y Balance Test on posttest results after giving 12 times of core stability exercise is quite significant compared to the results of pretest before giving core stability exercise. The data was tested for normality using the Saphiro-Wilk test with the results obtained were P>0.05, which means the data were normally distributed. The researcher then tested the hypothesis using paired t-test and got P <0.05 and the IK did not pass zero, which means that there is a difference in the average composite value of balance before and after giving core stability exercise. Conclusion: The results obtained in the study showed an increase in dynamic balance in football players after being given core stability exercise.

Abstract

Objective: Low Back Pain patient in Physiotherapy Clinic  of Singgasana Rama Blitar City during the span of January 2020 until December 2020 showed that 32% of the visitor suffer low back pain issue. There are several reason behind low back pain and one of them is overweight issue that result on pressure in the vertebra lumbal become higher thus disturb the structure of the backbone. Body mass index is measurement method that compare the weight and the height of someone to determine their body proportion whichever they are underweight, normal, overweight or obesity. Methods: The method used on this study is observational analytic with sampling method that been used is purposive sampling. Data that used on this study is data that have been acquired from survey that consist of their gender, age, job, and the supporting data which is their x-ray, pain scale in the form of numeric rating scale (NRS), height and weight. The data that have been gathered then will be processed into analytic data. Results: From the result of study between 50 people that fulfill inclusion criteria we get result that body mass index category of normal is 16%, overweight 28%, and obesity 56%. Meanwhile NRS score value 4 is 22% value 5 is 16%, value 6 is 30%, value 7 is 20% and value 8 is 12%. According to correlation test we know that the value of Sig. (2 tailed) between body mass index (X) and NRS (Y) is 0,02<0,05, which mean H0 is rejected, and there are significant relation between body mass index and NRS. Pearson correlation value is 0,425 more than 3-table which is 0,279 which mean relationship between two variable is positive. Conclusion:  Body mass index have significant relation with  low back pain, in another word the higher the mass body index the higher the risk of getting low back pain
