Abstract

The development of an increasingly modern era, especially in the age of globalization, which demands human resources which is a requirement for development purposes. One of the ways that can be traveled in improving the quality is through education. With the 2013 curriculum applied today, it prioritizes the self-development of students to actively involve themselves in the process of learning. 2013 curriculum According to learning is performed thematically, where learning can be combined with other materials so that students are able to understand the concept of material that is learned to be optimal. These thematic learning can be integrated with scientific approaches that are collaborated with STEM-based learning. Hence the media learning as an intermediate tool in the learning process used to convey information in the learning process between teachers to students in conveying information. It is hoped that we can create more meaningful learning with the development done to one of the learning media. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive data analysis using FGD (Focus Group Discuss) result data. Based on the FGD data obtained, the design of Lightning Tamiya Car Media is eligible and meets the criteria desired to serve as a learning medium that can be used for STEM-based Learning for the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

The problems experienced by students of class IX SMPN 5 Sumenep are (1) the IPA practical instructions do not contain the components clearly and completely, (2) the practical instructions used in class IX have not been integrated with the environment of coastal communities. This makes the learning process less meaningful for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and response of students to the practical guidelines for science-based coastal community environment. This research is a research and development (Research and Development) using the 4-D model. The data collection instrument used consisted of product eligibility instruments and student response instruments. Initial testing (Initial Testing) was carried out on 5 students and quantitative testing (Quantitative Testing) was carried out on 31 Students. The feasibility results of the IPA-based environmental practicum guide from the validation of material aspects, and the design obtained an average of 100% with a very decent category. The results of students' responses to the IPA-based practicum guidelines for coastal communities obtained a percentage of 95% with a very good category so that the IPA-based practicum guides for coastal communities are very appropriate to be used as teaching materials for carrying out practical activities.

Abstract

Learning tools are things that must be prepared by educators before carrying out learning activities. Learning tools serve as guidelines and guidelines for teachers in implementing a systematic and integrated learning process. This study aims to find out how to develop and the feasibility of Inquiry-based science learning tools with Tri N teaching for seventh grade junior high school students. This research includes research and development (Research and Development) using the 4D development model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Dessiminate. However, the Dessiminate stage was not carried out on this development due to time and cost limitations. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire covering several aspects of the study. The quality of the RPP is assessed by expert lecturers and the quality of the LKPD is assessed by media experts, material experts, student experts, and peer reviewers. Quality value data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis based on an ideal assessment. The results showed that Inquiry-based science learning tools with Tri N teaching for seventh grade junior high school students were deemed fit for use in science learning with the assessment of RPP products based on expert lecturers obtaining an idealized percentage of 79.16% and LKPD product assessments based on media experts with a percentage of ideals of 85.23%, material experts 96.42%, student expertise 96.42%, while peer reviewers 85.24%.

Abstract

Comprehension is a person's ability to understand something and interpret concepts that have been known or obtained previously. Google Classroom is a learning application created by Google to help educators and students do distance learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of google classroom in improving students' understanding of science learning at SD Muhammadiyah MBS Prambanan. The research method used was quasy experimental with a pretest-posttest only control group research design. Sampling was done by saturated sampling technique. The first sample is all students of class IV C totaling 16 students as the control class, and the second sample is all students of class IV D totaling 16 students as the experimental class. The results of the analysis show that there is no significant difference to online learning using google classroom with direct learning (conventional). This is shown from the results of the independent sample test where the sig. (2-tailed) 0.121> 0.05, which means that Ho is accepted and H1 is rejected. Whereas in the paired sample test, the sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) of 0,000 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a mean difference between the pretest and posttest in the experimental class and the control class. Based on these results it can be concluded that google classroom is effective in improving students' understanding of science learning at SD Muhammadiyah MBS Prambanan.
