Abstract

In the world of education, the use of information and communication technology offers an enormous number of opportunities. One of the potential benefits of information and communication technology for education is to support the organization and management of learning. One of the organizations in Indonesia that does not utilize a management system is school institutions, especially elementary schools. SD Al Islah Surabaya in recording student grades using manual methods. Although it did not cause problems, this method of recording was deemed ineffective and inefficient. The purpose of developing this application is to make it easier for teachers to make assessments and minimize errors in inputting values and streamline the work of teachers. The desired result is the creation of a website-based application in which there are features for organizing student grades. In this study, the test results show that the application built has good performance. And the target user also gives a positive value to this application. So that the development of this application can be concluded that the application can be accepted by users and can improve performance effectively and efficiently

Abstract

The sales process at the Azam Wholesale Store is still done conventionally with manual recording. The manual recording system is less efficient because it requires a lot of books and orders that must be recorded into the books manually. This condition also causes errors in entering/recording sales data. Making reports takes a long time because they have to find and collect the necessary data from the notes in the book. In this study, we proposed to develop a POS (Point of Sale) application to solve existing problems so that store work activities can run smoothly. The method used in this POS system is the Waterfall method. The Waterfall method is a method used to develop software sequentially (such as a waterfall) that goes through several stages, namely planning, design, implementation, and testing. The application developed shows that the Point of Sale (POS) system can facilitate Toko Azam Grosir in recording, calculating, making documents and sales information to manage and recapitulate sales reports.

Abstract

In the assessment for the determination of the best employee is still done manually, and the lack of determination for the best employee. This study aims to build a decision support system for determining the best employees in accordance with what is expected by the company. The method used in this study is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) with the provisions of predetermined criteria, namely, order, discipline, absenteeism, cooperation, creativity. This system was developed with the PHP programming language and also uses MySQL. From the results obtained manually accuracy with a percentage of 60%, While the results obtained from the accuracy of using the system reached 73.33%, namely the output of the system is able to choose one of the best employees. So, it can be concluded that this research can be used as a tool to determine the best employees so that the level of employee productivity can be better and can be beneficial for the company.

Abstract

Testing is the most important thing to produce a system that is very good and also useful. Pengban a system must be carried out because if there is no prior testing of a system, then what will happen to the system will get a system error that results in a poor quality system and will result in a loss for developers and users. Experiments that have been carried out can find an error, disability, or failure on a system that has been known from the beginning and immediately corrected more thoroughly. In the test there are also types of system experiments, one of which is by testing the black box using an equivalent method that is good for looking for an error on the system. The equivalent method can break down the input domains of the program into a class that can solve test cases. Based on the results of a test that has been done, this application still has an error and also a defect in a system.

Abstract

Learning history, especially about national heroes, is the first thing that needs to be done to instill the value of struggle and is a moral lesson for students at school. Observations that the author made on students in the SDN Cikancung 1 environment, the problem obtained was that there was so much material that had to be memorized and the lecture learning method applied at this time made students less interested and bored quickly. So the purpose of this research is to create a WEB-based question-and-answer educational game on the names of national heroes using the GDLC method for grade 4 SDN Cikancung 1. GDLC (game development life cycle) is a step-by-step approach to analyzing and building games using a specific cycle and more complex. The GDLC method is used as a research method in making this game, where the research stages consist of initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, and release. The results of this study indicate that students as game users judge that they can operate this game easily, helping the learning process to be more interesting than the previous learning process as well as making teachers and students more creative and innovative in the learning process at school.

Abstract

The odd-even rule is a rule for categorizing odd and even vehicle number plates based on date. This rule is useful for reducing congestion on the highway. However, in applying this rule, human error still often occurs, namely the lack of accuracy of officers in supervising the number plates of passing vehicles. The more technology develops, the more applications of artificial intelligence on a device. One of them is the technology of detecting vehicle number plates automatically using the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) method. Optical character recognition is a technology that is able to convert text in an image into text that can be read by a computer. The results of the study show that this artificial intelligence system can help officers improve the accuracy of monitoring vehicle number plates.

Abstract

Promotion of direct visits to schools is spearheading the introduction of higher education products directly to teachers and students in schools. This activity requires a promotion team that is really expected to be able to introduce higher education products to attract the interest and trust of teachers, especially students, to enter the college. The problem is that so far, recruiting promotion team members is only based on subjectivity and there is no scoring system to select promotion team members objectively. A selection system is needed that is able to provide an objective assessment based on the variables of communication skills, years of service, knowledge, type of employment, area mastery, responsibility, teamwork and trust. The method used is simple additive weighting. The resulting accuracy rate is 90% from the comparison of the calculation results using the simple additive weighting method with the actual performance ratings of employees who are selected as promotion teams.

Abstract

Trading companies, such as automotive product sales companies, of course prepare stock of sales products in the warehouse section. The warehouse department often has difficulty in the process of finding goods. The placement of inventory positions that are not well organized is one of the causes of the warehouse section having difficulty finding goods. The condition of the goods in the warehouse is often placed in an unfavorable position so that the search for goods takes time. This incident is very ineffective if the goods are needed at the time of the sale of goods. This incident also affects the time of making inventory reports. This research was conducted to help the activities of product data processing in the warehouse to be better. Development of a web-based inventory information system using the Economic Order Quantity method. How this method works can provide information about the number of requests is known, constant, independent. Inventory information is available according to customer orders, there are no price discounts and avoid stock outs if there is an order for goods but the goods are not available.
