Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. Abstract

The purposes of this research are to investigate the demand of powdered milk at the household level, to know what factors that influence the demand, to analyze satisfaction level and to know the influencing factors of household consumer satisfaction on consuming powdered milk in Bandar Lampung.  This research was conducted by purposive survey method in traditional, modern, and minimarket in Bandar Lampung.  The samples of this research were 80 people that taken by accidental sampling method.  Data collection was conducted from August until November 2014.  The demand level and its influencing factors were analyzed by using Cobb Douglass function, satisfaction of consuming powdered milk was measured by costumer satisfaction index (CSI), where as the factors that influenced household consumer satisfaction was analyzed by logistic regression analysis.  The result of this research showed that demand of powdered milk which consumed by household consumer was 670 g/ month.  The factor that influenced powdered milk demand was powdered milk cost, liquid milk cost, and income level.  There were 61 consumers felt satisfy with powdered milk performance.  Factors that influence consumer satisfaction level was powdered milk cost and buying location. Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out: (1) dairy farming business income of animal husbandry farming cooperation’s member in South Bandung (KPBS); (2) contributions of economic benefits of cooperation (MEK) to the family income of KPBS’s members; (3) welfare level of KPBS’members. This research was conducted in KPBS working area of cooperation activity center in Pangalengan sub district; the TPK Mekar Mulya and TPK Pangalengan. The locations were selected purposively. Data were collected from February  to April 2013.  Samples of 61 respondent were taken using proportional random sampling. This research used descriptive qualitative analysis method. The results showed that (1) the  farmer’s income  of KPBS’s member  on total cost was Rp8,87,849.56 annually per dairy farming business or Rp2,681,422.59 annually per unit of dairy cow; (2) the economic benefits of cooperation (MEK)amount to perceive directly in non-cash was Rp1,039,832.13 annually. The MEK amount to perceive indirectly in cash was Rp1,458,622.96 annually, and it contributed 5.35% family income of KPBS’s member; (3) 14.75% of KPBS’s member (9 families) were poor and considered as not welfare families.Key  words : breeder, dairy cattle, income, MEK, welfare

Abstract

This research purposes to: (1) analyze the farming financial feasibility of honey pineapple, and (2) know the priority strategies that must be done for the farming development of honey pineapple. This research was located in East Lampung District which was chosen purposively. Respondents taken were 67 farmers. The first purpose was analyzed quantitatively by financial analysis (Net B/C, NPV, IRR and Payback Periode) using compounding factor (CF) and discount factor (DF) 14%. The second purpose was analyzed descriptively by SWOT analysis. The result showed that the farming of honey pineapple in East Lampung is feasible and profitable. Financially the farming was feasible because the value of  NPV and Net B/C were bigger than 1, and the value of IRR was bigger than interest rate. The priority strategies for Farming Development of honey pineapple were ;  (1) utilizing fertile and vast field to increase the production for market domination (2) utilizing the easily available production facilities and suitable climate to increase the production, (3) producing good quality of goods to dominate the market.Key words :  developments strategic, financial analysis,and honey pineapple

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to analize the influencing production factors on the production of hybrid and inbred rice, and know the amount of income and farm income differences between hybrid and inbred rice in Pesawaran Regency. This research was conducted in three villages chosen purposively, namely Sukadadi, Kutoarjo, and Margodadi Villages, from July 2012 to October 2012. The respondents were 62 farmers, consisting of 30 hybrid farmers and 30 inbred farmers. They were chosen by Simple Random Sampling Technique. The research data was included primary and secondary data. The primary data was obtained by interviewing respondents using questionnaires, while the secondary data was obtained by searching various literatures, printed media and some related agencies. The results showed that the influencing production factors on hybrid rice farming in Gedong Tataan District were the land area and seed, whereas the influencing production factors on inbred rice farming were the land area, NPK Phonska fertilizer, and urea fertilizer. Hybrid farming of rice in Gedong Tataan District was profitable with farmers’ average income from rice as Rp 6,840,099.15 per hectare and the inbred rice farming net income received by farmers was Rp 4,867,136.34 per hectare. The R/C ratio on hybrid rice farming was 1.81 and the inbred rice farming was 1.45. There was no significant difference of income between the farmer respondents of hybrid rice and inbred rice farmer respondents. Keywords : factors of production, hybrid, inbred, income

Abstract

The aims of this research are to analyze the financial feasibility and the sensitivity of cocoa monoculture farming and cocoa inter-cropping.  This research was conducted in March-May 2016inpurposivelyselected Bulok District, Tanggamus Regency. The samples of theresearch were30 farmers selected randomly. Research data wer analyzed by using financial feasibility analysis method and sensitivity analysis. The results showed that cocoa monoculture and intercropping  farming were financially profitable and feasible to be developed. The value of Net B/C and Gross B/C were bigger than 1. The value of NPV was bigger than 0 and IRR of cocoa farming was greater than 9% as the used interest rate.  The Pay Period analysis of the cocoa farming system showed thatthe initial cash outflow of investment could be recovered less than 25 years. The feasibility value showed that cocoa intercropping farming was better thancocoa monoculture farming.The changes of sensitivity analysis showed that the production cost increase was 7.26%, the production price decrease was 22% and theproduction quantity decrease was 14%. The results of sensitivity analysis showed that cocoa monoculture farming was more sensitive than cocoa intercropping farming. Key words: cocoa, feasibility, financial, intercropping, sensitivity

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to know the feasibility of bokar processing business.  It was conducted in Mulyo Kencono Village, the Central of Tulang Bawang of Western Tulang Bawang Regency in April to June 2015. The research sample of 60 people were taken from 269 people of the population.  Financial analysis was done by discount factor and compounding factor and then analyzed by four investment criteria: Net B/C, Gross B/C, NPV, and IRR.  The results from the obtained analysis showed that Net B/C was1.58; Gross B/C was 1.08; NPV was Rp95,051,373.41; and IRR was 20 percent. The obtained four investment criteria showed that bokar processing was feasible to be continued.  This research in line with the previous research on a nursery rubber, that the business had been done for business operators was feasible to be continued. In addition, analysis of the scale of venture was done by comparing the number of investment and total business revenues per year against business criteria scale based on UU RI No. 20 in the year of 2008 on micro business, small, and medium. Bokar processing business was a micro business with the level of investment during a period was Rp9,912,860.85 and revenue in a year was Rp33,664,813.13. Key words: financial, marketing, rubber

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to find out: the procurement process of raw materials to meet the six components (precise on time, place, quality, quantity, type, and price), the income and added value of tempeh agroindustry, the marketing mix in the marketing activities of tempeh product, and the supporting services’s role to tempeh agroindustry.  This research is a survey method conducted at purposively  chosen Primkopti in Pesawaran District by consideration that Primkopti was active in business unit and annual member meetings.  The total respondents were 52 respondents selected by random and data were collected in November – Desember 2016.  The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis.  The results showed that the raw material procurement at the tempeh agroindustry did not meet components of time, place, type, quality, quantity, and price.  The income based on total cost per month at tempeh agroindustry was Rp634,831.56.   Tempeh Agroindustry was viable because it had possitive added value and favorable for its R/C  value was more than one.   Tempeh agroindustry marketing strategy already used marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion).   The marketing chain consisted of two tracts which were, manufacturers to consumers and manufacturers to merchant then to consumers.  The marketing system at tempeh agroindustry was not efficient because the profit margin ratio did not spread evenly.  The support services at tempeh agroindustry were information and communication technology, transportation, and market.Key words: agroindustry, cooperative, performance, tempeh

Abstract

This research aims to find out the forward linkage and backward linkage of agroindustry sector on economyin Lampung Province. This research used data from the industries of oil/fat, sugar, rubber and plastic, andcoffee. The analysis method used in this research was Input-Output Analysis. The results showed that theforward linkage index of oil/fat industry, sugar industry, rubber and plastic goods industry, and coffeeindustry were 0.91; 1.15; 0.88; and 0.80. The average of the four values was 0.94. The backward linkageindex of oil/fat industry, sugar industry, rubber and plastic goods industry, and coffee industry were 0.72;0.91; 0.86; and 0.75 , with the average value was 0.81. The forward linkage index and backward linkageindex of agroindustry sector were less than 1. It meant that agroindustry sector had low linkage with othersectors on economy in Lampung Province.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the technical efficiency of soybean farming, the factors that influence the technical efficiency of soybean farming, and to calculate the amount of the income of farmers in soybean farming in SLPTT of Candi  Puro Subdistrict of South Lampung regency.  The research location was selected on purpose (purposive sampling) by the consideration of that the area is a center of soybean production of SL-PTT. The samples number of farmers in the study were 55 farmers. Analyses were performed by using the frontier production function, multiple linear regression, and profit R/C. The results showed that  SL-PTT soybean farming in South Lampung regency was technically inefficient. Technical efficiency of farms in South Lampung regency that was equal to 68.17% and the majority of farmers in the range of 61-70% of technical efficiency. The factors that influenced the technical efficiency of the SL-PTT soybean farming in South Lampung regency were the scale of the business, costs of farming, and farm receipts.  SL-PTT soybean in South Lampung regency was profitable farming for farmers with income derived soybean farmer respondents soybean SLPTT per ha was over the cash cost of Rp6,319,193.50 and above the total revenue cost of Rp 5,565,571.96.  The R/C ratio was above 3.57 and the cash cost of the R/C ratio was 2.73 over the total cost.
