Abstract

The practice of digital begging on TikTok reflects a shift in the perspectives of some Muslims regarding ethical boundaries in the digital public sphere. Activities once considered demeaning are now being exploited as entertainment content to attract attention and profit. This study aims to reevaluate the meaning of the Prophet's hadiths prohibiting begging by adapting them to the context of modern social media. The approach used is qualitative-descriptive, using content analysis of the hadiths and observations of the live streaming phenomenon on TikTok, combined with Islamic ethical principles and the maqāṣid shari'ah (objectives of Islamic law). The results indicate that this practice contradicts core Islamic values, particularly those concerning maintaining self-respect and obtaining sustenance through honorable means. The hadiths studied are not only legally prohibitive but also contain moral values that lead to independence and self-respect. The main finding of this study is that a contextual approach can open new understandings that are more relevant to the challenges of the times, so that the hadiths remain present as ethical guidelines in building a distinguished digital culture.

Abstract

This study examines the problematic between taqlid and ijtihad in the contemporary era through the perspective of hadith, with a comparative approach to the thoughts of Ahmad Hassan and Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani. In the midst of developments marked by scientific progress, widespread access to information, and increasing religious awareness, Muslims are faced with the choice between following the opinions of scholars absolutely (taqlid) or trying to understand religion independently through ijtihad. Ahmad Hassan, as a modernist reformist figure, emphasized the importance of returning to the Qur'an and hadith and rejected blind taqlid. Meanwhile, Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani, a traditionalist scholar, viewed taqlid as a relevant path for the lay community to maintain scientific authority and the continuity of tradition. This study uses a qualitative method with a library study approach and analysis of relevant hadith. The results of the study show that these differences in views are rooted in different social contexts and methodological approaches, but both have the same goal, namely maintaining the integrity of Islamic teachings amidst the dynamics of the times, and this problem needs to be addressed by respecting the opinions of scholars, while still trying to understand Islamic teachings directly from the Qur'an and hadith with critical thinking.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the planning and implementation of the Strategic Management of the Madrasah Principal in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Annuriyah Bontocini, Jeneponto Regency. The research findings indicate that the madrasah principal has successfully implemented strategic management principles regularly and gradually. This process involves three main stages: strategy formulation (internal-external analysis and setting measurable targets), strategy implementation (through comprehensive programs such as training, workshops, academic supervision, and work ethic development), and strategy evaluation and control (periodic monitoring). The implementation of this strategic management proved to bring positive and significant changes to teacher performance. The improvement in teacher performance is notably seen in pedagogical and professional competence, work discipline, initiative, and commitment. Teachers feel more directed and motivated, supported by open communication and clear work direction from the madrasah principal acting as a strategic leader. The madrasah principal plays an important role in aligning all resources with the madrasah's vision and mission and creating a positive work culture. Nevertheless, there are some constraints, such as limited budget, resources, execution time, and variations in individual teacher readiness/motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi manajemen digitalisasi pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan kesiapan peserta didik menghadapi era industri 4.0. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan menelaah berbagai literatur, jurnal, buku, serta kebijakan pendidikan yang relevan dengan digitalisasi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen digitalisasi pembelajaran mencakup empat fungsi utama manajemen, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, serta pengawasan dan evaluasi. Pada tahap perencanaan, sekolah perlu menyusun visi digitalisasi, strategi pengembangan sumber daya manusia, dan infrastruktur TIK. Pada tahap pengorganisasian, pembagian tugas dan tanggung jawab dalam tim digital menjadi faktor penting. Tahap pelaksanaan menekankan pada peningkatan kompetensi digital guru, pengembangan konten digital, dan penerapan platform pembelajaran daring. Sementara itu, tahap pengawasan dan evaluasi dilakukan melalui pemantauan efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan pemberian umpan balik digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan digitalisasi pembelajaran di SMK sangat bergantung pada kepemimpinan sekolah, kesiapan sumber daya manusia, ketersediaan infrastruktur, serta budaya inovasi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze village government financial management in supporting disaster emergency response in high-risk villages in North Lombok Regency. North Lombok Regency is one of the regions in West Nusa Tenggara with the highest level of disaster risk, especially after the 2018 earthquake. In these conditions, village governments are at the forefront of responding to emergency situations. However, village financial management is often not adaptive to emergency conditions. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method in two high-risk villages, namely Akar-Akar Village and Bentek Village. The results show that the budget realization of Sector 5 (Disaster Management, Emergency Situations, and Urgent Villages) reached 98–100% in Akar-Akar Village and 76–100% in Bentek Village during the 2022–2024 period. This achievement demonstrates a commitment to managing village funds responsive to emergencies. However, there are still obstacles in the regulatory aspects and the capacity of village officials. This study recommends the need for affirmative policies in the form of technical guidelines for the use of village funds for emergencies that are more flexible and responsive.

Abstract

Learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI) or Tarikh often faces problems with low student participation and activeness. The problem largely lies in the use of conventional methods that are monotonous and boring. This study aims to design innovative learning based on focused imaging in SKI learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Sidoarjo, which is expected to be a solution not only to increase participation and engagement, but also to improve contextual and problem-based understanding (Problem Based Learning). This method uses a qualitative approach of literature study, reviewing various relevant studies and studies to design innovative learning, and combined with case studies based on student situation analysis. The real implication is that students have the potential to understand history material better because they learn and collaborate in problem-based learning to find solutions and moral values. This innovative learning design uses the method from the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which requires two stages: needs analysis and learning planning. The results of the study describe an outline of innovative visual-based learning, depicting historical concepts concretely, and testing students to understand historical values through case study-based learning. The implication is that learning becomes more conceptual, interesting, and increases interaction between students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in environmental conservation. The focus of the study includes planning the implementation of ecology-based PAI, as well as the opportunities and obstacles faced in its implementation. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained from various relevant literature sources, such as books, journals, and scientific articles. The results of the study indicate that PAI plays a significant role in instilling environmental awareness through religious values such as responsibility as a caliph, prohibition of causing damage, and teachings on maintaining cleanliness and balance of nature. Strategies that can be implemented include integrating environmental values into teaching materials, using contextual learning methods, and cultivating a habit of caring for the environment. Implementing this strategy requires support from all parties, including teachers, schools, parents, and the community. Despite obstacles such as limited teacher knowledge and facilities, this strategy still offers significant potential to shape a generation that cares about environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Pancasila education is often delivered through textual and didactic approaches, which tend to limit active student engagement. This study aims to analyze how Kahoot-based gamification facilitates the internalization of Pancasila values among students of the Arabic Language Education Department at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Therefore, this study employs a qualitative case study design to explore students' learning experiences during gamified instruction. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that Kahoot gamification successfully creates a more interactive, competitive, and collaborative learning environment. Students demonstrated increased intrinsic motivation, marked by spontaneous reactions, increased focus, and consistent engagement throughout the activity. Their understanding of Pancasila values improved through application-based questions that encouraged them to connect concepts with real-life contexts. Gamification also fostered digital civic engagement, reflected in students' sportsmanship, honesty, and adherence to game rules. The lecturer's role as a facilitator was crucial in balancing enjoyment with meaningful value reflection. Although some technical challenges occurred, such as unstable internet connections, these issues did not significantly hinder the learning process.
