Abstract

The world of Islamic education today faces the problem of dualism in knowledge, namely between religious knowledge and modern knowledge, which results in the learning process lacking a complete epistemological foundation. This study emphasizes a single, solid foundation, namely revelation as an epistemological basis capable of collaborating the two. This study focuses on highlighting the authenticity of revelatory texts and their implications for the renewal of modern Islamic education through a literature study using descriptive-analytical methods. The results show that the authenticity of revelation provides a strong foundation and guidance on values and methods for building a more comprehensive and relevant Islamic education. The integration of revelation with modern disciplines encourages the emergence of an educational paradigm oriented towards character, rationality, and technological advancement without abandoning spiritual values. This study confirms that revelation can be a strong foundation in designing an adaptive, superior, and responsive Islamic education system to the challenges of modern civilization, with the hope of producing Muslim scientists who are moral, have integrity, and are able to respond to global challenges.

Abstract

Prenuptial agreement in Indonesia can be understood not only within the framework of positive law, but also from social and gender perspectives. In society, prenuptial agreements are often viewed as a form of protection for economic rights, bargaining positions, and individual autonomy, particularly for women within the household. Social analysis shows that increasing awareness of gender equality encourages couples to negotiate rights and obligations more fairly even before marriage takes place. From a gender perspective, prenuptial agreements function as instruments to prevent the subordination of women, while affirming their rights in managing property and increasingly decisions in marriage. Interviews with couples of productive age individuals that the motivation for drafting prenuptial agreements is not solely related to asset protection but also reflects modern rationality in household relations. In the context of Indonesian positive law, prenuptial agreements are regulated under the Marriage Law and its implementing regulations, thus providing legal legitimacy for such practices. Thus, this study seeks to explain prenuptial agreements as a social phenomenon, an instrument of gender equality, and a legally recognized practice within the legal system.

Abstract

The phenomenon of suicide among university students is a serious problem that is receiving increasing attention, not only from a psychological and sociological perspective, but also from Islamic studies. This article aims to analyze the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW that explain the eschatological consequences of suicide and examine their implications from the perspective of Islamic Education as a preventive and educational effort. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data were obtained from primary sources in the form of authentic hadith books, especially the narrations of Imams al-Bukhari, Muslim, and al-Tirmidhi, as well as secondary sources in the form of hadith commentary books, books, and relevant scientific articles. Data analysis was carried out through a study of the sanad and matan of the hadith, interpretation using the ma'ānī al-ḥadīṡ approach, and pedagogical reinterpretation within the framework of Islamic Education. The results of the study indicate that the hadiths about suicide have authentic sanad and firmly classify suicide as a major sin with the threat of severe punishment in the afterlife. However, scholars interpret the concept of "eternal hell" in various ways, ranging from a literal meaning for those who justify suicide to a metaphorical meaning as a severe threat to Muslims who commit suicide without leaving Islam. In the context of Islamic education, the eschatological consequences of the hadith are not intended to instill excessive fear, but rather as a pedagogical instrument to instill awareness of the value of life, moral responsibility, and mental-spiritual resilience.

Abstract

Micro-enterprises face structural challenges such as limited business legality, low managerial capacity, and restricted market access. These issues indicate the absence of community-based mechanisms that consistently strengthen micro-entrepreneurs' capabilities, particularly in urban settings. This study aims to examine the role of the Skilled and Trusted Entrepreneur Expo (PEXITA) community in empowering micro-entrepreneurs and to formulate strategic directions for strengthening the community using SWOT analysis. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to explore the dynamics of social learning, network-based support, and experiential marketing practices within the community. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations during expo activities, and documentation analysis. The findings show that PEXITA functions as a learning ecosystem that enhances members' technical skills, confidence, and market connections through hands-on involvement in expo events. Managerial capacity and business legality remain substantial challenges, accompanied by the community's dependence on core leaders. The SWOT analysis identifies strategic directions related to administrative strengthening, utilization of external networks, and improvement of organizational governance. This study reinforces the strategic relevance of community-based initiatives for micro-enterprise empowerment and offers a conceptual foundation for developing sustainable community-strengthening models in urban contexts.

Abstract

This study examines verses on marriage with Ahlul Buku through a maqāṣidī interpretation approach in an effort to present a more comprehensive, adaptive, and relevant understanding of contemporary social dynamics. This study is important because the issue of interfaith marriage continues to be debated in Islamic legal discourse and modern family regulations, while many classical readings tend to focus on the literal meaning of the text without considering the objectives of Sharia and the current social context. This study aims to explain the basic concepts of maqāṣidī interpretation, analyze related verses, and assess their relevance and implications in pluralistic family life. The research method is qualitative with a literature review approach, using maqāṣidī steps including verse identification, linguistic and historical context analysis, maqāṣid determination, maslahat-mafsadah evaluation, and formulation of legal recommendations. The results show that the permissibility of marrying Ahlul Buku is conditional and must consider the social impact, protection of faith, and family sustainability. The maqāṣidī approach offers a more proportional answer by placing justice, benefit, and family protection as the main principles. This study recommends strengthening the maqāṣid methodology in tafsir studies, drafting regulations that protect the rights of interfaith family members, and the need for comprehensive premarital education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of quality management in the development of teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 17 Bone through a qualitative, descriptive-interpretive approach. The focus of the study is directed at the stages of planning, implementation, and the impact of quality management on teachers' pedagogic, professional, social, and personality competencies. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, then analyzed descriptive-inductively. The results of the study show that quality management planning has been systematically prepared through needs analysis, selective recruitment, and the preparation of teacher capacity development programs involving various stakeholders. The implementation of quality management is realized through continuous training, academic supervision, and professional coaching, although the effectiveness of supervision still tends to be administrative. The implementation of quality management has a positive impact on improving teacher competence, especially in pedagogic, professional, and work ethic aspects, but strengthening the culture of quality and learning innovation still requires continuous reflective mentoring. This research emphasizes the importance of consistency of instructional leadership and a supervisory system oriented towards continuous improvement in supporting teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Recognition of indigenous legal communities in Indonesia has been constitutionally affirmed in Article 18B paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. However, regulations regarding the recognition and protection of indigenous legal communities are still limited, conditional, and not yet integrated into a comprehensive legal instrument. This article examines the pattern of protection of indigenous legal communities as formulated in the Draft Law on Indigenous Legal Communities and examines various weaknesses and challenges in its implementation. This research uses a normative legal method with a statutory regulatory approach and a case approach. Sources of legal materials include the Draft Law on Indigenous Legal Communities, related laws and regulations, as well as relevant legal literature and scientific articles. The results of the research indicate that this bill has a strategic role in regulating the recognition, protection, customary rights, and institutions of indigenous legal communities. However, the bill still faces several crucial issues, including the absence of a unified national institution to handle indigenous communities, the lack of a clear and equitable funding mechanism, and the potential for overlapping sectoral regulations with forestry, agrarian, and spatial planning laws. This situation has implications for legal uncertainty and the continuation of conflict and criminalization against indigenous communities. Therefore, the ratification of the Indigenous Communities Bill is needed, accompanied by institutional strengthening, a special funding scheme, and harmonization of cross-sectoral regulations to ensure the sustainable protection and empowerment of indigenous communities.

Abstract

AbstractThe success of a business greatly depends on the presence of human resources with high competency and technical skills, supported by optimal performance. To achieve the goals planned by the company, all necessary requirements and infrastructure must be prepared to support the achievement of its targets and planned efforts. Competent human resources and a supportive and conducive work environment significantly contribute to the performance achievements of a company. This study employs a quantitative approach, with questionnaires as the primary tool for collecting data from respondents. The study focuses on mechanics working for contractor companies in the coal mining sector, located in East Kalimantan. The research was conducted using the random sampling method, involving a total of 115 respondents from coal mining contractor companies. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression techniques, assisted by SPSS version 27 software. In 2024, the performance of coal mining contractor projects was recorded to be lower compared to other contractor locations. This situation serves as the background and primary reason for conducting this research on coal mining contractor companies. The results of the study indicate that training has a positive and significant effect on performance achievement, with additional support from the work environment. These findings underline the critical role of employee training and a supportive work environment in driving performance improvements, as observed in coal mining contractor companies in Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate the CINTA-DLT Teacher Training Model (CINTA–Deep Learning Training) to support deep learning and a love-based curriculum in madrasas. The study employed an Educational Design Research (EDR) approach using the Plomp development model with five stages. The participants consisted of five teachers from MTs Al Ikhwan Banjarmasin and three expert validators, and the instruments included interviews, validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and observations. The data were analyzed using interactive qualitative analysis and the Aiken's V validity test. The results showed an Aiken's V value of 0.90 (very valid) and a practicality score of 90% (very practical). Qualitatively, the model improved teachers' understanding of deep learning, internalization of love-based values, pedagogical skills, and professional motivation and reflection. The CINTA-DLT Model comprises five main phases—Connecting Meaning, Internalization, Nurturing Practice, Transformation, and Affirmation—forming a holistic, value-based, reflective, and practice-oriented teacher training framework. Therefore, the CINTA-DLT Model is considered feasible as a humanistic teacher training model aligned with the 2025 Madrasah Curriculum.
