Abstract

Time management is an important part of the implementation of construction projects. The potential for project failure will be even greater without time management. Nowadays, there are many construction projects that have poor performance in terms of time management which causes delays in work. In this final project research, one of the projects managed by PT Prima Graha Bangun Tunggal is the Buin Batu School Swimming Pool Pipe and Pump Machine Installation Project located at Batu Hijau Townsite, Sekongkang, Sumbawa Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat, there was a delay due to a delay in the project due to structural work carried out by the main contractor has not been completed so that the sparring installation work for the pipes also experienced delays, delays in finishing work by the main contractor caused by materials arriving late at the project site, late validation or approval of material specifications from the contractor, and late material delivery due to payments that have not been made by the owner to the contractor. This study aims to accelerate time using the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) methods in the Buin Batu School Swimming Pool Pipe and Pump Machine Installation Project. Data analysis using CPM and PERT methods is to analyze which activities are included in the critical path in order to obtain the optimal duration for the method. From the results of research using the CPM method, 11 activities were obtained in the critical path with a total duration of 114 days where this duration is 95 days faster than the duration of the plans due to the delay in the project. Meanwhile, using the PERT method, 11 activities on the critical path were obtained with a total duration of 123 days which had a difference of 86 days faster than the duration of the plans due to the delay in the project. The probability that the project can be completed in a duration of 123 days is 99.94%. From these results, it can be seen that the CPM scheduling method has the most optimal duration compared to the PERT method.

Abstract

Increasingly fierce competition, operational management, especially raw material management, has become a major challenge for many businesses. Therefore, companies or businesses that want to achieve maximum profits need a good and accurate sales prediction strategy for the coming period. Good predictions not only help in anticipating market needs, but also optimize inventory management to minimize the risk of losses due to excess or shortage of stock. The use of good forecasting algorithms is the main key so that companies can analyze historical data in depth to identify relevant patterns and trends so that they can improve operational efficiency. This research aims to compare two forecasting algorithm methods, namely Exponential Smoothing and Moving Average, in determining which method is superior in terms of sales prediction accuracy. The data used in this research comes from historical sales of Kopi Cucu Eyang Coffee Shop. Performance evaluation of the two algorithms was carried out using three main metrics, Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The research results show that the Moving Average method is superior in MAPE accuracy with an average of 23%. On the other hand, Single Exponential Smoothing shows superiority in balancing MAD and MSE in certain products. It is hoped that this research can provide useful recommendations to improve inventory management efficiency and support better business decision making.

Abstract

Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) is a modern concrete innovation that has the ability to flow and compact itself without the help of a vibration device. SCC concrete has almost the same composition as normal concrete, only the difference in the viscosity produced. The use of superplasticizer in SCC concrete is needed to improve the flowability of concrete without reducing the strength of the concrete. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence resulting from the use of GGBFS as a cement substitution on the value of flowability, passing ability, and compressive strength applied to SCC concrete. The variation of GGBFS used was 0%; 5%; 10%; 15%; 20%; and 25% and the addition of a superplasticizer of 1.2% of the total weight of cement. The planned compressive strength is 40 MPa with the procedure for making concrete referring to SNI 7656 – 2012. The flowability and passing ability tests carried out are slump flow, L-box test, and V-funnel. The test results show that the use of GGBFS will affect the flowability and passing ability and increase the compressive strength as the GGBFS used increases. The maximum compressive strength occurred at a 20% GGBFS variation of 43.687 MPa.

Abstract

Walls are non-structural components that function as a barrier between two spaces. Applying walls usually takes a long time and is expensive. However, one of the results of the development of precast concrete technology is panel walls. Currently, there is little innovation in the manufacture of precast wall panel moldings. Wall panel molding motifs are also not widely used. However, problem packages must be made into topics or learning models that involve student participation to support students' problem-based learning (PBL) practices in the Civil Engineering Study Program. This research aims to create a precast wall panel molding tool that meets strength standards and meets market requirements. The stages of this research include the preparation of research materials and collection of reference lists, design of precast wall panel molding tools, strength analysis of precast wall panel molding tools, and manufacture of precast wall panel molding tools. Abstract

The use of Terminal Electronic Parking (TPE) is one of the innovative solutions to overcome parking management challenges on the National Institute of Technology (Itenas) campus. This study aims to identify the key factors that influence the acceptance of this technology using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. This study involves variables of Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Attitude Toward Using (AT), Behavioral Intention to Use (BI), and Actual Use (AU). Data was obtained through an online survey involving 95 active respondents. Analysis using SEM-PLS showed that perceived ease of use plays an important role in shaping perceived usefulness and user attitude towards TPE. User attitudes and behavioral intentions were shown to have a significant impact on the actual adoption of this system.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of HVS paper ash (Hout vrij schrijfpapier) as a substitute for cement in concrete mixtures. HVS paper is one of the most widely used wastes by humans, generally used in government, private, and school agencies. This research aims to evaluate the slump value, assess the concrete compressive strength value, analyze the impact of using paper ash on concrete compressive strength using the ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) method, and study the type of cracks in each concrete sample based on ASTM C39-18 standards. The variations used were 0%, 10%, 15%, and 20% as cement substitution. The average compressive strength of each sample was 20.2 MPa, 23.3 MPa, 20.4 MPa, and 18.3 MPa, respectively. This increase occurred because paper ash has a higher silica content compared to Portland cement. However, the use of paper ash requires an activator to accelerate the mechanical properties of the paper ash itself. The activator used in this research is NaOH with a level of 4 mol. Thus, the increase in compressive strength produced by paper ash can be used as normal concrete.

Abstract

Lina Store is a business that operates in trading activities which always plans the purchase of goods for product availability in the store. In planning the purchase of goods in the shop, it is still done only with estimates, so it is difficult to determine the purchase of goods for inventory in the shop. To overcome this problem, researchers built an information system using the moving average method to calculate planning for purchasing goods to meet customer demand. The information system built is an information system for planning stock purchases at the Lina store using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework, MySQL database and run using an offline server, namely XAMPP. The results of this research are that this research has succeeded in designing and building a web-based information system for planning purchases of goods at Lina stores to overcome problems and improve the planning process for purchasing goods at Lina stores and applying the moving average method with a calculation period of 3 months. This system will be able to help Lina's shop determine the number of purchases of each item in the following month. Keywords : Moving Average, Purchases, Inventory, Information System

Abstract

Transportation is the movement of people or goods from place to place and has two types of land and sea transport. Land transportation includes road transport, such as cars, buses, and motorcycles, as well as trains. One part of land transport is the public transport terminal, the railway station. The railway station serves as a stop or transit point for passengers built to meet the needs of passengers. According to the Directorate General of Railways, existing railway stations in Indonesia can be categorized by class and function. Cimahi Station is a type C station located in Baros Village, Central Cimahi District, Cimahi City, West Java. There are several factors that can affect the performance of stations that provide good facilities and services. The influencing factors are convenience, safety, accessibility, and ease of the station. Thus, in this study, it will discuss passenger circulation patterns, vehicle circulation patterns, parking area conditions, and parking performance at Cimahi Station. The research methodology used is observation and questioning of Cimahi Station users. The result was found that the passenger circulation pattern was a linear pattern, while for the vehicle circulation pattern there was one entrance and exit at the station. The layout of passenger and vehicle circulation patterns is described using AutoCAD. The condition of the parking area at Cimahi Station is used only for two- and four-wheeled vehicles, but the parking capacity of car users is less than that of motorcycle users. And also in the parking performance of Cimahi Station has different perceptions from car and motorbike users. In terms of convenience, convenience, safety, and accessibility factors for motorbike users, the value is higher than that of car users.

Abstract

Fatigue is one of the main factors that can reduce performance and increase the risk of workplace accidents, especially for tower crane operators who are responsible for operating heavy equipment in construction environments. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of fatigue measurement using a mobile application versus a manual-based approach. It also aims to determine whether the features provided in the mobile application meet the needs of workers. The methods used include field observation, questionnaire distribution, interviews, and effectiveness testing through field studies involving tower crane operators at a construction project. The results of the study show that the use of mobile applications is more effective in measuring fatigue and more efficient in monitoring fatigue compared to manual measurements. It also enables early detection of potentially hazardous fatigue. Therefore, the mobile application can serve as an innovative solution to support occupational safety and risk management in the construction industry. However, additional features are needed in the application to measure fatigue factors such as travel condition and work environment condition.
