Abstract

Abstract Student biology learning outcomes are still low (under the KKM) caused by several things, both those originating from students, teachers and facilities and infrastructure that are underutilized. The purpose of this class action research is to increase the learning activities and learning outcomes of students after participating in the biology learning process with a GI (Group Investigation) type of cooperative learning model. The research method used was Classroom Action Research which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings and four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 30 students of Class XI MIPA-2, consisting of 7 men and 23 women. The research instrument used was a test of learning outcomes in the form of objective tests in the form of multiple choice and essays or descriptions. The results showed that the application of the GI (Group Investigation) type of cooperative learning model could increase students' learning activities and outcomes. The results of the first cycle of activity amounted to 76.67 percent, classical learning completeness 80 percent with an average of 74.61. And in the second cycle of activity by 90 percent, classical learning completeness 93.33 percent with an average of 80.83 Thus the second cycle has met the target achievement indicator (IPH), because it has reached more than 85 percent. There is a correlation (relationship) with the high category between activity and learning outcomes, which is 0.820 in cycle I and 0.854 in cycle 2.

Abstract

The use of illustrated media of piano keys to improve learning outcomes for Class X MIPA 6 SMA Negeri 1 Purwareja Klampok Academic Year 2019/2020 ". This research was carried out with the aim of describing how much improvement in the material applied to the pictorial media of piano keys with student learning outcomes and to describe changes in student attitudes (attention, activeness and responsibility) in increasing the basic competencies of playing piano techniques for Class X MIPA - 6 students. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that there was an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes, in the pre-cycle it was only 44.5%, while after learning for the first cycle the percentage of student learning increased from 44.5 to 86% and for an increase in learning achievement in cycle II was 100%. . Learning using pictorial media in this case is piano keys can also improve behavior or effectiveness of students to be more enthusiastic and active so that communication between students is well established and makes students have the character of a sense of responsibility, discipline, hard work and respect for the opinions of friends. Based on these data, it can be concluded that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes before using the piano key-illustrated media learning model, both in cycle I and cycle II. This is because the pictorial learning model can provide new experiences to students so that students can explore individual abilities with existing facilities. There was a change in the positive behavior of students from cycle I to cycle II when learning took place, students respected more what should be done and what should not be done, such as student attention, questioning responses, taking notes, group discussion activities, and not bothering friends who Finally, it affects the level of self-confidence of students to be able to play the piano in a relaxed, relaxed manner and in accordance with the rules of playing piano techniques.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase students’ creativity and science learning outcomes. It was conducted in SMP N 1 Bawang. It employed Classroom Action Research carried out within 2 cycles. The methods used in the learning process mind map and index card match. Data were obtained through tests and observations. In the first cycle, there were 59.38% of students who showed a good predicate of creativity. The completeness of learning outcomes is 75% with an average of 73.47. In the second cycle, there were 81.25% of students who were included in the good creativity category. The completeness of learning outcomes is 90.63% with an average of 81.63. The application of this method gives an impact on increasing creativity and students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the activeness and skills of maintaining light vehicle engines, using the Detik Smart (Membuat Video Praktik Dengan Smartphone). This research was conducted by students from August to November 2019, in class XII Automotive B (OB) SMK Negeri 1 Magelang in the odd semester 2019/2020 academic year. This study uses a classroom action method. Data collection techniques used observation sheets to obtain data about student activity. Meanwhile, to obtain data on the skills to maintain light vehicle engines, this study used theoretical and practical tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive comparative followed by reflection. The research carried out in two cycles. Cycle I contains actions in the form of a teaching and learning process using the Detik Smart learning technique as a group, where one group collects 1 video. In cycle II, learning was perfected by a teaching and learning process using the Detiksmart learning technique individually, where each student collects 1 practical video. The results of the action show that the use of the Detik Smart method is able to increase the activeness of the practice of maintaining light vehicle engines. The class average score increased from the initial condition of 67% to 76% in the first cycle and to 83% in the second cycle. This score shows that the condition of the average activity of students increases from the less active to the active category. In addition, the use of the Detik Smart method was also able to improve the skills to maintain light vehicle engines. While the students' skill scores in the initial conditions were obtained at 73.20. After taking the action in the first cycle, the class average score increased to 78.75. Then in the second cycle it also rose to 81.30. The lowest value in the initial conditions is 40.25, increasing to 73.50. Meanwhile, the highest value in the initial conditions was 82.50, increasing to 91.50 in the second cycle.

Abstract

This article present an application of guided inquiry learning model and optimization of structured task to improve chemistry learning outcomes and form good character in class XEA students of SMK Negeri I Magelang for the 2018/2019 academic year. This Reseach was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle data collection and analysis were carried out. The assesment is carried out based on student answer and results of the evaluation of each competency studied. The result showed a significant relationship between learning with the guided inquiry learning model and the optimization of structured task with chemistry learning outcomes and good character building in student.

Abstract

The purpose of this Classroom Action Research is to improve the activeness and the writing skills of recount text in the class VIII B students of SMP Negeri 1 Banjarnegara through the Discovery Learning strategy with the BIN KPK technique. The research method used was Classrooom Action Research. The subject of this study used 32 students of class VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Banjarnegara in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, consisting of 12 male students and 20 female students. The results show that through the use of the Discovery Learning strategy with the BIN KPK technique, the activeness of students in the learning process has increased significantly when compared to the results of observations in pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II, namely 14, 25, 30. or 43.75%, 78.13%, 93.75%, and learning outcomes (writing recount text skills) of students experienced an increase in each cycle. The initial completeness according to the indicators of the pre-cycle 13 students or 40.63%, in the first cycle the completeness according to the indicators of students became 26 students or 81.25%, while in the second cycle the completeness of students became 31 students or 96.87%. This method becomes reference for other teachers in teaching genres.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of image assisted modeling method to improve poetry reading skills of fourth grade students at SDN Tampirkulon 2, Candimulyo Sub-District, Magelang Regency. The research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN Tampirkulon 2, Candimulyo District, Magelang Regency, consisting of 3 students. This research used the research design of Prof. Suharsimi Arikunto. Methods of data collection were observation and performance test. The data analysis method used was qualitative and descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that the implementation of image assisted modeling method is able to improve poetry reading skills of fourth grade students at SDN Tampirkulon 2, Candimulyo Sub-District, Magelang Regency. It can be seen from the improved results of each cycle which and the achievement of indicators of success. In the first cycle, the percentage of classical completeness was 33% or 1 out of 3 students completed with an average value of 70.8. While in the second cycle there was an increase in the students' poetry reading performance score, in which 67% or 2 out of 3 students completed with an average score of 79.2.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to improve reading skills and how to improve students' reading skills using the cooperative script method at SDN 3 Krobokan semester 1 of the 2021/2022 academic year. This research method uses classroom action research (CAR) in which this research is carried out in stages and multicycles in order to obtain valid data. The steps for implementing CAR are research planning, research implementation, observation of results, and reflection. This research was conducted in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 3 Krobokan, Juwangi District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Krobokan, in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 14 students, of which 6 of the 14 students were male, and 8 other students were female. The results of this study are to improve the reading skills of fourth graders, it is necessary to apply a cooperative script learning model. Because this model requires students to play an active role in the group learning process. This learning model requires students to pair up and also exchange information from the texts they have read, so that their reading skills can unconsciously develop. Judging from the results of the cycle test the implementation of the cooperative script model experienced a significant increase, namely, the average value before the implementation of the cooperative script model was 46.42. After the researchers conducted research in cycle 1, the average value of the fourth graders rose to 77.85. After the first cycle research was successful, the researcher continued the second cycle research, namely, to cycle 2 students' reading skills also increased, namely, the average value became 86.42.

Abstract

This study aims to test the Cooperative Learning model based on interpersonal intelligence in social studies subjects is able to improve the social skills of fourth grade elementary school students. The research design used was CAR using 3 cycles with 6 meetings. The research subjects in this study were 32 students, who had low social skills. The variables in the study consisted of 3 variables, namely input variables: Fourth grade students have low social skills, process variables: the use of Interpersonal Intelligence-based Cooperative Learning Learning Models in Social Studies Subjects Class IV, output variables: improve students' social skills in the new normal era. The data collection in this research is in the form of observations that reveal data about the development of social skills in Cooperative Learning activities based on interpersonal intelligence. The results showed that the social skills of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Alternatif Kota Magelang students increased. Before the action was taken, most of the students had low and moderate social skills. However, in Cycle III, it can be seen that there was an increase in students' social skills, namely (6.3%) having good category social skills and (93.3%) having very good social skills category. The conclusion is that the social skills of fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Alternatif Kota Magelang can be improved when children are invited to apply learning using a Cooperative Learning model based on interpersonal intelligence.

Abstract

This study aimed to increase the reading interest of class II students at SDN Kemirirejo 1 after the covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted to resolve the main issue at SDN Kemirirejo 1: the teacher's strategy was not yet optimal for increasing students' interest in reading in learning. The research method used is classroom action research. The subjects of this research are 28 students. The instrument used in the measurement is a questionnaire of reading interest as the main instrument, tests, observations, and interviews as the supporting instrument. The data analysis used was descriptive percentages. This study uses interactional analysis to examine the data quantitatively and qualitatively. The minimum completeness criteria (KKM) for learning outcomes is determined at 70, while the criteria for research success are determined classically at 80%. The results showed an increase in interest and learning outcomes in all cycles. In the pre-cycle, students' interest was obtained with a level of 45%, Indonesian language learning outcomes with an average value of 49, and classical minimum completeness criteria obtained at 40%. In the first cycle, students' interest was obtained at 65%, Indonesian language learning outcomes at 69, and the classical minimum completeness criteria obtained at 67%. In the second cycle, students' interest was obtained with a level of 86% and Indonesian language learning outcomes with 79, and the minimum completeness criteria classically obtained at 100%. There was an increase in reading interest in the first cycle by 20% and in the second cycle by 24%. The increase in learning outcomes has an average increase in learning outcomes of 10 points, with an increase in mastery of 27% in the first cycle, and an average increase of 10 points, with a 21% increase in mastery in the second cycle. In acquiring reading interest and learning outcomes, there is a significant increase in the one week one book strategy in learning Indonesian.
