Early childhood research journal (ECRJ) publishes scientific articles in the field of pure and applied science about early childhood education including innovative and creative learning and teaching on early childhood education, detection of growth and development for early childhood, early childhood studies about nutrition and health. Abstract

The development of children's religious and moral values is the child's ability to behave and behave. The development of moral religious values for children is related to polite behavior, maintaining good speech, adhering to religious teachings in life. The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of moral religious values in early childhood through exemplary methods. This research uses qualitative research with a literature review method. Methods: References in the form of primary articles of approximately 20 articles, 15 national journals with a period of 5 years, and international journals with a term of 7 years that are accredited and reputable. The sample of this research is related to the value of moral religion in children / exemplary methods with journal criteria selected were: 1) an experimental research; 2) respondents are early childhood; 3) the independent variable is an exemplary method and the dependent variable is the development of religious and moral values; 4) the treatment given is exemplary influence / another factor that can increase the development of religious and moral values in early childhood. Results and discussion: the literature review states that the moral religious values of children in this study are exemplary parents and teachers, exemplary is a dominant problem, the development of children's religious and moral values can be influenced by several factors, including deliberate and unintentional role models, use of audio-visual media, storytelling method, VCD media, role-playing, singing method, habituation method, traditional games, IMTAQ center. Conclusion: exemlpary methods can influence children’s development and the development of moral religious values can be developed in a variety of ways.

Abstract

Art is very important in human life, especially for early childhood development. The function of art in education is to develop early childhood development both physically and mentally. Good learning methods are fun and appropriate to the level of children's needs. The learning process seeks to develop the potential for various aspects of development, such as NAM, physical motor, social emotional, cognitive, language, and art. The purpose of this study is to examine literature, articles and research documents that identify the application of dance learning to gross motor skills of early childhood . To develop children's physical motor development, it can be done by using dance learning methods. Learning the art of dance is expressive, creative and imaginative so that it can trigger children's enthusiasm to carry out activities. In addition, learning the art of dance also develops creativity and helps children's physical and spiritual development. Through the basic movements of the dance, the child's gross motor skills will be trained so that the child's development will develop optimally. The research method used was literature review research in the form of scientific articles with a total of approximately 20 articles consisting of 15 national journals and 5 international journals. Results and discussion: this study obtained the results that the application of learning dance to gross motor skills of children obtained positive results due to significant changes. Conclusion: that there is an influence in the development of the art of dance on gross motor skills of early childhood.

Abstract

Aim This study aims to examine the literature, articles and research documents that identify language maturation in communication in children aged 5-6 years. Method This study is a qualitative study with a literature review method based on reviews of national journals and international journals. The sampling technique used is reference in the form of primary articles of less than 20, 15 national journals with a period of 5 years and international journals with a period of 7 years that are quality, accredited and reputable. The results indicate that language maturation in communication can be done by sharing ways such as using flash cards, letterbox media, using songs during learning, using audio-visual media.

Abstract

Fine motor skills are an aspect of development that is emphasized in early childhood education. AbilityFine motor skills are developed from an early age in order to have the skills to coordinate the eye and hand. The research objective is to examine the literature, articles and research documents that identify problems in improving fine motor skills of early childhood. Methods: references in the form of primary articles of approximately 20 articles 15 national journals with a period of 5 years and international journals with a period of 7 years with accredited quality and reputation. This research uses qualitative research with literature review method. The samples of this research are: 1) Related to fine motoric development of early childhood, 2) Respondents are early childhood, 3) The independent variable is problematics and the dependent variable is fine motor skills, 4) The treatment given is a problem which can improve fine motor skills. Results and discussion: The Literature Review states that media can affect fine motor skills, including pencil shavings collage,constructive play with paper, unit beam, playdough, kirigami. method can have an effect on improving fine motor skills, that isu aquatic / water learning, cutting activities, collage activities, cutting and pasting activities, demonstration methods, printing activities using banana leaves, coloring pictures, practical life in montessori education, interactive writing. There are several factors that can affect the improvement of fine motor skills, namely counseling through play activities, learning plans, learning preparation, learning environment, being overweight, and motivation.. Conclusion: learning media, learning methods are problems that do not dominate, but there are other factors that are problematic in improving fine motor skills, including counseling through play activities, lesson plans, learning preparation, learning environment, overweight, and motivation.

Abstract

Improving the ability of children's creativity needs to be improved to find out how to develop children's creativity through art activities. art is very important and very influential in the process of growth and development of early childhood in various aspects. Early childhood will more easily accept the fun learning process, with learning and dominating the child. With various art activities that provide opportunities for children so that children can develop their creativity through art activities such as visual arts and performance art consisting of pictures, paintings, collages, clay, wood, playdough, songs, the combination of movements, musical instrument play, drama and many more, to develop creativity lift the talents and potential possessed by early childhood. So that children can freely express themselves to foster children's creativity to create something new that will further develop. This study uses qualitative research with the literature review method.

Abstract

Fine motor skills are one aspect of development that must be developed in early childhood. This aspect relates to physical movements that involve small muscles, such as coordination between the eyes and hands in carrying out several activities, such as grasping, drawing, sticking, shaping and tracing. Objective:: To examine literature, journals and research documents that identify through used materials which are useful tools in developing fine motor skills at an early age. Method: Search for research journals using specific words in the period 2015-2020. There were 65 research journals on fine motor skills and the use of used goods as useful tools both nationally and internationally, 27 journals met the criteria, 38 journals did not meet the criteria, only 20 selected journals met the criteria. 15 national journals and 5 international journals. Results and discussion: Literature review shows that using used materials as a useful tool can significantly help develop fine motor skills in early childhood. Statistical analysis proves that this method can increase the knowledge and actions of parents, teachers, and the community in using used goods as useful tools. Conclusion: Using used goods can significantly develop children's fine motor skills by making it a useful tool.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the effect of learning principles on the quality of learning. 2) effective contribution of learning principles to the quality of learning. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The population is 72 teachers from 13 kindergartens in Pendopo District. A sample of 61 teachers was taken using the Slovin formula, the sampling technique used was proportional random sampling. Collecting data from the principles of learning and the quality of learning using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the study show that: 1) there is a positive influence between the application of learning principles on the quality of learning. 2) the effective contribution of the application of learning principles to the quality of learning is 65.1%, while the remaining 34.9% is from variables not examined.

Abstract

Aim This research is early childhood as someone who is just starting the stage of development in the world with various experiences that children get. Children have their own weaknesses and strengths where the weaknesses and strengths of the child need to be considered and then developed according to their talents. This research can be a source to motivate children aged 5-6 years to like writing as a way of preparing themselves to enter school to the next level. Method is research articles from several "databases" using certain keywords in the period 2003-2020. There are 13 national journal articles and 5 international journal articles that meet the criteria in these keywords. The results showed that writing activities for early childhood can be done in various ways such as writing with comics, writing with pictorial media, writing with the obstacle course method so that learning to write becomes more effective and children become more cheerful in developing their fine motor skills in the field of writing.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a traditional children's game-based learning model to train visual-spatial intelligence of kindergarten students. A descriptive qualitative method was employed to describe systematic, factual, and accurate facts, properties, and the relationship between the phenomena studied. This study also uses holistic reflection methods through the meaning of learning games for children which can promote their visual-spatial abilities. The students of TKIT Al-Hikmah Secang, Magelang were involved as the research subjects. The results indicate that traditional games can train children’s visual-spatial intelligence and such games can be revived. The applied learning model offers moral and social education and is strongly suggested to be implemented in early education to strengthen visual-spatial intelligence and the other multiple intelligences.

Abstract

According to the theory of Sr. Bondreward and punishment functions to influence positive responses or negative responses. The purpose of a positive response is to change someone's behavior for the better so that their good behavior will always repeat or increase. Meanwhile, the purpose of negative responses is to eliminate someone's bad behavior. Discipline is generally understood as personality and proper rules with certainty or personality that is gained from training such as, for example, "discipline in the classroom" (Dr. Thomas Gordon, 1996: 3). This study aims to analyze a literature, scientific articles, journals and documents. This study has the results to determine the application of reward and punishment when building characteristicsearly childhood discipline. In tracing research articles carried out in several databases using a word and the concept of special privileges in the 2016-2020 period. From several searches, it was found that 100 national and international research journals, 65 journals met the criteria, 35 journals did not meet the criteria and 20 journals met the criteria consisting of 15 national journals and 5 international journals. Literature review shows that the application of reward and punishments when building characteristicsearly childhood discipline Early stages have variations in several aspects of research design, sample and population (individuals involved), variables, methods, data analysis, specificity, and effectiveness. From statistical data analysis, it shows that a method used can increase the knowledge and actions of parents. Application of reward and punishments when building characteristicsearly childhood disciplinecan form discipline and change attitudes or behavior of children for the better.
