Abstract

Early Childhood learning prioritizes developing cognitive intelligence rather thanaffective intelligence or character building. This research is a type of exploratory descriptiveresearch. Exploratory descriptive research aims to describe the state of a phenomenon. Thisresearch is not intended to test certain hypotheses, only to describe what a variable, symptomor condition is. This research wants to further analyze related to early childhood charactereducation based on Kohlberg using literature studies obtained from various scientificsources. The urgency of character education for each individual is an absolute thing to do asan effort to build a generation that contributes to the progress of the nation. Charactereducation efforts certainly cannot escape from the psychological aspects contained inindividuals which may influence the process of achieving the success of character buildingitself. One of the most significant individual psychological aspects for the development ofindividual personality is the moral aspect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inculcation of aqidah education in children. It is very important to instill aqidah education from an early age, so that children can understand the Oneness of Allah SWT so that when the child grows up he will grow up with a strong faith. The research method in this research is library research by analyzing various references such as journals, books and various other reading sources related to the discussion in this study. The research results obtained from this study are that aqidah education must be applied from an early age because this period is a determining period for the future. Planting aqidah education can be done in various ways, while the method recommended by Rasulullah SAW is to teach the word Allah in the early days when children start learning to speak, then continue with the sentence of monotheism, instilling a sense of love for Allah and Rasulullah SAW, in the early days of awareness, knowledge, and the ability to distinguish between good and bad, teaching the Qur'an to children, starting with short letters, then long letters, also accompanied by the habit of reading and listening to the recitation, and getting children to pray at the age of seven years.

Abstract

Metode daring sebagai langkah inisiatif  penerapan pembelajaran pada masa pandemi Covid-19, namun guru TK masih menghadapi beragam tantangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi guru TK selama menerapkan pembelajaran daring. Metode deskriptif-kualitatif. digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Enam guru dari tiga TK di Kota Yogyakarta sebagai informan dalam penelitian ini yang diseleksi menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran menjadi lebih banyak karena guru harus membuat video berdurasi singkat untuk menjelaskan kegiatan pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan anak di rumah dan guru perlu membagi jadwal pembelajaran daring setiap minggu. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran sering kali tidak tepat waktu, orang tua tidak bisa menemani anak mengikuti pembelajaran daring, dan keterbatasan sarana pembelajaran daring. Evaluasi pembelajaran belum optimal karena pembelajaran daring hanya dilaksanakan seminggu sekali dan masih ada orang tua yang tidak bisa mengirimkan bukti pembelajaran anak di rumah melalui bentuk video. Strategi dalam mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi dengan cara selalu membangun komunikasi yang positif dan bekerja sama dengan orang tua, memotivasi anak, dan mengunjungi rumah anak.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays an important role in achieving sustainable development at a young age. In other words, Education for Sustainable Development can be considered as educational development to utilize education and achieve sustainability in PAUD. The aim of this research is to find out children from low-income families about their interest in going to school. This research method uses literacy studies. The results of this research are that the low interest of children in developing countries, especially children whose parents have low incomes, to continue their studies is a challenge for the education system. Therefore, the education system as the main component should be able to meet special needs to empower individuals not only to acquire knowledge but also to develop awareness of values and virtues, in making decisions, and exploiting their potential in all areas of life. and work for individuals and society. The overall impact of the studies in these SDGs is attention to the role of Education in Sustainable Development among young children and developmental education with a focus on taking a child-oriented perspective, which can be extended to all young learners around the world.

Abstract

Early childhood is a very appropriate age to practice independence, because this is a very important aspect for every early childhood. In training aspects of child independence must be carried out regularly, continuously and continuously and in accordance with the age of the child. Providing stimulation and habituation regularly and directed , will make the child more independent faster . The behavior modification method with economic tokens is one of the methods that has been researched and proven to be effective to be applied to increase the independence of early childhood . This study aims to increase the independence of group A kindergarten children in Tamansari 02 Village, Kerjo District, Karanganyar Regency by using economic tokens . The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test. The data collection technique uses a check list instrument totaling 16 items. The subjects of this study amounted to 7 child . The data analysis that the researcher used was the paired sample t test method . From the results of the study it was found that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test independence scores after the child was given treatment p 0.05 (p = 0.000). From these data it has been proven that the application of economic tokens is effective and can increase the independence of group A kindergarten children in Tamansari 02 Village, Kerjo District, Karanganyar Regency.

Abstract

In this current era, many children do not understand and unfamiliar with prosocial behaviour according to the beliefs of their own religion. There are still many children who have not been able to internalize teir religion values in everyday life. The purpose of this study to develop prosocial behaviour and increase faith through the habit of worship which is carried out every Friday. The method of research is a qualitative approach using interview, observation, and documentation methods. The result of this research is habituation act, every Friday it is carried out through sharing activities and the practice of prayer together can develop prosocial behaviour and increase religious values in early childhood in accordance with the Child Development Achievement Level Standards (STPPA).

Abstract

The phenomenon of male participation as preschool teachers turns out to have a positive impact in overcoming moral decline in early childhood. The form of this effort is to nurture Islamic moral education as early as possible. The purpose of this study was to find out the form and the supporting factors for the role of preschool male teachers in Islamic moral education. The research method is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were a male teacher, two female teachers, and two children caretaker at TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Ngawi. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of preschool male teachers has a positive impact on inculcating Islamic morality in early childhood. The findings of this study are, the form of the role of preschool male teachers in Islamic moral education, namely, exemplary, habituation, and advice. Factors supporting the role of preschool male teachers in Islamic moral education, namely the presence of school programs and parental support.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the stages of drawing work for children aged 5-6 years in the Bakti Ibu Begajah Playgroup, Sukoharjo District, Sukoharjo Regency. Based on the results of observations of children's drawing work put forward by Lowendfeld and Brittam, children aged 5-6 years are included in the pre-drawn period. Judging from the Observation instrument for the stages of drawing eight children aged 5-6 years, there is one child in the fifth stage, one child in the sixth stage, one child in the eighth stage and three children showing the ninth stage, one child in the tenth stage and the last one in the eleventh stage. Most of the children showed the results of the drawing in the nine stages of drawing observation. It was concluded that children's drawing results show different stages of the development of children's drawing with different characteristics and patterns of children aged 5-6 years because they are influenced by several factors such as interests, learning experiences, lifestyle and the environment around the child. By understanding the stages of drawing children, it can make it easier for educators to provide appropriate and directional stimulation to the next drawing stage.

Abstract

Children are the foundational generation for the development of a country, so character formation must be done from an early age. Nowadays children are less interested in traditional games and prefer games on gadgets. Teachers have a role in strengthening character. The purpose of this study is to apply the traditional game of ucing-ucing in play and games courses to strengthen the character of early childhood. It is hoped that the results of this research can be useful for prospective PGPAUD teachers so that they are motivated and be creative in the learning process. This research employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and test techniques (cycle 1 and cycle 2). The results show that there is an increase in quite a variety of traditional games that need to be explored and developed, one of which is the ucing-ucing game because it contains values such as honesty, responsibility, and cooperation. By using the traditional games, children can maintain concentration, knowledge, attitudes, skills and agility, which are purely carried out by the human brain and body. The results of observations in cycles 1 and 2 experienced an increase from 65% to 85%.

Abstract

The principles of parenting related to character development, including exemplary, togetherness in realizing moral values, democratic behavior, honesty, the ability to appreciate children's development and unity of words and actions. The original purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in the formation of children's character in RA. Al-Miftah, knowing the conflicts that parents face in making children's characters and revealing the consequences of the role of parents on the character of early childhood. as a result of interviews using a group B teacher to be a class teacher at RA. the teacher of group B stated that the students were conducted by class teachers and accompanying teachers. Assistant teachers are assigned to identify children with special needs in care. Identification of learning needs is carried out using an exclusive plunge into the field, delivering instruments and guidance. Based on the data that has been observed by researchers regarding the role of parents in shaping the character of their students, most of the parents answered that they often guided 6 people (60%), who answered that they often guided their children as much as 4 people (40%), and those who answered do not guide their children. there are no children (0%), then the conclusion of the respondents regarding the involvement of parents in the formation of the character of students is very good.
