Abstract

Literasi dan Numerasi memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan siswa. Keterampilan literasi memungkinkan siswa untuk mengakses pengetahuan, meningkatkan komunikasi, memecahkan masalah, dan menjadi mandiri dalam pembelajaran. Kemampuan numerasi membantu siswa memahami dan menggunakan konsep matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, serta memberikan fondasi yang kuat untuk pemecahan masalah dan kesempatan karir yang lebih baik. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan agar kemampuan literasi dan numerasi meningkat adalah dengan menghafal Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah metode menghafal Al-Qur'an memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Karangtanjung Pandeglang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain The Experimental Design yang mengadopsi bentuk Posttest-Only Control Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar tes sebagai instrumen penelitian. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas VIII.A dan VIII.B di SMPN 1 Karangtanjung, dengan kelas VIII.A sebagai kelompok kontrol dan kelas VIII.B sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Setelah melakukan penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari metode menghafal Al-Qur'an terhadap kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Karangtanjung Pandeglang. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan uji-t, di mana nilai t-hitung adalah 8.12 dan t-tabel adalah 1.67, sehingga t-hitung lebih besar daripada t-tabel.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the Adversity Quotient (AQ) of UIN Sumatra Utara Medan students in the Differential Equation course. The research subjects were 130 students of mathematics education at UIN North Sumatra Medan class of 2021. The sample was selected using the Slovin formula so that a total of 118 students were obtained. Data was collected using the AQ questionnaire and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results showed that (1) the average AQ of UIN Sumatra Utara Medan students was 83 out of an ideal score of 112 (74% of the ideal score); (2) high adversity qoutinet there are 17 people, medium 84 people, low 17 people; (3) based on the AQ indicator, the highest AQ of UIN students on indicator 6 responds positively. The lowest on indicator 3 responds negatively. Keywords: Adversity quotient, mathematics education, differential equations.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low results of a study on documentation of Mid Semester Examination (UTS) scores for learning mathematics and independence from 19 grade 1 students at SD N Bhaktikarya for the 2022/2023 academic year. Class average value of 70 (KKM Mathematics 75). This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is carried out in 2 cycles, aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes on non-standard measuring instruments and independence by applying the model Problem Basesd Learning (PBL). Researchers used a test technique by analyzing the results of student worksheets (LKPD) on non-standard measuring instruments and guided by 8 indicators of independence in observing the increase in student independence. The percentage of classical mastery of students' mathematics learning outcomes before being given the action (pre-cycle) increased by 11% after being given the first action (cycle I) to 63% and increased after being given the second action (cycle II) to 79%. Application of models Problem Based Learning can increase the independence of students as seen from the percentage increase in pre-cycle by 34%, increased in cycle 1 by 55% and increased to 63% in cycle II. Based on the results of these studies, the application of the model PBL can improve learning outcomes and student independence.Keywords: classroom action research, problem based learning, learning outcomes, independence, non-standard measuring instrument teaching materials.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika bertujuan untuk memberikan kemampuan logis pada siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematik siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media audio visual. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain one sampel pretest and postest control group desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI di salah satu SMP di Kota Tasikmalaya. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes kemampuan pemahaman. Analisis data menggunakan analisis uji parametrik paired sample t test jia distribusi data normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media audio visual efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is a very important ability. But in reality, this ability still needs to be optimized. The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of problem-based learning with a culturally responsive teaching approach with a scaffolding strategy on the problem-solving abilities of high school students. The study population was 11th-grade students divided into 8 classes and the sample was selected using cluster random sampling technique. This research method uses quantitative research with a quasi-experiment design. The data collection technique uses a problem-solving ability test. Research shows that the problem-solving ability in the experimental class achieves classical mastery with a percentage of classical mastery in the experimental class of 81%, while the problem-solving ability in the control class has not yet reached classical mastery. In addition, the average problem-solving ability of the experimental class is better than the average problem-solving ability of the control class, this is evidenced by the t_count=2.385>t_table=1.994. In other words, problem-based learning with a culturally responsive teaching approach with a scaffolding strategy is effective for students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.Keywords: Problem-Solving Ability, Problem-Based Learning, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Scaffolding.

Abstract

 Problem solving is a high-level thinking ability born from the results of analyzing one's information in finding a solution to a problem. The ability to solve problems is one of the determining factors for the progress of the nation, especially as a measure of the quality of human resources to be able to compete in the world of work in the industrial era 4.0. The purpose of this study is to provide a description of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities from their learning motivation. The research subjects took a sample of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Panancangan 5 totaling 37 people using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study, namely 1) students' problem solving abilities in terms of low learning motivation are in the low category, 2) students' problem solving abilities in terms of moderate learning motivation are in the medium category, and 3) students' problem solving abilities in terms of high learning motivation are in the high category.Keywords: analysis, problem solving skills, motivation to learn mathematics

Abstract

The current technological development is capable of transforming the education system. The utilization of digital media in learning has become one of the factors influencing students' success in studying mathematics. This research aims to investigate the use of student worksheets based on the Theory of Didactical Situation in mathematics learning through Moodle. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The topic studied in the student worksheets is Tangent Lines to Circles. The data collection techniques used are documentation, interviews, and observations. The subjects of this research are 30 eighth-grade students at SMPN 2 Karawang Barat. The research findings indicate that the use of student worksheets based on the Theory of Didactical Situation in mathematics learning through Moodle has been implemented successfully, received positive responses from students, and improved students' ability to understand mathematical concepts.Keywords: Didactical Situation, Moodle, Mathematics Learning

Abstract

One of the important components in educational evaluation is assessment. This study aims to develop an assessment instrument for PjBL-based learning in mathematics at a driving school in Manokwari district. The research method used by the researcher is research and development with a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). This research procedure consists of this includes 4 stages, namely the stage of defining (define), design (design), development (develop) and dissemination (disseminate). The data collection technique used in this study is the method of observation, instrument validation, and interviews. The assessment instrument was validated with a content validity ratio approach, then its reliability was tested with the SPSS-assisted Cronbach Alpha test. Research Results a) The PTS Assessment Instrument for collaborative projects between subjects obtained an average of 3.67 from the validator. The average validation score is in the very good category. Based on the results of the validation, it can be concluded that the instrument to be used is valid. b) The reliability test of the PTS assessment instrument for the collaboration project between subjects in 7th grade boys and 7th graders obtained Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient values of 0.749 and 0.774, respectively, where both values were between 0.7 and 0.9 so that it could be concluded that the instrument to be used has high reliability.Keywords: Project Based Learning, Subjects Collaboration, Sekolah Penggerak, Research Instruments

Abstract

Traffic congestion is one of the problems of land transportation and is the center of attention, especially for traffic users in big cities. Through a literature study using a descriptive method, a study was carried out with the aim of estimating the traffic volume at each intersection of two groups of connected and intersecting one-way roads. The initial step of this study is to conduct a literature review and provide some of the necessary definitions. Second, make the formulation of traffic volume engineering problems. Third, determine the variables and make assumptions. There are four variables involved. Fourth, form a mathematical model. The resulting model is in the form of a system of non-homogeneous linear equations. Fifth, determine the solution and interpretation of the model. The model is interpreted in the form of an enlarged matrix and through the application of the reduced row echelon method the result is that the system is consistent and has a rank of three. Sixth, implementation with the help of MATLAB. Seventh, drawing conclusions. Through this study, it was concluded that the volume of the number of vehicles in the three lanes depends on one other lane.

Abstract

Mathematics education is very important for elementary school students, but most students find it difficult to do mathematics because mathematical concepts are abstract while elementary school students think concretely. Efforts that can be made so that students can think abstractly is using panjul media. This study aims to determine the effect of panjul media (sum board) on the learning outcomes of grade 3 students in learning mathematics. This type of research is a quantitative pre-experiment with a one group pretest posttest design, the technique used is saturated sampling technique, with a sample of class IIIB students at SD Negeri Mojosongo III Surakarta with a total of 29 students. tiered summation. The data analysis technique used is uni normality and hypothesis testing. Based on the calculation results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of panjul media (sum board) on the learning outcomes of grade 3 students in learning mathematics.Keywords: Media Board Addition, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics.
