Abstract

Literacy skills mark the quality of human resources in a country. However, Indonesia's performance in literacy assessment on an international scale has not been very good. The results of interviews with teachers of SD Inpres 18 subsay Manokwari district on March 14, 2022 found the fact that students' numeracy literacy skills were still very low. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model assisted by student worksheets to improve numeracy literacy skills in terms of the curiosity of elementary school students in Manokwari district. The approach used in the implementation of this research is a quantitative approach. This type of research is experimental research. Data collection techniques in this study are Numeration literacy test, Observation, Validation Sheet and Documentation. Data analysis includes data analysis of validity and effectiveness. The effectiveness data analysis includes the completeness test for numeracy literacy skills, the average difference test for numeracy literacy skills, testing the effect of curiosity character on numeracy literacy skills. The results of the Effectiveness Test Analysis show that problem based learning models assisted by student worksheets are effective in improving numeracy literacy skills by criteria: (1) The proportion of classical learning completeness can be said to be more than 75% of students getting a score of 65, (2) The numeracy literacy ability of students in classes that use problem based learning models assisted by student worksheets is better than students' numeracy literacy skills with conventional learning, (3) There is an effect of curiosity character (X) on posttest numeracy literacy ability (Y).

Abstract

This research aims to develop Class IV Mathematics Comic Media with Fraction Material that is valid, practical and effective to improve elementary school students' problem solving abilities and interest in learning mathematics subjects. This research method is development research or Research and Development (R & D). The procedure used is to simplify the Borg & Gall development model (in Sugiyono, 2015: 298-331) which consists of 10 steps, in this research it will be limited to the seventh step. The population in this study is the population in this study are students at SD Negeri 02 Amban. The research sample chosen was class IV students for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample in this study was divided into two, namely class IV A students as the experimental class and class IV B students as the control class. Data collection techniques used in this research include questionnaires, interviews, validator assessment sheets, and problem solving ability tests. The data analysis techniques used in this research consist of three, namely validity, practicality and effectiveness data analysis. The research instruments consisting of learning implementation plans, student worksheets, comic media, problem solving ability tests, and learning interest questionnaires that have been developed are in the very good category based on the assessments of the three validators. Practicality obtained a positive response from students of 88.6%, which is in the very practical category. Students' problem solving abilities are better than the problem solving abilities of Control class students. The average problem solving ability of Control Class students is 60.31, while the average problem solving ability of experimental class students is 72.50. There is an influence of interest in learning on students' problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Natural Science (Science) learning in elementary schools has an important role in forming students' basic understanding of the natural world and the processes that occur in it. Scientific literacy, which includes the ability to read, write and think critically about science, is a crucial component in science learning. This research aims to explore science learning approaches based on scientific literacy in basic education. Using literature study methods and content analysis, this research examines various aspects related to the implementation of scientific literacy in science learning, such as needs analysis, learning models, learning media, as well as the role of teachers and school facilities in supporting scientific literacy. The research results show that a science learning approach based on scientific literacy can improve students' ability to understand scientific concepts, apply them in everyday life, and develop critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities based on scientific evidence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan media pembelajaran augmented reality pada materi bangun ruang untuk kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Inpres 09 Anggori. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket pedoman wawancara, angket penilaian ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli desain pembelajaran, angket respon peserta didik dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari tes tertulis, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil rata-rata keseluruhan validasi media pembelajaran augmented reality adalah 3.88, dan berada pada kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran augmented reality yaitu 3,74 yang berada pada kategori sangat positif. Keefektifan ditinjau dari hasil belajar peserta didik setelah mengikuti tes, menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 21 orang mencapai nilai tuntas atau 84 % peserta didik mencapai nilai tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran augmented reality yang sudah dikembangkan sangat efektif dan dapat memberikan dampak yang positif bagi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh bahan ajar yang masih monoton sehingga mengurangi partisipasi aktif mahasiswa selama proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-modul Heyzine flipbook pada mata kuliah Landasan Pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menerapkan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas yang sangat valid dengan skor rata-rata 3,66, memperoleh respons mahasiswa yang sangat positif dengan skor rata-rata 3,82, serta tingkat ketuntasan hasil tes mahasiswa mencapai 81,67%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul interaktif Landasan Pendidikan berbasis Heyzine Flipbook yang dikembangkan sangat efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL) yang dilengkapi dengan media Wordwall dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga meneliti pengaruh rasa ingin tahu terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Era pendidikan yang terus berkembang, penting untuk mencari metode pembelajaran yang inovatif guna meningkatkan kualitas belajar siswa, terutama dalam pembelajaran matematika yang sering dianggap sulit. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen yang melibatkan 52 siswa dari sebuah sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Manokwari. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kemampuan capaian belajar, observasi, lembar validasi, dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis data, digunakan uji perbedaan rata-rata prestasi belajar (uji t sampel bebas) dan analisis regresi untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasa ingin tahu terhadap prestasi belajar. Hasil validasi perangkat pembelajaran dan instrumen penelitian menunjukkan kategori sangat baik, mengindikasikan kelayakan perangkat yang digunakan. Hasil analisis efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan PjBL berbantuan Wordwall memiliki prestasi belajar yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Selain itu, rasa ingin tahu siswa terbukti memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar, dengan kontribusi sebesar 62,1%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kombinasi PjBL dan Wordwall merupakan pendekatan yang inovatif dan efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa di sekolah dasar, dan penting untuk mempertimbangkan karakter rasa ingin tahu siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to create a case-method-based interactive e-module that will enhance the higher-level thinking skills (HOTs) of students. Research and Development (R&D) utilizing the ten-step Borg & Gall model development constitutes this research method. This investigation is restricted to the seventh stage. This study's participants were FKIP UNIPA first-semester students enrolled in instructional mathematics courses. The sample for the study was determined by cluster random sampling. The participants in this research were partitioned into two groups: the experimental group consisted of students majoring in English education, while the control group comprised students majoring in Indonesian language education. In this study, questionnaires, interviews, validator assessment forms, and HOTs tests were utilized to collect data. Three data analysis techniques were utilized in this study: validity, practicability, and effectiveness. The outcomes demonstrate the e-module's validity. The practicality assessment yielded an 81.44% response rate from students in the very practical category. The HOTs of the pupils in the experimental class were superior to those of the control class. The mean HOTs of students in the control group were 67.67, whereas those in the experimental group have an average HOTs of 75.50.

Abstract

The Hatam tribe is one of the sub-tribes of the Arfak tribe. This study aims to explore the numeracy culture of the Hatam Tribe spoken by the Hatam Tribe community who inhabit Nuhuwei Village, Ransiki District. This research is ethnographic. The techniques used for data collection are interviews, exploration, literature study, desk study, and documentation. Interviews and explorations were conducted with several elders who spoke the Hatam language in Nuhuwei Village. Literature and documentation studies were conducted by looking for other sources of information related to the previously existing Hatam language to obtain accurate results. The Desk Study was conducted to find out the mathematical patterns of the Hatam Tribe. The results obtained from this study are that mathematically, the counting patterns spoken by the Hatam people who inhabit Nuhuwei Village have different dialects from the speech of the Hatam people who inhabit other areas. Besides that, another finding is that the pattern of mentioning numbers spoken by the Hatam tribe inhabiting Nuhuwei Village correlates with the counting pattern on the Jarimatika. We call this latest finding related to counting using the Hatam language-based Jarimatika as Himatam (Calculating Using Jarimatika in the Hatam language). This finding shows that learning numeracy for elementary students in Nuhuwei Village can be done more easily using the Himatam Method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pembelajaran daring berbantuan moodle terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa ditinjau dari karakter rasa ingin tahu dan self-efficacy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang merupakan salah satu jenis desain penelitian dari Quasi Experimental Design. Populasi penelitian merupakan seluruh mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan matematika dan sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang memprogram mata kuliah pembelajaran matematika SD. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari tes tertulis, kuisioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari analisis data kevalidan dan analisis data keefektifan meliputi uji ketuntasan prestasi belajar, uji perbedaan rata-rata prestasi belajar, uji pengaruh karakter rasa ingin tahu dan self-efficacy terhadap prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran daring berbantuan moodle efektif meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa ditinjau dari karakter rasa ingin tahu dan self-efficacy dengan kriteria: (1) Proporsi ketuntasan belajar klasikal dapat dikatakan lebih dari 75 % mahasiswa memperoleh nilai 70 atau B , (2) Prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada kelas yang menggunakan pembelajaran daring berbantuan moodle terintegrasi karakter rasa ingin tahu lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar mahasiswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional, (3)Terdapat pengaruh karakter rasa ingin tahu (X1) dan self-efficacy (X2) secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar posttest (Y). Abstract  This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Moodle-assisted online learning on student learning achievement in terms of curiosity and self-efficacy. The research method used by researchers is quantitative research. The research design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design which is a type of research design from Quasi-Experimental Design. The research population is all students majoring in mathematics education and the research sample is students who are designing elementary mathematics learning courses. Data collection techniques consist of written tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of an analysis of validity data and analysis of effectiveness data including complete learning achievement tests, tests of differences in the average learning achievement, and tests of the influence of curiosity and self-efficacy characters on learning achievement. The results showed that Moodle-assisted online learning was effective in increasing student learning achievement in terms of curiosity and self-efficacy with the following criteria: (1) The proportion of classical learning completeness was seen to be more than 75% of students obtaining a score of 70 or B, (2) Learning achievement students in classes using moodle-assisted online learning integrated curiosity was seen better than student achievement with conventional learning, (3) There was an influence of the characters of curiosity (X1) and self-efficacy (X2) on learning achievement post-test (Y).

Abstract

Papua, which is known to be rich in local wisdom, has great potential in environmental conservation if supported by a strong conservative attitude from its citizens. This research aims to determine the influence of problem-based student books integrated with Papuan local wisdom on the conservation attitudes of class VII junior high school students. This research is experimental research conducted at junior high schools in the Tanah Merah area of Bintuni Bay. In this study, the sample used was class VII, consisting of 38 students. There were 19 students in the control and experimental classes each. A conservation attitude questionnaire was used to measure students' conservation attitudes. Data were analyzed using the t test. The results show that problem-based student books integrated with Papuan local wisdom have a better effect than the control class. Local wisdom adds to students' information regarding the management of endemic organisms where they live. The problem of extinction in PBL learning empowers students to think about how to conserve organisms so that extinction factors that influence the classification of living things can be prevented.
