Abstract

Background: Burnout during the COVID-19 outbreak has an impact on poor quality of life and the treatment process of patients. Objective: To identify determinant of factors that caused with burnout on staffs in hospital during COVID-19 outbreak. Metodh: The databased used was Scopus, Science Direct, CINAHL, Pubmed, Proquest from January 2020-May2021. The keywords used in this study were burnout syndrome or burnout or burn out or burn-out AND healthcare workers or medical workers or healthcare professionals AND pandemic or COVID-19 or coronavirus. Results: This study reviewed 17 articles. The questionnaire used Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Demographic characteristics, various conditios related to COVID-19, psychological state and resilience have contributed to affect burnout of emlployees in hospital. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop an intervention or idea to manage burnout during the COVID-19 outbreak so can contributet patient care and reduce mortality

Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan mempunyai peranan yang penting dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan kepada pasien yang membutuhkan perawatan yang berkualitas sesuai dengan standar operasional prosedur yang sudah ditetapkan. Kualitas pelayanan kesehatan biasanya mengacu pada kemampuan rumah sakit melakukan standarisasi pelayanan keperawatan yang sesuai dengan wewenang dan fungsi rumah sakit. Tinjauan Literature Review ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pasien rawat inap terhadap mutu pelayanan kesehatan. Pencarian Literature Review melalui Google Scholar, EBSCO, Springer Link, Elsevier, Sage database menggunakan kata kunci : factors, patient satisfaction, quality of health services. Jurnal yang diambil memiliki jangkauan dari 2015 hingga 2021, yang kemudian ditelaah sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi yang ditetapkan oleh penulis. Hasil Literature Review menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pasien rawat inap terhadap mutu pelayanan kesehatan yaitu dimensi efektif, dimensi efisien, dimensi akses, dimensi patient centered, dimensi adil, dan dimensi aman. Kesimpulan Literature Review ini adalah terdapat pengaruh kepuasan pasien rawat inapt terhadap mutu pelayanan kesehatan dirumah sakit. Abstract

Prolonged second stage of labor is an emergency condition that requires immediate treatment by nurses so that there are no complications for the mother and fetus. The physical and psychological problems experienced by mothers with prolonged second stage of labor include infection, exhaustion, dehydration and even death in the mother. Nursing actions for mothers experiencing prolonged second stage of labor include fluid management, pain management, fetal resuscitation, infection control, anxiety reduction, environmental modification, coping strategies and Early Breastfeeding Initiation. The method used is a case study with a focus on the application of Wiedenbach's need for help theory and Kolcaba's comfort in nursing care for mothers who experience a prolonged second stage of labor. The cases managed in this study were five mothers who experienced a prolonged second stage of labor at two different hospitals in the Greater Jakarta area. Nurses can apply the theory of Wiedenbach's need for help and Kolcaba's comfort in providing nursing care to mothers with prolonged second stage of labor.

Abstract

Adolescentss tend to do deviant actions such as juvenile delinquency so that adolescentss have to deal with the law. Adolescentss who are in the Child Special Guidance Institute (LPKA) experience life changes and make adolescentss experience stress. Stress can be overcome with effective coping mechanisms from adolescents in LPKA. This study aims to describe the stress level and coping mechanisms of adolescents at the Class II Special Guidance Institute for Children in Pekanbaru. This study uses a simple descriptive design. The number of respondents was 45 juvenile detainees using accidental sampling technique. The inclusion criteria of sample is adolescents in LPKA around have 12-18 years old and the elxclusion criteria is adolescents have aged more than 18 years old. The analysis used is univariate analysis. The questionnaires used in this study were DASS (Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale) and Brief Cope. The validity test of the DASS questionnaire is 0,48-0,68 dan the reliability value is 0,90. The validity value of the COPE brief questionnaire is 0,447-0,640 and the reliable value is 0,909. The results showed that the majority of the characteristics of the respondents were adolescentss who were in the middle age (15-17 years) as many as 24 respondents (53.3%), and the case of adolescentss in LPKA namely theft as many as 15 respondents (33.3%). The stress level of respondents who had the highest presentation was moderate stress as many as 17 respondents (37.8%) and the coping mechanism of respondents who had the largest presentation was a coping mechanism that focused on emotions as many as 23 respondents (55.6%). Overall, juvenile detainees had moderate stress levels and emotional-focused coping mechanisms

Abstract

51 Hemodialysis is one of the therapies for CRF sufferers to replace damaged kidney function. During the hemodialysis process, patients experience intradialytic complications such as hemodynamic disorders. This study aims to determine the hemodynamic status of intradialytic patients. This study used a descriptive design. This study used a purposive sampling technique (n= 63) that used univariate analysis. Results blood pressure majority of the respondent at 1st and 2nd hours had isolated systolic hypertension (39.7% and 42.9%) and hypotension (1.6%), at the third hour had hypertension (49.3%), at the fourth hour the majority of respondents had normal blood pressure (38.1%). The majority of heart rate intradialytic of respondents had normal, tachycardia was found in the third and fourth hours (6.3% and 3.2%). The majority of Intradialysis respiratory rate of respondents had normal, tachypnea was found during intradialytic who the most respondents were at the third hour (19.0%). The majority of temperature intradialytic of respondents had normal, hyperthermia was found in the second and third hours (1.6% and 3.2%). Conclusion: the hemodynamic status of patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital Riau Province in intradialytic had changed and must be monitored every hour intradialytic, especially in the third hour.

Abstract

Nursing services which are one of the duties and responsibilities of nurses are to document the interventions that have been carried out. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of persuasive communication training at the head of the room on work motivation and documentation of nursing care at X Hospital, South Jakarta. Quasi Experimental research design using Pre-Post Test Class Design. Respondents in the hegemonic group were 76 respondents who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Respondents in the control group were 25 people. Respondents in the hegemonic group were given persuasive communication coaching as well as supervision and observation for 8 weeks. Collecting data using field information and observation sheets, evaluation of nursing care documentation, then analyzed bivariately with Wilcoxon test and multivariate using Chi-square test and logistic regression. as a result of the study, the average motivation of nurses for the hegemonic group was 28.6%. While the mean of documentation of nursing care in the hegemonic group is 80.2%. there is an impact of persuasive communication training on increasing nurses' motivation (P value < 0.05). there is an impact of persuasive communication training on improving nursing care documentation (Pvalue <0.05). Researchers recommend persuasive communication training in increasing work motivation and documentation of nursing care.

Abstract

Covid-19 has spread all over the world. All ages are at risk for COVID-19 infection, including adolescents who are at risk of contracting COVID-19 because of their high activity and tend to gather in groups. The impact of COVID-19 on adolescents can affect physical and mental health. This study was to obtain an overview of adolescent self-efficacy related to the prevention of COVID-19 infection and the knowledge, attitudes and COVID-19 prevention practices in adolescents. The study used a cross sectional method involving 389 adolescents with purposive sampling and snow ball sampling techniques. The results showed that the adolescent self-efficacy variable was 59.1% in the high category, adolescent knowledge was 66.8% in the low category, the attitude of preventing COVID-19 was found to be 55% in the low category, and the practice of preventing COVID-19 was 49.6% in the low category. The results of the analysis of the relationship between self-efficacy and COVID-19 prevention practices obtained a significant relationship between self-efficacy and COVID-19 prevention practices (p value = 0.012) and OR value = 1.679. Adolescents who have high self-efficacy have good COVID-19 prevention practices. The findings can be used to develop health promotions that aim to increase the prevention of COVID-19 in the youth aggregate.

Introduction: The process or activity of nursing practice used by nurses to provide nursing care to patients is referred to as nurse performance. Therefore, nursing services have become an important component of various health services and play an important role in determining the quality of hospital services. Inadequate leadership is a factor in the low performance of nurses. Objective: This research is to determine the relationship between leadership and nurse performance in the Orchid and Gladiola Treatment Room, Husada Hospital, Jakarta. Methods: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Result: There is a significant relationship between leadership and work performance of nurses (p value 0.001 < α 0.05). with good leadership will affect the work performance of nurses. Conclusion: Good leadership will affect the work performance of nurses in hospitals.

Abstract

Introduction: Post-immunization follow-up events (KIPI) for COVID-19 vaccine are medical symptoms that are suspected to be related to the COVID-19 vaccine, either in the form of vaccine reactions, injection reactions, pharmacological effects, or procedural errors. Good knowledge about AEFI can influence people's attitudes and behavior in dealing with follow-up events after COVID-19 immunization. The results of a brief survey obtained data from 35 respondents with 17 respondents (47.8%) not knowing what AEFIs were and as many as 18 respondents (51.4%) knowing what AEFIs were and how to handle them. Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of nursing students in handling the COVID-19 vaccine AEFI. Methods: The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a total sampling of 100 people. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire with univariate analysis techniques. Result: The results showed that 80% of respondents had good knowledge about handling COVID-19 vaccine AEFIs, 75% of respondents who had a good attitude, and 79% of respondents who had good behavior. Knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of respondents are included in the good category because they are influenced by educational, environmental, socio-cultural factors, personal experience, mass media, educational institutions, and other people who are considered important. Conclucion: Further research can investigate further regarding the handling of the COVID-19 vaccine AEFI by using a qualitative descriptive method.

Abstract

Introduction: Basic immunization is one of the programs from the government given to babies and toddlers that has benefitsto protect health and increase endurance. Objective: This study aims to obtain more information about maternal behavior regarding the provision of primary immunization in the working area of the Tompobulu Health Center, Gowa Regency. Methods: This research uses qualitative methods (based on natural conditions) with a phenomenological approach (based on life experience). The core informants in this study were mothers who had babies 9-12 months and incomplete immunizations of 7 people and also key informants, namely immunization law experts and community leaders. Data collection was carried out by deepening the interview using interview guidelines. Result: The results showed that mothers' knowledge was still lacking about basic immunization, mothers had a negative attitude towards basic immunization, as well as mothers' poor actions/practices towards basic immunization. Conclusion: Improving education and promotion related to immunization is important for mothers who have toddlers.
