Abstract

The objective of this research to know how the role of parents in the students’ learning motivation. Type of research is qualitative research. Research was conducted in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Palembang, with subject of 5 students and 5 parents of students. Methods for data collection is used interview, observation and document. Data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis. Parents have important role to develop the of their children capability. Parents are first and have main educators in the family environment, it needed maximum effort to be educate children in all aspects of developed and increased the role of parents as educators in family. Therefore, parents have important role especially in determine education for children. Parents should be able to condition for family environment to support childrens education. Parents involvement in the education of their children motivated them quickly..  The results showed the role of parents in the students’ learning motivation. First subject, parent had high role in the students’ learning motivation, the subject had high in learning motivation. Second subject, parents had low role in the students’ learning motivation, the subject had low in learning motivation. Third subject, parents had average in the students’ learning motivation, subject had average in learning motivation. Fourth subject had high role in the students’ learning motivation, subject had high in learning motivation. Fifth subjects parents had low role in the students’ learning motivation, subject had low in learning motivation.

Abstract

Abstract- Values of character are important things that must be implanted for people from the early age through formal education. This article aims to produce the concept of learning science by incorporating elements of character value in it, especially for education in Elementary School. The research method used is study literature. This study shows that science can play a role in building the character of students through the application of project-based learning. Character education through project-based learning by integrating character values into six learning steps consisting of project determination, design of project completion steps, preparation of project implementation schedules, project completion with facilities and teacher monitoring, reporting and presentation presentation or publication of results projects, project evaluation and project outcomes. This model helps students acquire new knowledge, develop social skills and teamwork as well as scientific attitudes in science learning. Social skills and scientific attitudes that can develop the value of the character of the nation desired and determined by the Ministry of National Education. Keywords- value, character, learning science, project-based learning Abstrak- Nilai karakter merupakan unsur penting yang harus ditanamkan kepada seseorang sejak usia dini hingga mengampuh pendidikan formal. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan konsep pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dengan memasukkan unsur nilai karakter di dalamnya, terutama untuk pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa IPA dapat berperan dalam membangun karakter siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran bebasis proyek dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam enam langkah pembelajaran yang terdiri dari penentuan proyek, perancangan langkah-langkah penyelesaian proyek, penyusunan jadwal pelaksanaan proyek, penyelesaian proyek dengan fasilitas dan monitoring guru, penyusunan laporan dan presentasi atau publikasi hasil proyek, evaluasi proses dan hasil proyek. Model ini membantu siswa memperoleh pengetahuan baru, mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan kerja tim serta sikap ilmiah dalam pembelajaran IPA. Keterampilan sosial dan sikap ilmiah inilah yang dapat mengembangkan nilai karakter dari bangsa yang diinginkan dan ditetapkan oleh Departemen Nasional Pendidikan. Kata Kunci- nilai, karakter, pembelajaran IPA, pembelajaran berbasis proyek

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the picture of student learning independence by implementing computer-assisted learning. The subjects in this study were students of class X SMK Mandiri Palembang which consist of 20 people. The data were collected by questionnaire and interview. The results of data analysis showed that the level of student learning independence by implementing computer-assisted learning is equal to 77.35% and included in either category. PBK is an instrumental in the learning process, thus making teachers and learners accustomed to communicate to share knowledge and experience. In the learning process, learners also become more independent, capable, and creative when using the CPE. Given that independence, skill, and creativity are part of values in character education, it should be developed and used as a primary tool in learning to realize the values of character education itself.

Abstract

The global citizen education word if it is meant to mean global public education that aims to make global society more wise in menajalankan kehidupannnya and still in accordance with the norms of life. The term "Global Citizen" is also defined as the concept of global citizenship that challenges the human mind for a long time even though the exact definition can never really be agreed upon. So it is not surprising that global citezenship education can form cybercommunity because it is in this era of cyber society is growing rapidly and education for the global community is very necessary, especially moral education. Because in the present era has entered the name of a moral crisis that resulted in global society doing things beyond the norms and social values that exist. Abstract

This study aims to describe the values of character, the implementation of character education, and obstacles in implementing character education on thematic learning in grade V SD Negeri 24 Betung. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive type. The subject of this research is the fourth grade teacher. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 24 Betung in January 2018-March 2018. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The main instrument is the researcher by using the tool in the form of observation guidance, interview, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman model that is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Technique examination of data validity with technique triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of character education consists of planning and implementation. Lesson planning used is not made by the teachers themselves, but has already shown the integration of character education. In terms of implementation, teachers implement it through learning activities and learning methods, spontaneous activities, discipline planting, and create a conducive atmosphere. In thematic learning the teacher develops and instill nine values of characters developed. Obstacles faced by teachers in implementing character education are the limited facilities and infrastructure in the form of learning media, learning methods, attitude assessment, and family factors.

Abstract

Abstract— The purpose of this study is to describe the collection of poetry of graduation of grass roots works of wiji thukul. The method used in this study is a descriptive method while the approach used is a structural approach, namely an approach that seeks to understand the poetry of the structure attached to the poem in the form of a layer of norms in a poem creation. The data source taken is the collection of Grassroots Song poetry by Wiji Thukul. The data analysis technique in this study is this content analysis technique that attempts to analyze documents to find out the contents and meaning contained in the document. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the collection of Grassroots Song of Wiji Thukul's poetry has a norm strata that examines five levels, namely the sound layer, the meaning layer, the world layer, the object layer, the metaphysical layer. The poems mostly reveal the events of different human life and reveal real life or the ongoing reality in human life. The suggestions presented by the author are that Wiji Thukul's Song of Grassroots poetry should be read, lived, and analyzed. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan struktural, yaitu pendekatan yang berusaha memahami puisi dari struktur yang melekat pada puisi tersebut yang berupa lapis norma dalam suatu ciptaan puisi. Sumber data yang diambil yaitu kumpulan puisi Nyanyian Akar Rumput karya Wiji Thukul.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis konten ini berusaha menganalisis dokumen untuk diketahui isi dan makna yang terkandung dalam dokumen tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kumpulan puisi Nyanyian Akar Rumput karya Wiji Thukul memiliki strata norma yang mengkaji lima tingkatan yaitu lapis bunyi, lapis arti, lapis dunia, lapis objek, lapis metafisis. Puisi-puisi tersebut sebagian besar mengungkapkan peristiwa hidup manusia yang berbeda-beda dan mengungkapkan kehidupan nyata atau realitas yang sedang berlangsung sekarang ini dalam kehidupan manusia. Adapun saran yang disampaikan penulis yaitu hendaknya kumpulan puisi Nyanyian Akar Rumput karya Wiji Thukul perlu dibaca, dihayati, dan dianalisis. Serta penulis mengungkapkan hendaknya kumpulan puisi ini dikaji dengan pendekatan yang berbeda.Kata kunci — Kajian Strata Norma, Puisi Nyayian Akar Rumput, Wiji Thukul

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of formative-sumative evaluation model on student learning motivation in geography teaching planning course. The type of this research is evaluation research with quantitative approach. Data were obtained through documentation technique and questionnaire. The collected data is processed by multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the summative-formative evaluation obtained an average of 73.8 and 79.4. In the internal motivation aspect, the result of the questionnaire shows that 100% of students are interested in the subject, interest / willingness to learn, curiosity, enthusiasm to ask, opinion during PBM, enthusiastic to do and complete the task, and enthusiastic in cooperation very well. While the aspect of external motivation shows that 54.8% of the facilities support the smooth learning process, the atmosphere is conducive, the results are very good, and parents are proud of the value obtained by the students. Learning by using formative-sumative evaluation model has a significant effect on students learning motivation, as evidenced from the results of multiple linear regression analysis which shows that Fcount = 4,528 is greater than Ftable = 3.34, then Ho is rejected. Thus it is known that the formative-sumative evaluation model has a significant effect on students learning motivation in Geography teaching planning course.

Abstract

Abstract— The essence of dance education speaks of human beings as creators, actors and art users about how to plant, build, and develop the knowledge gained through art education in particular. The art of dance is created and created on the basis of desire and desire to work born from the idea of human creativity that is educated. Indeed the work of dance is a manifestation of the results of human ideas through the motion is arranged through the process of exploration, experience of art, education, until the excavation of meaning and purpose. Through the creation of art activities in education to be a container to express the idea of creativity of educators and learners. The activities of dance performed by humans in arranging dance, creating dance to dance in a performance context. Based on that, it is necessary to analyze the aspect of dance creation in education.  Keywords— Aspects of Dance Creation, Education. Abstrak— Hakikat pendidikan seni tari berbicara mengenai manusia sebagai pencipta, pelaku dan pemakai seni mengenai bagaimana cara menanam, membangun, dan mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan yang diperoleh melalui pendidikan seni khususnya. Seni tari tercipta dan diciptakan atas dasar keinginan dan hasrat berkarya yang lahir dari ide kreatifitas manusia yang berpendidikan. Sejatinya karya tari merupakan wujud nyata hasil gagasan manusia melalui gerak yang ditata melalui proses eksplorasi, pengalama berkesenian, pendidikan, hingga penggalian makna dan tujuannya. Melalui aktivitas penciptaan seni di dalam pendidikan menjadi wadah mengekspresikan ide kreatifitas pendidik dan peserta didik. Aktivitas seni tari dilakukan manusia dalam hal menata tari, mencipta tari hingga menari dalam suatu konteks pertunjukan. Abstract

Temuan sejarah di Desa Sako Kecamatan Rambutan sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai sejarah apa dari temuan sejarah di desa Sako kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang dapat di jadikan sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai sejarah dari temuan sejarah di desa Sako kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan yang dapat di jadikan sebagai media  pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif  kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi, observasi dan studi pustaka. Pengujian data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa desa Sako sangat kaya akan data-data arkeologi dari masa kerajaan Sriwijaya, Kesultanan Palembang Darussalam, hingga masa-masa kolonial yang masih belum banyak tersentuh oleh penelitian. Data arkeologi tersebut harus cepat-cepat diselamatkan agar tidak kehilangan data-data sejarah lokal, mengingat data-data tersebut berada dilahan proyek. Keywords- Temuan Sejarah, Fosil, Moluska, Media Pembelajaran Sejarah Lokal

Abstract

Abstract– The purpose of this research is to know the relation of balance (X1) and leg muscle power (X2) with the result of penalty kick (Y) in soccer game. Method used in this research is correlation method. The population is entirely a research sample. as many as 40 students. Technique of data collection is done through balance test and leg muscle power test, and test result of penalty kick. Data analysis techniques in this study using correlation test in the form of simple regression correlation analysis and multiple correlation regression analysis. The results of processing and data analysis show that there is a balance relationship (X1) with the result of a penalty kick (Y) of r = 0.52, so the balance contributes 52% against the penalty kick. While the leg muscle power relationship (X2) with the Y penalty kick of r = 0.61, so the leg muscle power provides 61% contribution against penalty kicks. Together the equilibrium (X1) and limb muscle power (X2) is R = 0.67, so that the two variables together give 67% contribution to the penalty kick, it can be concluded that leg muscle balance and power has significant relationship with penalty kick results in the game of football. Although not maximal. Keywords– Balance, leg muscle power, Penalty Shoot, Football. Abstrak– Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan keseimbangan (X1) dan power otot tungkai (X2)  dengan hasil tendangan pinalti (Y) pada permainan sepak bola .Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Korelasional. Populasi seluruhnya menjadi sampel penelitian. sebanyak 40 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes keseimbangan  dan tes  power otot tungkai, dan tes hasil tendangan pinalti. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi berupa analisis korelasi regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi korelasi berganda. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data menunjukkan terdapat hubungan keseimbangan (X1)  dengan hasil tendangan pinalti (Y) sebesar r =0,52, sehingga keseimbangan menyumbangkan 52% terhadap tendangan penalti. Sedangkan hubungan power otot tungkai (X2) dengan hasil tendangan pinalti Y sebesar r =0,61, sehingga power otot tungkai memberikan sumangan 61% terhadap tendangan penalti. Secara bersama-sama keseimbangan (X1) dan power otot tungkai (X2) sebesar R =0,67, sehingga kedu variabel secara bersama-sama memberikan sumbangan 67% terhadap tendangan penalti, maka dapat disimpulkan keseimbangan dan power otot tungkai memiliki hubngan yang signifikan dengan hasil tendangan penalti pada permainan sepak bola.
