Abstract

Abstract- This research aims to know the influence model of Advance Organizer against the ability of understanding the mathematical concepts of JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students in the country 13 Palembang. The methods used in this research is a method of experimentation Posttest Only Control Design. This research population i.e. the whole grade VII in SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. The research in this study samples taken with the technique of Simple Random Sampling, the selected classes, namely Class VII 10 as class experiments amounted to 34 students and Class VII 8 amounted to 32 as the class of the control. Data collection techniques are categorized using the test. Technique of data analysis using t-test. As for the results of the  research there were significant effects model Advance Organizer against the ability of understanding the mathematical concepts of grade VII in the SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. Keywords: Model Advance Organizer, the ability of understanding the mathematical concepts. Abstrak- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Advance Organizer terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen Posttest Only Control Design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. Sampel penelitian dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling, kelas yang terpilih yaitu kelas VII 10 sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 34 siswa dan kelas VII 8 berjumlah 32 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Tes dan LKS. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah model Advance Organizer terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. Kata Kunci : Model Advance Organizer, kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis.

Abstract

Education not only serves as a medium to equip learners with knowledge but also, as a container for shaping and developing intelligent self-character. The past 15 years of thuggish action among students has been a problem that awakened the government to accommodate character education in formal education. Behavioral tendencies learners out of the values of Pancasila. Government realize that there must be Mental Revolution (GNRM) to shield them from outside influences that could threaten the Homeland. Strengthening character education of the globalization era gives emphasis on religious values, honesty, love of the homeland, and peace love. In the learning process the character education is integrated in every field of study, applicative, covering the physical aspects of emotion, social, creativity, spiritual intellectual. Implementation through personal verbal and nonverbal approaches in intra-curricular, extracurricular activities in schools.

Abstract

The culture of society is a legacy of society before the need for its preservation by the next generation. The development of information technology is of course a shift in cultural values from the influence of technology development. It needs to develop the culture of rural communities so that culture continues to develop in the era of technology with the emergence of global citizen. In this study the method used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are interview, observation and documentation. Interview conducted on the respondents according to the researcher can represent the water village community, then the researcher also conducted observation on the research object that is the water village community, PALI regency, south sumatera province.Respondents who researcher 1) community leaders 2) village tools 3) community 4 ) teenagers, from this study expect the culture of rural communities can be developed through the use of technology and maintaining imformation in the era of global citizen. In maintaining the culture of rural communities in the era of technology is done by 1) at rural about information technology 2) forming cultural group of rural community 3) conducting guidance to young generation in order to preserve local culture. Keywords—  Local culture, technological development, towards global citizen

Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) teachers' perceptions about character education and (2) material given by teachers in character education. This research is descriptive research using qualitative approach. Informants in this study are teachers (educators) as many as 6 people consisting of all teachers grade 1 to grade 6. Techniques of determining informants using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was done by observation, interview, and documentation. The data obtained then processed by descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that: (1) teachers' perceptions of character education show a positive thing, which integrates character education materials into their learning and learning materials, character education is regarded as an essential value in shaping and fortifying the learner's personality; (2) Character education materials (concepts) prepared and taught by teachers (educators) tailored to the substance of the content of certain subject matter, based on the curriculum 2013.

Abstract

Once the importance of charaterized generation, character education, Pancasila values education and antiradicalism education are inevitable. On the other hand, the latest issue that can be considered the most potential to disrupt the unity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia is the idea of radicalism. In order to ensure that todays generation and future will be able to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, it needs to be printed by generations that have strong character, have an appreciation of the values of Pancasila and also have antiradicalism attitude. Thus, it takes the process and the ideal vehicle to form the intended generation. In this context, the most likely process is education. Education in Indonesia should be oriented towards the development of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects simultaneously.

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to examine the extent of learning using probing prompting techniques applied in the course of differential equations at PGRI University Palembang assisted Edmodo Blended Learning. Learning model using Probing Prompting technique, aided by edmodo blended learning that is by using internet online, to assist them in learning. Probing Prompting Techniques is a way of presenting learning with a series of questions that are guided and explored to form a thought process that links previous knowledge and experience with new knowledge to be learned. Questions raised on the students encourage students to think more rationally about the knowledge that has been obtained before, and also can link the next questions so that new knowledge arises that is reflected from the results of a lesson. This research uses derskriftif method which only describes process from learning of differential equation using probing prompting. The subject of this research is a mathematics student in the course of Differential Equation at University PGRI of Palembang. Keywords— Probing Prompting, Edmodo Blended learning, and Differential Equation (PD) Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauhmana pembelajaran menggunakan teknik probing prompting yang diterapkan di matakuliah persamaan diferensial pada universitas PGRI Palembang berbantuan Edmodo Blended Learning. Model Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan teknik Probing Prompting, berbantuan edmodo blended learning yaitu dengan menggunakan internet secara online, untuk membantu mereka dalam pembelajaran. Teknik Probing Prompting adalah Cara menyajikan Pembelajaran dengan serangkaian pertanyaan yang sifatnya menuntun dan menggali sehingga membentuk suatu proses berpikir yang mengaitkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman sebelumnya dengan pengetahuan baru yang akan dipelajari. Pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang dilontarkan pada siswa mendorong siswa agar dapat berpikir lebih rasional tentang pengetahuan yang telah didapat oleh sebelumnya, dan juga dapat mengaitkan pertanyaan-pertanyaan berikutnya sehingga timbul pengetahuan baru yang tercermin dari hasil suatu pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode derskriftif dimana cuma menggambarkan proses dari pembelajaran persamaan diferensial menggunakan probing prompting. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa matematika pada mata kuliah Persamaan Diferensial pada Universitas PGRI Palembang.  Kata Kunci— Probing Prompting, Edmodo Blended learning, dan Persamaan Diferensial (PD)

Abstract

This study aimed at determining whether there is influence of learning model Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) to the ability of mathematical representation of students of SMP Negeri 2 Muara Sugihan. The ability of this mathematical representation includes 3 indicators of mathematical representation 1) in the form of diagrams, graphs, tables and drawings, 2) Mathematical equations or expressions and, 3) written words or texts. The method used in this research was posttest only control design model. The population in this study were the entire class VIII in SMP Negeri 2 Muara Sugihan. The sample were taken in this research for experimental class was class VIII 2 was given approach of Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) and control class VIII 3 was given expository learning. Technique of collecting data in this research was written test. Data analysis technique used was T-test. This test refers to an indicator of the ability of a mathematical representation. Based on the calculation results obtained tcalcule = 5.836 and ttable = 1.998. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence of Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) model of mathematical representation of students of SMP Negeri 2 Muara Sugihan.

Abstract

Abstract— The purpose of this research are: 1) To know whether or not there is interest of student learning on the subject of orchestra on the learning result of orchestra of the students of SMA Negeri in the district of Pengandonan, and 2) to know what percentage of student's interest in the orchestra examination lesson. The population of this study is all students of High School in the District, amounting to 2589 students. Research sample 10% from population that is 344 student with sample proportional random sampling technique. collection of questionnaire method, documentation and interview. Analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and regression analysis.The population of this study is all students of state Senior High School in the District of 2589 students. Research sample 10% from population that is 344 student with sample proportional random sampling technique. Data collection of questionnaire method, documentation and interview. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and regression analysis.The result of the study of the students' learning interest in the High School Orchestra lecture (76.12%) and the learning result of the orchestra has been good with an average of 7.00. Regression analysis results obtained regression equation = 2.997 + 0.023X. Test of significance with F test obtained Fhitung = 219,118> Ftable = 3,87. the regression equation is significant so that it is expressed There is influence of student's learning interest in the lesson of orchestra of learning result of student orchestra examination 39,1%.Based on the results of the study, the authors provide suggestions: 1) To obtain high learning outcomes students need to grow their interest in the orchestra lesson especially the perseverance in learning the orchestra in earnest, 2) For other researchers who want to conduct similar research can make as reference material and can take other factors such as the physical condition of students. Keywords— Character education, literary learning, local wisdom  Abstrak— Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1) Untuk  mengetahui ada tidaknya minat belajar siswa pada pelajaran Penjas Orkes terhadap hasil belajar Penjas Orkes siswa SMA Negeri se-kecamatan Pengandonan, dan 2) Untuk mengetahui berapa persen minat belajar siswa pada pelajaran Penjas Orkes. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa SMA Negeri se-Kecamatan yang berjumlah 2589 siswa. Sampel penelitian 10% dari populasi yaitu 344 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel proposional random sampling. Pengumpulan data metode angket, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian minat belajar siswa pelajaran Penjas Orkes tinggi (76,12%) dan hasil belajar Penjas Orkes telah baik dengan rata-rata 7,00. Hasil analisis regresi diperoleh persamaan regresi  = 2,997 + 0,023X. Uji keberartian dengan uji F diperoleh Fhitung = 219,118 > Ftabel = 3,87. persamaan regresi signifikan sehingga dinyatakan Ada pengaruh minat belajar siswa pada pelajaran Penjas Orkes terhadap hasil belajar Penjas Orkes siswa sebesar 39,1%.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian,penulis memberikan saran: 1) Untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar yang tinggi siswa perlu menumbuhkan minatnya pada pelajaran Penjas Orkes terutama ketekunannya dalam belajar Penjas Orkes dengan sungguh-sungguh, 2) Bagi peneliti lain yang hendak mengadakan penelitian sejenis dapat menjadikan sebagai bahan referensi serta dapat mengambil faktor-faktor lain seperti kondisi fisik siswa. Kata kunci— Minat Belajar dan Hasil Belajar Pelajaran Penjas Orkes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether or not there was a significant effect of the demonstration method by using teaching aids on the physics learning outcomes of Newton's second law material in class X at Pangkalan Lampam 1 State High School. The variables of the study are veriabel bound, namely student learning outcomes and the variables of the practice, the demonstration method using props. The population in this study were all students of class X Science at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lampam which amounted to 115 students. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling technique with the number of samples of 80 students divided into two classes namely class X IPA 1 as the experimental class who received learning treatment using demonstration method with the number of 40 students and students of class X IPA 2 as the control class treated a conventional approach with a total of 40 students. Techniques of collecting data using tests and documentation. The analytical technique used in this study is the right-t test. The result of calculation of data analysis obtained the average value of experiments 81,00 and the average value of control class 73,75, with significant level α = 0,05 in ttable that is equal to 1,68 and titung that is 2,71. Based on the results of data calculations, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of demonstration methods by using props to the results of physics study material law II Newton in class X in SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lampam

Abstract

Abstract — The Indonesian Language Teaching Program for Foreigners (BIPA) is increasingly widespread both in BIPA training institutions in Indonesia as well as in BIPA training institutions overseas. This development indicates that currently Indonesian language has started to reach the interest of foreigners both residing in Indonesia and overseas with various purposes. Unfortunately, as foreigners, they often make mistakes in Indonesian language. Due to the misuse of Indonesian language by foreigners, there needs to be a deeper study about what factors that cause foreigners make mistakes in the use of Indonesian language and about how to teach Indonesian language to foreigners by considering the theories of language acquisition, i.e. behaviorism, innatism, and interactionism. The purpose of this paper is to briefly describe the factors that cause foreigners make mistakes in the use of Indonesian language and the theories of language acquisition, namely behaviorism, innatism, and interactionism. Keywords — pengajaran, pembelajar, instruktur, BIPA, behaviorism, innatism, interactionismAbstrak — Program pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) semakin marak dilaksanakan baik di lembaga-lembaga pelatihan BIPA dalam negeri maupun di lembaga-lembaga pelatihan BIPA luar negeri. Perkembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa saat ini Bahasa Indonesia sudah mulai dilirik dan diminati oleh penutur asing baik yang berada di Indonesia maupun di luar negeri dengan berbagai tujuan. Namun sebagai penutur asing, mereka seringkali melakukan kesalahan dalam berbahasa Indonesia. Dengan adanya masalah berupa kesalahan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia oleh penutur asing ini, perlu adanya sebuah kajian yang lebih dalam tentang faktor–faktor yang menyebabkan penutur asing melakukan kesalahan dalam berbahasa Indonesia dan tentang bagaimana sebaiknya mengajarkan Bahasa Indonesia kepada penutur asing dengan mempertimbangkan teori-teori pemerolehan bahasa, yaitu teori  behaviorist, innatist, dan interactionist.Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk memaparkan secara singkat faktor–faktor yang menyebabkan penutur asing melakukan kesalahan dalam berbahasa Indonesia dan teori-teori pemerolehan bahasa, yaitu teori behaviorist, innatist, dan interactionist. Kata Kunci — pengajaran, pembelajar, instruktur, BIPA, behaviorist, innatist, interactionist
