Abstract

Indonesian as a source of character education need not doubt its existence, because in the Indonesian language the requirement of education values which is the main substance of character education. Character education extracted from the substance of the Indonesian language can be a pillar of nations character education. Character education as a pillar of national character education, today becomes very important, because character education is crucial to the progress of civilization of the nation, which is not only superior, but also intelligent. The superiority of a nation lies in thinking and character. Both types of advantages can be built and developed through education. Therefore, the goal of education is not only intelligence and intelligence (thought), but also moral and character, character, values, and personality are strong, superior and noble (character). In other words, between thought and character must be a unified whole. The realization of the nations character education excavated from Indonesian language sources can be started from the education community through Indonesian language learning. In learning Indonesian language, it should be able to take place through the learning process on every basic competency taught and each indicator of learning outcomes to be achieved.

Abstract

The Palembang community is a multiethnic society that is full of linguistic phenomena. Most of them are immigrants from outside Palembang, it will determine the use of the language used (Oktovianny, 2017: 895). Nowadays, in millenial generation, the use of Palembang language has become a language that mixes with other languages and can be mutually understood by fellow speakers. One of the words that is often used by the people of Palembang is gawe. In the Baso Palembang collection, the word gawe is defined as creating, working. The problem in this study was how the use and meaning of the word gawe to the habits of the Palembang people?. The purpose of this study was describe the use and meaning of the word gawe to the habits of the Palembang people. The type of research used in this study was qualitative research. In Sarosa (2017: 8), qualitative research is a study that attempts to understand the phenomenon in its setting and its natural context (not in the laboratory), i.e. the researcher does not attempt to manipulate the observed phenomena. In fact one word gawe can have many meanings when it is spoken by the Palembang people in everyday life for example, ado gawe, katek gawe, gawe apo, and apo gawe.Keywords— meaning, gawe, community, Palembang

Abstract

In creating human beings capable of thinking and acting with global insight and being able to appreciate diversity so as to lead a nation of character that can support the development of the nation and build the identity of a nation, the school is instrumental in shaping the character of the nation. This study is about the role of education in schools in the cultural dynamics that exist in the school MTs Negeri 2 Palembang City which aims to form human beings who have a positive character that can compete. This research use qualitative method with field research, data taken by doing observation directly to research object. Abstract

The purpose of the study to know the effect of productive creative learning strategies on student entrepreneur motivation education programs a k un tansi FKIP University PGRI Palembang. Creative productive in question is the learning process of educators should be able to grow productive thinking habits , which is characterized by growing a critical attitude, creative and independent in thinking and learning by : a). fostering the ability to think and learn regularly, b) cultivate a critical attitude in thinking and c) cultivate a creative attitude in thinking and learning , Creative productive in 30 icon kuliner of Palembang. The research data was obtained from the respondents as many as 30 students. Data collection is done by direct observation, questionnaire and documentation. The results showed that there is a significant influence between productive creative learning strategies on student entrepreneurship motivation student study program a k un tansi FKIP University PGRI Palembang. The results showed t count = 9,13 3 ≥ t table = 1,701, then accept H a and reject H o which reads no effect of productive creative learning strategy toward entrepreneurship motivation student accounting education education program FKIP University PGRI Palembang that is equal to 74% while the rest 26% are influenced by other factors.  Keywords— Learning strategy, creative productive, motivation

Abstract

Abstract— The purpose of this research to saw the effectiveness of the use e-modul on liveliness and student learning outcome. Module that referred for this study was a computer based that can be used averywhere by using computer-based devices owned by students. The reseearch method used descriptive qualitative done by doing the tabulation of the frequenvy of observation and test result to determine the relevance of subject and object that became the subject of research. It can be saw from the comparative study average student score on pretest 68,82 and post-test 91,21 it means there was an anhancement 22,39%. This showed that the effectiveness of e-Modul both in the activity of students in teaching and learning activities and student learning outcomes of learners with mastery learners 90%. Based on the description, it can concluded that th use of e-Modul has a positive effect on student learning activities and learning outcomes. Teaching materials were piloted based on the result of this study, the materials of e-Modul on learners quality of learning were very good and very effective in every meeting. Keywords— Effectiveness, used, e- Modul Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas penggunaan e-Modul terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar. Modul yang dimaksud pada penelitian ini  merupakan modul berbasis komputer yang dapat digunakan dimanapun dengan menggunakan perangkat berbasis computer yang dimiliki oleh siswa.   Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dilakukan dengan melakukan tabulasi frekuensi atas hasil amatan observasi dan tes untuk mengetahui keterkaitan subjek dan objek yang menjadi pokok penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan tes. Dilihat dari hasil penelitian perbandingan rerata nilai siswa pada pretest sebesar 68,82 dan post test sebesar 91,21 artinya terjadi peningkatan sebesar 22,39%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa efektifitas e-Modul baik terhadap keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan ketuntasan belajar peserta didik sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan e-Modul telah memiliki efek positif  terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa dan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Bahan ajar diuji cobakan berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, bahan ajar e-Modul pada peserta didik kualitas hasil belajarnya sangat baik dan keaktifannya sangat tinggi dalam setiap pertemuan. Kata Kunci— efektifitas, penggunaan, e-Modul

Abstract

The problems that occur of learners in the modernization era increasingly complex. This condition is seen from various phenomena that occur in social life of society. Implemented program in character building of this student, it becomes an important part for our nation forward, especially learners. Education is done until now, the results have not been as expected. There are still many occurrences of events that have an effect on the lives of learners in terms of deviant behavior such as drug use, sexual harassment, aggressive behavior, brawl, bullying, fight between one to another and etc. Character education materials are loaded into each subject, local content and Guidance and Counseling services. Counselor Teachers / Counselors are responsible for the learning activities associated with BK services for a number of learners. Individual character development can be done by professional guidance and counselor/counselor in guidance and counseling. The type of research used descriptive qualitative research that describes the various data obtained from observations and interviews while the research method of data collection by interview and documentation observation method. The subject of this research is 1 person of guidance and counseling teacher, Head of SMP N 3 Palembang and 7 learners. The result of this research is to know the forms of BK teacher activities and activities in schools such as: Reading Al-Quran, Sholat Ashar congregation, and the existence of individual and group guidance everyday.

cooperative learning type Teams Games Tournament (TGT). As for the subject of this research is the students of class V SD Negeri 212 Palembang with the number of students as many as 30 people. Data collection was done by observation. Observation was done to obtain data about cooperative learning process type Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Abstract

This study aimed at producing appropriate Computer Assisted Mathematics Based Project (valid, practical, and effective) teaching materials to improve students reasoning and mathematical communication skills. This research is a development research, which develops teaching materials using 4-D models. The instruments of data collection used are validation of teaching materials, questionnaires, and tests of reasoning ability and mathematical communication. Based on the results of data analysis up to stage 3 on R & D research revealed that the compiled teaching materials have met the eligibility requirements. Feasibility level of teaching materials equal to 85.58% with high category. The result of the test of teaching material is 88,4. This means that the teaching materials have excellent value with a high level of practicability. The effectiveness test shows that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test values. In relation to the assessment of the conformity of teaching materials content with the project-based learning stage, 83.3% of respondents agreed that the material in textbooks put forward the project and the evaluation used could represent the problem solving in the real world. All respondents agree that by learning through developed learning materials, learners are encouraged to design their own products to be done. All respondents agree that from the project assigned, learners are encouraged to develop their competence.

Abstract

The challenges of life in the twentieth century became the concern of UNESCO to provide the world's students to be able to face all the problems and the ability to deal with local and global issues. Global Citizenship Education (GCE) teaches understanding of tolerance, skills and value for learners to work together to solve local, regional, national and global problems. GCE focuses on understanding and solving problems related to social issues, politics, economics, human rights, gender equality, terrorism, poverty, natural resource management. GCE offers learning that fosters awareness of engagement in solving local life issues to bring about global change through participatory strategies and methods. Implementation of holistic and integrative learning that prioritizes critical thinking, dialogue and action in the activities and everyday life of learners. Learning activities outside the classroom is one alternative that can be applied to achieve the goals of CGE. Cognitive, social-emotional and behavioral development are the three major dimensions of GCE. GCE at SMK Bukit Asam is integrated in all subjects, intra and extra curricular activities and concrete actions by collaborating and networking local, regional, national and global. Abstract

The development of information technology has promised great potential in changing the way one learns, to obtain information, adjust information and so on. Technology also provides opportunities for educators to develop learning techniques to produce maximum results. Similarly for elementary school teachers, with technology it is expected they are easier to determine with what and how students can absorb information appropriately and efficiently. The results of the discussion: (1) in the global digital community should be carried out at least three lessons, namely Learning which emphasizes on: (a) search and discovery construction; (b) creativity and initiative; (c) interaction and cooperation; (2) the role of teachers in learning the digital age is the teacher as: (a) learning resources; (b) the facilitator; (c) managers; (d) the demonstrator; (e) mentors; (f) motivators; (g) evaluators; (3) the challenge of the digital age teacher; 4) coping strategy challenge: teacher becomes the bridge of revolution.
