The growth of Indonesian development has increased so fast in every sector these few years. Furthermore, it creates environmental damage such as: pollutions, floods, erosion, forest fire, and etc. These problems are basically caused by the lack of societyâs awareness to keep the environment clean. Based on these problems, Indonesian government through the State Minister for The Environment publish Adiwiyata program. The aim of these program is to introduce knowledge about character education especially in environmental care from elementary to senior high school students. It is hoped that the students will have such awareness to keep the environment clean earlier. The program of environmental education through Adiwiyata Program can be implemented in 2013 Curriculum through character education building. There are some characters education that can be implemented through Adiwiyata such as: care, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and sincere.

Abstract— Learning English through songs is one of the best method that the students focus on the lesson better. Because in a song has the variety new words and phrases with many different themes, so the students can learn some items of vocabulary, rhym of language, and grammatical structures that relating to any topic.The fact that English songs for the students are often easy and simple topic that they like most to learn and the students will learn song by hearing it many times, maybe memorization occurs via repetition. Using songs in teaching English is the great way to teach language for students who can not understand fully all the lyric but they still listen to music and sing follow their teacher or music because they are very interesting. However, the teacher should not forget the main purpose that using songs in teaching English is only the tool in order to aim the students in English classroom. In short, I hope that using songs will be effective way for students to enchance learning English and for teachers should choose suitable songs and create various activities to help students learn actively. Keywords— song, enchance learning Abstrak— Belajar Bahasa Inggris melalui lagu adalah salah satu metode terbaik agar siswa fokus pada pelajaran yang lebih baik. Karena dalam sebuah lagu terdapat variasi kata-kata dan frasa baru dengan banyak tema yang berbeda, sehingga para siswa dapat mempelajari beberapa item kosa kata, rhym bahasa, dan struktur gramatikal yang berkaitan dengan topik apa pun. Fakta bahwa lagu-lagu berbahasa Inggris untuk para siswa seringkali mudah dan topik sederhana yang paling mereka sukai untuk dipelajari dan siswa akan belajar lagu dengan mendengarnya berkali-kali, mungkin hafalan terjadi melalui pengulangan. Menggunakan lagu dalam mengajar bahasa Inggris adalah cara terbaik untuk mengajarkan bahasa bagi siswa yang tidak dapat memahami sepenuhnya semua lirik tetapi mereka masih mendengarkan musik dan bernyanyi mengikuti guru atau musik mereka karena mereka sangat menarik. Namun, guru tidak boleh lupa tujuan utama bahwa menggunakan lagu dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris hanyalah alat untuk membidik siswa di kelas bahasa Inggris. Singkatnya, saya berharap bahwa menggunakan lagu akan menjadi cara yang efektif bagi siswa untuk meningkatkan belajar bahasa Inggris dan untuk guru harus memilih lagu yang sesuai dan membuat berbagai kegiatan untuk membantu siswa belajar secara aktif.. This study aims to determine how the ethics and morality of education in developing human resources (HR) based on science and technology. This study designed case study using a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and observation through school visits supported by documentation. The findings of this study indicate that schools that have the courage to face risks based on ethical values generally have managed to overcome routine problems and have been able to develop themselves become more productive and competitive. From these findings it is assumed that the quality of ethics and morality application in school management can be the basic foundation of the school to achieve the success of developing human resources based on science and technology in their respective schools.Keywords— Ethics, learning, human resource development

Ogan river was polluted when dry and rainy season. The farmers of Keramba Jaring Apung needed big modal and got big profit. However the farmers of Keramba Jaring Apung also had big loss. This research was cultural research which was done by taking object on farmers of Keramba Jaring Apung of Muara Penimbung Ilir village, Indralaya sub-district, Ogan Ilir district, South Sumatera. The researcher had limited the problem so that the problem was not wide. (1). The researcher explained the impact of river pollution for the farmers of Keramba Jaring Apung. (2) . This research did not discuss the details of the physical condition of river pollution because it required laboratory research. This research used case study description and qualitative research methods, the purpose of that method was to see all of activities from the farmers of Keramba Jaring Apung. Techniques of collecting data used interviews, observation, and documentation. From the result of field research conducted, the researcher saw the society of Muara Penimbung Ilir was still trauma with the modal which borrowed fron the bank, so that they returned the debt of their business. The society of Muara Penimbung Ilir diversified to replace their livelihood such as: traders, framers, farming, songket and making cakes or culinary foods. Nevertheless there were also still defended to be farmers of keramba jaring apung with big modal was ready to lose or loss due to river pollution. This study aims to know the influence of interactive physics-based multimedia learning media using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software on the results of students' study of class X in SMA PGRI Pangkalan Kersik Tungkal Jaya. Variable of research is dependent variable that is result of student learning and independent variable that is learning media physics based on interactive multimedia using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA in SMA PGRI Pangkalan Kersik Tungkal Jaya which amounted to 104 students. The sample in this study was taken by random sampling technique with the number of samples of 70 students divided into two classes namely class X MIA 2 as an experimental class who received learning treatment using interactive multimedia with the number of 35 students and students of class X MIA 1 as a control class treated conventional approach with 35 students. Techniques of collecting data using tests and documentation. The analytical technique used in this study is the right-t test. The result of calculation of data analysis obtained the average value of experimental class 77,56 and the average value of control class 67,90, with significant level of α = 0,05 got ttable that is 1,697 and tcal is 4.59. Based on the results of data calculations, it can be concluded that there is the influence of interactive physics-based multimedia learning media using Adobe Flash CS3 Professional software on the results of students' study of class X in SMA PGRI Pangkalan Kersik Tungkal Jaya..

This study aimed at describing the various strategies undertaken Student Regiment in implementing character education as a form of strengthening education through Radio Cultural Heritage YBJ-6 PDRI. This research was descriptive research using qualitative approach. This study was conducted at the Headquarters of the 126 Student Assembly Regiment of Muhawarman with commanders, staff and members. Data collection is done through observation, interview, and documentation. Technique examination of data validity used is triangulation technique. The results showed that the cultural heritage is an important thing that must be considered in the process of internalizing the value of character in the Student Regiment environment. Some strategies in implementing character education through cultural preservation such as the routine activities of state defending ceremonies, social service activities, and strengthening of national values. In the effort to implement character education can not be separated from the spirit of the commander, staff and members who synergize each other in creating a more positive unit.

Abstract--- Problems encountered in the process of learning mathematics is that students have not been actively involved in the learning process and cause students to be passive because only teachers who are active therefore students only accept without them giving an opinion. The purpose of this research is to know how to learn the prism material using Kolb-Knisley's mathematical learning model. Kolb-Knisley learning model is a learning model developed by a person named Jeff Knisley which is based on Kolb model which Knisley assumes that this learning model happens to train students to be active because the learning process occurs turn of activeness between teachers and students. This model has four learning stages: Kongkrit-Reflective, Concrete-Active, Abstract-Active, And Reflective Abstract. Which happens change of activity between teacher and student so that learning will run well. Keywords: Kolb-Knisley's mathematical learning model. Abstrak--- Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam proses pembelajaran matematika adalah siswa belum terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan menyebabkan siswa menjadi pasif karena hanya guru yang bersifat aktif oleh karena itu siswa hanya menerima tanpa mereka memberikan pendapat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana belajar materi prisma menggunakan model pembelajaran matematika Kolb-Knisley. Model pembelajaran Kolb-Knisley merupakan model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan seseorang bernama Jeff Knisley yang didasari dari model Kolb yang mana Knisley beranggapan bahwa model pembelajaran ini terjadi melatih siswa menjadi aktif karena proses pembelajaran terjadi pergantian keaktifan antra guru dan siswa. Model ini memiliki empat tahap pembelajaran yaitu: Kongkrit-Reflektif, Konkrit-Aktif, Abstrak-Aktif, Dan Abstrak Reflektif. Yang mana terjadi pergantian keaktifan antara guru dan siswa sehingga pembelajaran akan berjalan dengan baik. Kata Kunci : Model pembelajaran matematika Kolb-Knisley.

The development of the PISA framework from year to year is increasingly focused on problem solving. This indicates that problem-solving ability is crucial. Considerable studies at the international level on the influence of PISA implies that the world also indirectly focuses on problem-solving abilities. The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) mentions five basic mathematical skills, one of which is problem solving. Mathematical modeling is one of the stages of mathematical problem solving. For that, mathematical modeling problems are chosen so that student can train problem solving ability. This study aims to describe problem solving ability of junior high school students in solving mathematical modeling problems. The result of mathematics problem solving test in grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Palembang has three categories, that is students with problem solving ability of mathematical well, enough, and less. The lowest occurrence of the problem solving indicator is the first indicator that is to explore and understand mathematics problems.

Information Technology today has become a fundamental need for educational institutions. Through the utilization of information technology as a medium of learning, school institutions are expected to be able to improve the quality of learning through access to information technology to develop learning media. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 26 Rimau Island. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman models. The results of this study is the use of learning media using Information Technology to develop curriculum in schools that direction toward improving the quality of education. The use of this media requires preparations such as human resources such as the readiness of teachers, students and parents. The use of learning media is expected to improve teaching and learning process in teachers and students, can be more effective, efficient, and encourage student creativity. Another advantage is the cost savings of operational learning and facilitate the preparation of teachers in teaching. In addition, it will facilitate the assessment, overcome the limitations of learning media that are not available, and hope to improve student knowledge. This paper discusses the application of education based on local wisdom in SD Negeri 8 Rambutan, Banyuasin. In the application of local wisdom in SD Negeri 8 Rambutan, Banyuasin there are various materials that will be taught among others on Indonesian language materials that explain the theme of local wisdom that can be taught through material such as fabricating, proverbs or poetry. In addition to other subject matter can also be taught with local themes. Local dance and drama performances presented at the school farewell ceremony are also part of the application of local wisdom-based education in SD Negeri 8 Rambutan, Banyuasin. This article also explains the sources of local wisdom of local culture as well as the objectives of the local wisdom-based education that is nothing other than to realize a dignified Indonesia by applying local wisdom-based education to schools throughout the country. With local wisdom-based education it will explore the various cultures of Indonesia that will ultimately build the insight of environmental sustainability. And local wisdom-based education will also lead to global citizen, which local culture also should be introduced both nationally and internationally so that will create a community with global insight.
