Abstract

The demands of the era of industrial revolution 4.0 in all aspects of life will be felt, one of which is in the world of education. The demand for teachers to be able to prepare and present learning using technological advances requires teachers to change their mindset and pattern of view. This is in accordance with the demands and description of teacher's tasks mandated in Law No. 4 of 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers, as well as those stated in 2013 Revised Curriculum. Teachers are also required to create learning that has the following five component components; (1) critical thinking skills, (2) having innovative creativity and abilities, (3) cooperative ability, (4) good communication skills and abilities, and (5) having high self-confidence.Will but not all of these demands This can be realized well. This is because the readiness of human resources for teachers has not been able to change the mindset and lifestyle according to the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0. Therefore there is concern that millennial era students and the industrial revolution era 4.0, will be served by teachers who do not fit the mindset with their students.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe students' interest in mathematics with learning methode and selfefficacy. The population of this research were junior high school students in Pulau Rimau This is aquantitative descriptive research, studied 653 students which were selected using the stratified random samplingtechnique. Data in this study consisted of data on student?s interest in mathematics (Y), learning methode (X1),and student?s self-efficacy (X2) which were obtained using questionnaires. Data analized using correlation andmultiple linear regression with ? = 0.05. It were concluded that: (i) 22.58% of students have interests in highcategory, 76.56% with moderate category, and 0.86% in low category; (ii) there is a very strong positiverelationship between the variables of learning method and self-efficacy together towards the variables of interestwith a value of r = 0.844; (iii) there is a strong positive relationship between learning method and interest inmathematics when no change of self-efficacy with r = 0.505; (iv) there is a strong relationship between selfefficacy and interest in mathematics when the learning method does not change with r = 0.585; and (v) theformula of the linear regression model is Y = 22,788+0,972 X1+0,932 X2.

Abstract

The Smart Indonesia Program is an effort made by the government for educational equity. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) at SMAN 1 Sembawa, including program targets, program benefits, and constraints that arise in the mechanism of implementing a smart Indonesia program (PIP). In this study the researcher used descriptive qualitative research methods by collecting data, interviews, documents and library sources as primary data sources and secondary data. The results of the study can be concluded that the implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) at SMAN 1 Sembawa has not run optimally as it should be, this can be seen from: 1) There are still many students who receive PIP funds that are not on target, this is because the data used in determining the prospective recipients of KIP or PIP is still inaccurate, 2) Still low awareness of students and parents of students about the allocation of PIP funds, 3) Time of disbursement of PIP funds that are late due to lack of socialization 4) Difficult mechanism for disbursing PIP funds.

Abstract

One of the challenges of teachers in the 21stcentury is the use of technology in education. In general, experts argue that multiple-faced technology. On the one hand, technology provides many conveniences and benefits, so there are teachers who rely on the use of technology in education. However, on the other hand, technology can also have a negative impact on education. The use of scaffolding in the form of technology can eliminate the essence of education. Therefore, the use of technology as an educational support must be accompanied by an awareness to continue to accommodate and maintain that essence. The essence of education is not only about transfers knowledge, but also gives exemplary, inculcates good values, fosters character, fosters potential "uniqueness" of each student, gives motivation, and looks like in the form of other "hidden curriculum". Such a thing cannot be achieved by relying solely on technological support, but requires human-intersubjective interaction between teacher-student, between students, and between teachers and students with learning resources. Therefore, a thought about "the use of technological support in learning, however still giving "the essence" of education ", it is necessary with awareness carried out by the teacher. If not, the accumulation of long-term negative impacts from the use of technological support in education will be very large. We might actually lose the "important thing" in education. The phenomenon of reductionism in education, which relies on a material summary book plus practice questions that seem to have become symptomatic and entrenched, perhaps shows that the essence of education has increasingly disappeared.

Abstract

Technology-based education is designed to help solve educational problems, so as to be able to provide benefits in an effort to improve the quality of learning. however, in practice this is not easy. This type of qualitative-descriptive study aims to explain the problems and challenges faced in applying technology-based learning in schools. Data collection is done by observing documents. It was concluded that educational efforts adjust to technological developments, facing various constraints and challenges. However, the government and education actors continue to try to deal with this, with the hope of increasing self-competence and the quality of Indonesian education quality.

Abstract

This paper is in the form of a paper that aims to see the use of technology in the form of an Android cellphone in the world of Education. In the digital era, seeing the smallest events in the world can quickly be via mobile phones. The technological advancements that have arrived at Android phones make us able to grasp the world. Android can have a positive or negative impact depending on the use and utilization in everyday life, especially in the world of education. One form of technological advancements in Android phones is the playstore, which is one of the bridge programs to install other programs. One of the many programs to study the layout and provinces in Indonesia is the "Indonesia" program. This program allows us to study the location of the province by arranging puzzles so that learning is more fun and not monotonous. This program consists of three levels so that beginners can be done at the beginner stage. The "Indonesia" program can be used at every level of education. Android can be used and used directly on other materials.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) find out the strategies used to implement ICT-based learning in the Rotan 1 National High School; 2) find out the challenges and obstacles in their application. This research was conducted using inductive qualitative methods. Data collection is done by interview, observation, documentation study, and study of research results. The results of the study indicate that the strategies used to implement ICT-based learning include 1) Multimedia-Based Presentation Learning; 2) Learning through video media; 3) Blended e-Learning. While the obstacles and challenges faced include 1). Lack of equipment availability and maintenance funds; 2). Poor infrastructure; 3) hidden curriculum is difficult to develop.

Abstract

Traditional music is a music that lives in the community for generation to generation, then maintained as a means of entertainment. But with the development of technology today, traditional music is very difficult to get a place in the hearts of listeners. The young generation who are supposed to defend traditional music now feels that traditional music is their unattractive musical tastes such as western music which is very interestingly presented in terms of composition and presentation so that they assume that traditional music is outdated music. This study aims to find out what is the reason for the younger generation to be less interested in learning traditional music and finding solutions so that the younger generation is interested in learning and preserving traditional music. The research method used is qualitative research.The results of the study show that there needs to be an active role of educators in introducing traditional music to the next generation.

Abstract

Based on RI Minister of Education Regulation No. 30 of 2005, Article 1 paragraph 1.: Non-Formal Education National Accreditation Agency, hereinafter referred to as BAN-PAUD, is an independent evaluation body that establishes the feasibility of programs and / or educational units in non-formal education pathways with reference to national education standards. Whereas in paragraph 2 contains: Accreditation of non-formal education is an activity of assessing the feasibility of a non-formal education unit based on criteria that have been established and carried out by BAN-PNF which results are realized in the form of recognition of program or unit eligibility ratings.Accreditation standards are in accordance with Government Regulation No. 19 of 2005, Article 2 paragraph 1, that: Standard Non-formal Education is a pathway to education outside formal education which can be carried out in a structured and tiered manner, in which the quality of education is guaranteed and controlled accordingly with the National Education Standards, for this reason, it is necessary to do an evaluation, accreditation and certification. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of BAN - PAUD Accreditation on the work performance of PAUD institutions in Palembang City. How much influence 8 (eight) National Education Standards have been set by BAN-PAUD on PAUD Work Achievement in Palembang city, both individually and collectively.The research method uses quantitative analysis with validity test, reliability test, F test and t test. The results of the study show that the BAN-PAUD accreditation component is good on its own- alone and together show a significant influence on improving the work performance of the Early Childhood Education Institution (PAUD).

Abstract

ICT-based education development needs to be serious thought of various parties, and needs a structured strategy with certainly focused stages towards quality improvement efforts of education that are equally global so that our education is not more deteriorated between progress of education in a world that is based on information and communication technology there must be a tiered scenario in the application of a mouse based education model that is based on the ability of schools to absorb and implement information and communication technology. government regulations that encourage school climate, teachers, employees, students to be able to change the absolute conventional learning paradigm relying on teachers, becoming modern learning that puts teachers as learning facilitators and motivators, and progress of information and communication technology as learning tools. gradually school what is involved in ICT-based education should increase in the utilization of ICT for learning, need strong teacher commitments, strong schools, which can be seen from infrastructure support, learning content support, support to accelerate mastery of teachers among teachers, and staff administrator support from schools. supporting infrastructure needs to be formed such as the division of the center for ICT-based education, both at the provincial, district level, and administrators in schools, to organize the application of the ICT-based education system.
