Abstract

A principal as a supervisor has to conduct supervision in his/her school. Hence he/she must be able to perform a variety of monitoring and control to improve the performance of teachers. Supervision and control are preventive ways to prevent teachers to do irregularities and thus will be more careful in carrying out his work as educators. This research is intended to study supervision activities performed by principal of SD Negeri 8 Pulau Rimau. The methodology of this reseach is descriptive qualitative approach. Source of data obtained from transcript from interviews conducted to teachers and Principal of SD Negeri 8 Pulau Rimau. Technique of data collection using interview techniques, observation, and document. The results of this research show several findings: 1). The focus of supervision activities performed by principal can be identified in two things i.e supervision activities concerning the teachers? administration and teachers? teaching practices; 2). Supervision activity is useful for teachers to solve educational problems at the time of learning, and to provide motivation for them to improve the knowledge to become professionals in teaching and learning process; 3). Principal?s barriers in supervision consists of overlapping activities and lack of operational budget.

Abstract

Sex education is a conscious and systematic effort, both in schools, families, and communities, to explain problems related to knowledge of organs and reproductive health, as well as instincts, and marriage to children so that sexual abuse and irregularities occur in the future. Students at the madrasah tsanawiyah level need to get greater attention to sex education because at this time children or students begin to enter the teenage phase. Sex education at this time is very important so that madrasah tsanawiyah students have a correct understanding of sex so that they do not fall into free sex, deviant sex, and sex crimes. This study uses qualitative methods and data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, news studies, study of research results, and theories related to sex education in madrasah students. The object of this study was Grade VII students of MTsN 2 Ogan Ilir with primary data sources (Waka 2 Ogan Ilir curriculum curriculum and Fiqh subject teachers) and secondary (scientific works, books, articles, newspapers, and journals relevant to this study) . The results of this study indicate that in class VII of MTsN 2 Ogan Ilir, the integration of sex education material in Fiqh lessons appears in the thaharah material which includes kinds of unclean, large and small hadast, features of aqil baligh, ablution, tayamum, and obligatory bathing (bathing janabat ) and discussed a little about matter away from adultery.

Abstract

The main problem that was discussed in the study was how the supervision of school principals carried out on improving teacher performance at PulauRimau SDN 14 as well as how supervision was carried out by school principals on improving teacher performance at SDN 14 PulauRimau. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of supervision at Rimau 14 SDN to find out the improvement of teacher performance at SDN 14 PulauRimau. The study uses field research methods and the research instruments used are guidelines for observation, documentation and data analysis techniques. The interview data used in this study is to use qualitative methods. The study concluded: (1) The implementation of supervision of principals in SDN 14 PulauRimau has been carried out effectively (2) the performance of teachers in SDN 14 PulauRimau is well implemented, so that teachers experience improved performance each year (3) improvement in teacher performance at SDN 14 Rimau Island has an influence on the supervision of the principal so that it has a positive impact on improving teacher performance.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the use of Gelam Wood Charcoal as an Adsorbent to Improve the Quality of Woven Dyestuffs in the Center of Industrial Village of Kelurahan Tuan Kentang, Seberang Ulu District 1 Kertapati, Palembang City with a combination treatment of contact time variations of 1 hour to 3 hours and activation time of charcoal with drying in the sun between 2 hours to 4 hours shows a significant effect on the quality of wastewater to be good. Temperatures from 32.3 oC dropped to 29.2 oC. The pH of wastewater from 6.1 to 6.9 is close to neutral pH 7. Soluble solids (TDS) drop from 483 ppm to 417 ppm and dissolved ions (EC) in wastewater drop from 1011 mS to 945.7 mS. Effectiveness of wood charcoal adsorbent in absorbing ions in waste with a combination combination of variations in contact time between 1 hour to 3 hours and activation time of charcoal with drying in the sun between 2 hours to 4 hours shows the optimum value in combination T3A1 ie at contact time 3 hour and 1 hour char activation time.

Abstract

In the present time, the development of information technology, especially in Indonesia, is growing. With the existence of information and communication technology can make it easier for us to learn and get information that we need from anywhere, anytime, and from anyone. In the education world, the development of information technology has begun to have a positive impact because the development of information technology in the education world has begun to show significant changes. Nowadays distance and time are not significant problems to gain knowledge, various applications are created to facilitate them. Information technology is a technology used to process data, including processing, obtaining, compiling, storing, manipulating data in various ways to produce quality information that is relevant, accurate, and timely information, which is used for personal, business, and government and is strategic information for decision making.

Abstract

Nowadays the increasing on information of technology can not be depated wit education. The education must be follow the information technology and communication. The education in digital era can be able to integrated with information technology and communication into the whole lessons. The increasing education in digital era thestudent can be understand many skills easily. The impact of inovation is learning technology method of study using experiment of technology. The change of the duty of the education needs inovation and creativities in learning process. The new technology meanly multimedia is the important thing and learning activities. With multimedia can be variation in the situation of lesson and the student enjoy the lesson. So that the teacher as a teacher must be integrated the information technology and communication into learning well and every day can be increasingly the education quality in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

The study aims to determine whether the interest class B in PAUD Aulia Palembang can be improved through the pop-up card game. The study was conducted for 22 children aged 5 to 6 years in grade B PAUD Aulia Palembang, in January-February 2018. The method used is a model of action research Kemmis Mc Taggart. The study was conducted in 16 sessions divided into two cycles. In every cycle there are four stages of activity: planning, action, observation and reflection. Data were analyzed using analysis of quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that interest in reading class B in PAUD Aulia Palembang can be improved through the pop-up card game. The reading interest class B in PAUD Aulia Palembang are on a score of 50 on the pre-intervention phase. reading interest class B in PAUD Aulia Palembang increased to 77.3 at the end of cycle I, and continued to increase to 104 by the end of cycle II. The results of the study implies that the pop-up card game could be one way to improve the reading interest

Abstract

Abstract— Teaching Factory 6M learning model is a comprehensive learning. Integrated with learning on enterpreneurship, the application of this model is expected to generate student’s interest and achieving competence in enterpreneurship. This article discusses how the application of the Teaching Factory 6M learning model and student’s achievement in enterpreneurship class effect student’s interest in enterpreneurship. Employing descriptive and verificative methods, research was conducted to students of 12th Grade Patisserie Program at SMKN 2 Prabumulih. Keywords— Teaching factory 6m learning model, learning achievement in enterpreneurship, interest in enterpreneurship  Abstrak— Model Pembelajaran Teaching Factory 6M merupakan model pembelajaran terpadu. Pendidikan kewirausahaan merupakan proses pembelajaran penanaman tata nilai kewirausahaan melalui pembiasaan dan pemeliharaan perilaku dan sikap. Melalui Model Pembelajaran Teaching Factory yang ditunjang dengan pembelajaran Kewirausahaan, diharapkan siswa mempunyai minat untuk berwirausaha. Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Teaching Factory bertujuan untuk membentuk kompetensi siswa melalui satuan kesatuan lingkungan sekolah dengan berbasis pada industri dan ditunjang dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran Kewirausahaan dalam pembentukan mental kewirausahaan. Artikel ini menelaah pengaruh penerapan Model Pembelajaran Teaching Factory 6M dan prestasi belajar kewirausahaan terhadap minat wirausaha pada siswa Tata Boga kelas XII SMKN 2 Prabumulih. Abstract

Education was a part of the learning process, the wrong learning process can cause students’ learning outcomes become less maximal, one effort in improving students’ learning outcomes was by using the model of learning. Examples are Time Token, Picture Puzzle and Index Card Match. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of student learning outcomes by using Time Token and Picture Puzzle learning models with Time Token and Index Card Match. The method in this research is Quasi Eksperimental method. Data collection techniques used in the form of giving a test of multiple choice questions. The result of this research is the learning model of time token model and Picture puzzle of the preliminary test score 31,72 and the final test is 88,78 and the t value in paired data t test is 34,69. While in the class of time token learning model and index card match has a preliminary test score of 20.28 and the final test of 81.40 and the value of t on the t test of pairwise data 46.69 while the t value in the t test of unpaired data is 4.11. So it can be concluded that there is comparison of learning outcomes between time token learning model and picture puzzle with time token and index card match.
