Abstract

This study aimed to describe students' interest in mathematics with learning methode and selfefficacy. The population of this research were junior high school students in Pulau Rimau This is aquantitative descriptive research, studied 653 students which were selected using the stratified random samplingtechnique. Data in this study consisted of data on student’s interest in mathematics (Y), learning methode (X1),and student’s self-efficacy (X2) which were obtained using questionnaires. Data analized using correlation andmultiple linear regression with α = 0.05. It were concluded that: (i) 22.58% of students have interests in highcategory, 76.56% with moderate category, and 0.86% in low category; (ii) there is a very strong positiverelationship between the variables of learning method and self-efficacy together towards the variables of interestwith a value of r = 0.844; (iii) there is a strong positive relationship between learning method and interest inmathematics when no change of self-efficacy with r = 0.505; (iv) there is a strong relationship between selfefficacy and interest in mathematics when the learning method does not change with r = 0.585; and (v) theformula of the linear regression model is Y = 22,788+0,972 X1+0,932 X2.

Abstract

Healthy environment requires community participation, through clean water programs and providing healthy latrines for families as places to defecate. The use of traditional latrines is the main cause of pollution of river water and the surrounding air. In the case of river water is a basic requirement for the community. Changing the habit of people defecating in rivers has been carried out by the government through the provision of stimulants in the form of "squat toilets" in every household of poor families. Through this family latrine program, the people of South Sumatra are expected to have started to leave their habit of defecating in the river. This situation is very contradictory to the pattern of life of modern society, which has all led to the use of digital life, but in fact some rural communities in South Sumatra still live in traditional patterns.

Abstract

Abstract— This research aims to improve children's story listening skills through the use of audio visual media for grade VI students of SD Negeri 210 Palembang.  This research is a classroom  action research  consisting of stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection.  The subjects of this research were students in grade VI of SD Negeri 210 Palembang, with a total of 41 people.  Data collection in this study used a test.  The data analysis technique used is quantitative data analysis technique that is by looking for averages and percentages of the value of listening skills of children's stories for each cycle.  Based on the results of data analysis  for the improvements that have been made, it can be concluded that learning using audio visual can improve children's listening skills.  This can be seen from the percentage of KKM achieved before being given treatment, mastery of  learning is only 25% with an average of 55.8, then after improvements in learning using audio visual media there is an increase in the first cycle to 53% with an average of 70,  then increased again to 86% in the second cycle with the achievement of the class average to 86.3.  From the results of the discussion of learning improvement, that audio-visual media can improve the learning outcomes of Grade VI students at SD Negeri 210 Palembang.Keywords— Indonesian, Audio Visual Media, listening skills Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak cerita anak melalui penggunaan media audio visual untuk siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 210 Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri 210 Palembang yang berjumlah 41 Orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis data kuantitatif yaitu dengan mencari rata-rata dan persentase nilai keterampilan menyimak cerita anak setiap siklus. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data hasil penelitian perbaikan yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan audio visual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak cerita anak. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari persentase KKM yang dicapai sebelum diberi perlakuan, ketuntasan belajar hanya sebesar 22% dengan rata-rata 55,8, selanjutnya setelah dilakukan perbaikan pembelajaran menggunakan media audio visual ada peningkatan pada siklus I menjadi 47% dengan rata-rata 70, kemudian meningkat lagi menjadi 93% pada siklus II dengan pencapaian rata-rata kelas menjadi 86,3. Dari hasil pembahasan hasil peneilitian perbaikan pembelajaran, bahwa media audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI di SD Negeri 210 Palembang.Kata Kunci— Kahoot, Media Pembelajaran, Evaluasi Siswa

Abstract

Truant behaviour was behavior that should be handled because it can affect the academic, behavior that deviates from the rules of the school and student morale. This fact occurs at SMA Karya Sembawa, SMA PGRI Pulau Harapan and SMA Bina Mandiri. This research aimed to determine the factors underlying the truant students as well as to determine the pattern of truant behavior based on factors encountered. As understood the impact of truant behavior was experienced failure in learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this research were students of class X (ABC 1 and ABC 2) and XI IPS (ABC 3) at SMA Karya Sembawa, the students of class XI IPS (ABC 4) and XI IPA (ABC 5 and ABC 6) at SMA PGRI Pulau Harapan, and the students of class X (ABC7) and XI IPS (ABC 8 and ABC 9) SMA Bina Mandiri. Data collection techniques in this research in the form of interviews to obtain information about the factors that encourage students to play truant, observations to obtain other information which supports the data that have been obtained and documentation to obtain the data subject's identity and test results MPCL. Sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. While the data analysis technique used was triangulation technique shows that the factors causing the truant behavior problems stemming from the self, family factors, and school factors with truant behavior pattern that was playing playstation or internet, hanging out, hanging out with friends who like play truant the class. Results of this research declare truant behavior can affect academic school, because it can not complete the lesson topic on the same day.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the process of applying music play and to know the improvement of linguistic intelligence of children aged 4-5 years through playing music. This study was conducted on group A children of 17 people. This research is action research with Kemmis and Taggart method which consist of 4 stages namely (plan, action, observation and reflection). This study consists of 2 cycles of each cycle of 8 meetings. Data collection techniques use observation, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data analysis is done with statistical descriptions to compare pre cycle to cycle II. The stages of qualitative analysis are data reduction, data display and verification. The results showed that there was an increase in linguistic intelligence through playing music with score on pre cycle 33.8 increasing to 50,4 in cycle I, and experiencing increase of 60,7 in cycle II with very good developing category

Abstract

This research was conducted based on learning outcomes of English of students class IX are always bad. Every time,they always seem boring and unable to answer the question, so the classroom becomes noisy. This study aims to: (1) find theproblem and find a solution so that the learning process fun and not boring for students, (2) improving the learning outcomes ofstudents of class IX 1 in English Learning aspect reading comprehension. This research was conducted at the Junior High School 43 palembang in October 2011 until Januari 2012. This study used action research method in 2 cycles and each cycle consisted of 3meetings. The instrument used in this method was:  a written test to determine the ability of reading comprehension,observation sheets, field notes. The results of this study showed that in the fisrt cycle the average percentage of students who have completed 84,21%, the second cycles of the average percentage of students who have completed 97,38%.This was in accordance with pre-determined indicators of success namely the success percentage of average of at least 75%. The conclution of this research that the ability of reading comprehension using Cooperative Learning Method Talking Stick Type in class IX 1 SMP Negeri 43 Palembang. can improve student’s ability in reading comprehension.

Abstract

Abstract--- Multicultural education is an education based on the principles and principles of multiculturalism that is the concept of diversity that recognizes, accepts and affirms human differences and equations associated with gender, race and class, religion based on values and democratic understanding that builds cultural pluralism in the fight against prejudice and discrimination. Abstract

Abstract— Quality has become a critical issue in modern competition today,and it has become a burden for middle managers.In the abstract level the quality has been defined by two important experts namely Joseph Juan and Edward Deming. Quality assurance in education is a necessitry along with the occurrence of global turbulence. Understanding the quality of education concerns the reflection of the nature of management. Every education is always designed with the aim of having a permanent or long-term influence on changes in behavior.The purpose of this research was to determine school management in improving the quality of education, by covering eight national education standards. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data collection techniques carried out through interview guidelines, observation and documentation. The research subjects were the principal, supervisor and teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Prabumulih. The results of this research have been found (1) school program planning, (2) school program implementation, which is a strategy implemented to achieve improvement in the quality of education and (3) obstacles in school progrsm planning, including lack of community participation and economic difficulties so that their support for school management come low. Therefore, after graduated their education, the students are expected to develop.Keywords— Improving the quality of education Abstrak— Kualitas telah menjadi isu kritis dalam persaingan modern dewasa ini, dan hal itu telah menjadi beban tugas bagi para manager menengah. Dalam tataran abstrak kualitas telah didefinisikan oleh dua pakar penting bidang kualitas yaitu Joseph Juran dan Edward Deming. Mereka berdua telah berhasil menjadikan kualitas sebagai mindset yang berkembang terus dalam kajian managemen, khususnya managemen kualitas. Quality assurance dalam dunia pendidikan adalah suatu keniscayaan seiring dengan terjadinya turbulensi global, pengertian mutu pendidikan menyangkut refieksi dari sifat manajemen. Setiap pendidikan selalu dirancang dengan tujuan memberi pengaruh permanen atau jangka panjang terhadap perubahan tingkah laku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, dengan meliputi delapan standar pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, pengawas dan guru pada SMP Negeri 2 Prabumulih. Hasil penelitiannya ditemukan: (1) Perencanaan program sekolah; (2) Pelaksanaan program sekolah yaitu strategi yang diterapkan untuk tercapainya peningkatan mutu pendidikandan (3) Hambatan dalam perencanaan program sekolah, antara lain kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat dan kesulitan ekonominya sehingga dukungan mereka terhadap manajemen sekolah ikut rendah. Oleh karena itu setelah tamat pendidikan, peserta didik diharapkan dapat berkembang. Kata Kunci— Peningkatan kualitas mutu Pendidikan

Abstract

Presentation of character education through learning in school becomes one of the main points in shaping the personality of learners. The updating of the curriculum that leads to the 2013 curriculum continues to be perfected by adapting the development of the era and the present era. The effort is done because so massive flow of information and technology that arise millennial generation that forget the application of character values. Instead of manifesting the values of characters in life, millennials now do not even have the moral knowledge that is qualified and good as a stock to plunge in the life of society. For this purpose, the purpose of this paper is to know the implementation of character values into the learning especially on learning science (Natural Science) integrated in elementary school. IPA is a subject that requires learners to have a scientific attitude that is meticulous attitude, curiosity, responsibility, and other attitudes that are in line with the values of character. The materials in science learning especially in high class are able to train learners to embody the values of character in everyday life.

Abstract

Education is the gateway to a better life by fighting for the smallest things to the biggest things that every human being would normally pass. In every era there is always renewal in the education system. In the 21st century, education is required to be more advanced and easily accessible to all groups. One of them, the creation of "Industrial Revolution 4.0" in other words the era of digital-based. One of the challenges of industry 4.0, namely in the world of education is learning innovation carried out by Human Resources, in this case the teacher utilizes information technology facilities that developed rapidly in the era of revolution industry 4.0 so that it can play a role in improving the quality of learning. The challenge of education in this era is how to prepare teachers for the use of current technology and maximize the abilities that teachers have in using the latest technological equipment. Therefore, Indonesia must immediately prepare professional educators, namely educators who are able to use e-learning, because the ability of educators to use technology is one of the solutions to prepare competent millennial generations.
