Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effort of PAUD institution institution to maximize the participation of the society and the academics become part of the effort to improve the service of Early Childhood Education. This research was conducted at TK Negeri Pembina 1 Palembang. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The process of data collection and data mining using observation methods, interviews, documentation and literature review. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of research, namely 1) in the preparation of TK Negeri Pembina 1 palembang program includes academics consisting of UNSRI students and UNJ students to provide studies and suggestions and feedback on the designed service program; 2) the community, especially the parents of children involved in parenting, is always emphasized to be an important part in the success of the early childhood program by continuing the program of Early Childhood Education in the family environment; 3) The community, especially the parents of the children, is always involved in the activities of perenting, both as resource persons and as participants; and 4) through collaboration with Puskesmas, parents are trained in the form of family education services how to provide good care and nutritional intake to the child. the participation of parents, community, and academia can further maximize the service standards instituted in Early Childhood Education in TK Negeri Pembina 1 Palembang, both on the aspect of education services, the aspects of care services and nutrition services aspects in early childhood, especially in the city of Palembang.

Abstract

Abstract—. This study aims to determine the efforts of schools to instill awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship for young people in welcoming the Asean Economic Community (AEC) and the industrial revolution 5.0. The research site was conducted at Sekayu 5 Public Middle School. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques can be done by observation, interviews, and documentation. In qualitative research, data collection uses observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The analysis technique uses qualitative analysis techniques which include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study stated that the efforts of Sekayu 5 Public Middle School to instill the value of entrepreneurship consisting of 1) independent; 2) creative; 3) dare to take risks; 4) action oriented; 5) leadership; 6) honesty, and 7) hard work, which is integrated through school culture. School efforts to instill the value of entrepreneurship to students through school culture are carried out by setting an example, continuously managing and being conditioned so that they can instill the value of entrepreneurship to students of Sekayu 5 Middle School. Keywords— Value of Entrepreneurship, School Culture Abstrak— penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya sekolah menanamkan kesadaran akan pentingnya karakter enterpreneurship bagi generasi muda dalam menyambut  Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) dan revolusi industri 5.0. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 5 Sekayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dapat dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian kualitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif  yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa upaya SMP Negeri 5 Sekayu untuk menanamkan nilai nilai entrepreneurship yang terdiri dari 1) mandiri; 2) kreatif; 3) berani mengambil resiko; 4) berorientasi pada tindakan; 5) kepemimpinan;  6) kejujuran, dan 7) kerja keras, yang diintegrasikan melalui budaya sekolah. upaya sekolah menanamkan nilai nilai entrepreneurship kepada siwa melalu budaya sekolah dilakukan dengan membentuk keteladanan, terus menurus dan dikondisikan agar dapat menanamkan nilai nilai entrepreneurship kepada siswa SMP Negeri 5 Sekayu. Kata Kunci— Nilai Nilai Enterpreneurship, Budaya Sekolah

Abstract

School is one of education units which has a significant role in shaping and fostering the characters of the students. In order to develop the good characters of the students; the students who are well-behaved, have high integrity and discipline, SMAN 3 Banyuasin III hold a program which is called Character Building. This program has been held for 2 times starting from Academic Year 2015/2016. This program is a followed up activity from the point system which is applied in SMAN 3 BAnyuasin III. This study aims to find out how far the influence of the program in improving the discipline of the students in SMAN 3 BAnyuasin III. In the beginning, this program was followed by 22 participants, next it was followed by 16. The respondents of this study involved 22 people including teachers and students. The method used was qualitative study with purposive sampling. The data obtained through interview, observation and documentation. From the result of the interview, 77% of respondents said that the Character Building program was very effective in improving the disciplined character of the students at SMAN 3 Banyuasin III.

Abstract

Academic information systems in universities are very important for academic activities of lecturers and students who are so dynamic, but this is meaningless if it is not supported by a good level of security of the system itself, especially for lecturers who are unfamiliar with mastering Information Technology. One of the important things in academic information systems is when inputting student grades at the end of the semester, it is necessary to have a security system that can be controlled by the lecturer himself even though the lecturer does not really control information technology. The innovation in making the One Time Password (OTP) feature that is sent to the user's lecturer cellular phone through Short Message Service (SMS) when value is collected, is a simple but reliable security system. This study aims to discuss the application of security to access the WEB-based Academic Information System when lecturers make inputting scores, in the form of security using One Time Password generated from random programs and MD5 hashes that generate an SMS code for authentication.

Abstract

Abstract- This research aims to know the influence model of Advance Organizer against the ability of understanding the mathematical concepts of JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL students in the country 13 Palembang. The methods used in this research is a method of experimentation Posttest Only Control Design. This research population i.e. the whole grade VII in SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. The research in this study samples taken with the technique of Simple Random Sampling, the selected classes, namely Class VII 10 as class experiments amounted to 34 students and Class VII 8 amounted to 32 as the class of the control. Data collection techniques are categorized using the test. Technique of data analysis using t-test. As for the results of the  research there were significant effects model Advance Organizer against the ability of understanding the mathematical concepts of grade VII in the SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. Keywords: Model Advance Organizer, the ability of understanding the mathematical concepts. Abstrak- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Advance Organizer terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen Posttest Only Control Design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. Sampel penelitian dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling, kelas yang terpilih yaitu kelas VII 10 sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 34 siswa dan kelas VII 8 berjumlah 32 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Tes dan LKS. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah model Advance Organizer terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Palembang. Kata Kunci : Model Advance Organizer, kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis.

Abstract

Abstract— Rapid technological advances have a major influence on the development of the education system as seen from the use of information technology-based learning media in the learning process at school such as laptops, LCD projectors and sometimes equipped with audio devices and internet access. The media can be used by teachers and students by bringing and installing them in the classroom or they are permanently installed in the multimedia room. The research carried out at SMAN 1 Air Kumbang Banyuasin district aims to describe the role of multimedia room in speeding up the learning process and to explain the factors that influence its effectiveness in use. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through data collection techniques by observation, interview and documentation. This research shows that multimedia room turns out to play an important role in speeding upthe learning process which is practical, innovative and creative because the subject matters can be visualized in a more interesting form through slides or video shows so that it can foster a desire for teachers and students to learn. Keywords— multimedia room, learning process booster Abstrak— Kemajuan teknologi yang pesat berpengaruh besar terhadap perkembangan sistem pendidikan yang terlihat dari penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah seperti laptop, LCD projector dan terkadang dilengkapi perangkat audio dan akses internet. Media tersebut dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dengan membawa dan memasangnya di dalam kelas atau sudah terpasang secara permanen dalam ruang multimedia. Penelitian yang dilakukan di SMAN 1 Air Kumbang kabupaten Banyuasin ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran ruang multimedia dalam memacu proses pembelajaran serta menjelaskan faktor yang mempengaruhi keefektifandalam penggunaannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ruang multimedia ternyata berperan penting dalam memacu proses pembelajaran yang praktis, inovatif dan kreatif karena materi pelajaran dapat divisualkan dalam bentuk yang lebih menarik melalui slide atau tayangan video sehingga dapat  menumbuhkan hasrat pada diri guru dan siswa untuk belajar. Kata Kunci— ruang multimedia, pemacu proses pembelajaran

Abstract

In order to establish the character of the students it is necessary to integrate character education in all subjects to realize Indonesian men of noble character. In practice, national education today, there is a discrepancy between the ideals of national education to social reality that happened,  student disputes, misuse of drugs. These phenomena may be they are due among other factors teachers, curriculum and learning tools. History is one of the subjects taught in high school history courses function directed to the formation of personality. If subjects associated with the history and character education delivered by attractive, then the student will not feel bored, even raised nationalism and have a noble character.

Abstract

One of the challenges of teachers in the 21stcentury is the use of technology in education. In general, experts argue that multiple-faced technology. On the one hand, technology provides many conveniences and benefits, so there are teachers who rely on the use of technology in education. However, on the other hand, technology can also have a negative impact on education. The use of scaffolding in the form of technology can eliminate the essence of education. Therefore, the use of technology as an educational support must be accompanied by an awareness to continue to accommodate and maintain that essence. The essence of education is not only about transfers knowledge, but also gives exemplary, inculcates good values, fosters character, fosters potential "uniqueness" of each student, gives motivation, and looks like in the form of other "hidden curriculum". Such a thing cannot be achieved by relying solely on technological support, but requires human-intersubjective interaction between teacher-student, between students, and between teachers and students with learning resources. Therefore, a thought about "the use of technological support in learning, however still giving "the essence" of education ", it is necessary with awareness carried out by the teacher. If not, the accumulation of long-term negative impacts from the use of technological support in education will be very large. We might actually lose the "important thing" in education. The phenomenon of reductionism in education, which relies on a material summary book plus practice questions that seem to have become symptomatic and entrenched, perhaps shows that the essence of education has increasingly disappeared.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the benefits of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) or more often we know Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a learning media. ICT is a media or tool that is used to balance technological progress. This research method uses Qualitative Methods. data collection techniques with triangulation (combined). With the use of ICT that is effective and efficient, attractive, optimal, and stimulates the creativity of students, ICT is one of the learning media that is widely used in various fields of education because it increases effectiveness and efficiency in the learning process.

Abstract

Statistical reasoning is the ability to explain why and how conclusions are obtained. Statistical reasoning is very necessary in everyday life, as well as in basic statistics and research statistics. Statistical reasoning is divided into 5 levels, namely 1) LPS 0 (does not have statistical reasoning), 2) LPS 1 (prestructure reasoning), 3) LPS 2 (transitional reasoning), 4) LPS 3 (procedural reasoning), 5) LPS 4 (integrated reasoning). This study aims to determine the level of students' ability to work on statistical reasoning questions. This research was carried out in the second semester students with the number of research subjects 80 students in the mathematics education study program at the University of PGRI Palembang. The research method used is descriptive research, with data collection techniques using tests and interviews. The results of the study show that the ability of students to solve statistical reasoning problems is at level 3 (procedural reasoning).
