Abstract

Effective schools show compatibility between the results achieved and those expected. In effective schools, all students not only students who have a high ability to learn, can develop themselves, but also students who have ordinary intellectual abilities can develop themselves as far as possible, especially when compared to the initial conditions when they just entered school. The principal is one of the important key factors in creating an effective school. Criteria that must be possessed by an effective principal: a) have a strong vision of the future of the school; b) have high expectations; c) ensure the learning runs effectively; d) efficient use of time and minimizing work stress and negative work conflicts; e) utilize and optimize various learning resources; f) utilizing information to direct learning planning; g) carry out continuous evaluation and improvement.

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to describe the similarity of two changes in the structure of short stories of different authors but the content of the story is almost the same. The data source is short story "Sampuraga" by Al-Dhimas and Cerpen "Malin Kundang" by Syamsuddin Udin, Nafron Hajim. This research is a qualitative research using qualitative descriptive method with content analysis technique. Benchmarking analysis is done by: deep reading and understanding, identification of benchmarking and interpretation of similar points. The result of the comparison of points similar to these two stories lies in the moral values and ethical values of a child because these two short stories are equally disobedient, and it is shown that the series of events that build the two story short paths have similarities at the beginning and end of the story. The second theme of the short story has a resemblance of lifting the story of a rebellious child against his mother. This is the second comparator of the short story because it has the same story relationship. Keywords— Comparative Literature, Sampuraga, Malin Kundang  Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemiripan dua perubahan struktur cerpen yang berbeda pengarang tetapi isi cerita yang hampir sama. Sumber data adalah cerpen “Sampuraga” karya Al-Dhimas dan Cerpen “Malin Kundang” karya Syamsuddin Udin, Nafron Hajim. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan tehnik analisis isi. Analisis pembandingan dilakukan dengan cara: pembacaan dan pemahaman mendalam, identifikasi pembandingan dan penafsiran titik mirip. Hasil pembandingan titik mirip kedua cerpen ini terletak pada nilai moral dan nilai etika seorang anak karena kedua cerpen ini sama-sama menjadi anak durhaka, dan ditunjukkan bahwa rangkaian peristiwa yang membangun alur dua cerpen tersebut memiliki kemiripan pada awal dan akhir cerita. Tema kedua cerpen tersebut memiliki kemiripan yakni mengangkat cerita seorang anak yang durhaka terhadap ibunya. Ini lah pembanding kedua cerpen tersebut karena memiliki hubungan cerita yang sama. Kata Kunci— Sastra Bandingan, Sampuraga, Malin Kundang

Abstract

Abstract— Teacher is a critical success through performance in providing teaching. Academic supervision is one of the principal aspects that support the improving teachers’ teaching performance. The problem of this reseach is how influence the implementation of academic supervision towards teacher performance in learning activities in SDN 4 Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin. This study is an ex post facto reseacrh, through a survey using questionnaire. Data processing used simple regression analysis. The population was all of teachers in SDN 4 Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin amount to 15 teachers, while the study samples were 15 teachers. The results showed that between two variables of the study have positive correlation with the value 75.977, positive correlation can be interpreted that the more increasing quality of academic supervision, the more increasing the teachers performance in learning activities. The correlation of the effect of academic supervision towards teacher performance in learning indicated with a percentage of 23.2%. Recommendations based on the results of the research implementation of academic supervision, principal must pay more attention to the aspects of supervision implementation, meanwhile in teacher teaching performance, teachers should further improve their performance, especially in aspect of learning evaluation and follow-up the results of student assessment. Keywords— Academic supervision, Teaching Performance, Teacher Abstrak— Guru merupakan penentu keberhasilan pendidikan melalui kinerjanya dalam memberikan pengajaran. Supervisi akademik kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu aspek yang menunjang meningkatnya kinerja mengajar guru. Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh pelaksanaan supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di SDN 4 Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto, melalui survei dengan menggunakan angket. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SDN 4 Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin sebanyak 15 guru, sedangkan sampel penelitian sebanyak 15 guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antara kedua variabel penelitian memiliki hubungan positif dengan nilai 75,977, hubungan positif tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa semakin meningkat kualitas pelaksanaan supervisi akademik, maka semakin meningkat pula kinerja guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Hubungan pengaruh supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran ditunjukkan dengan persentase sebesar 23,2%. Rekomendasi berdasarkan hasil penelitian adalah hendaknya pada pelaksanaan supervisi akademik, kepala sekolah harus lebih memperhatikan aspek pelaksanaan supervisi, sedangkan dalam hal kinerja mengajar guru, guru harus lebih  meningkatkan kinerjanya terutama dalam aspek evaluasi pembelajaran dan tindak lanjut hasil penilaian siswa. Kata Kunci— Supervisi akademik, kinerja mengajar, guru.

Abstract

Indonesian as a source of character education need not doubt its existence, because in the Indonesian language the requirement of education values which is the main substance of character education. Character education extracted from the substance of the Indonesian language can be a pillar of nation's character education. Character education as a pillar of national character education, today becomes very important, because character education is crucial to the progress of civilization of the nation, which is not only superior, but also intelligent. The superiority of a nation lies in thinking and character. Both types of advantages can be built and developed through education. Therefore, the goal of education is not only intelligence and intelligence (thought), but also moral and character, character, values, and personality are strong, superior and noble (character). In other words, between thought and character must be a unified whole. The realization of the nation's character education excavated from Indonesian language sources can be started from the education community through Indonesian language learning. In learning Indonesian language, it should be able to take place through the learning process on every basic competency taught and each indicator of learning outcomes to be achieved.

Abstract

Along with the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that is increasingly rapid, the need for a concept and mechanism for ICT-based teaching and learning (educators) becomes inevitable. The concept which was later known as e-learning brought the influence of the process of converting conventional education into digital form, both in terms of contents and systems. E-learning as a new learning model in education provides a great role and function for the world of education which has been charged with the many shortcomings and weaknesses of education, including limited space and time in the education process. E-learning is a term used for learning that utilizes communication and information technology in various ways to support and improve the learning process. There are various kinds of technologies that can be used, ranging from online and offline computer applications, presentation technologies such as Microsoft PowerPoint applications or projectors, World Wide Web, web conferences, multimedia materials such as photos or animations, tools to assess student work, games, and still much more. In implementing ICT-based learning, there are many challenges and obstacles. One of the challenges and obstacles in the application of ICT-based learning is that the inequality of infrastructure that supports the application of ICT in the education sector is an initial problem that must be resolved by the authorities, because without the infrastructure that supports the implementation of ICT in education mere dreams.

This study is about the role of education in schools in the cultural dynamics that exist in the school MTs Negeri 2 Palembang City which aims to form human beings who have a positive character that can compete. Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of teachers in increasing interest in reading and writing at Pulau Rimau Elementary School in Banyuasin Regency. The results of this study are expected to increase students' insight in increasing motivation to read and write. In addition, writing skills can stimulate students to think and reason more critically, and their courage to be active and interactive during the teaching and learning process, (2) for Indonesian language instructors. The results of this study are expected to contribute to teaching Indonesian at elementary school level to obtain knowledge and information about the motivation to read and write students so that teachers can improve the quality of education and teaching Indonesian language, especially reading and writing. The results of the research, findings and discussion of the teacher in increasing interest in reading and writing students at Pulau Rimau Elementary School Banyuasin Regency were obtained from the results of interviews and observations were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, and some material from the informants. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded: The efforts of Indonesian language teachers in increasing interest in reading and writing students at Pulau Rimau Elementary School Banyuasin Regency have been running quite well from planning to the implementation process in the classroom.

Abstract

Teachers play an important role in educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating, and evaluating students in early childhood education in the path of formal education, basic education, and secondary education. The problem in this research is to see how the Indonesian language teacher's professionalism towards learning literature in NU Middle School and Palembang State Middle School 16. The purpose of this study was to describe or explain the professionalism of Indonesian language teachers in Palembang NU Middle School and Palembang N 16 Middle School in the face of the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The current condition of Indonesian Language teachers in Indonesia has begun to improve its quality. Learning languages in the process has indeed gone so well, but this fact is contrary to the conditions of learning Indonesian Literature in Middle School. Literary learning is often overlooked even as if it is totally untouched by the teacher. In the world of industrial revolution 4.0 education, the teacher is demanded for experts and equipped with the ability to understand the world of technology, because the world of industrial revolution 4.0 teachers must be experts in applying learning media, methods, techniques learning well, and equipped with knowledge that is expert in their respective fields.
