Abstract

Fenomena terkikisnya budaya lokal semakin menyala dengan berkurangnya pemahaman mengenai nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Tujuan penelitian mengungkap kearifan lokal dalam kumpulan cerpen Dari Timur 1 2 3: Pilihan Makassar International Writers Festival. Pendekatan penelitian menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelaahan kearifan lokal berpedoman pada teori Sibarani. Teknik pengumpulan data menerapkan teknik pustaka, teknik baca, dan teknik catat. Sementara Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Ada pun tahap-tahap penelitian meliputi: pencarian sumber data; membaca dan mencermati data penelitian; menentukan fokus penelitian; menganalisis kearifan lokal dalam data penelitian; mengelompokkan kearifan lokal yang telah ditemukan; mendeskripsikan kearifan lokal dalam data penelitian; dan membuat simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat jenis kearifan lokal, meliputi pengetahuan lokal, budaya lokal, keterampilan lokal, dan proses sosial lokal. Muatan lokal dalam kumpulan cerpen Dari Timur 1 2 3: Pilihan Makassar International Writers Festival memperlihatkan pengarang ingin memperkenalkan kearifan lokal daerah kepada pembaca.

Abstract

This study refers to three main problems, including the mufradat learning process in Pastika As-Shariff Keningau Malaysia, the problems that occur when the learning process is carried out and the efforts made to overcome the problems. The type of research that the author does is qualitative research. In this study, data collection was carried out by means of observation (observation), interviews / interviews, and documentation, the documentation in this study interviewed Arabic language teachers, vice principals, and students. The data analysis technique in this research is the data analysis method. Analysis of the data in this study, namely the qualitative analysis method was carried out before entering the field, during the field and after the field. The results of this study are: knowing the learning process carried out at Tadika Pasti Ashharif Keningau Malaysia, knowing the problems that occur when learning Arabic, and the efforts made by the teacher in solving these problems.

Abstract

Every human being certainly has a desire in each of them, including the desire to have an ideal body. When you want to get the ideal body, humans will go on a diet. Not a few people who are successful on their diet share their diet program through social media and even write it down in a book that contains information about the diet program. Regarding diet information in the book can come from someone who is not a nutritionist. However, the diet that is carried out by one person does not always have a positive impact on others, resulting in losses. In this study, we want to find out how the legal protection for consumers who are harmed by buying a book about the diet program from someone who is not a nutritionist in terms of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and the responsibility of the author of the book. The method used in this paper is normative juridical by using a statutory approach to answer the problems in this research. Every consumer has the right to get comfort, security, and safety for the goods and/or services he uses, so writers who write books must of course write their books clearly, correctly, and honestly. In addition, the author of the book must also complete the book or work he wrote and provide compensation to consumers who suffer losses due to the diet program written.

Abstract

Televisi sebagai media massa populer yang dikonsumsi masyarakat dari berbagai kalangan, seringkali lebih mengakomodasi budaya kelas dominan (kelas atas). Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui berbagai program TV mulai dari sinetron, film, komedi, talk show, reality show, hingga iklan, yang sering menampilkan simbol status kelas atas. Peran TV Edukasi (TVE) sebagai salah satu media pendidikan menjadi penting untuk untuk mengenalkan nilai-nilai budaya dari kelas atas maupun kelas bawah. TVE tentu diharapkan mampu menyajikan tayangan yang dapat mengakomodasi nilai-nilai budaya semua lapisan masyarakat secara seimbang. Namun, dalam realita yang terjadi bisa saja tidak demikian. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasikan keberadaan bias kelas dalam program Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) di TVE Kemendikbud serta menggambarkan budaya kelas atas dan kelas bawah yang disosialisasikan pada program tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis isi kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar simbol status yang disosialisasikan pada tayangan BDR adalah simbol kelas atas. Hal ini mengindikasikan adanya bias kelas atas dalam tayangan tersebut. Melalui sosialisasi yang didominasi kelas atas, kelas bawah dipaksa mempelajari budaya yang berbeda dengan budayanya sendiri. Inilah yang kemudian disebut sebagai kekerasan simbolik. Mekanisme ini terlihat jelas dari proporsi budaya kelas atas yang lebih banyak disosialisasikan daripada kelas bawah.

Abstract

This research tried to explore the social policy of the Direct Cash Assistance of Village Fund. As the COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2 was first detected and began to develop at the end of 2019 in Wuhan, China, it did not stop spreading to almost all countries in the world throughout 2020. The diseases that attack the respiratory organs have made more than 590 million people worldwide infected with this virus. In Indonesia, the pandemic caused several major impacts in all sectors, such as the health sector, the economic sector, the education sector, the religious sector, and others. In fact, the implementation of PSBB and PPKM policies can reduce the economic growth and cause many people losing their jobs, thereby it potentially increasing the number of poor people. In the context of handling and anticipating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has launched several social safety net programs, one of which is called as the Direct Cash Assistance of Village Fund which is expected to ease the economic burden of rural communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach. Data obtained through the literature studies. The results of this study found that there were complexities and several problems encountered in the implementation of the Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance distribution that tackled by the village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas keterampilan menulis yang berkaitan dengan keterampilan produktif. Keterampilan menulis mengacu pada kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh seseorang untuk menuangkan ide atau gagasan. Kegiatan menulis dapat dilakukan ketika seseorang mendapat ide, lalu disampaikan melalu tulisan. Ada pun alasan yang melatarbelakangi peneliti memusatkan permasalahan pada keterampilan menulis resensi. Pertama, kegiatan menulis merupakan bentuk keterampilan berbahasa paling akhir, dibanding keterampilan berbahasa yang lain. Kedua, untuk melihat sejauh mana siswa dapat menuliskan resensi berdasarkan konteks yang sudah ditetapkan, yakni menganalisis tulisan resensi dengan berbagai variasi serta memperhatikan aspek-aspek menulis resensi. Metode penelitian menerapakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian sejumlah 30 siswa dari SMAN 1 Klari dan objek penelitian keterampilan menulis resensi siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tahap-tahap penelitian di antaranya memilih lokasi penelitian; meminta persetujuan penelitian; mengamati subjek penelitian; melakukan wawancara informan; memvalidasi instrumen penelitian; mengambil data; mentraskripsi tuturan ke bentuk tulisan; penyusunan hasil penelitian; dan menyimpulkan keseluruhan hasil analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa sudah dapat menuangkan ide atau pendapat terkait hasil bacaan. Nilai KKM bahasa Indonesia di SMAN 1 Klari yakni 70. Rata-rata keterampilan menulis resensi siswa memperoleh kategori baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh dengan kategori baik berada pada nilai 79,5.

Abstract

TOEFL is one method of measuring English competence and serving as a standard for anyone studying or speaking English as a foreign language. Because the TOEFL is a globally renowned language test that certifies one's English ability, there is a minimum score to achieve in order to complete a certain requirement, such as a support document to apply for a job, institution, or study abroad. It is challenging for almost all Indonesians to attain a minimum TOEFL score. The purpose of this article was to figure out the effectiveness of the TOEFL preparation training program in enhancing students' TOEFL score. This paper gathered information using action research, which consists of four steps: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The TOEFL training program was carried out four times a week for a month, including eight meetings for listening comprehension, ten meetings for structure and written expression, and ten meetings for reading comprehension. The class divided into three classes for each class consisting of 32 students. From the result, it can be seen that there is a significant improvement after the students participated in the TOEFL training program. It showed the students who reach score ≤400 in post-test more than in pre-test and the score increased as expected. On the pre-test, the students who got scores 400-500 was only 3% and after the training was given it increased became 13%. It can be concluded that TOEFL training program not only helps the students to improve their scores but also their comprehension of the TOEFL test

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas metode pembelajaran pendidikan agama Kristen melalui musik gereja pada anak. Metode ini merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang tidak kala penting dengan pendekatan lain. Metode pembelajaran PAK melalui musik gereja yang dikaji dalam penelitian adalah metode pembelajaran PAK mengalun dalam wiraga, mensyairkan dalam wirama, melodi dalam wirasa, mengekspresikan dalam wirupa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode peneltian kulitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini akan mendeskripsikan metode pembelajaran PAK yang digunakan sebagai pendekatan dalam pembelajaran melalui musik gereja. Kata Kunci: Musik Gerejawai, Pendidikan Agama Kristen

Abstract

The use of gamification in teaching innovation provides hope to involve students, motivate in their learning study. Most of the previous studies examined the success of gamification for students. However, there are few studies that examine teacher perceptions in adapting the application of gamification. In this study, we used a qualitative approach to delve deeper into the opportunities and barriers teachers feel in implementing learning gamification. The results showed that some teachers could see the benefits of gamification in attracting students' interest in learning and creating more interactive learning. From the other side, some teachers find gamification challenging in its application. The perceived barriers for teachers to use gamification are lack of time in preparing gamification, lack of knowledge about gamification, and inapposite class arrangements for game educatin activities. There must be a stimulus from related organizations in overcoming this problem, for example by providing teacher training on the benefits of applying gamification to encourage the response of teachers in implementing gamification learning.
