Abstract

This research is done because some problems in writing, and the objectives of the research is to describe the level of achievement of student in writing ability at SMKS PANCA DHARMA Padangsidimpuan. Researcher conducted by classroom action research (CAR) by using Kemis and Robin design. The researcher conducted two test and two cycles in this research. The participant of this research is one class consists of 26 students from class XI-B. The technique of data collection are test, observation, and interview. Based on the result of the research, researcher found that students’ writing ability was improved. It is supported by the result of the testing in cycle 1 was 65 (34.61%) and cycle 2 was  73.84  (65.38%). It can be concluded that Genre Based Approach

Abstract

AbstractPerception someone has a significant impact on a person's attitude toward what he perceived, whereas the perception is not always true. Perception is a process that konpleks, which consists of a sensing, process, organization and interpretation. In the context of this study that examined is how the public perception of the existence Padangsidimpuan STAIN campus community radio FM Proxy STAIN Padangsidimpuan as media of dakwah. The background of this research presence in campus-based community radio in STAIN Padangsidimpuan. As a campus-based community broadcaster, the campus community participation in radio broadcasting sustainability has become a "duty". Based on this problem, this research is a descriptive qualitative research. This study concluded that the campus community has a positive perception of the presence Padangsidimpuan STAIN radio as a medium of dakwah. It can be seen from the attitude of the campus community who agree that the radio broadcast format STAIN Padangsidimpuan is radio dakwah, and hope that the presence of this radio as a dakwah radio icon in the TABAGSEL. Abstract

This study empirically explores the determined factors of muzakki intention to pay zakat at the zakat institution (BAZ and LAZ). The determined factors of muzakki intention to pay zakat at the zakat institution in the study comprises attitude, subjective norm, and perceive behavioral control. 100 questionnaires were disseminated to the respondents. The data were analysed using a logistic regression. The result of the study showed that perceive behavioral control positively affected the muzakki intention to pay zakat at the zakat institution. This study implies that necessary the role of muslim scholars, government and zakat institution to attrack muzakki to pay zakat in zakat institution.

Abstract

The problem of learning foreign languages has always been a barrier in the process of learning interaction that makes foreign languages a scourge for students. This also creates certain difficulties for teachers in carrying out the process of teaching foreign languages, not to mention talking about the egoism of teachers who fail to see and develop students' language interests. Previous research studies indicate that the problem of learning foreign languages is a psychological problem.This research is a mixed-method study that combines quantitative-qualitative approaches to explain the influence of language interest on students’ learning outcomes at Al-Abroor Modern Islamic Boarding School in South Tapanuli Regency. The data collection methods in this study used interview and questionnaires to determine language interest and students’ learning outcomes by carrying out written test.The sample in this study were 141 students from a population of 380 people. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive statistics to find out students' language interest and learning outcomes both in Arabic and English. The findings of this study indicate that students’ language interest is greater in Arabicwith  thelanguage interest percentage at 80.60% and learning outcomes at 63.54%. Meanwhile, the English language interest is at 71.48% with learning outcomes at 28.36%. This finding, thus, shows that the difference in students' language interest in Arabic and English is 9.12% with a difference in learning outcomes of 34.87. This research also shows that language interest grows naturally and internally within students which is then strengthened by other supporting factors. In this case, the Arabic language interest in students grew stronger because of the use of Arabic in other subjects. Therefore, it can be concluded that developing language interest can be a factor that supports the successful implementation of language learning.

Abstract

AbstractCharacter education is a cultivation system of values of the character of the child, which includes knowledge, consciousness or volition, and actions to implement these values, both to God, ourselves, others, the environment, or nationality to become a good person. Character education should be imparted to the students with integrative pattern to shape the personality of the students. In character education in schools, all components must be involved, including components - components of education itself, ie the content of the curriculum, learning and assessment, quality of relationships, handling or management of subjects, school management, the implementation of the activities or curricular activities, empowering infrastructure , financing, and work ethos throughout the school community and the environment. All the above elements should be integrated education as a whole in establishing the character of students.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Karakter, integralistik, kepribadian

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana para guru mencocokkan gaya mengajar mereka dengan gaya belajar siswa. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif yang menyelidiki dan menggambarkan fenomena gaya guru dalam mencocokkan gaya belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di IAIN Padangsidimpuan terhadap 10 kelas sebagai responden yang terdiri dari 222 siswa dan 10 guru. Untuk mengumpulkan data, kuesioner diberikan kepada siswa, wawancara dan observasi diberikan kepada guru. Kemudian, analisis data deskriptif diimplementasikan dalam menganalisis data yang dikumpulkan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dari 222 siswa, 57 siswa adalah pelajar visual, 46 siswa adalah pelajar audio, 29 siswa adalah pelajar verbal dan 90 siswa adalah pelajar kinestetik. Sehubungan dengan gaya mengajar guru, terlihat bahwa hampir semua guru dianggap sebagai guru yang suka menyuruh siswa untuk membuat tugas otentik dan memberikan contoh terkait dengan konteks kehidupan nyata siswa. Selanjutnya, untuk mencocokkan gaya peserta didik kinestetik, para guru menyediakan banyak permainan, untuk mencocokkan peserta didik visual para guru menggunakan banyak gambar, untuk mencocokkan peserta didik audio guru juga memberikan penjelasan lisan, akhirnya untuk mencocokkan peserta didik verbal para guru memberikan penjelasan tertulis di papan tulis. Akhirnya, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru telah mencoba mencocokkan gaya mengajar mereka dengan gaya belajar siswa. Namun, sangat dianjurkan bagi para peneliti berikutnya untuk menyelidiki gaya mengajar guru dan kaitannya dengan prestasi siswa

Abstract

Artkel ini berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan berkaitan dengan analisis terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan atau menggunakan intonasi dalam membaca teks berbasaha Inggris pada mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Inggris IAIN Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dalam bentuk deskriptif dengan rekaman sebagai instrument untuk mengumpulkan data yang dilakukan melalui tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan yang rendah dalam menunjukkan intonasi yang benar ketika membaca teks, khususnya pada intonasi yang tinggi

Abstract

AbstractIslamic business direct economic or business world full of economic values and ethics, in other words that Islam never separate the economics with ethics. The supermarket or grocery store is a store that sells all kinds of daily necessities. The word is literally taken from the United Kingdom, this means it is a huge market. Goods sold in the supermarket are usually the stuff of daily goods. Sewalayan Grace Shariah as a buying and selling community has showed the appropriate business pattern of Sharia. This is evidenced from the pricing of goods, pricing of honesty in terms of capital and the sales price and the price of conformity with the quality of the goods, and the granting to the purchaser of khiyar khiar khiyar assemblies, aib, khiyar ru'yah and khiyar ' ain. Kesyari'ahan sewalayan is also visible from the pemasaranya form. The employees look with their nakedness so Moslem clothing protected in accordance with the guidance of Allah and his apostle. Buyers feel comfortable with their appearance with clothing muslimatnya. In addition it also reprimanded employees buyers with courteous and sapa said kindly. Employee memperikan fast assistance to buyers both in terms of the provision of the required goods or pasilitas goods to ease the akutan buyers bring their goods. Abstract

da'wah in Indonesia. In addition, Islamic boarding schools are defined as sustainable ritual institutions, moral development institutions, as covering Islamic Education. It is also as social institutions that have experienced various life variations; which is adjusted to the burden of growth of the community in the midst of the pesantren. This research is intended to describe the history  and the social changes of the  communities of the Al-Ishlah Sidamulya Astanajapura Cirebon Islamic Boarding School. It is also to describe the role of the Boarding School in fostering the lives of the community around the pesantren. This study uses historical history studies. The results of this study indicated that the Al-Ishlah Sidamulya Islamic Boarding School is one of the pesantren which has an important role in matters relating to the Sidamulya community; in religious, educational, social and economic fields of the communities. The social changes happen in the communities are malima activity (the thief, main, madat, mabok, madon) changed to salima (shubuh, dhuhur, ashar, maghrib and isya). In addition, planting the values of Islam to show the real Muslim through routine tarikat (Tijaniyah), activities of manakiban, tahlilan and tadarrusan.

Abstract

The background of the research problem is students assume that Indonesian language courses are subjects that are considered easy and do not need to be studied on the grounds that they are able to speak Indonesian verbally, Indonesian has been used in everyday life both in formal and non-formal environments. This reason makes students assume that learning Indonesian does not need to be learned and is not included in the use of international languages as the language of communication between countries. If this continues, it can indicate the students' thinking that Indonesian is not important to learn and understand, thirdly, students assume that Indonesian language courses are only for meeting SKS and not for the importance of learning Indonesian language. If this statement is true then this subject is not yet based on its desire to know Indonesian language learning. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions and attitudes towards first semester Indonesian language learning at IAIN Padangsidimpuan. This research method uses descriptive qualitative approach with this research data collection instrument in the form of questionnaires, observation and interview processing techniques and data analysis of this research is data editing, data reduction and drawing conclusions namely compiling data editions into systematic sentences. The result showed that the students think that bahasa Indonesia is easy to study, on the other hand they still unable to use it whether in daily communication or even in written expression. Their attitude to bahasa Indonesia is still low, it means that they are not care about bahasa Indonesia lesson because they think that it is not important for them, it is shown by inability of the students in writing scientific article
