Politika: Jurnal Ilmu Politik (e-ISSN 2502-776X) (p-2086-7344) is a multi-disciplined journal focused on the study of political science, governance issues and public policy in and on Indonesia and Asia. The journal publishes theoretical and empirical research articles with an aim to promote and disseminate academic atmosphere in and on the region. The journal has areas of concern that includes political science, Indonesian politics, Asian politics, governance issues in Indonesia and Asia, public policy in Indonesia and Asia, decentralization, political parties and national and local election. The journal publication includes articles, research notes, notices on conferences, workshops and seminars, and book reviews. Politika is published on April and October every year.

<![CDATA[Abstrac What so-called “money politics” practices occurred during the legislative election is well-known publicly, including happened in Blora District. Even this practices are caught by election supervision committee based on the information from local people in Tambahrejo Village, Tunjungan Subdistrict. In many cases, however, this money politics practices rarely uncovered due to its secrecy nature including the cases which reported officially to the committee such as in Randublatung Subdistrict. Those money politics practices never been resolved and only became an allegations. This research more focused on the public perceptions about the practices of money politics during the legislative elections, including how the public response on this issue and the degree of their objectivity to vote the candidates.Keywords: Legislative election, money politics, perception]]>

<![CDATA[AbstractLaw No. 22/1999 on local governance gives more power to Local Assemblies (DPRD) as"the local legislative body". The Law No. 22/1999 lays down their rights and responsibilities in somedetail. These include overseeing budgets, drawing up local regulations to select governor, mayor ordistrict head (bupati), including the power to call the governor, mayor or district head (bupati) toaccount. The Law No. 22/1999 was revised by Law No. 32/2004. Under Law No. 32/2004 DPRD haveloss many powers, including the power to select the governor, mayor or bupati. Today’s main issue isstrengthening the position of DPRD. Definisi seperti ini sudah jamak ditemukan di lingkup perdesaan di Jawa. Namun, dari pengalaman Program Nasional Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (PNPM) Perdesaan khususnya oleh kader program, artikel ini berargumen bahwa ada alternatif sumber kuasa yang lain selain materi dan posisi di pemerintahan yang kemudian menjadikan seorang yang biasa menjadi anggota kelompok elite. Sumber non-material ini adalah loyalitas, dedikasi dan kepercayaan. The existence of both principal repayment and interest, causinghlangnya economic welfare as measured by the amount of utility lost from the state as a result ofvarious payments. Foreign debt in its implementation does not add to the improvement of productivityand economic efficiency as well as contrary to the philosophy of the debt policy that is acting as acomplement to the main pillar supporting the budget.Indonesia is a large debtor. <![CDATA[Research that was headlined investment in Regional Autonomy era ( case study constraint the construction of PLTU project in the Batang Regency) is done using analysis of Pustaka about the concept of investment and the concept of regional autonomy. The study is done with the methodology of some research qualitative descriptive with purposive of sampling techniques in determining an informer and continues to be a snowball of sampling. Obtained data in field indicates that central program of government included in the program Master Plan for Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia's Economic Development (MP3EI). The program of PLTU in Batang Regency worth more or less 38 trillion. Realization of PLTU project development was delayed for two years since the early planning. The delay of PLTU project has several problems, among others, such as lack of coordination between the central government and local governments, investors, a policy that overlap related regulations of marine conservation issued by regent, and the land acquisition process experiencing self denial of the owner of the land. Attempt completion constraint is still done through personal approaches between the local Government to the Government of the village, between the Government of the village with its citizens, especially the owner of the land where the project will be built and efforts in corporate social responsibility (CSR) by the investors realization with the construction of various public facilities to affected communities]]>

<![CDATA[The election 2009 is a quite phenomenal because the Democratic Party won the legislatif election the same President/Vice President election while the PDIP strunggle for the second time failed, where as in Central Jawa positions untenable. The election 2004 PDIP won 24 seats, 2009 23 seats and 2014 27 seats.The research is are qualitative case study approach. The main characteristic of are good case study is to demonstrate are deep understansing of the case.The results that the number of seats and party that is able to put cedres in DPRD Central Java Province in 2004 was 7 party in 2009 11 political party and 2014 there were 8 political parties all of wich affect the opportunity to occupy posutions in the Provincial Parliament Central Java. <![CDATA[Identity politics is a concept and a political movement which the attention focus is difference as a major political category. In Indonesia the identity politics is more related to ethnicity, religion, ideology, and local interests that are generally represented by elites with their respective articulations, respectively. The direct local elections since 2005 have created an interesting phenomenon, when religious and ethnic-based politics are considered the strategic in attracting sympathy and support from the community. This research is aimed to find out the religion influence and ethnic on the voting behavior by Kupang society in the East Nusa Tenggara Governor and Vice Governor Election 2013. In this research is used Ethnic especially primordial theory by the instrumentalist approach, and religion especially religious and voting behavior approach in psychological and rational. The research method used is quantitative research method with multistage random sampling technique, with the primary data collection method using survey and document analyses as well as literature for secondary data. The results showed that religion and ethnic influence on the Kupang people voting behavior in the East Nusa Tenggara Governor and Vice Governor election 2013.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract Political recruitment is one of the functions of the political party that has so much meaning for democratic life. One of the recruitment is done by the political parties are recruiting legislative candidates (candidates). In terms of doing a political recruitment, there are a variety of patterns made ​​by the political parties. In this paper will discuss the pattern of recruitment by the Golkar Party, as we know that the Golkar Party was one that has been able to do well proven recruitment processes of many qualified cadres who once owned by Golkar party. The research we are doing by using interviews we did for one of the members of the selection team and some legislative candidates who have registered in the Provisional List of Candidates (DCS). With this study method there is some information that we get from the research that we do are especially DPD Golkar Golkar Party Central Java Province provides more opportunities for Caon of internal party compared to candidates from outside the party. From the research we did we also know that the recruitment mechanism by Golkar party of the DPP to the extent of the District Council / City has been summarized in a decision of the DPP. Based on the research results and even then we can finally conclude that the pattern of recruitment of candidates is done by DPD Golkar Central Java province is open.
