Abstract

Community service program focused on developing competitive and cultured leading of tourism village. The partner of this service is "Tapak Tilas Sultan Agung" tourism village, one of the leading tourism products is Watu Goyang. This service was carried out with active participation through training, assistance, and development facilitation. Some of the programs that have carried out are: (1) strengthening human resources by organizing of tourism village, training includes: financial coaching, marketing training, innovation tourism product, package marketing training, marketing communication, and digital marketing training; (2) Outbound tourism, this development have carried out by providing training of trainers, and packaging outbound in watu goyang; (3) Packaging tourism products by applying the concept of "living in" in a tourist village, (4) Facilitating the development of watu goyang, carried out with various things: provider of superior tourist product information boards and information on watu goyang tourism map; (5) making the watu goyang tourism map; (6) changes in the new brand of watu goyang "watu goyang: wisata negeri khayangan" and carried out various promotions through websites, social media, and others.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease-19 is a contagious infectious disease caused by SARS COV-2, which is often known as the Coronavirus. This disease is new so humans do not have immunity to the virus. Vaccines and drugs for this disease are founds worldwide. Pregnant women are one of the community groups that are prone to contracting COVID-19 because the immune data of pregnant women have decreased due to the process of pregnancy. The rapid survey conducted by many 60% of mothers lacks knowledge about the prevention of transmission of COVID-19 during pregnancy. The considered because pregnant women ask independently to be vigilant in maintaining their health. Based on the above problems, the midwifery study program at the Faculty of Health, University of Muhammadiyah Gresik, will carry out community service activities by strengthening the understanding of pregnant women about how to prevent transmission of COVID-19 during pregnancy. Counseling will provides two methods of approach, namely, the home visit approach and the network approach. Counseling aids used are in the form of videos and pocketbooks. The home visit approach carried out to homemakers who have difficulty in accessing information technology and mothers who do not work. The process in the network makes by spreading the youtube video or video link prepared in a WhatsApp group created by partners. This activity aims to increase maternal understanding of how to prevent transmission of COVID-19 during pregnancy so that pregnant women are healthy and safe.

Abstract

Innovation and marketing of a product are prioritized for the progress of a business. KTHR Rukun Amanah produces a product, namely a drink from processed green grass jelly which is one of the advantages with the hope of increasing people's income. However, there are problems faced by KTHR in developing processed green grass jelly products, that are the limited marketing of the product which includes unattractive product packaging and low selling prices. To increase sales and consumer interest in green grass jelly processed drinks, innovation and marketing expansion are needed. The form of innovation carried out here is the design of the brand logo for processing green grass jelly and packaging innovation in the form of bottles to make it more attractive. Furthermore, marketing expansion is carried out by providing access to sell Chao Chendol beverage products to bazaars and also stalls in the campus of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang.

Abstract

Today many farms have to be closed due to a large amount of air pollution (odor) and house fly attacks (Musca domestica), which fly in residential areas. There have been many attempts by the breeder to overcome the house fly attack, one of which is by giving insecticides. However, the use of pesticides that are not following the principle of integrated pest control. The purpose of this activity is to provide training the manufacture of home fly control products with isolation techniques (z)-9-tricosene as an effort to improve the economy of the society's economy in  meurandeh village. The method used in this activity is the method of approach directly, lectures, and practices. The way of procedure is carried out by listing the problems faced by society, especially a group of cattle Suka jadi and a group of cattle Mekar Jaya about the pest problem house flies and the marketing of products resulting from training activities. The lecture method carries out by providing information to the public about the advantages and benefits of trapping products and house fly traps as controlling population fluctuations of the pest house flies. The practical method carries out by providing extraction technique training (Z)-9-tricosene, which acts as a pheromone compound attracting male house flies.

Abstract

This community service program aims to implement a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) to provide electrical energy in tourist areas called rice field tourism, in order to reduce the cost of purchasing electrical energy for managers. Besides, it is also a means of education for visitors to introduce green energy in the future. The design of PLTS is adjusted to the requirements of the load that will be served at the tourist attraction. Before carrying out development, the Team first conducted outreach to local residents to introduce technology in rural areas. After the rotating program for managing tourism objects, in this case BUMDes Johar Mandiri, was given training in the operation, maintenance / maintenance of the solar power generation system, so that after the program it was able to solve the troubleshooting that occurred both in the generation system, control and distribution system. The resulting capacity of the Solar Power Plant in this Sawah Tour is 3500 WP which is used to meet all lighting needs. With this program, managers can reduce costs by Rp. 3,000,000 / month for electricity needs.

Abstract

Young women, especially those who have experienced menstruation, are considered that the reproductive organs are mature and have developed. According to GLOBOCAN data, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in 2012 found that breast cancer was cancer with the highest percentage of new cases, amounting to 43.3%, and the rate of deaths due to breast cancer was 12.9%. This community service is to detect breast cancer in teenagers as early as possible by breast self-examination (BSE), so teenage women advise to do it themselves before and after menstruation because they know their standard breast structure. Therefore, if there is a lump or any other normal thing, then they will immediately realize it and do consultations, especially in the elderly. This examination should begin periodically every month so that the lump can be found at an early stage and can quickly if a lump or other abnormality in the breast is exposed. The method used in the form of training demonstrations and simulations of breast self-examination movements. Participants consisted of 123 students, and all of them had menstruated. The results obtained from education and breast self-examination are good knowledge 4.07% of students, unified enough 82.93% of students, and less than 13% knowledge. It means that there are still many students who are knowledgeable enough about the importance of early breast self-examination in conducting early detection of breast cancer.

Abstract

Generally, schools in remote areas, in this case SD Muhammadiyah Maesan and SD Muhammadiyah Bangeran have few students, this could be due to several factors related to learning technology, namely: teacher competence in using ICT devices for learning is inadequate, elementary schools do not yet have software as a forum for digital learning content that can be a medium for interaction of teaching and learning activities between teachers and students via the internet, ICT infrastructure in elementary schools is not sufficient for learning. Therefore, the community service team implemented a Moodle learning management system (LMS) platform for learning in both schools. With this e learning platform, it can make it easier for teachers or teaching staff to create IT / e learning-based teaching material content. The teachers are taught the process of installing, dressing and maintaining the devices. After the implementation of community service, SD Muhammadiyah Maesan and SD Muhammadiyah Bangeran can use e-learning / moodle cloud in managing the subjects to be taught.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini membahas tentang bimbingan belajar gratis untuk siswa kurang mampu di desa huta padang kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Tenggara. Tujuan dari PKM ini adalah memberikan pembelajaran tambahan untuk siswa yang kurang mampu secara gratis serta membantu siswa mengulang pembelajaran yang dipelajari mereka di sekolah. Jumlah Peserta pada PKM ini sebanyak 20 orang anak-anak tingkat SD yang tergolong kurang mampu. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sialogo Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan ialah berupa bimbingan belajar yang dilaksanakan selama 2 bulan. Hasil dari bimbingan belajar ini salah satunya sambutan positif dari orangtua peserta serta antusias anak-anak mengikuti bimbingan belajar dari awal hingga berakhirnya bimbingan belajar. Serta para anak-anak sudah mampu menyelesaikan soal pekerjaan rumah tanpa harus berdebat dengan orangtua. Sehingga anak-anak trus meningkatkan mutu belajarnya di rumah. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan bimbingan belajar bratis ini ialah (1) Jurnal yang ber ISSN. (2) Jasa dari kegiatan bimbingan belajar gratis ini dapat memberikan tambahan pengetahuan pererta serta dapat membantu anak-anak trus belajar di rumah tanpa harus adanya teguran dari orangtua masing-masing.

Abstract

Penggunaan obat khususnya kepada anak-anak perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus karena tidak semua anak mampu meminum obat ketika sedang sakit. Di samping itu di masa anak-anak memang perlu mendapatkan banyak informasi tentang berbagai profesi agar dapat menambah pengetahuan dan memancing semangat belajar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dilakukanlah pelatihan apoteker cilik kepada siswa SD di desa kemingking dalam, yang mana tujuannya untuk mengenalkan profesi apoteker sebagai salah satu tenaga kesehatan dan sumber informasi obat serta memberikan pelatihan keterampilan dan edukasi tentang penggunaan obat yang tepat. Pelatihan ini dilakukan pada siswa SD kelas 5 dan 6 di desa kemingking dalam. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan oleh 8 mahasiswa S1 Farmasi yang diwali dengan penjelasan di kelas. Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan Colour Both yang dalam hal ini mengajarkan siswa bahwa betapa pentingnya mencuci tangan yang benar dan pentingnya menyikat gigi yang benar sambil mengajak anak-anak bermain game menempelkan tangan ke warna lalu di cap ke papan yang disediakan mahasiswa S1 Farmasi. Dan diakhir acara mereka menyampaikan bahwa betapa pentingnya mencuci tangan yang baik dan benar serta menyikat gigi yang benar agar gigi tidak mudah rusak.

Abstract

The aim of community service (PKM) is to provide alternative solutions for final year students and lecturers at PKM partners, by introducing systematic literature review (SLR) research methods for final scientific works through online workshop amid the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. With strict social distancing rules and a work from home (WFH) policy that limits/experiences difficulties in making student theses to conduct field research. Problems that exist with partners also have an impact on delays in final scientific works preparation, while the preparation of final scientific papers is an obligation as a requirement for graduation, other things also have an economic impact due to the spread of layoffs for students' families/ guardians, and business activities are also not easy with the PSBB regulation from the government through a circular, with restrictions on offline learning activities/ data collection in the field. Meanwhile, PKM partners also do not know the SLR method, so it is necessary to have an SLR method workshop as an alternative solution for conducting research using secondary data so that the research method policy can be an alternative solution. The evaluation of PKM activities is carried out with a pre-test at the beginning and a post-test at the end of the workshop. Evaluation results of participants on average increased from the previous 49 to 82 or an increase of about 59%. This means that, in general, this training was successful because it exceeded the indicator requirements, namely an average score of >75.
