Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the mind mapping in terms of the quality of the material and media feasibility of validation by module experts. Expert validation is needed in module development so that the module is feasible or not used. Aspects that are validated are aspects of the module material including content, language, and media aspects of the module including presentation, and graphics. In looking at the quality aspect of the need analysis and validation of making a mind mapping based technique mathematics learning module by testing its feasibility before use. The validation analysis in the module uses methods from Crocker and Algina. The data instrument in this study was a validation questionnaire sheet. The results showed that the average feasibility aspect for the media was 89.79% and the material was 86.09, a total of 86.83%. In other words, the Mind mapping-based engineering mathematics module fulfilled the feasibility aspect. Abstract

This research aims to develop modules based on ARIAS learning models, to improve learners' learning motivation, as well as student competencies. So it will be found that meets the criteria of effectiveness, practicality and validity of the module based on ARIAS. The development model refers to the development of Borg and Gall which consists of two main parts namely designing modules and validating modules. To validate the module is carried out a validity test, a practicality test and an effectiveness test. Research Results, validation test conducted by material experts and media experts with results of 86.02 and 82.47 to meet the criteria of validity. The practicality test was carried out by practicing lecturers and 4 students obtained grades of 81.75 and 86 so that they entered practical criteria. Test effectiveness using one-group-pretest-posttest and obtained N-Gain¬ 60.95 so that it is included in the criteria is quite effective. In conclusion, discrete math modules based on arias learning models developed are feasible to be used in the sense of valid, practical and effective use, proven to increase the motivation of learners' learning, as well as the competence of learners. Abstract

This study aims to determine the Problem Solving Ability of Elementary School Class Students after the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI) was applied. This research is a quantitative research using experimental methods. The sampling technique used was a random sample technique. Where for the sampling method, which is drawn, the names that come out when drawn will be agreed to serve as the experimental class. This research consists of one independent variable, namely the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI), and the dependent variable is Problem Solving Ability. The subjects of this study were third grade students of SD 3 Lubuklinggau. Data collection is done by test technique. The data obtained were then analyzed using the t-test. After the data was analyzed using the t-test at a significant level of 5%, it was obtained tcount (7.57) > ttable (1.672), so it can be said that there was an increase in the problem solving ability of third grade students at SD Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau after the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI) was applied. . In conclusion, there is an increase in the problem solving ability of elementary school students after the implementation of the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics (PMRI) approach. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of using the REACT strategy with Prezi-based learning media on mathematical communication skills. This type of research is quantitative using a quasi-experimental research method. The population in this study were all seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 194 Jakarta for the 2020/2021 academic year. The sample used was 66 students from class 2 class. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The research instrument is in the form of a description question. The results of the normality test showed that the experimental class data were normally distributed and the control class data were not normally distributed. Hypothesis testing using a non-parametric test, namely the Mann Whitney test with a significant level of 5%, the value z_table=z_0.5(1-0.05) =z_0.475=1.96; because the value of z_count = 5.40. So that in determining the test criteria, the acceptance of Ha is: z_hitung>z_table. The results of this study can be concluded that there is an effect of REACT strategy with Prezi-based learning media on students' mathematical communication skills. Abstract

This study aims to analyze literacy, communication and mathematical reasoning on student learning outcomes during E-Learning learning on Matrix material for Class XI SMA in North Sumatra. This research method uses quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed that the sig value for the influence of literacy on learning outcomes was 0.26 > 0.001 and the t value was -2.252 < 0.26, which means that there was no influence of literacy on learning outcomes, then the sig value for the effect of communication on learning outcomes was 0.055 > 0.001 and the t-count value is 1.940> 0.055, which means that there is an effect of communication on learning outcomes. Furthermore, the sig value for the effect of student reasoning on learning outcomes is <0.001 and the t-count value is 7.867> 0.001, which means that there is an effect of reasoning on learning outcomes. In conclusion, there is no influence of literacy on learning outcomes, and there is an effect of communication and mathematical reasoning on learning outcomes during e-learning learning on matrix material in class XI high school students in North Sumatra.
