Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce discovery learning based on valid, practical and effective discovery. This research is a research development using a modification of the development model of 4-D (Four D-Models) learning tools, consisting of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The instruments of this study were the worksheet validation sheets, practical sheets, student worksheets and worksheet effectiveness sheets. Some stages in this research consist of the development study phase and the evaluation phase to test the effectiveness and test the feasibility of new student worksheets for use in learning. Validity category research results obtained an average of 3.7 with a valid category. In the practicality category the worksheets were developed based on student assessments with an average of 3.83 and based on teacher ratings of 3.63 by being in the practical category. The results of the effectiveness of learning obtained by the achievement of teacher activity with an average of 4.37 with active categories. For observations of student activities during learning takes place an average of 3.73 with the category is in active criteria. In conclusion, the development of Discovery Learning based on LKS is categorized as valid, practical and effective to be used by students in building material on flat sides, cubes and beams. Abstract

This study aims to develop PMRI-based interactive learning media using professional macromedia flash 8 on square and rectangular subject matter for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 8 lubuklinggau, as well as knowing the quality of mathematics learning media developed from aspects of validity and practicality. The research method used is the Research & Development method based on the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE development model consists of 5 stages: analysis (Analyze); planning (design); development (Development); implementation (Implementation) and (5) evaluation (Evaluation). The results of this study produce a valid and practical interactive learning media. The results of validation by material experts and media experts indicate that PMRI-based interactive learning media using professional macromedia flash 8 square and rectangular subject matter meet very valid criteria with an average score of 4.22. As for the practicality assessment that was tested by teachers and students found to meet very practical criteria with an average score of 4.45. In conclusion, the development of interactive learning media using PMRI based using Macromedia Flash Professional 8 on the subject matter of square and rectangular for VII grade students of SMP Negeri 8 lubuklinggau shows valid and practical criteria to use. Abstract

This study aims to develop scientific-based macromedia flash learning media on integer material for seventh grade junior high school students and determine the quality of learning media developed based on validity and practicality. This research is a development study using the ADDIE development model. The stages of the ADDIE development model consist of 5 stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The results of the study, from the results of the assessment analysis by the three experts namely: linguists, material experts, and media experts, the learning media developed met very valid criteria with an average score of 4.24. The results of the analysis of the practicality of the user questionnaire (teachers and students) met very practical criteria with an average score of 4.37. The characteristics of the developed media are 1) The material is in accordance with the competency to be achieved; 2) The learning objectives are clear; 3) There are clear instructions; 4) Language that is easily understood by students; 5) In accordance with the approach used is a scientific approach; 6) There is a section to motivate students; 7) Clear learning flow; 8) There are practice questions and discussion as well as evaluation questions; 9) Interactive; 10) Easy navigation; 11) Images, animations, text, and colors are presented in harmony and harmony. In conclusion, the development of scientific-based macromedia flash learning media meets valid and practical criteria for use by VII grade junior high school students in learning integer material. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes in algebraic subjects in the University of Flores Mathematics Education Study Program using realistic mathematics learning device models. This type of research is quantitative research with quasi-experimental design, pretest and posttest group, the sample is all fourth semester students of mathematics education program FKIP Flores University in 2018/2019 academic year. Data obtained using student learning outcomes, data processed using ANOVA statistical tests. The results obtained by the value of Fcount 77.13 is greater than Ftable 4.10 at dk 37. Calculation of student learning outcomes in the experimental group after using realistic mathematics learning models, seen student learning outcomes increased significantly. Conclusion, learning mathematics using realistic models can be used as an alternative to improving student learning outcomes in algebraic structure subjects. Abstract

This research aims to examine how the development of National Character-Based Mathematical Learning Media (Comics). This research is a development study using plomp model consisting of 3 stages namely: Initial investigation, Prototype Manufacturing and product assessment. The development test was conducted to a small group of 5 students and 1 Maths Teacher. The results of the study obtained data from the validation of media experts obtained a score of 76% with a very valid category, validation of language experts obtained a score of 86.36% with very valid criteria and validation of material experts obtained a score of 82.23% with criteria also very valid then the media was corrected according to the advice of the validator. Product trials by conducting practicality tests by teachers obtained a score of 80.76% with a very practical category and practicality tests to a small group obtained results of 84.23% with very practical criteria. In conclusion, the learning media (Comics) of National Character-Based Mathematics that have been developed is practically feasible to be used in the learning process. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the improvement of students' high level of thinking ability through hots-based LKPD rocky mathematics learning. This research is a kuantitafif research with research design one group pretest -posttest design. This research instrument is a question of essays totaling 3 questions consisting of indicators of tingi level thinking, namely analyzing, evaluating and creating. The sample selection was done in cluster random sampling with the selected sample is class VIII-2 which consists of 22 students. The data obtained were analyzed using unilateral t-tests. Based on the results of data analysis at a significant level of α = 0.05 obtained ρ value 0.033 with an average high level of thinking ability of students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau city is 74.09 with a good category. In conclusion, there is a significant increase in students' high-level thinking ability after doing LKPD-assisted mathematics lessons based on HOTS. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and identify students' level of thinking in doing questions based on Van Hiele's theory and to give an idea to teachers to be able to use learning methods in accordance with Van Hiele's level of thinking at IBNU Abbas Tarakan IT Junior High School. The method used in this research is a combination method (qualitative & qualitative) with sequential model. The research instruments used were tests on Van Hiele's geometry levels, and interview guidelines. Based on the results of the study obtained 3 students were in pre visualization or have not reached Van Hiele's thinking level, 6 students are at level 1 (visualization), 9 students are at level 2 (analysis), and 3 students are at level 3 (informal deduction). Based on interviews students still have difficulty in understanding the relationship between wakes as well as elements in geometry such as theorem, axiom, and definition. In conclusion, Van Hiele's geometry thinking level at Ibnu Abbas IT Junior High School is generally at level 2, namely the analysis stage and has not reached level 4 (informal deduction). Abstract

The purpose of this research is so that the next generation has a balanced knowledge between general knowledge and knowledge of national values. This research uses research and development (R&D). The data used in this study is sourced from validation sheets, validation sheets are used to obtain data about the validation results of experts on HOTS-based math problems. The problem was developed using plomp model consisting of four stages, namely preliminary investigation phase, design phase, realization/construkction phase, test stage, evaluation, and revision phase. In terms of validity, at the validation stage I, HOTS-based math problems are said to be invalid and not yet feasible to use. In phase II all suggestions of validators have been corrected and are said to be very valid and worth using. The material expert's assessment of the question obtained a percentage result of 84%, fall into the category is very valid. In conclusion, math problems based on higher order thinking skills (HOTS) national integration in students in grade VII even semesters are said to be feasible to use after being declared valid by the material expert. Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of mathematics learning with a metacognitive approach to creative thinking skills and mathematical problem solving students of Grade X TKR SMKS 6 Pertiwi Curup. This type of research is Class Action Research (PTK). The subject of this study was grade X students of SMKS 6 Pertiwi Curup which numbered 34 people. Data collection using observation sheets and test sheets. The results showed that the implementation of class actions with metacognitive learning performed well. Students' mathematical creative thinking skills improved, if in the pretest results only 5 students achieved the good category, then in the posttest results as many as 24 students have reached the good category. Indicators solve problems in less categories in pretes and in posttest test results mathematical troubleshooting capabilities show an improvement. The pretest results did not reach either category, so in the posttest results for cycle I as many as 11 students reached the good category and in the posttest result cycle II as many as 28 students were able to achieve the good category. In conclusion, learning mathematics with an effective metacognitive approach improves the creative thinking and mathematical problem solving skills of students in Grade X of SMKS 6 Pertiwi Curup. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of using PowerPoint animation and Prezi usage on student learning outcomes and compare the differences between student learning outcomes using PowerPoint animation and Prezi. The method used is an experimental method with the Pattern Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study was all undergraduate students of Mathematics Education Study Program semester II at STKIP Muhammadiyah Pagaralam with a sample of two classes. Data collection techniques used are documentation and tests. Test data were analyzed through normality test calculation, homogeneity test, average one test and two average test with calculation using SPSS for windows. The results showed that there is an influence of using PowerPoint animation with ρ value 0.000 and Prezi ρ value 0.032 with student learning results and there is a difference between student learning outcomes using PowerPoint animation with Prezi with ρ value 0.006. In conclusion, there is a significant influence of the use of PowerPoint and Prezi animations on student learning outcomes and there are noticeable differences between the learning outcomes of students using PowerPoint animation and Prezi.
