Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Teams-Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the mathematical disposition and learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Abiansemal in the 2020/2021 academic year. This type of research is classified as a Quasi Experiment with a Non Equivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Abiansemal as many as 12 classes with a total of 357 students. Two classes as samples with simple random sampling technique, namely class VIII G with 30 students as the experimental group and class VIII H with 30 students as the control group. The data obtained are quantitative data in the form of mathematical disposition scores (using a questionnaire) and mathematics learning outcomes (using an essay test). Analysis using MANOVA with the help of SPSS 23.0 for Windows. Based on the hypothesis test obtained: 1) there are differences in mathematical dispositions between students who follow the Teams-Games Tournament (TGT) learning model and students who follow the conventional learning model; 2) there are differences in mathematics learning outcomes between students who follow the Teams-Games Tournament (TGT) learning model and students who follow the conventional learning model; 3) there are simultaneous differences in mathematical dispositions and learning outcomes between students who follow the Teams-Games Tournament (TGT) learning model and students who follow the conventional learning model for class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Abiansemal in the 2020/2021 school year. In conclusion, the results of the hypothesis test indicate that there is an effect of the application of the Teams-Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the mathematical disposition and learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Abiansemal. Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to examine how mathematical literacy is during the Covid-19 period. The method used is to conclude theoretical studies by reviewing, analyzing, and concluding previous and developed research in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic. The author examines learning problems in the Covid-19 era related to mathematical literacy. The results of the study, mathematical literacy is related to real problems. The kinds of mathematical literacy are: spatial literacy, numeracy, and quantitative literacy or data literacy. In conclusion, the existence of learning barriers during the Covid-19 pandemic created solutions and learning strategies to improve mathematical literacy. Abstract

This study aims to make efforts to introduce mathematical concepts during the Covid-19 pandemic for early childhood using teaching aids. This research is a type of library research or library research. Research result. Research result, there are several mathematical concepts that must be taught to early childhood, namely: (1) The concept of numbers (2) The concept of patterns and relationships (3) The concept of geometry and geometry (4) The concept of selecting and classifying (5) The concept of measurement (6) The concept data collection and display. In planting this mathematical concept, props are needed to make it easier for children to understand the mathematical concept. Props used to be taught by parents by connecting to the context of everyday life. This is in accordance with the introduction of mathematical concepts during the COVID-19 pandemic for early childhood using visual aids in understanding mathematical concepts during the COVID-19 transition. In conclusion, parents have an important role in the introduction of mathematical concepts in early childhood, the use of teaching aids in the surrounding environment is the easiest method in increasing understanding of simple mathematical concepts in early childhood. Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical disposition of students in learning using the Socratic method. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects were students of Tadris Mathematics IAIN Bengkulu Semester IIA. The subjects of this study were selected through techniques. Purposive sampling qualitative data of students' mathematical dispositions were obtained through observation, documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. Before analyzing the data, the researcher triangulated the data sources. The data analysis technique of this research went through 3 stages, namely reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions on the data. The results of the research, from the calculation of the students' mathematical disposition scale questionnaire were classified into two categories, namely high mathematical disposition and medium mathematical disposition. During the process of learning mathematics using the Socratic method, all indicators of mathematical disposition were manifested by students with a high mathematical disposition classification, including: self-confidence, interest and curiosity, perseverance, and flexibility. Meanwhile, for students with moderate mathematical disposition classification, the tendency that appears is an indicator of flexibility, while for other indicators the dominance of the emergence is different. In conclusion, students' mathematical dispositions in learning using the Socratic method can be classified into two categories of dispositions, namely high mathematical dispositions and moderate mathematical dispositions. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the potential effect of developing sparkol videoscribe-based learning media on student learning outcomes of STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. This research is a development research using a 4D development model. This model consists of 4 stages of development, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. An assessment of student learning outcomes was conducted to determine the potential effect of developing sparkol videoscribe. Assessment of student learning outcomes is carried out by giving test questions after the learning is completed. The results of the research, the development of sparkol videoscribe has a positive potential effect, where 50% of students are in the very satisfactory category, 33.33% of students are in the satisfactory category and 16.66% of students are in the moderate category. In conclusion, the development of the sparkol videoscribe learning media that has been carried out has a potential effect on student learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to describe the characteristics of the Theory of Didactical Situation (TDS), especially in mathematics as an alternative information for educators to design learning according to the characteristics and needs of students and the learning objectives to be achieved. This study uses a literature review to explain the characteristics of TSD obtained from scientific papers and articles, relevant books, research reports, and other scientific sources. Based on the literature review, there are three characteristics of TDS, namely TDS' special attention to mathematics and its epistemology, epistemological characteristics, and students' cognitive dimensions. These three things are interrelated and support each other. This article also discusses the concept of adaptation through understanding adidactical situations and milieu and acculturation through understanding didactic situations and didactic contracts. In conclusion, through didactic situations that are built during learning and facilitated by the teacher, it is expected to be able to develop the potential of students, namely students can build their own knowledge to be achieved. Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes through cooperative learning type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) in fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 4 Tangerang City. This research was conducted on 30 students consisting of 14 male students and 16 female students. The learning used in this research is classroom action research using the spiral model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The stages of classroom action research according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart are as follows: The main concept of classroom action research consists of four components, namely planning (planning), action (acting), observation (observing) and reflection (reflecting). The results obtained in the first cycle, students who achieved complete learning were 20 students (66.7%) with an average score of 67 student learning outcomes, the second cycle reached 25 students (83.3%) with an average learning outcome. 74 , and the third cycle reached 28 students (93.3%) with an average learning outcome of 77. In conclusion, the application of the Team Assisted Individualization learning model to fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Tangerang can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of contextual learning in improving students' ability to solve math problems based on HOTs (Higher Order Tinking Skill). This type of research is experimental research, the research design uses a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were students of class VIIA SMP Negeri 2 Praya Timur, totaling 42 students. The data collection instrument used a written test in the form of an essay (essay), and data analysis used the t test. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it shows that the pretest results of students in solving HOTs-based questions are still low with an average of 31.07, and after being given treatment by applying a contextual learning approach, students' ability to solve HOTs-based questions based on the posttest average increased to 84 .57 with very high category. While the results of the t-test with a test-value of 65 obtained tcount = 15.515, for a significance value of 0.000. In conclusion, the contextual learning approach is effective in improving students' ability to solve HOTs-based questions. Keywords: Contextual Learning, HOTS-Based Questions

Abstract

This study aims to determine how big the relationship between learning discipline and basic statistics learning outcomes for students of Indonesian language and literature education in semester 1 of basic statistics course. The method used in this study is a descriptive method, which is a study that seeks to describe current problem solving based on existing data. The population and sample are students in the odd semester 2021/2022 class 5A.1. 5A.2 totaling 40 students. The results of the study, in general the student learning discipline went well. In general, student learning outcomes were categorized as good, as seen in the basic statistics learning outcomes obtained from daily test scores which had a value of 1550 with an average of 77.5. from the results of the calculation of t arithmetic of 3.785 and t table of 2.093, thus t arithmetic is greater than t table which means the hypothesis is accepted. In conclusion, there is a positive relationship between learning discipline and student learning outcomes in odd semesters of PBSI FKIP UMT Study Program Keywords: Learning Discipline, Learning Outcomes, Statistics
