esyen Perspektif merupakan Jurnal yang dikelola oleh program studi Pendidikan Tata Busana, sebagai tempat yang mewadahi berbagai hasil karya ilmiah mahasiswa dan pengajar di lingkungan Prodi Pendidikan Tata Busana Departemen PKK FPTK UPI. Terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan April dan Oktober, berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian, gagasan konseptual, aplikasi teori dan kajian analitis kritis di bidang fesyen (mode busana, pembuatan busana, desain busana, tekstil, kriya tekstil, dan tata rias). Fesyen Persfektif menampilkan hasil kajian yang membuktikan bahwa fashion sebagai kebutuhan utama manusia mengalami perkembangan dan perubahan. Kecenderungan perubahannya meliputi berbagai aspek yang melingkupi kehidupan manusia. Pelaku fashion khususnya para akademisi bidang fashion memberikan perhatianya dengan mengkaji kreatifitas, aspek fungsional dan aspek estetik dari fashion.

Abstract

Ribbon embroidery atau sulam pita, merupakan salah satu seni menyulam yang mempergunakan pita sebagai bahan sulamnya (Wahyupuspitowati, 2008). Sulam pita adalah salah satu teknik menghias kain dengan cara menjahitkan pita secara dekoratif ke atas benda yang akan dihias sehingga terbentuk suatu desain hiasan baru dengan menggunakan berbagai macam tusuk hias. Mermaid adalah sebuah istilah yang diberikan kepada makhluk air yang memiliki tubuh dari pinggang ke atas seperti perempuan sedangkan pinggang ke bawah seperti seekor ikan. Sesuai dengan namanya, gaun bersiluet mermaid berbentuk seperti putri duyung, yaitu menyempit dari atas hingga lutut, sedang dibawah lutut makin melebar. Mermaid gown atau gaun putri duyung adalah busana pas badan dari dada sampai ke panggul atau lutut, kemudian terdapat flare pada bagian bawah.

Abstract

This research investigates the benefits of learning mode design business manajement as a readiness to be fashion consultant in the fashion agency service. This knowledge and skills required to be fashion consultants in a fashion agency can be found and studied in the subject of Mode Design Business Management in Fashion Design Education DPKK FPTK UPI. The purpose of this research is to acquire the data of studying Mode Design Business Management result benefit as part of the preparation in becoming fashion consultant in a fashion agency. The methodology used in this research is descriptive methodology using questionnaires as the data collection tool. The population in this research is the students of Fashion Design Education DPKK FPTK UPI of year 20011-2012. The research results indicate that the majority of the respondents acknowledge the benefit of studying mode design business management as part of the preparation in becoming fashion consultant in a fashion agency.

Abstract

Indonesian's garment industry continues to develop, to increase its development, a garment industry needs talented and skillful people, especially for controlling the quality of product, so that the quality control cutting has very important role. The purpose of this study was to obtain the data about learning outcomes of Cutting Analysis and Using Material as the preparation to be a quality control cutting in garment. The method used was a survey method, and the data collection technique was a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were 44 students of Garment Technology and Business class of 2011. The results showed that the respondents have felt the advantages of learning outcomes of Cutting Analysis and Using Material in terms of their competency in applying the concept of Cutting Analysis and Using Material, applying the concept of the review process of cutting, applying the cutting techniques and numbering, and binding, as the preparation for quality control cutting in garment. The conclusion is that more than half of respondents have felt the advantages of the material Cutting Analysis and Using Material class as the preparation to be a quality control cutting in garment presented by lecturer.

Abstract

This study examines the contribution of learning to plan a textile craft studio mode I to readiness as a fashion designer. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of learning outcomes plan textile craft studio mode I to readiness as a fashion designer. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic method. The study population are students of the Faculty of Textile and Fashion Craft Creative Industries force Telkom University 2012 which has followed the course plan studio textile craft first mode with a total sample of 40 students with a means of collecting the data in the form of tests and questionnaires. The results showed that the learning outcomes of textile craft studio plan mode I based competency basic concept plan studio textile craft and fashion I, a source of ideas in the form moodboard and craftsmanship as a decorative design are mostly located in the high criteria and provide a significant positive contribution to readiness as fashion designer. Recommendations addressed to students of Textile and Fashion Craft results of this study should serve as a motivation to improve knowledge and skills in the field of textile craft and fashion in order to achieve optimal learning results.

Abstract

Kemajuan industri perajutan di Indonesia perlu didukung oleh penyediaan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas khususnya pada bidang teknologi perajutan. Peningkatan potensi manusia yang berkualitas dan siap bekerja hendaknya terus dibina dan dikembangkan diantaranya dilakukan melalui pendidikan. Penelitian ini mengkaji manfaat hasil belajar teknologi perajutan sebagai kesiapan menjadi teknisi perajutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu metode survei. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari setengahnya mahasiswa sudah menguasai manfaat hasil belajar teknologi perajutan terhadap kemampuan mengetahui prinsip dasar rajut, memahami pembentukan jeratan, terampil menggunakan peralatan dan mekanisme kerja mesin rajut. Simpulan hasil penelitian adalah mahasiswa telah menguasai manfaat hasil belajar teknologi perajutan sebagai kesiapan menjadi teknisi perajutan.

Abstract

The study examines the benefits of Sunda Puteri bridal makeup training results as a competency test readiness of bridal makeup conducted by YUYU Courses and Training Institute in Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic method with data collection using questionnaire. The research sample using the total sample, courses and training institution’s learners who have passed the training of Sunda Puteri bridal subject, force in 2013 which amounted to 30 peoples. The results showed that more than half of the learners know the characteristics and tools Sunda Puteri bridal makeup, less than half of the learners know the Sunda Puteri bride's face shape design, half of the learners know the Sunda Puteri bridal accessories, more than half of the learners know the Sunda Puteri ronce flowers and wedding dress as the readiness of the top bridal competency test. The conclusions of the study indicate that the majority of people who learn Sunda Puteri bridal makeup program force in 2013 have benefited from the training results as a competency test readiness of bridal makeup.

Abstract

Lichen (licheness) is a compound organism that is  a combination of  algae and Boletus (mushroom). Lichenes  is  symbiosis between algae or blue green algaewith fungi of the class Ascomycotina or Basiciomycotina thats structure affect the morphology of lichens. Lichens were widely spread on the surface of the Earth and are able to inhabit the extreme places, like the tundra, a very hard stone surfaces in the mountains or the beach. Based on its form lichens can be distinguished into three groups namely Krutos (like the crust), Folios (such as leaves), and fruktikos (like Bush).The uniqueness of the structure morphology and colour Lichenes have inspired writers to adapt into a dress ball gown as a decoration. Growing  fashion trend from time to time. The trend is predicted to have a theme 2017 as "Grey Zone" that has a sub theme that is Vigilant, Archean, Criptic,and Digitarian. sub theme has a characteristic and diverse characteristics in exploration. Archean is a theme inspired by the early period of the occurrence of fotosintesa in all, themes that represent the thoughts about the essence of life. Lichens are an inspiration is used as an exploration of the idea of shape and color in decoration dress ball gown with a touch of  laminated  PVC and sequins Pearl used as decoration Decorative Trims on the couture ball gown.

Abstract

Busana pengantin Barat atau biasa disebut dengan wedding gown pada umumnya merupakan gaun panjang (longdress), biasanya diambil dalam bentuk silouet Bustle, yaitu garis luar pakaian yang menonjolkan bagian belakang pengantin. Busana pengantin termasuk pada kelompok busana houte couture atau busana eksklusif yaitu busana tingkat tinggi, oleh karena itu busana pengantin harus diperhatikan dalam pemilihan model, bahan, hiasan, dan pelengkapnya. Model Ball gown menjadi pilihan busana pengantin ini karena model Ball Gown akan lebih menambah kesan mewah, sedangkan dalam pemilihan hiasan untuk model busana pengantin Barat ini ialah penerapan hiasan teknik melipat. Warna yang diambil dalam pembuatan busana pengantin Barat ialah warna aurora. Model busana pengantin Barat menggunakan one piece dan membentuk pas badan. Pelengkap busana pengantin barat menggunakan elbow length veil  dan short gloves agar menambah kesan anggun dan mewah pada busana pengantin Barat pada saat dikenakan.

Abstract

Burung merpati merupakan burung yang tidak pernah berganti pasangan, sehingga ritual melepas sepasang burung merpati putih menjadi salah satu rangkaian dalam upacara pengantin, yang menjadi lambang kesetiaan dan kesucian cinta dari sepasang pengantin. Filosopi merpati tersebut menjadi inspirasi untuk  mengaplikasikan origami bentuk merpati  baik warna maupun stilasi bentuk pada busana pengantin, untuk menggambarkan suasana hati dan do’a kedua pempelai. Origami merupakan seni melipat kertas yang terkenal dari jepang, dan merupakan suatu kebudayaan di kalangan orang Jepang dalam agama Shinto. Pada upacara perkawinan agama shinto, origami bentuk burung digunakan sebagai pembalut botol shake, yang melambangkan sepasang pengantin pria dan wanita. Keunikan bentuk origami yang dibalutkan pada botol shakemenjadi inspirasi penulis untuk diaplikasikan pada gaun pengantin dalam bentuk pigeon origami. Keindahan bentuk tiga dimensi yang dihasilkan dari pigeon origami, ditambah hiasan manik- manik, payet, mutiara, dan bulu-bulu memberikan kesan unik, indah dan elegan. Pada gaun pengantin yang bersiluet A, dengan aplikasi pigeon origami disusun secara A-simetris, sehingga menghasilkan busana pengantin yang istimewa.

Abstract

Agate stone is a kind of volcanic stone that is constructed by ossified trickles of lava for thousand years. Agate stone has a special characteristic on its brightful color with special motif that no other stone has. Agate stone is divided by several types, one of the type is blue lace agate which has special characteristic on its wave lace pattern or baby blue ribbons. Color and motif of blue lace agate become a shape inspiration and decoration to make party gown. Party gown is a gown that is wore in a happy moment. Party gown in the afternoon has a characteristic on simple shape that is filled with glamorous embellishments. The luxury of the party gown can be created through several ways such as making decoration using some techniques and materials. One of the techniques of making decoration is using modular technique. Modular is one of the techniques that show the texture which imitates a shape which has shining color and is gradated. The application of this motif shape will influence the way people see towards other’s appearance
