Abstract

 This study examines the influence of the use of the CIRC model of SD 85 Parepare.  The formulation of the problem studied is whether there is an influence on the implementation of the CIRC learning model on student learning outcomes in Theme 7 of Togetherness Subtema 4 Learning 1 class II SD Negeri 85 Parepare.  This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the CIRC learning model on student learning outcomes in Theme 7 Togetherness Subtema 4 Learning 1 class II SD Negeri 85 Parepare.  This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research and uses Pre-experimental Design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.  The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample of 20 students.  Data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests in the form of multiple choices and documentation.  Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques.  The results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-Test test obtained significance of 0.00 (0.00 <0.05) and the results of the analysis of the value of t obtained by tcount> ttable (12.899> 2.86093) indicate that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.  This difference can be seen in the average student pre-test and post-test learning outcomes obtained in the experimental class.  Based on these results, it can be concluded that the CIRC learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of SD 85 Parepare students.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the impact of teachers competence at SMP N 4 Padangsidimpuan on student achievement. The survey conducted using 250 student respondents. It knows that one of the purposes of teaching and learning process is an increased understanding of the students who will eventually reflect in their achievements. A critical factor for improving student achievement is teachers competence. Teachers who lack skill in the field could undermine the result of that goal. The data will collect a questionnaire containing 25 questions. Data of this study meets the classical assumption means can be used to analyse the influence of independent variables using simple regression analysis. The result is showing that the organisation of secondary education need to continue to develop teachers’ competence. With competencies that are always updated and adjusted to the development needs of current knowledge, teachers have better equipped to assist their students in achieving a proud achievement. Keywords: Teachers’ Competence, Student Achievement, SMP

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of cooperative learning models of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type on learning to improve student learning outcomes. The subject of this research was the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Batang Onang. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research design used was the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart which includes the stages of planning, action and observation, and reflection. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets, student activity scale, and LKS. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Based on the results of data analysis in the first cycle of meeting I showed an increase in student mathematics learning outcomes. Research Results, namely an increase in student learning outcomes The average grade value when the pre test is only 38.67. The class average value increased by 63 in cycle I. The average grade value in the first cycle still did not meet the KKM set by the school. In the second cycle the average value of the class experienced an increase of 85.33. Classical learning completeness in the first cycle was only 53%. In cycle II classical learning completeness becomes 96%. This shows an increase in students' classical learning completeness by 43%.

Abstract

The research aims are to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills in mathematics by using the STAD Cooperative learning model. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects of this research are class VIII-4 of SMP Negeri 4 Padangsidimpuan, totalling 27 people. The object of this research is the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills. The results showed that the student learning tests by applying the STAD Type Cooperative learning model in the first cycle has obtained with a minimal category of 70.93% and in the second cycle increased to 86.04%. The increase from the period I to period II was 15.11%. With the achievement, the indicator has achieved by ≥ 80%. Then the results of the observations of student activities in the first cycle obtained levels of student activity of 71.97% "Enough" in the second cycle 85.24% with "Good" criteria. The increase that occurred period I to period II was 13.27%. Achievement indicator has accepted ≥ 80%. For the results of the observations the ability of teachers in the first cycle and second cycle obtained by the category of "Good". Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Critical Thinking Ability, STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model

Abstract

The problem in this study is the creation of learning the biology of students is still low in class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Barumun, less varied learning models. The purpose of this research is to know the enhancement of student biology learning creativity through problem-based learning on tissue material on plants in class XI IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Barumun year 2018-2019 lesson, through learning-based problems, the research approach used in this research is class action research. This research located at SMA Negeri 1 Barumun with the address of the cross-Riau road implemented after the approval letter of this research was issued. The subject is the class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Barumun While the object is a test of learning creativity of students by using a problem-based learning model on tissue material in plants in class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Barumun. The results of the creativity test on the I cycle gained an average of 72.25 with a percentage of 56.25% increase in cycle II by an average of 81.93 with compensation of  71.25%. Keywords: Creativity, learning outcomes, problem-based learning Model.

Abstract

Technological developments that occur at this time, especially in the field of education, are things that should be understood. Distance learning is an alternative way if you cannot carry out lectures directly in the classroom. Indirectly distance teaching can affect learning motivation. Learning motivation can emerge from the goal or drive to get the expected results. This research is to find out the effect of distance lectures on learning motivation of third-level polytechnic cadets in Penitentiary Management Class A as a research sample. The research method uses a type of quantitative research that explains and illustrates the effect of distance learning into an indicator of the success of learning motivation. Data analysis applies validity tests, formative tests, and simple linear regression. It can conclude that distance teaching influences the significant outcome of learning explanation of cadet polytechnic level III Corrections Management class A. The results of the data obtained indicate that there is a 76.2% significant influence on learning motivation. At the same time, the remaining 23.8% influenced by several other factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan antara lain: Pertama, Mengetahui Peningkatan Kemampuan Penalaran matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Inside Outside Circle. Kedua, Mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Inside Outside Circle. Ketiga, Mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Inside Outside Circle.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil tes belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Inside Outside Circle pada siklus I diperoleh dengan kategori minimal cukup yaitu 60 % dan pada siklus II meningkat 80 %. Peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 20 %.Dengan indicator pencapaian telah tercapai  80%. Kemudian untuk hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I diperoleh kadar aktivitas siswa sebesar 79,01 % “Cukup” pada siklus II 88,36 % “Baik”. Peningkatan yang terjadi dari siklus I kesiklus II sebesar 9,35 %. Indikator pencapaian telah tercapai  80 %.Sedangkan untuk hasil observasi kemampuan guru paa siklus I Dan siklus II diperoleh dengan kategori “Baik”.

Abstract

Secara umum pembelajaran matematika pada materi pokok trigonometri di SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Timur masih tergolong kurang variatif, dimana dalam kegiatan pembelajaran materi cenderung hanya berasal dari buku paket saja. Dalam pembelajaran materi trigonometri fokus pada pembahasan sudut dari berbagai segitiga. Sebenarnya guru maupun tenaga pendidik memiliki kesempatan untuk menciptakan suasana kelas yang lebih hidup, dengan mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Misalnya dalam pembelajaran materi trigonometri dapat dikaitkan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, seperti mengaitkannya dengan bangunan disekitar kita. Kegiatan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan inilah yang disebut dengan model pembelajaran CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning).Setelah dilakukan penelitian pada kelas Kontrol dapat diketahui bahwa nilai terendah siswa yaitu 30 berjumlah1 orang, untuk nilai tertinggi siswa yaitu 80 dan jumlah siswanya sebanyak 13 orang. Jadi, nilai rata rata siswa yang didapat adalah 66,69.Setelah itu kita dapat mengetahui bahwasanya jumlah siswa yang  tidak lulus dan yang lulus KKM pada kelas kontrol adalah sebesar 65,22% jumlah siswanya 15 orang yang lulus, dan 34,78% jumlah siswa 8 orang yang tidak lulus. Setelah dilakukan penelitian pada kelas eksperimen/perlakuan dapat diketahui bahwa nilai terendah siswa yaitu 50 sebanyak 4 orang siswa dan nilai tertinggi siswa yaitu 100 sebanyak 3 orang. Jadi, nilai rata rata siswa yang didapat adalah 76,09.Setelah itu kita dapat mengetahui bahwasanya jumlah siswa yang tidaklulus  KKM adalah 5 orang siswa (21,79%) dan lulus KKM sebanyak 18 orang siswa (78,26%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the mathematics learning achievement of Grade VII students of SMP using ST learning models is better than conventional learning models. This research is a quasi-experimental study that tries to compare mathematics learning achievement between students in class VII who received treatment with ST learning models and students in class VII who received treatment with conventional learning models. The population in this study was sixth-grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Purworejo, with a total of six classes. The sampling uses the Cluster Random Sampling technique by taking two types randomly ( randomly) ) of the population to determine the sample class. The research instrument was in the form of a learning achievement test in mathematics subject matter in a flat shape. Before the research conducts, the prerequisite test was done, which includes a normality test with the Lilliefors method and a homogeneity test with the Bartlett method, and a balance test with the T-test. After the achievement test data obtain, then the prerequisite tests are carried out, including the normality test with the Lilliefors method and the homogeneity test with the Bartlett method. In the final stage, a hypothesis test performed using a t-test with a significance level of ( ) 0, 05. Based on the results of data analysis with the hypothesis test shows that mathematics learning achievement of VII graders using ST learning models is better when compared to conventional learning models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Kampar Kelas II IPA I dengan mata pelajaran Khalifah Umar Bin Abdul  Aziz. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan 2 (dua) siklus. Model  Pembelajaran yang digunakan Kooperatif Terpadu membaca dan menulis. Pada observasi yang dilakukan, peserta didik kurang memahami pelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru. Model  pembelajaran kooperatif terpadu membaca dan menulis  kontekstual  pada  pokok  bahasan  Kemajuan  Dinasti  Umayyah (kekhlifah Umar bin Abdul Aziz ) telah  memberikan  nuansa  baru  dalam  pembelajaran  Sejarah   Kebudayaan  Islam   sehingga  pembelajaran  lebih  efektif.  Hal  ini  terbukti   dengan  adanya  perubahan  yang signifikan  terhadap  ketuntasan  belajar    peserta  didik.  Terlihat  pada  nilai  ulangan  peserta  didik  yang  dilakukan     setelah  siklus  II  mencapai  nilai  rata-rata  8,5  dengan  ketuntasan  belajar  11,5 %.
