Abstract

Predicting stock prices is contained in the basic approach is fundamental and technical analysis which is needed by entrepreneurs who invest their capital, this analysis is to determine the company's financial performance and must continue to be carried out, to carry out this analysis we use the help of several financial ratios where several types of ratios Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Equity, and Book Value per Share are some examples. The authors applied a quantitative descriptive approach to companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the Pulp & Paper sector for this study. According to the Correlation and Regression tables, all of the variables ROA, ROE, DER, and BVS have an effect on stock prices, but the stock session obtained on the variables ROA, ROE, and DER has a very significant effect on stock prices but has no significant effect on stock prices on the BVS variable. So in the long term the company must implement one of two policies, namely low solvency means using less debt than own capital and a low solvency policy will not cause high interest expenses to be borne by the company so that it will affect growth.

Abstract

PT.UKINDO BLANKHAN – POM is one of many large oil palm plantations that produces crude palm oil. The quality requirements for palm oil used as a raw material in the food industry and the non-food industry are distinct. Consequently, authenticity, purity, freshness, and other aspects need to be given more thought. The crude palm oil content is still selected manually in the processing section. It is challenging to process this, and it does not completely rule out the possibility of assessment errors. Based on the assessment above, determining high-quality oil frequently presents challenges, particularly when it comes to valuing crude oil levels or aspects in accordance with quality and standards. In light of these issues, a system that can assist in determining the level and quality of raw oil is required. Consequently, developing a method for determining the content of crude palm oil using Fuzzy MultiAttributeDecision Making and Simple Additive Weighting methods. Abstract

Lamp technology can also provide lighting, currently it has helped many people's activities in their daily life activities. Here the author aims to make a prototype in the form of a tool with a system that can turn on and turn off the lights, by turning off different lights and efficiency so that it no longer requires physical contact to turn them on and off. so that the lights can turn on and off by utilizing a sound from the movement of the human body that can be received directly without having to touch the switch of the lamp. In making it the author uses the Arduino Uno microcontroller as the brain of this system, with input in the form of the FC-04 sound sensor module, namely the sound sensor works based on incoming sound waves. If the sound waves hit the sensor membrane, it will have an effect on the sensor membrane vibrating. The membrane will convert sound waves into electrical quantities which can later be used as parameters to control output devices. This system is designed in such a way that it can work according to the desired features

Abstract

Blink detection is an important technique in a variety of settings, including facial motion analysis and signal processing.  However, automatic blink detection is challenging due to its blink rate. This paper proposes a real-time method for detecting eye blinks in a video series. The method is based on automatic facial landmark detection trained on real-world datasets and demonstrates robustness against various environmental factors, including lighting conditions, facial emotions, and head position. The proposed algorithm calculates the position of facial landmarks, extracts scalar values using the Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR), and characterises eye proximity in each frame. For each video frame, the proposed method calculates the location of the facial landmark and extracts the vertical distance between the eyelids using the position of the facial landmark. Blinks are detected by using the EAR threshold value and recognising the pattern of EAR values in a short temporal window. According to the results from a common data set, it is shown that the proposed approach is more efficient than state-of-the-art techniques.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new virus that can be transmitted and the worst impact is death. Covid-19 first appeared in Wuhan, China and eventually spread throughout the world, one of which was North Sumatra Province. The spread of Covid-19 cases was quite rapid, until finally the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Covid-19 case a pandemic. Based on the conditions that occurred, this final project discusses the prediction of positive cases of Covid-19 in five locations in North Sumatra using the Generalized Space Time Autoregressive (GSTAR) model. Considering that Covid-19 spreads very easily, it does not only depend on time but also the proximity between locations, so the GSTAR model is quite good to use in predicting it, assuming the parameters between locations are heterogeneous. The estimation used is OLS with inverse distance weight. This study aims to determine the best GSTAR model and forecast positive cases of Covid-19 at five locations in North Sumatra. The results show that the best GSTAR model in this study is -OLS with an inverse weight of distance with forecasting results for the next 10 days in May 2022.

Abstract

In statistics, one way to group (classify) a data mathematically is called classification. There are several types of classification methods, one of which is Chi-Square Automatic Interaction Detection, which is abbreviated as CHAID. CHAID method will be applied to North Sumatra stunting data. Stunting is a condition in which a person's height is shorter than that of other people of the same age. The dependent variable in the study was stunting, which was measured in infants aged 24-59 months, while the independent variable was a factor that affected stunting. The factors that influence the incidence of stunting in infants aged 24-59 months in North Sumatra based on the results of the analysis (CHAID) are family income, sanitation and water sources. From the results of the CHAID analysis, 5 different groups were obtained, namely: Infants aged 24-59 months who were stunted were infants with an economic income of IDR 1,000,000 - IDR 2,000,000 (98.4%) and inadequate sanitation (100%), Babies aged 24-59 months who are stunted are babies with an economic income of IDR 1,000,000 - IDR 2,000,000 (98.4%) and proper sanitation (93.2%), babies aged 24-59 months who are not stunted are infants with an economic income of Rp. 3,000,000 - Rp. 5,000,000 (95.5%). Infants aged 24-59 months who are not stunted are infants with an economic income of > Rp. 5,000,000 (99.5%) and adequate water sources (100%) and infants aged 24-59 months who are not stunted with an economic income of > IDR 5,000,000 (99.5%) and inadequate water sources (97.1%).
