Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of significant between learning models talking stick method to the magic math mathematics learning outcomes in the classroom digunaakan V. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods of classic experimental design types (classical experimental design), which was held in Elementary School 067849 Medan. The population in this study consisted of all students in fifth grade elementary totaling 82 people, and also the whole population sample. The research instruments used were pretest and posttest. Statistical hypothesis testing formula used t-test, and the results of hypothesis test obtained by the average - average grade control = 67, average - average class experiment = 76, and t test with a value of t = 2.32> t table = 1.990. So we concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means there is significant influence between the learning model talking stick method on learning outcomes magic math mathematics on the subject of cubes and blocks class V SD Negeri 067849 Medan.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to know: the difference of improvement in self-regulated learning of students that given problem-based learning with students that given  direct learning. The type of this research is a quasi-experimental research by taking samples from the existing population. The variable of this research consist of independent variable that is problem based learning model while the dependent variable isself regulated learning of student.The population of this research is all students of SMP Swasta Ar-rahman Percut and the sample of this research is grade eight with taken sample two classes (experiment and control)  with total 60 students. The instrument of this research were: scale of self-regulated learning. Data that have been collected then analyzed and performed hypothesis testing by using T-test. Based of the results analysis, it showed that: improvment  of the students’ self-regulated learning that given problem-based learning was higher than the students’ ability that given direct learning His then, suggested that problem-based learning be used as an alternative for mathematic teacher to improved students’ ability in mathematical critical thinking and self-regulated learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the ability to solve problems and think creatively in mathematics students who are taught with the problem based learning model with the two-stay-two stray cooperative learning model in class X SMA Negeri 2 Range of TP 2018 / 2019. This research is research quantitative research with quasi-experimental type. This sampling technique uses the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The sample of this study was students of class X-1 and X-2 of SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran T.P 2018/2019, amounting to 60 students. The test instrument used to determine students' creative problem solving abilities and mathematical creative thinking is to use a test in the form of a description. Data analysis was performed by analysis of variance (ANAVA). These findings show: 1). There is a difference in the ability to solve mathematical problem of students who are taught with the Problem Based Learning model and the Two Stay-Two Stray cooperative learning model in the material of the Three Variable Linear Equation System; 2). There is no difference between students' creative thinking abilities in mathematics taught by the Problem Based Learning model and the Two Stay-Two Stray cooperative learning model in the Three Variable Linear Equation System material; 3). There is a difference in the ability of problem solving and mathematical creative thinking of students who are taught with the Problem Based Learning model and the Two Stay-Two Stray cooperative learning model in the material of the Three Variable Linear Equation System; 4). There is no significant interaction between the learning models used on the problem solving abilities and students' mathematical creative thinking in the Three Variable Linear Equation System material. The conclusions in this study explain that there are differences in students' problem solving abilities and creative mathematical thinking that are taught with the Problem Based Learning Model and the Two Stay-Two Stray Cooperative Learning Model.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes of class VII D SMP Negeri 2 MLATI students with STAD cooperative learning type. The study was conducted in two cycles with 6 meetings, with the subject of the research being Grade VII D students of SMP Negeri 2 MLATI, with 32 students. Data collection techniques in this study used test and non-test (observation) techniques. The instruments used in this study were test instruments in the form of multiple choice questions and non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets of teacher and student activities. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of student mathematics learning outcomes data and activities of teachers and students, as well as analysis of the achievement of research objectives. The results showed there was an increase in student learning outcomes. The results were obtained based on the results of tests given at the beginning of the study, the end of cycles 1 and 2, namely from the initial condition of 9.38% to 53.13% at the end of cycle 1, then 84.38% at the end of cycle 2. Based on the results of the study , it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students increased through the application of STAD type cooperative learning in class VII D students of SMP Negeri 2 MLATI in the 2016/2017 year.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) know that the ability of students to understand the concepts taught by the Cooperative Script Strategy is more influential than to be taught with the Problem Based Learning Strategy; 2) knowing that students' mathematical problem solving abilities taught by Cooperative Script Strategies are more influential than being taught with Problem Based Learning Strategies; 3) knowing that the ability of understanding concepts and mathematical problem solving taught by Cooperative Script Strategies is more influential than being taught with Problem Based Learning Strategies. 4) knowing the interaction between learning strategies on the ability to understand concepts and students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The population is all students of class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura T.P 2018-2019 consisting of 3 classes and totaling 104 students will be selected 2 classes as the experimental class and the control class that are sampled in this study. The test instrument used by using a test in the form of description. Data analysis was performed using Two Path Analysis of Variance (ANAVA). The results of these findings indicate: 1) The ability to understand the concepts of students taught with the Cooperative Script Strategy is more influential than taught with the Problem Based Learning Strategy; 2) The mathematical problem solving ability of students taught with Cooperative Script Strategies is no more influential than students taught with Problem Based Learning Strategies; 3) The ability to understand concepts and mathematical problem solving students who are taught with Cooperative Script Strategy is more influential than taught with Problem Based Learning Strategies; 4) There is an interaction between learning strategies with the ability to understand concepts and solve students' mathematical problems.

Abstract

The research aims to know and identify: (1) The positive influence of product diversity on purchasing decisions, (2) The positive influence of price diversity on consumer buying decisions, (3) positive influence on the promotion of decisions Consumer Purchase, (4) positive influence of location against consumer purchase decisions, (5) positive influence of product diversity to consumer satisfaction through consumer buying decisions, (6) positive influence of price diversity towards consumer satisfaction Through consumer purchase decisions, (7) positive influence of promotion to consumer satisfaction through consumer purchase decisions, (8) positive influence of location towards consumer satisfaction through consumer buying decisions, and (9) positive influence Decision to purchase customer satisfaction. Research conducted at the Transmart Carrefour Plaza Medan Fair. Types of research is quantitative research with research methods is a survey method.  The population in this research is the consumer Transmart Carrefour Plaza Medan Fair as much as 100 respondents.  The data collection instruments used are polls. The analysis of the data used is path analysis. Research findings Show: (1) There is a positive influence of product diversity on consumer purchasing decisions with a coefficient of 0.204 so that it can be determined that a variation of 20.40% in the purchase decision is decided by Diversity of products, (2) there is a positive influence on the price diversity of consumer purchasing decisions with a coefficient of 0.297, so that it can be determined that a variation of 29.70% on the purchase decision is defined by a diversity of prices, (3) There is a positive influence on the promotion to the consumer purchase decision with a coefficient of 0.175, so it can be determined that a variation of 17.50% on the purchase decision set by the promotion, (4) there is a positive influence of location To the consumer purchase decision with a coefficient of 0.327, so it can be determined that a variation of 32.70% on the purchase decision is defined by an easily accessible location factor, (5) There is a positive influence of product diversity to customer satisfaction through a consumer purchase decision with a coefficient of 0.128 so that it can be determined that a variation of 12.80% on consumer satisfaction is defined by factors Product diversity through consideration of the purchasing decision factor, (6) There is a positive influence of price diversity towards consumer satisfaction through the decision of consumer purchase by coefficient. Amounting to 0.148 so that it can be determined that a variation of 14.80% on consumer satisfaction is defined by the price diversity factor through consideration of the purchase decision Factor, (7) there is a positive influence promotion to customer satisfaction Through a consumer purchase decision with a coefficient of 0.157 so that it can be determined that a variation of 15.70% on consumer satisfaction is defined by the promotion factor through consideration of the purchasing decision factor, (8) There is a positive influence on location to customer satisfaction through the decision of consumer purchase with a coefficient of 0.114 so that it can be determined that a variation of 11.40% in consumer satisfaction is defined by the location factor through Decision factor considerations, and (9) there is a positive influence on purchasing decisions positively affect the customer satisfaction with a coefficient of 0.548 so that it can be interpreted that there is a variation of 54.80% on satisfaction Determined by the purchasing decision factor.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the results of learning mathematics of elementary school students SDIT Deli Insani of class V on the subject matter of fractions by using number playing card media. The from of this study is classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles, using number playing cards at SDIT Deli Insani in class V Tanjung Morawa. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SDIT Deli Insani, amounting to 30 students. This action was carried out in April 2018. Methods of collecting data using observation and documentation. The data analysis used is quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of the study showed an increase in students' ability to understand concepts from the first cycle and second cycle. Percentage of increase in pre-action results, cycle I and cycle II students' concept comprehension ability that is 13.04% for indicators identifying number forms using number game cards (dominoes) and indicators solving problems in fractional form operations using dominoes 27.26%. the success indicator in cycle II reaches 80%. Thus the application of number game cards can improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts at SDIT Deli Insani in Class V.

Abstract

Abstrak:Kepercayaan diri siswa menjadi hal yang penting dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi kehidupan yang semakin menantang. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Square (TPS). Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS adalah model pembelajaran kelompok heterogen yang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk berpikir mandiri kemudian mendiskusikan hasil pemikirannya dengan pasangan berdua dan berempat. Dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa ini dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS untuk siswa SMP. Selama Oktober hingga Desember 2018 penelitian dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus dan diterapkan kepada 32 siswa SMP di Pekanbaru. Data penelitian diperoleh dari instrumen non tes yaitu angket kepercayaan diri, lembar pengamatan guru dan siswa, catatan peneliti, dan lembar refleksi. Kondisi awal menunjukkan rata-rata kepercayaan diri siswa berada pada kriteria sedang. Setelah siklus 1 diperoleh rata-rata kepercayaan diri siswa meningkat menjadi kriteria tinggi, namun masih terdapat beberapa catatan yang ditulis dalam lembar refleksi. Setelah adanya perbaikan, rata-rata kepercayaan diri siswa berada pada kriteria tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata yang meningkat dibanding siklus 1 dikarenakan adanya upaya perbaikan yang disesuaikan dengan rencana. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa target peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa SMP tercapai melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS, dengan kondisi siswa berada pada kelas VIII dengan kelas yang heterogen dan kemampuan kognitif siswa rata-rata berada pada kategori sedang. Kata Kunci:Kepercayaan Diri, Pembelajaran Kooperatif, Think Pair Square. Abstract:Student confidence is important in preparing students for increasingly challenging lives. One method that can be used to improve student confidence is Think Pair Square (TPS) cooperative learning. TPS type cooperative learning is a heterogeneous group learning model that provides opportunities for students to think independently then discuss the results of their thinking with partners of two and four. In increasing students' confidence, a classroom action research study using TPS cooperative learning for junior high school students was conducted. During October to December 2018 the study was conducted in two cycles and applied to 32 junior high school students in Pekanbaru. The research data were obtained from non-test instruments namely self-confidence questionnaire, teacher and student observation sheets, researcher notes, and reflection sheets. The initial conditions indicate the average level of student confidence is at the medium criteria. After cycle 1, the average student's self-confidence is increased to a high criterion, but there are still some notes written in the reflection sheet. After the improvement, the average student confidence is at a high criterion with an average value that increases compared to cycle 1 due to the improvement effort that is adjusted to the plan. This shows that the target of increasing the confidence of junior high school students is achieved through cooperative learning type TPS, with the condition of students in class VIII with heterogeneous classes and cognitive abilities of students in the average category is in the medium category. Keywords:Self Confidence, Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Square

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menggambarkan peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan modul matematika berbasis budaya Mandailing dengan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik (PMR). Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri dari empat tahap: mendefinisikan, merancang, mengembangkan dan menyebarluaskan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA 1 Batang Angkola. Data penelitian diperoleh dari lembar soal tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Hasil tes I dan tes II menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam tes I adalah 79,23 naik menjadi 84,60 pada tes II. (2) Modul matematika berbasis budaya Mandailing yang dikembangkan telah dinyatakan valid baik dari segi konten dan konstruk; modul matematika berbasis budaya Mandailing yang dikembangkan dinyatakan mudah digunakan dilihat dari tanggapan siswa dan guru; dan modul matematika berbasis budaya Mandailing yang dikembangkan dinyatakan efektif dilihat dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Kata Kunci:Komunikasi Matematika, Budaya, Modul  Abstract:This research is intended to describe the Enhancement of students' mathematical communication skills with Mandailing culture with Mathematics Realistic Approach based mathematics modules. This research uses a 4-D model which consists of four stages: defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The subjects of this study were students of class XI of Batang Angkola 1 High School. The research data were obtained from a mathematical communication ability test question sheet. The results of the test I and test II showed that: (1) the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills in the first test was 79.23, rising to 84.60 on the second test. (2) Mandailing culture-based mathematics modules developed is valid both in terms of content and construct; Mandailing culture based mathematics modules developed was easily used based on by students’ dan teacher’s response; and Mandailing culture based mathematics modules developed is effective, seen by student’s mathematical communication skills. Keywords:Mathematical Communication, Culture, Module

Abstract

Abstrak:Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk melihat adakah perbedaan minat belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR) dan model pembelajaran Open Ended. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 9 kelas dan sampel diambil 2 kelas sampling purvosive yaitu kelas VIII-1 dan kelas VIII-5. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Two Group Randomized Posttest-Only Control Design. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar angket (kuisioner) minat belajar matematika siswa. Data-data diperoleh dari hasil angket minat belajar matematika siswa yang diberikan kepada siswa. Dari hasil analisa data, pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai hasil pengujian hipotesis (ANOVA) diperoleh dengan hasil signifikan 0,00 ≤ 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dalam hal ini berarti bahwa ada perbedaan minat belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran matematika realistik dan model pembelajaran Open Ended. Kata Kunci:Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik,Open Ended, Minat Belajar Abstract:The objectives of this study are to see whether there are differences in students' interest in learning mathematics by using realistic mathematics learning models (PMR) and Open Ended learning models. The population in this study were students of class VIII totaling 9 classes and samples were taken 2 purvosive sampling classes namely class VIII-1 and class VIII-5. The research design used was Two Group Randomized Posttest-Only Control Design. The research instrument used questionnaire sheets  students' interest in learning mathematics. The data were obtained from the results of the students' mathematics learning interest questionnaire given to students. From the results of data analysis, the experimental class obtained the results of hypothesis testing (ANOVA) obtained with a significant result of 0.00 ≤ 0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In this case it means that there are differences in student learning interest by using realistic mathematical learning models and Open Ended learning models. Keywords:Realistic Mathematics Learning, Open Ended, Interest In Learning
